I was having a wonderful experience with the hotel until I came back from a family wedding and there was a storm there were no lights in my room pitch black understand the storm knocked out the power but should have a back up generator so went to sleep woke up to power on tried to watch some TV not working go down to the front desk they say all systems our down should be on about a hour or too never came back on just a terrible night for me and my family!

This is the cleanest hotel ever!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in January! We were attending my son’s awards ceremony with his business. Everything was great from the room to the room service to the restaurant to the front desk.
A snafu occurred with our parking and I contacted the hotel and the matter was resolved practically overnight.

This hotel took great care of my newlywed children on Sunday before their trip to Los Angeles. They were leaving their car at the hotel Last night as they traveled back from LAX on the redeye the weather was very threatening and I called the hotel and reservation systems and they were able to book a room for them for this morning with the earliest check in time ever 8:00 a. M.! They are currently taking a nap before traveling home. Thank you Marriott for your graciousness!

Although I did experience some not so favorable moments while staying at this Marriott (Sept. 21-Sept. 28) my overall outlook about the hotel and staff was completely turned around after speaking with the At Your Service Agent Helen and one of the managers Van. They both were very helpful and took the time out to listen to my concerns and not just brush it off like some of the other staff members I spoke with. I want to thank both of them for going above and beyond in their service. Also the concierge attendant Jo Ann was amazing.

This hotel we just stayed there 9/8 and 9/9 2018 My stay was not up to standard. The beds were too small and the rooms wasn't up to standard. The room didn't have a microwave and did not offer comp. Breakfast. For the money we paid for two night wasn't worth it. I rate this hotel a 1.

The decor was appealing. One of the best gift shops in any of the Marriott hotels I've been too. The gym was nice too. The breakfast buffet was set up nicely but not worth $18.

This place is AMAZING. If he is avaliable as for "Jay", he is the very best front desk attendant in Marriott History! The food is great bu5 overpriced. Your better off getting delivery or going to the Airport on the shuttle and bringing back something to eat for your stay. The pool is amazing and the rooms are even nicer. Amazing views and modern nice rooms. 5 stars all the way!

As a platinum at Marriott, this most recent stay at the the Atlanta Marriott on Best Road will be my last at a Marriott property as I am moving my business to Hilton. A friend and colleague fell on this property and was injured very badly. I booked a room myself so I could be close to her and provide support that she wasn’t getting at the hotel. The hotel refused to honor a corporate discount, even after the request was escalated to the Operations Manager & General Manager of the property; simply advised they could not override the system — not empowered to do so. Their restaurant menu was also very limited for a customer with food allergies. What a terrible experience; terrible customer service all around!

Great hotel would have been a 5 star. The only reason lower was housekeeping came knocking at 8:30, checking to see if we had checked out. Not 5 star service. The rest of the hotel is great. Be aware of parking cost.

He staff was very nice and I liked that room service was 24 hours. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were modern looking. The restaurant food was very good. I enjoyed my stay here. I will definitely return.

This review is for Lucy and Christopher, 2 staff members in the dining area of the hotel. They went above and beyond to make me comfortable after the main front desk staff had not provided adequate customer service this morning. If I were to review the their front desk staff this morning, the Downtown Marriott and the Customer Service Help Line, it would not have been as favorable. They oversold our rooms and shuffled us out 45 min away to this hotel. However, this Marriott had beautiful rooms and was very comfortable. The front desk staff at night were great, the ones in the morning were not helpful at all. Breakfast was to have been arranged as complimentary based on the inconvenience and they did not honor it. Lucy stepped in to make it right and I appreciate it. She and Christopher exhibited wonderful customer service. Some of the other staff could benefit from some hospitality training to get up to their level.

First time here with my family for a wedding. Just arrived this evening and only dropped off my bags and checked in, before heading off to do a little sight seeing. My husband and I noticed a Starbucks in the hotel and couldn’t wait to get some coffee. Unfortunately, there was this very, very rude and disrespectful male Barista. I asked him for 2 grande Pike’s Place with steamed skim milk. Unfortunately, he missed the skim milk for mine, so my husband requested that he make me some steamed skim milk to add to my coffee, so he slams the container with the now cooked skim milk in the counter and yelled to me to “help myself”. At that point, I asked for a refund. He began yelling and telling me that I was being silly about my order and that he was going to get his manager over to tell him how stupid I was for wanting him to make me a new coffee or for me asking for a refund. He went in to tell me that I as not educated on what steamed milk looked like with the froth. He then spills coffee all over the counter and began yelling that he was tired of people telling him that he had an attitude and that he was having a very emotional day. Thankfully, the manager Mr. Nathan Lewis came over and demanded him to stop talking and he profoundly apologized for the Barista’s behavior and promised that he would take care of the situation. I am a very loyal customer of Starbucks and have never been treated this way in any place of business.

The guest rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. Beautiful view of Atlanta. The front desk and restaurant associates are welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel. Exceptional customer service and amenities.

My room had a nice updated decor over looking the pool. However the temperature in my room was 77 degrees. Management sent maintenance to look at it but it never dropped below 74 even though the thermostat was changed it to 66. It was so warm I slept at the foot of the bed trying to be in the air stream and did not use a top sheet.

I attended a professional event at the hotel. The location wasn't the easiest to get to (lots of interchanges) but I'm sure it's a snap for airport guests. The breakfast buffet was quite good, considering the small size of offerings. Staff was friendly for the most part — — any staff helping with the event was great, but there were a few sour experiences in the dining area. The actual event space was great. Huge room, comfortable temperature, adequate desk and seating accomodations. Parking lot is quite small and very expensive.

Great gym. Lots of treadmills, free weights and machines. Room was very updated and modern. Air conditioning was nice and cold as was thr in-room refrigerator. Microwave available at the end of hall on three of the four floors. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The rooms are convenient, comfortable, and neat. There aren't microwaves in the rooms, but there are mini refrigerators and coffee makers. There is an indoor/outdoor pool, fitness room, and patio furniture. Adjoining rooms can be requested, which is helpful when traveling with children. The parking is a bit of a pain, and the food at the bistro is mediocre, but overall great experience. The shuttles to/from the airport is extremely convenient.

Nice Marriott to stay. Best part was the Gym. Earlier available pictures don’t explains the gym so I tried to take few gym and pool pics in detail. The lounge is small and nothing special and very ordinary. The resturant on ground floor is good. Like the fact that there is Starbucks in there.

I am a gold rewards member that stayed in Room 661 on May 7 2018. Upon entering the room I noticed the sheets appeared to be wrinkled from the previous occupant. I inspected the bed further and noticed 3 bed bugs. I requested and was granted a room change. I was also awarded some reward points which I'm not even sure would cover one nights stay at a hotel. Before posting anything, I filed a formal complaint with @marriott with the hopes they would address the issue appropriately. I received an email a day later from the GM apologizing for the inconvenience, that the issue was being addressed, and to consider staying in the future. I am in business and this is about as bad as it gets when it comes to customer service. There are plenty of hotel chains out there. Look elsewhere.

I stayed here for a club trip and I was very pleased. The hotel was very nice and maintained. I really loved the view from my room. My only complaint was that the bathroom doors did not have locks, which is very unfortunate when sharing a room with other people. Other than that I enjoyed my stay.

I received a room voucher from the airport because of a canceled flight. The hotel charged my card anyway, causing my account to be overdrawn and me receiving a $50 fee. Did they offer to give me a free meal? Take off the $4 charge I had for leaving my breakfast server a tip? No. They offered nothing. I had a terrible experience here and would not recommend it to anyone!

This is probably one the best hotels I've stayed in Atlanta. The restaurant has great food and service. The gym is clean, will equipped and up to date. The buffet chef is great… Belgium waffles and custom eggs and omelettes… you can't go wrong.

Yes! Good Standard Hotel! Everything's normal! Room OK, restaurant ect all good! But just good standard! No wow effect. But you can certainly book it.

This is an amazing hotel. Great customer service. Delicious food. Absolutely beautiful decor. Comfortable rooms and a club lounge to rival any local restaurant/bar. Definitely top notch. If you are in the Atlanta area, you should consider staying here.

The rooms, the staff, and the food were all great. I would recommend this place to a friend. A lot of planes fly by, but you don't even hear them.

Excellent hotel accommodations, comfortable beds and bedding, very nice restuarant and bar. Valet and self parking for a fee. Convention room. Nice hotel for conventions and gatherings. Roller skaters convene for skate parties.

This is an older Marriott property, but they are trying to update the aesthetic. I could hear construction noise throughout my stay… Maybe it was just my room or because of my location on the 11th floor… Still, the rooms are modern, and the beds are of typical Marriott quality. When I first checked in for a 3-day company event, I noticed that the tub in my room was dirty (with stains which could easily be wiped with a Kleenex, however that isn’t my job) and called the front desk. They were extremely helpful in letting me know that someone would arrive shortly, but the woman who arrived made it clear upon seeing me that she was unhappy to have been summoned. Anyway, she cleaned it, and I was just happy to have a clean place to shower. The rest of the staff were aboveboard gracious and helpful — from Sheila who provided stellar service at our luncheon to Baron who calmly manned the crowded bar at our dinner event. There were others who stood out, as well. Overall, the location is okay if you need accommodations or a meeting space with all the bells and whistles (full meals, snacks and beverage service) under a certain budget or near the airport. (Okay, it IS kind of cool watching planes go by from my window. )

Fantastic rooms… linens and pillows that keep you sleepy updated hardwood floors in room and new furniture. Plenty of power outlets on nightstand near the bed which is great. Even showers are great with oversized shower head and heavy water pressure. Starbucks store in lobby… very nice hotel.

I went to a convention hair with Gideon's promise. The staff were very friendly and helpful and walked me to wherever I needed to go. They had some wonderful hot apple cider that really helped keep my hands and core warm on a cold day.

Loved this hotel. Very nice, clean and homey. I'd definitely stay again or recommend to anyone visiting. It's very close to the airport as well. Less than 10 mins for me which is awesome when you have to get up early for a flight the next morning.

I've attended many events at this location. It's always been a great place. Location is perfect, facility is five star and the staff is amazing. Can't think of anything that I'd change.

This bar cannot handle large crowds which is ridiculous given it's a hotel located next door to the busiest airport in the world. The bartenders are RUDE. The drinks are just okay considering the price. I watched a bartender continue to serve a drunk and belligerent patron until another patron complained and asked for security. The bartender then fixed him a to go cup of wine and coached him on an appropriate tip for his bill to give before sending him away. Irresponsible and reprehensible. Meanwhile same bartender was RUDE TO all other patrons and disappeared for periods of time in the hour block we were at the bar. We had one drink and left to our rooms due to the poor service.

I enjoyed the customer service and amenities. The food & drinks are really good at the bar. The conference rooms are very nice. The hotel room was very nice, especially the bathroom setup. Great hotel!

Jay was very helpful in getting me and my party booked and comfortable. The morning buffet is delicious with made to order omelettes and banana fosters French toast. Robin gave us excellent service each morning. Looking forward to staying here for my next ATL visit.

Very pleased overall with this property. This property has recently had a complete renovation. The new lobby and rooms are nice and comfortable, well appointed and nicely lite. As far as the rooms, they are clean and comfortable. The only issue I had is that they chose to do laminate floors instead of carpet. While a nice touch, I was not happy with having to wipe my feet constantly or be careful when dressing not to drag my pant legs on the floor. More care is definitely needed on this area. In regards to food and beverage, this property offers a few different restaurants to choose from and a Starbucks. All offer delicious food options that are well priced, tasty and beautifully presented. I must give props to the friendly and courteous staff. The fitness center is large with many machine and free weights and is well cared for in all respects. Lastly, the property offers free Wi-Fi in the lobby and rooms. I was very pleased with the access and speed and did not run into dead areas at any time. As a business traveler this was bonus point for me.

Super clean and very modern. The bed was super comfy, and the sheets were crisp. The ladies at the front desk were super nice. I did notice that the restaurant/bar was packed and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I had to get up early so I went to bed, but would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Very nice. Clean, modern rooms; nice bar and a bourbon bar as well; food is very tasty and the bar Servers-Monica and Renika-were a treat! The only issue: the walls are thin. I could hear my neighbor breathing during the night — not snoring… just breathing. Not a big deal, I know.

This is a great hotel, reasonably priced, good inexpensive food in their Bistro. Marriot definetly competes well when it comes to accommodations. The staff here is very freindly and helpful especially the desk staff, bell staff and valet personnel. This is a best choice to stay.

They've done some renovations since I was here last, and it's very nice! The rooms have a modern feel. Comfortable beds, comfortable space. There's a nice sized gym and the restaurant is good. It's a very pleasant stay!

Enjoyed my time there with my brothers and sisters. Beds were so comfortable. Slept like a baby. Needed more space to store clothes. Dining area served great food. I was not disappointed at all with that. Southern fried chicken was great!

The staff was great, very professional and kind. Staff greets you as you enter each day. Nice selection of restaurants, great sitting areas to sit, relax and talk. Room was clean, balcony over looked the pool. Great experience.

Great friendly polite staff once we arrived. The shuttle from the airport took a very long time getting there — 30minutes wait at minimum. The shuttle ride was short 10-12 min. The hotels seems to have recently renovated their rooms. It is very comfortable. The food here is also great. I had the fried chicken platter which was more than I could finish. Room pictures below. Oh I love that they have Netflix too.

Very well situated in proximity to Atlanta airport. The hotel is tastefully furnished and decorated in the public areas with the feel of open space and a relaxing ambience. The staff are very friendly and the Starbucks coffee shop offers amazing sandwiches and an extremely memorable chef's salad.

Stayed for a convention, the rooms are very modern and clean. There's a pool and gym. Even two restaurants and a Starbucks. I really enjoyed the convenient location and the shuttle service to the airport. The price for everything is reasonable for the area. It's really in College Park but you are less than 30 minutes away from downtown Atlanta.

The rooms and facilities are very nice. The location is odd in that it's tucked away off the main road, but that isn't a huge deal. It just means that you arent close to very many dining options. The parking is the biggest nuisance. The gates all over the place and having to use a card all the time are a hassle. That's probably inevitable given its proximity to the airport though.

This is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, quick service, and 5 elevators means minimal waiting time. But I had a hard time sleeping because of what sounded like a lawnmower starting up every 5 minutes — all night long. I was on the top floor, so maybe it had something to do with mechanical equipment. Additionally, my TV screen was rather dark, and I couldn't adjust it.

Adjoining rooms. One room was ready upon arrival, around 2:00 pm. Dropped our luggage in cleaned room and was told I would get a phone call to confirm when a adjoining room was ready. Never got a phone call, went back to the front desk two times before being told that a dog had and accident and they were still shampooing the room. Pets aren't allowed. Either way they never called to let me know that we would have to switch rooms… It was after five. I had to be late for the event I was in Atlanta for in the first place to meet the bellhop to gather all of our belongings… Load them and move. Which was alot considering I was traveling with two children. You have to request a mini fridge… Seriously? Free Wi-Fi is slow. Rooms are totally outdated and small. Pool area offered room service by calling from a phone, phone did not work. When I FINALLY got someone to understand that the phone wasn't working They took our order. The prices were high and the food was disgusting. 64 bucks for two cheeseburgers and chicken strips and the kids didn't even eat them. I tried them, I wouldn't have eaten it either. Would have loved to complain but I didt feel like taking another forty five minutes trying to communicate with a foreign woman who spoke little to no English. 16 bucks a day to self Park and walk a very long way. They say you get what you pay for, well I was way overcharged for my crap visit. Would never ever stay here again.

Below average for a Marriott. The staff overall was friendly, although the waiters at the restaurant seemed brusque. The lounge had shortened breakfast hours compared to what was posted. The refrigerators were removed and the ice machine on my floor was broken. Obviously proximity to the airport was a plus.

The room was clean and spacious. The food was a bit pricey, but I love the options and sushi bar. The employees were helpful though some of them were new. I will definitely be staying here again.

Their customer service and accommodations are amazing. The staff are well informed. The breakfast area was always filled with fresh fruits, French toast and other valuable items. They have a live chef to make omelettes and eggs of choice. Their Concierge lounge is one of the best I've experienced. I've stayed here a few times and have never had A complaint.

Stuck in Atlanta because of terrible weather. The hotel was nice. The beds were comfy. The pillows were not down which was a super good thing for me. The hotel staff were super understanding and friendly. The only reason it's not five stars is the room service ends before the restaurant in the lobby closes. I wanted to eat in peace in my room and was, not able to do so. The restaurant staff were very kind and made me feel comfy. Atlanta is the best place to be stranded. Good old southern comfort food and hospitality.

Good hotel, free transportation to the airport. Here for an APCA conference. Employees for the most part are great. There was one at the diner that never checked up on us. There is a Starbucks in the hotel which is awesome for in the morning.

Nice facility with very comfortable rooms, pleasant staff. Was not impressed with the water bottle in the room and accompanying note that if it was consumed a four dollar charge would be added to the bill, and that was the only item in the room with that type of notice.

Would have given in 5 stars if there was a kiosk or simple area in front to help speed up the check-in process, as my hubby and I were really exhausted after international travel and we confirmed the reservation earlier in another city on the phone with a Marriott rep. They did have 4 people behind the counter and it was amazing to see so many people UP and buzzing at 1:30 in the morning. Our room was large and spacious, never turned on the TV, no need, but the room had lots of electrical outlets and was ready for our gadgets. The bed was soft and comfortable and the air conditioner was awesome, as we could crank it down to a very comfortable room temperature. The bathroom was fine, the Thann products were great, and the shower was the best part. That was the best shower we had in 2 weeks. You always know what to expect from Marriott, they are not perfect, but they work to always do better. Again, kiosk for express check-in would have been better. Shuttle to airport was great too during the day light hours.

Clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff, quick check in/check out. Wifi is slow, pool was cold and no life guard. Food is expensive $8 for a kids burger, $14 for an adult. Self parking is an additional $16 a day but not enough spaces close to the building with only a handful of handicap spaces. Valet is $20/day. You have to use your key to get in and out of the parking lot but it doesn't work so you have to constantly push the intercom to get assistance. I paid 286 for Friday through Sunday night, extended one day and was charged another $270! Nothing is in walking distance to the hotel.

Employees are very friendly and helpful, booked a double bed in May tonight is July (and my girlfriend and I neither one is gay) have to sleep in a Queen size bed. I called the front desk and spoke to a gentleman, he stated they were 100% booked and they apologized. I requested some compensation they stated NO, service sucks at Best Rd Marriott, Atlanta GA!

I have stayed here a few times now, and everything is great! Beds are fantastic! Pool and workout room are good to spend some time in. Service here is very friendly.

We checked in quickly after a long drive. There was not enough hot water to even have a hot shower. They came to fix it promptly and explained the situation but the opportunity had past.

Was very impressed with the courtesy of the staff. A young man named Keith who worked in valet parking went out of his way to accomodate us.

I must say I never write reviews but the employees very helpful. Great place super clean, if I am ever back in Atlanta will stay again.

— Astonishingly, they want to charge $12.95 per day for internet that apparently works, since their "free" internet certainly does not. Even lower end hotels have free Wi-Fi! I am incredulous that they cannot provide even this basic service to guests. — accommodations neat and clean, although my room was missing the little table beside the chair by the window. — friendly helpful staff. — pillows like marshmallows, comfortable bed. I am disappointed that this hotel cannot be bothered to provide a very basic service both for leisure and business travelers such as internet.

Nice hotel for a guy on a business trip, but not a place I'll go again with my wife. Hotel had men's soaps in the bathroom, not exactly a scent my wife enjoyed. The TV channels were heavy on sports channels, very bad selection for women friendly stations. Indoor pool was too cold for us to enjoy. Room was nice, but small. Wifi not free, and slow.

Without these finishing car. Marta and the buses from the hotel are good. You arrive in the northern part, but apparently this area here is not so sure. That is what they say. It was an excellent outside all week.
