July 22, 2018 one night… This hotel is clean and nice the settings is nice and I LOVE the fresh aroma of smell that welcomes us. The room was clean, cool and nice, breakfast was good/ excellent I love the fresh squeeze orange juice. Check in and checking out was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Traveling from Tennessee, into Atlanta we stayed for one night at this hotel, then continue our journey from Atlanta to Orlando, Bahamas. Whenever I'm in ATL I will be staying at this hotel.

We didn’t stay there. We walked in and asked what the prices were for the night after waiting in line for about 15 minutes, even though other employees were around. The price was $114 for a night — which is fine. If that’s the price then that’s the price. But then we asked what is the military discount. It went from $114 to $140. How is that a discount for the military? We left and went to another hotel with an actual Military discount.

Extremely friendly staff. Convenient location. The room was very clean and nice. Comfortable beds. The pool was a nice treat. We really liked the long term parking option and the 24 hour shuttle service. It felt like everyone working there was trying to take good care of us. From the two very nice, young ladies at the front desk at check in as the lady at checkout. Even the shuttle bus driver made sure we were dropped off conveniently. We will definitely recommend this hotel and come back!

Best experience! Rooms were great! Best part about the place was no sound of jet flying over from the inside of the inn. Awesome & quiet. When we did venture outside. My son and niece enjoyed seeing the planes fly over.

Update: I had to book last minute for my niece's Graduation. As always, I enjoyed my stay. Breakfast was nice. And I love the new design of the rooms. Only thing I missed was the Orange water in the lobby. Will be back. This time I had a good experience. The staff were all nice and helpful. Room was nice and cool. Only thing was I couldn't figure out how to change the temperature in the shower.

I stayed here last night and the staff and the manager were so accommodating! From the very start, at check-in, they really went the extra mile! This morning, was greeted by thee CUTEST little blonde woman working at the desk, and was so impressed she greeted me by my name! Loved the hospitality that really made me feel like I was home. Thank you Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport for showing the love!

We had to book last minute after a canceled flight and this was the closest and cheapest hotel I could get using points. The staff was extremely helpful verifying the room was available, explaining how to get to the airport shuttle, and providing basic toiletries since our luggage was already at our destination. The hotel was clean and comfortable with new furniture and linens. We didn't get to check out the amenities, but it was a good experience for what we needed.

We drove to Atlanta to catch a flight and didn't want to leave the car in airport parking. The hotel offers a parking and shuttle service which is reasonably priced and convenient. The shuttle driver dropped us right at our terminal and gave us some helpful direction. Great service.

We used the hotel's park, stay, and fly rate for two rooms to stay the night before our flight to San Juan for a cruise. Both rooms were supposed to be double queensized beds, but we found out the next morning that the room or son and his family got was a queen and a pullout couch, which didn't workout great as the pullout had plastic on the matress which made noise all night long whenever the kids moved. I had told them both rooms were supposed to be alike so they never thought to say anything until morning, otherwise we could have swapped rooms and everything would've been great. That little snafu aside, everything else was great. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. There were signs up about construction but we weren't inconvenienced by it at all. The breakfast was good also, as was the free airport shuttle. We'll definitely stay here again when flying out of Atlanta.

Dropped off a coworker for his flight home… lobby was nice, clean, modern and newly renovated. He mentioned room was a little dated but acceptable… sign in lobby states they are still renovating rooms. As mentioned by another reviewer outside landscaping would rank an additional star. Secure parking lot prevents non-guest use.

I would have gave this place five stars if they would have have some curve appeal. But once I got inside my room it was beautiful it might have been kind of low in like if you're not a billionaire type situation. But overall it was nice I think their prices is just a little bit too hard take about 30-40 bucks off of that and it's a great deal.

Hotel was just okay. A little run down but I saw a sign that said renovation was to start soon. Friendly desk staff. The bed was very comfortable, Wi-Fi was adequate, good selection of channels on the television. Free breakfast was good. No restaurant on site or even nearby, but there were lots of menus on display from places that will deliver.

Hotel is close to the Georgia International Convention Center. The service was exceptional. Malcom at the front desk deserves a raise! He was very pleasant, helpful, and gave great recommendations for travel and food. Crown Pizza was amazing! The hotel is going through some renovations but our room was very clean, comfortable, and updated.

Didn't really spend much time there… Was your typical Holiday inn experience. Nice staff, pretty good rooms, everything was clean. Nothing to say here that's bad. Nothing exceptionally good either. Only thing that annoyed me was the airport shuttle took forever to get there. Other than that it's good.

Decent hotel for the price close to the Atlanta airport. The location and shuttle service are very convenient and the room was comfortable. Only issue with this hotel is that the breakfast is pretty terrible, recommend eating elsewhere if possible.

The room was very clean and cozy. I loved the adjustable shower head that provided extremely wonderful water pressure. I slept comfortably through the evening without waking. The new renovations are very impressive, with beautifully lit hallways. The front desk clerk was pleasant and extremely helpful. Although I can't remember her name I would like to wish her uncle a happy birthday!

Very good attention of the staff.

Great hotel for the price. Currently a good bit of renovations going on but the staff is super friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the shuttle doesn't run enough to and from the airport. You would think that having a dedicated shuttle they would be able to make more trips, but they only run twice an hour. While we waited for the shuttle are the airport other shuttles had made multiple trips to multiple locations in the time it took our shuttle to make one trip.

The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. The front desk helped us find a place for dinner and seemed very genuine. A shuttle is offered to local restaurants as well, which was convenient. To leave the hotel parking lot at night there is a coded gate, which adds a level of security, even though the hotel didn't seem to be in a bad part of town.

This way to Des Moines, Iowa to take a class and missed my flight. I was to stay at Holiday Inn Express for one night.

Nice quiet hotel. Beds were comfy and they had a fridge in the room. Rooms do not have a safe which was inconvenient. Rooms could also use a little cosmetic maintenance, but nothing was too ugly to not stay. Breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, biscuit, gravy, yogurt, pancakes, cereal, cinnamon rolls, fruit and assorted breads. Staff was very friendly.

Super friendly staff. Extra comfy bed and pillows. Nice and clean. Would definitely stay again. Was a little difficult to find by car in the dark.

Directly under a runway flight path, but super quiet in the rooms! It's fun to watch the planes landing. Hotel is obviously old, but is undergoing renovation. Breakfast was nothing special, standard stuff for this type of hotel.

Location is convenient to the airport and the freeway. The room is decent size, bathroom is very small and unattractive. Even after turning the air conditioner off, the room was still vey cold and the comforter was so thin it was difficult to sleep comfortably. The breakfast was standard fate, however, the sausage patties were consistently over cooked, dry, and tough; the scrambled eggs were over wet and unappetizing; and the fruit selections were unripe. Very disappointing overall.

Hotel was located close to the airport and the staff were very friendly but was I felt it was overpriced for the conditions of it. Hotel is under renovation but it looked like they were only working on the lobby area. Rooms were outdated and some fixtures in the bathrooms were broken or falling off. Our in room phone wasn't working and our toilet clogged. Maintenance was called but said it was normal. So we had to fix it ourselves. Wifi was also pretty bad due to everyone sharing the same connection and it bogging down quite regularly.

A hotel simply to spend a night.

Very convenient to the airport. 5 minutes away. Quiet rooms. Currently undergoing renovation but room was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.

Dreary, dismal and even a little bit creepy. Stained sheets and furniture. No mini fridge or microwave. Fan doesn't have a constant-on setting to muffle noise. Honestly you're better off staying at a Quality Inn or some other much lower priced option. The two stars are for the friendly and professional shuttle driver and front desk employees. Doesn't live up to the usual Holiday Inn brand IMO.

I had a great experience at this hotel! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I was in town taking a test and I could tell they genuinely cared and wanted to make my stay less stressful. The shuttle to and from the airport was great. The staff helped me order a cab to take me to my test and were very polite. Very clean room. I was actually surprised because sometimes airport hotels aren't ideal. No complaints. The only issue I had (granted I am really picky about this and most people aren't) the doors to the rooms were very loud and people would slam them. If there is a way for the hotel to soften the doors that would have been perfect. This is not the hotel's fault at all — people should be more courteous at 1am and 630am but surprise, they are not. Again, this does not reflect on the hotel at all this would just be a great improvement. Thanks for the great experience for the great price.

This hotel falls below the standards I have come to expect of the brand. The Front desk staff is friendly enough, but does not have the same level of professionalism that other location may train into the team. The hotel may be undergoing renovations, but there is no signage stating so, just tools and boxes splayed in various areas. I will say, that the grounds are well kept and the gym is very nicely maintained. The rooms, though clean and smelling fresh, are aged, and the plumbing in the bathroom is poor, with toilets not flushing well and the tub drain being partially clogged. Overall, a decent stay, but not what I would expect from a HIE location. Maybe this is an older property that was recently acquired under the name and will be undergoing a reno?

The transport to there was on time and very helpful. Once I arrived to check in, the process took less than 5 min. The stay was nice and quiet which I was able to get my work done. In the morning, the breakfast was good enough to fill you up and tasted pretty nice. Overall, I would recommend.

The hotel is being remodeled. We arrived at 11 pm and the parking lot was full. No spaces available at all and cars parked on the sideways and double rows. It pretends to have great security but the way the parking lot was I doubt they are all guests. The pool is outdoor and not heated. I guess the hotel is only ok and convenient if you have business at or around the airport.

Right now they are doing much construction, but the hotel is well beautiful bedded well comfortible.

Decent hotel with not much around it. Rooms are pretty basic but, have no fridge or microwave. Gated parking lot that requires a code to leave. Lobby is pretty nice with a decent breakfast. Just a basic hotel all around with no real negatives or positives.

Very clean, friendly staff. Great breakfast, good amount of parking. Hotel was built well enough you could not hear the planes flying over head like some of the other hotels in the area.

Service is good, room was fitted nicely. Nice variety or breakfast which is complimentary. The room was very noicey due to the pipes and air-conditioning above.

I stayed at this hotel because my friends were staying at another hotel on the same road that didn't have anymore availability. That being said, the rate was pretty reasonable, the staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the breakfast — though not incredible quality — did have a larger selection of food than I was expecting.

The lighting in the room isn't terribly inviting. The lobby area is nice, but the room itself feels dingy. The hallways are dark and unwelcoming. The water in the shower refused to get warm.

Love it! Clean, cozy, quiet, relaxing place. Awesome breakfast every morning. Staff is helpful and polite. As for the area there are shops all over. Need a vehicle to get around. For new visitors I would recommend camp Creek rd. They have all kinds of shops and restaurants. Been here for over a month. Definitely recommend this place. Keep up the good work!

Clean, nice rooms. Convenient location. My only complaint was the light timer in the bathroom and my parents and I had checked out but had to park again and go back inside to get an exit code for the gate.

We reserved 2 rooms. One was right the other only had one bed for 4 people. They would not make this right. I called corporate and when they called the front desk to help me resolve the situation the front desk called the police and lied saying I was threatening them and had police escort an elderly woman and 3 children off the premises at 1030 at night with nowhere to go. The people at the front desk were being cold hearted and laughed at us as we were leaving the building. I once again called corporate to file a complaint about how I was treated and they said they didn't have control over how their franchise owners handle their business.
