Reviews of The Westin Atlanta Airport 4*
The best service in the area. Everything clean and well organized.
Outstanding service, extremely knowledgeable and went over and above in service. Can't say enough nice things about Mrs. Florence Boeli and her platform! Florence has an amazing reputation in her field because of her no nonsense attitude, her work ethic and core values. We recently worked with her on helping us invest in her platform. Although Mrs. Florence Boeli is known for good recommendation, she took our investment higher under her wing and found her the perfect place that was in her good range. It was a very good investment the platform was very helpful and every day profits to look at. They made our investment feel very comfortable and wonderful every way. From the start to finish the process went smoothly and effortlessly. Perfect work she did I really enjoyed the process because of the hard work of the team. Highly recommend Mrs. Florence Boeli and her platform for job well done. Don't be too busy to read my success story and pick the challenge by starting your own investment today. Great hotel. Excellent staff and a very clean environment.
I guess I had high expectations for The Westin but didn't expect them to be a tiny step from Motel 6. Couldn't plug any of my devices into the TV to watch what I wanted. The room is quite small and no desk. I get 1 drawer to put my clothes in sharing it with some Bibles. Pay for Wi-Fi, $10 a day. I just stayed at the Hyatt Place a block away and I should have went back as it was pretty great compared to this. Oh yeah. $23 a day to park there.
Nice rooms, great service.
So many things. But the last straw for me was when I called room service. She says I would have to pay a 5 dollar fee, and there would be another delivery fee, but they would not know how much it was until my food was delivered to my room. She suggested I come down and get it. I said no thanks I am in my pajamas. I'm leaving tomorrow and will never come here again!
Sold a room that was not cleaned, clearly the room was used by two people as both beds were a mess, no towels, trash in bathroom and hair in the shower drain. When calling the front desk I was asked if I wanted to come downstairs. No I would like someone to change the sheets and give me towels for the room I paid for, I was told someone would be up to take care of, never happened. Saw an employee changing sheets in other rooms on the 4th floor she said had no towels on her cart but would get me some, again never happened. I do not recommend this hotel as they didn’t clean the room or follow through with taking care of it when they said they would👎
My favorite hotel! Everyone is professional and very accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel with room service and shuttle to ATL airport.
Awesome hotel. Clean, and the staff is very accommodating.
The staff here is awesome! They are very patient and very helpful.
No microwaves in rooms …just the very basics of most hotels at this level. Not a deal breaker, but a missing perk that created disappointment.
Great surprise from The Westin Atlanta Airport with a junior suite upgrade. Newly remodeled room! Great service from front desk to restaurant, with every team member being courteous and acknowledging my status… nice touch. Always my go to in ATL.
The Beds are simply the best! very helpful with all my needs. Definitely the restaurant and bar was a bonus.
Close proximity to the airport. Rooms clean with very comfy beds and pillows.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Nice and quiet people here are friendly.
Check in was smooth, room is clean and tastefully decorated.
The customer service was great.
Having got to bed at 4am (flight cancelled) we were woken at 7.30 by hammering and drilling from the room above, presumably doing maintenance work.
Not impressed!
Very polite and nice rooms, just hated the fact that there wasn't any 24hr room service available… other than that the stay was great.
Really nice clean rooms …
Very nice staff, perfect sized clean room with all necessities provided and 24 hour room service. The hotel shuttle driver stopped the bus when I was running after it. Thank you, cuz’ it’s cold.
Nice place. Great staff!
Such a clean and friendly environment! check-in took under two minutes and parking was simple. Room service was delicious and the delivery woman was super thoughtful and sweet. This has become our hotel now whenever we travel out of Atlanta.
Lovely hotel. Great staff
clean room, food was on point.
complementary hotel shuttle.
Nice Hotel. Beautiful atmosphere.
Excelent service! Comfortable rooms, good coffe!
Great service, quality rooms.
Nice place with romantic environment.
Great meeting facility and wonderful staff!
Great service … spacious room & VERY COMFORTABLE King size bed!
Not too great. The rooms were not clean as expected.
Great time, wonderful customer service.
The Valet Staff we're so professional and very nice. They accommodated me (I was late! ) as a handicap guest, where as the lot was already full so I can make the AKA Event asap. Please tell them Keep up the Good Work and if they did any discount on my company tickets Ask for me smoothtickets. Com
Sonya.
Wonderful place! We are Sending my sons dog
Raven to Hawaii and found this was a pet
Friendly hotel. Super nice staff at check in. We will be back!
First impression, gorgeous facility. Booked a room with a king size bed. When we arrived, found out we had to pay to park our rental in the lot. Then when we get to our room, 2 queen beds. Don't get me wrong comfortable. Just the service part, not so much.
Mostly Clean but old. Needs renovation. Chairs in room old and stained, worn and dirty. They need to select fabrics that can stand up to high traffic and be easily cleaned. Beds are very comfortable. Love the beds. I sleep better here than at home. Staff is friendly and helpful. Valet convenient but costs $25 per day plus tips coming and going daily, so actually $35 per night. This property should be downgraded to a three star hotel until after renovations are completed. Definitely not up to the Westin standard overall but ok for short stays. No microwave in standard rooms.
Place looks cool! I had a short few hours of sleep but the bed was far better than any other hotel I had checked in. The room was spacious, neat and clean. Enough pillows for 2 and fluffy. Able to have a good rest, after a long flight and missing my connecting flight. Close to the airport with shuttles to take you back and forth. Comfy and convenient hotel to stay! Thumbs up!
This place was as great as the Westin name. Everyone was helpful and friendly. We honestly felt right at home. A young lady named Shennida (please excuse the spelling) who works out front, met us, helped with the bags and carried them to the room. She set the tone for the rest of the stay. I really hope she's commended for her hospitality and service. We will stay here the next time we visit the city.
Recently renovated, full service Marriott, 10 minutes from the airport. The full bar offers excellent food and drinks in an open area with plenty of places for groups to relax and get together. On site restaurant with a bourbon and steakhouse theme in addition to casual dining in the bar area. Rooms are modern and comfortable, I really liked the bathroom. However, the staff make this property stand out from a typical airport hotel environment, super friendly and extremely helpful.
Two stars only because the staff was nice at check in and the food at the restaurant was great. The room however was filthy! I am not one to leave reviews over something petty, this was gross. We didn’t bother complaining since we were only here one night. We stayed in a jr suite and it reeked like something musty to the point of having a headache. The bathroom towels had makeup stains on them from the previous guests and it was obvious they were damp and hadn’t been changed. The bathroom floor was soooo sticky, I don’t even want to know when it had been cleaned last. Like I had to peel my shoes off of it sticky. The furniture and blinds are covered in gunk and stains and smell bad. Really disappointing for a Westin hotel.
Worst place I stayed at in along time, the price that was put out for the room was not worth what was given far as amenities or accommodations. Room didn't get cleaned had to ask for clean towels. The breakfast was over priced. There was no water available for guest. Also, it was not motorcycle friendly.
Convenient for travelers. Many flight crews we're staying at the hotel. As an SPG hotel, nightly stay points are married to Marriott stays. Hotel is in good shape, but a Refresh is due to bring it up to traditional Westin standards. The sister Marriott property next door provides more amenities as to restaurants. The included airport shuttle service runs 24 hours (every 15-20 minutes) ; although it only services the Domestic terminal. International travelers with luggage are better served by taking a taxi to and from the more remote terminal.
Absolute crooks. A few months ago I was parked n their parking lot while I used their shuttle service to go to the airport for business. I come back and they allowed my truck to be stolen and highly vandalized. They even forced me to pay a $98 parking pass. The police filed a report and the hotel still refused to be helpful in anyway. It is believed it was a member of the staff. They absolutely refused to help cover any costs, refund my parking pass and actually attempted to blame it all on me. I was out of town with my keys on me. I was then harassed by their management and lawyers, which obviously hasn't stopped me. They are crooked thieves and will steal from you. Stay away!
Crooks....beware ......do not Park there, stay away from this hotel
Nov 8, 2021 had my truck vandalized along with 10 other vehicles while parked in their paid parking. Told they are not responsible… I believe it was an inside job… and will be filing a law suit. If you are one of the other 10 plus people that also was broken into, please reach out.
This hotel is complete garbage; don’t even bother wasting your money. The staff is extremely rude, the rooms smell like mildew, and when my shower was broken, I attempted to call the front desk, only to discover that the phone in the room was broken as well. I called the front desk from my cell phone, only to be brusquely dismissed. When I went down to the front desk to get another room, they were rude, and didn’t even offer to have someone assist me in moving all of my (now unpacked) bags. I resorted to calling the central customer service line, and they didn’t even bother to apologize, instead stating that they’ll “file a complaint” that would take 5 days. I think the only reason they’re in business is their adjacency to the airport, but I highly recommend you spend your money elsewhere. Perhaps the Motel 8? Would likely be a better experience.
The hotel was great but the experience and service not so great. I attended an amazing conference. There was a lack of staff and support. I waited over an hour for my meals both nights and no one came to clean my room. I love the Westin brand but will not choose to stay at the Airport location. Besides that my time was good and the shrimp and grits when they finally arrived was delicious.
Veryy awful experience my phone was stolen from the valet parking. My car was not broken into, so only the person that had the key (the valet parking worker) can get into it. They did not responsible and even ignored like nothing was happening. No air conditioning in the room and she told me that their electrical person had left, nothing she can do, also no fan available, not even offer the new room, after a few second she said she found a fan and will bring it to the room i…n 10 minutes but they didnt bring the fan until 40 minutes later. It was 1:57am I was so tired, so I accepted whatever, I didn't want to be complicated. But after my phone was stolen, I can not accept it anymore. So unacceptable! Old, outdated, uncleaned, Insecure, noisy, disgusting, the bathroom has no air, the bed room door was not secure. Just unacceptable. The corporate should inspect this hotel. Nobody should be safe to stay in this hotel.
The location could have been better but the airport and runway was in view… just at a distance. Customer service was very inviting, my room was well cleaned and surprising well lit. Great bathroom light fixture as well. My only complaint is the size of the king room. Aside from the bed and a small area to sit there isn't much space, it is a great getaway location if you want simple and semi secluded.
Gorgeous hotel lobby. There's an indoor/outdoor pool and indoor jacuzzi. You have to walk through the gym to get to the pool, which was a little odd. The gym was large and nice. There was a shuttle that was able to take us to restaurants in the area. There's a wine cooler instead of a fridge in the room, but it did the trick to keep my food cold. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean.
Fantastic stay on Saturday March 24, 2018! Beautiful hotel, super friendly and helpful staff, clean, comfortable rooms. I slept the best I have in a long time during our stay. Honestly one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in and I have traveled a lot due to my job. Will definitely be back!
I loved this nice 5 star hotel! The rooms were nice and clean. But the food was delicious, I had Fried Green Tomatoes something I've been wanting and I had delicious shrimp salad. The service was excellent!
The hotel is very good. The service and food was outstanding.
I was traveling for a business trip, had to change hotels last minute and ended up at the Westin. They were very accommodating with my requests, especially given the last minute booking. Hotel was close to the convention center (only 5 minute drive), which was a huge plus. The staff was SUPER friendly and helpful. Amenities were awesome, indoor pool and fitness center. On the downside, parking was 19 dollars a day! Seemed excessive to me. My room was very clean and fairly large. It did get pretty hot and musty, and the thermostat didn't seem to do much to help that. My shower knob was also broken, it was either set to steaming hot or ice cold. Hotel didn't really have many stores or resturaunts within walking distance. Overall I was satisfied and would stay again!
Not in the condition of a Westin Hotel. Renovated in 2009 and it looks like it. Lobby is very nice. Starbucks in room coffee was a perk. But maintenance is in need of improvement. Ready for a renovation. Nothing like other Westin hotels.
We're staying here for the first time for a cheer competition. Our room is large, the lighting in the bathroom is great! We get to watch the airplanes land and take off, but you can't hear them at all from our room on the sixth floor. We needed a few extra towels and had no problem getting them. Overall, a very pleasant experience!
Attended a New Years Eve party. The room was good and the was comfortable. However, parking was horrible. Walking from the parking garage to the hotel with no pedestrian path for safety was no fun. If you need to park, just pay for valet. We arrived at a decent time, but valet was already full.
I was here the same night as the college football championships which pretty much made finding a hotel anywhere in Atlanta an exercise in futility. Luckily the Westin Atlanta airport had some availability and is about 30 min from downtown Atlanta where I needed to be. The airport shuttles are quite a walk from the terminals, but easy to find once you get there. Didn't have to wait long for the Westin shuttle, and it was nice and warm once you got in. The hotel is not the prettiest, but it's airy and not claustrophobic. The check-in process was quick and easy. The lobby was fairly spacious with plenty of seating and meeting areas, as well as a bar / restaurant and a small coffee shop. I didn't really get an upgrade in terms of a room, but it was spacious and comfortable. Bed was your standard Westin heavenly bed, outlets were all around and in a convenient location, and the bathroom was decently sized as well. Standard white tea bath amenities (one of my least favorite bath products), but usable. Internet was usable, but never super quick (like all other hotel chains) The gym was a decent size and had plenty of exercise equipment that have been maintained. Fairly empty at night as well.
We stayed the weekend of New year's Eve, and was a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT AND WASTE OF MONEY. The guy that checked us in was rude and very unfriendly. The swimming pool was freezing cold and the hot tub looked like a science experiment. Our initial room was very nice, but we were made to move our second night due to some sort of reservation confusion on the hotels end after we were ASSURED we would stay in the same room. Our second room stunk of mildew and mold and the HVAC unit did not work properly. The furniture was stained and dirty. The restaurant was never open on New year's Eve day or night, and the bar stopped serving food at midnight… And there was a late night menu in the room that apparently was void. The only helpful and friendly staff was the wait staff. I will NEVER stay here again and have told everyone I know how terrible our stay was.
Very comfortable hotel night. Clean and neat.
Close to the airport.
I would like as an added service, staff who speak also Castilian.
All right.
Very comfortable hotel night. Clean and neat.
Close to the airport.
I would like to serve as a personal added service that speaks Castilian too, and especially if you are only a few hours by or other connecting flight.
All right.
Great hotel! Very good location right near the airport. The room was very comfortable, and the restaurant was nice as well. Definitely recommended!
Went for a hearty breakfast with a friend before boarding a flight for places elsewhere. Buffet was excellent, no fault with service though they could have been more attentive. I'd forgotten that the price of the buffet is eye-wateringly high: $49.60 for two before tip. Still hard to beat The Westin, though.
We stay here every time we visit Atlanta, great experience every time. The staff is so nice, friendly, and helpful. Centrally located and easy access to everywhere in the city. Only con is the cost of room service, definetly more expensive than other hotels. Breakfast for 2 was $60 and we ordered a pot of coffee on a separate occasion for $13. Other than that I would highly recommend this place.
Great place to stay. Wanda the server at the restaurant makes you feel like family. My go to place to stay when I am in Atlanta.
Near the airport but not walkable. Big room. Very nice service. Shuttle handy and regular.
Two hours before my child has a bed… moved my family (3 small kids) all over the place at midnight. After 1am before we had a bed 4 my son. Called corporate since management wasnt helping. Told, "We don't guarantee bed types for point stays" What a way to treat your Gold preferred members. So disappointing. Room smells also and it's the second room we have been moved to as well. So very dissapointed in Westin this time ans SPG for not stepping up to fix it.
I parked my car in the self park looks while flying out of Atlanta on vacation. The price was considerably cheaper than the airport lots. The shuttle service to and from the airport was reliable. The parking lot was secure.
It was very nice the place and the rooms were nice.
Awesome ball rooms for special events. Very clean rooms! Excellent hospitality. Highly recommend this Hotel for all your needs.
Spot hero parking $6 per day! Killer deal in a safe area. Must use the deal online. Highly recommended! They provide shuttles every 15 minutes to the airport. Valet staff is very friendly and informative about parking policies. Will use this service again.
Dirty. First of all this hotel was filthy. The floors throughout the entire hotel looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or even vacuumed in a LONG time. We didn’t even want to sit down in the chair in our room because it was so stained and dirty. Also, one of the main reasons we stayed here was because it had a pool for our kids. When we got there it was closed and out of order which they did not tell us when we made the reservation. They told us they would try to find out why and contact us, first they couldn’t because the 50 year old phone in our room was broke. When we told them, they switched it out but still never got back with us about the pool. This was a $35 hotel — not $175 hotel.
We used this hotel to park and shuttle us to the airport when we flew out of state for a few days. When we got back our car battery had died. The employees had a battery pack and tried to help jump our car off. That unfortunately didn’t work, but as we were standing in the front waiting for someone to pick us up we had so many employees ask us if we needed help and they even checked up to make sure we were okay while waiting for our ride. Great customer service!
Stay away! Rooms may be nice and the staff was for the most part helpful, but they don't care about you. My vehicle was stolen from thier "secured" parking lot. The Police officer even said they remember seeing it. Westin has claimed zero liability and won't even refund my $95 parking pass. They are crooks. Probably a scheme they set up themselves to steal vehicles and profit on them,. Then just turn around and deny liability. Already filed a lawsuit, y'all be careful.
Very good clean hotel comfortable and well presented.
Everyone in the hotel was great. The bed was comfortable.
I have been in business 26 years and have always tried to be polite to everyone. I stayed in your hotel under very stressful times and most definitely didn't find a home away from home atmosphere. The rudest employees in the bar area (Simone) and maid service I have ever had at a hotel. I most definitely will not stay here again, hurricane or not. Also for the room rate it would look like the hotel would have impressive lodging and meals but they are mediocre. We encountered dirty carpet, stained towels & very stingy w/ supplies. On a brighter note, the front desk staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
Had a flight change so stayed at this hotel. The hotel looks super nice inside. Beds are comfortable and most importantly, the pillows are awesome! There's self-parking for a fee and breakfast for a fee. There's a gym but I didn't visit. Room has good lighting. The best part of the room is that there are a whole row of outlets on the nightstand next to the bed! Very considerate design. Would recommand.
I stayed in this hotel for one night when I had an overnight stopover in Atlanta. The shuttle to and from the hotel is very convenient and runs every 15 minutes. The hotel itself is nice and large. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are large enough, and check in was a breeze. There is both a bar and a restaurant downstairs. I went to the bar for dinner and waited way too long to get served. Also the food and drinks were very expensive. For one entree and one drink I paid over $50 after tax and tip. I would recommend the hotel, just know that you'll be spending a lot if you choose to dine there.
I'm here frequently and great staff and service. However I was upset when I found out the menu had changed and that they were no longer doing Mac and cheese. Please bring it back. Or just make some for me… Thanks More… So I'm currently here and it's been a while since I've been able to have breakfast I came here expecting "chicken and waffles" which is what I used to get here in the past. Ms. Pat who was the hostess on duty informed me it's no longer on the menu and that breakfast had changed as well. Ms. Pay was very nice explained that we do offer other options and I was about to turn away and just get something at the airport but it was just something about the way she spoke to me that I decided to stay and sit down. I'm not sure how I feel about this restaurant anymore since 2 of my favorite things are off the menu. I think they should revise it.
Super nice I was asked if we wanted a king very VERY professional atmosphere. Clean rooms I wish I could had stay longer… Next time this BEAUTIFUL hotel will be down in my book to stay when we come through THANK YOU ALL JUST FOR BEING PROFESSIONAL LOVED IT!
It was a short overnight stay. Check in was super easy, wish we were asked if we wanted a King or double beds. Otherwise the room was nice. We even walked down and sat in the hot tub for a while. Not a lot of good places to eat, since the cost to park is $16. Overall nice stay.
I stay here a few times a month for work. Staff is always friendly. Rooms are clean. Restaurant is expensive but above average.
I got a good deal on Priceline, glad it was a 4 star hotel. VERY disappointed upon arrival. The sheets had stains on them, the carpet was coming up in the room and the recliner chair was disgustingly filthy! Stained all over from lord knows what. I usually stay at a Marriott but took a chance this time due to star status… my mistake! The Marriott in Stone Mountain, albeit further away, is soooo much nicer. 2 star hotel at best.
Nice, inexpensive hotel. Excellent for SPG point redemption, but for a hotel out of the city, they still $16 a day for parking which is overpriced in my opinion. Other than that, it was a nice hotel.
Horrible stay at the The Westin Atlanta Airport. Upon check in I was looking for a place to charge my phone and opened the drawer next to the bed and found a USED condom and a bag full of unopened condoms. Promptly called the front desk and they said they would move me — no apology or anything. They did quickly move me to another room and handed me a breakfast coupon for 1 morning for my 3 night stay. I would have checked out except for the fact that a good number of my family members were also staying at this hotel as we were all in town for a wedding. Moved to another room and went on with my business. Last night we were there my husband was in the shower and called me in only to show me that there was a COCKROACH in the shower. I also visited my 92 year old grandmothers room who showed me a glass that was on her bathroom sink that was CLEARLY not clean. This hotel leaves a lot to be desired. It's not what I would expect at a WESTIN property. I would expect this at a 1-star motel — not a 4-star. (I have pictures if anyone would care to see them).
A hotel that is very beautiful and I very much loved the service, the room was an unforgettable experience I would love to be able to be there again on vacation.
Above all I love the room. Primarily for business topics.
The Westin was amazing. Room beds seemed more comfortable than normal and the rooms (mine was a double) felt very spacious, with a window overlooking the lobby. Wait staff was attentive and hardworking (I felt so bad whenever they did something for me). The location is great; mere minutes from both the World of Coca Cola and the Civil Rights. Museum.
Excellent room service. Clean prestine rooms. Excellent customer service. Breakfast buffet was good and hot food. Felt like I was a movie star.
Be prepared to pay $16 for parking that is not close to the hotel entrance and oncoming doors are not equipt with automatic open. You will be treking your luggage up two sets of stairs through a hallway on the way to the lobby. Don't forget your parking ticket in your car because you need to pay it at the lobby. You won't see signs for that until you've walked your luggage to the entry way of the tunnel. Rooms are great and clean. Could not be happier with the décor. Lobby is grand and modern.
The hotel was ok, but the breakfast buffet was way overly priced and the staff was less thn desirable. One in particular was a brown skin lady with blonde cornrows; just nasty for no reason. Prior to that, we were checking in and the lady barely acknowledged us for 10min as we sat there exhausted waiting to get our rooms. If they hired better kinder staff than Id rate this hotel a tad higher.
The room was nice and the folks were friendly but that's the only thing positive about this hotel. I had to call hotel service every day to get more than 2 towels (with 4 people). The soap in our room was not changed between guests. We were here as part of a youth sport event and free breakfast was supposed to be included. The hotel set up a separate "buffet" line for our children that only had cereal and muffins. When asked where we could get the protein they needed before playing attended just pointed at the real buffet and said "$17". Parking was also included in our price but regular rate is $18/day. This just makes me mad. This is not a shared lot but a lot that belongs to only this hotel. There are not enough spaces so a few times I had to drive around until someone left. While all the staff was very friendly, every one of them spoke heavily accented English that was difficult to understand, we had to ask for clarification more than one for simple questions like where can we find the luggage cart. The TV's are tiny compared to even the microtel. We stay in hotels about 15 weekends per year for these sporting events and this is by far the worst experience we have ever had.
The place was very dirty. I found a pair of pants in the room and I couldn't sleep well because the walls were made of paper.
This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. First of all I called ahead a requested a high floor and inquired about an upgrade which I was willing to pay for. The staff member on the phone told me it wouldn't be a problem, when I go there it was another story. I was given a room on the 3rd floor where my view was the building shutters. The room was just basic, I've stayed at Best Westerns and 2 star hotels that were more lavish. The lobby area was nicer than the room. Another issue was out of 10 television stations 5 were completely blacked out, I was limited to Sports channels my whole stay. Not to mention the $16 a day parking in the hotels lot, for my guest and I that was an additional $100 that we didn't plan for. The front desk staff was not nice or accommodating, they lied and said they were full after a staff member told me they were only at 5% capacity. I would never stay there ever again, it ruined my whole birthday experience. The Westin SUCKS!
We enjoyed the room and view very much. The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly. Getting checked is a bit difficult since the entry road is so narrow and clogged with shuttles. Parking is a ridiculous price but on par with any other hotel in the area. The elevators were clean and worked very well. The thermostat in the room was not accurate since it was set on 69F and we were very warm, I lowered it to 65F and in the morning stepping out of the shower I was still comfortable so there is no way it was 65F. Linens were clean and the bed was very soft. In the room they provide a recycle ♻ bin as well as garbage which is the first I have seen and I appreciate that. The shower had plenty of hot water and had a square rain head that provided good volume for me but may be lacking for those with longer hair. I would recommend and return to this hotel.
Not my favorite Westin, it's always packed and noisy, so it's not been the quietest night of sleep the few times I've been there. It is by the busiest airport in the world, and they have a shuttle, so it's as convenient as it comes. The bar and lounge is decent and the food has always been pretty good. Normally a review like this would get 4 stars from me, but I'm basing the 3 stars on the fact that I seem to have had very noisy neighbors the few times I've stayed which did not get addressed or controlled by the hotel staff. Also I stood at the shuttle stop the last time, waiting with another guy who was headed there and watched the shuttle literally drive right by without stopping. I called the hotel and complained and the driver blatantly lied and said he stopped for a few minutes, waited and left because no one was there. Myself and the other guest obviously disagreed, we had been there at least 5 minutes waiting and even described what the driver looked like because we watched him drive by us. If you're looking for close and convenient, I'd still recommend it.
Hotel was nice and modern. Parking is not included in prices. Another $16. Very close to airport and shuttle is prompt.
Soft beds, great staff, great retaurant. Nothing else around this hotel though. Can be a dangerous place to walk around as well.
I visited the Westin Atlanta Airport 8/7 thru 8/9 and it was one of the worst experiences I have had in a hotel. We arrived at 2:30pm on 8/7 and walking through the lobby with my 12 year old daughter a women at the bar had her whole dress top down and her boobs hanging out for everyone to see. That is great for a 12 year old to see and I had to explain that she was obviously drunk. Then we were assigned a room 303 that smelled like smoke which we asked for a non-smoking room and the A/C was not working. The chair in the room was filthy as well. The Carpets in the hotel need to be replaced. They did switch our room right away which I am very thankful of. We were there with a bunch of soccer teams which they were to provide us with breakfast in the morning and they gave us pastries which were drenched in water and soggy and cereal that a 12 year would not eat. Needless to say I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Just one more note they do not have a laundry room in this hotel as well which really went over well with the parents of soccer kids playing tournaments for two days. Stay with caution.
What DID I LIKE? It was pretty. That is all that was good. The pillows were pancake thin, the comforter was dirty when we got to the room. The food in the hotel was extremely expensive and didn't taste very good.
The hotel was cleaner than it had been on previous stays. When I checked out I forgot an item in my room. When I called back to see if someone could secured, I was fast talked and thw rep acted as if she didnt care. Ruse. the rep acted like they didnt cae.
Disgusting. Dirty building outside, dirty carpet inside. Rooms smell like stale cigarettes. Even though they say its a non smoking hotel. Dirty bed spread. Don't stay here.
Rude. Overpriced. Dilapidated. Came into my room while do not disturb was up. Charged double for valet, on an occasion. Told to "go sit down" by the mgr on duty. Antagonized immensely by concierge. now seeking counsel. I wanna take the time to thank myself for being a starwood perversed guest.
The tiny shuttles they use are shared with sheraton. Supposedly every 15 minutes. But it does not fit all the people! I had to wait More than an hour! The management team needs to think about a strategy to detect and deal with this kind of situation. I cannot imagine this is a special night — It is just a Monday.
I have no complaints at all. Rooms were very nice clean and cozy. Very clean bathroom with beautiful white plush towels green tea leaf shaped soap. Bed was extra soft and comfortable. Omg the pillows where so soft soon as you lay your head it was like laying on soft puffy fluffy clouds. The TV. Setting was amazing with movie channels. Room service was very nice on time and food was great. Parking attendants treat you with the up most respect like your a celebrity getting out of your car. Air conditioning felt wonderful. Weston Hotel I give Five Stars Very Upscale I recommend Anyone To Stay There. Every time I visit Atlanta this will be the hotel where me and my family stay. Lovveit! ****.
Beautiful place. Very fine. Bella vista. The sun dial is. Maximum.
The outside of the hotel looks dated but the inside and rooms are well maintained and modern. Internet was free but brought my own service for speed and security. Beware this hotel charges $16 a day for parking in there no security lot. I expect to pay in downtown Atlanta but this hotel is in an area with many other low rise hotels with free parking.
This hotel was 'ok'. The horrible free-internet and cell coverage was the worst feature. I didn't have a car because I was there for a conference and the hotel restaurant (Palio) was unimpressive. Overall the room was very nice though and the bed was awesome. So it could have been a lot worse. PROS: Clean and beautiful rooms and hotel Nice desk and chairs in room Nice TV Very nice beds Free airport shuttle CONS: Free internet was horrible in rooms and conference areas Hotel restaurant is expensive/unimpressive and it was hard to find good food delivery No exhaust fan in my room's bathroom.
Nice stay. Relaxing spa and pool. Nice meal at restaurant. Comfy room. Staff responded quickly to our requests for help with transport, minor plumbing issue.
The hotel has great value and otherwise is in a convenient location. The room was comfortable and the hotel was a good place to have a conference. The catering from the hotel was great. The staff was usually helpful, but disappointed me at the end. Someone called and woke me to "confirm" my departure time (when I had confirmed and paid the night before). They were unapologetic about this. When I mentioned this to the front-desk staff at checkout, that I was sleeping before my long drive, they did not even acknowledge my complaint. A simple "sorry" would have been enough. Everything else was acceptable. If I have to come back in the future, I will pay a little extra for a little more hospitality (which should be standard in any hotel).
We checked into this hotel as a place to stay close to the airport. When we checked in we were assigned room 861. We went to our room, it was ok. There was a slice down the TV screen, the vent in the shower was extremely dirty, and under our blankets, although it appeared clean, there were glittery stars — so the cleanliness is kind of questionable. The pillows were VERY flat. I went downstairs to request more (after attempting to ask a housekeeper who didnt speak english) and they told me they were out of pillows. It's a hotel. Seriously? Plus, one floor was closed for renovations. What about those pillows? Anyways, we order room service and when they picked up the phone they addressed us by name and agreed to deliver the food to room 861. Food came. All is good. However. We go to sleep around 10:30PM because we have to be out of the hotel around 4AM for a flight. And our phone begins ringing, not once, not twice, but three separate times during the night. We answered each and every time but it wasn't sufficient I guess? I also heard someone trying to get in the room. When checking out in the morning I ask why we were incessantly called all night. The man at the desk claims we were in room 863. Even though we went to room 861 (never had 863 in our minds), our card holder had 861 written on it, and room service delivered to 861.
