Great receptionist/front desk/hostess! Makes the stay much better!

The staff was very friendly from Jeffery at the front desk, to the staff in housekeeping. My family and I had a great time. The pool area was very clean and neat they a great time every evening. Can’t wait until my next visit!

Great bar, friendly staff. Only down side is the rooms still have the smoke smell. So for a nonsmoker it was a bit much.

Great staff… Very helpful and personable. My mother just had surgery at Emory and they went out of the way to help and accomodate her… Made for a nice stay… Loved the excellent water pressure in the shower too… A very welcome amenity…

I had absolutely no problems. Staff was nice and friendly. Cleaning service was friendly as well. Room was nicer than I expected. Location is cool. Only 10-15 mins away from Downtown Atlanta and all major activities. I would return to this hotel.

This hotel is good. The shuttle service (hourly) is really helpful. A big shout out to Keith who was really helpful, jolly, and a really nice person. The cleaning service was great. The hotel provide ps bottled water, coffee, muffins, snack bars, chips, pretzels, cookies, fruits etc. All through out the day. I would recommend staying here. However, one front desk lady was not helpful. She had an attitude. And when the fire alarm went off outside and we went downstairs to ask, she literally laughed. There will be a few times the front desk doesn’t picks up the phone. But overall it was a fine experience.

Stayed here twice and I will continue to stay here in the future. If you get Sylvia working the front desk when you check in/out you’re going to have an easy and pleasant experience, truly a kind woman. The rooms have been spotless both times and has plenty of food delivery options available through GrubHub.

My bf came to visit me and we stayed here for a night and as soon as we walked in KERRY greeted us and was extremely nice! I recommend this place to anyone! Service is amazing breakfast was awesome and whatever you need FRONT DESK takes care it with NO problem!

The room was awesome, it seemed to be recently upgraded. The Hilton Honors floor was really nice as well; there were free snacks on the floor and every room had bottled water. Shout out to Slyvia at the desk for being so warm and welcoming. She remembered my name every time she saw me! I'd love to go back.

I stayed at the DoubleTree N. Druid Hills for two weeks. I will have to say that the staff was PHENOMENAL! The fact that I was at the hotel for so long, they truly treated me like family and accommodated to ALL my needs! The staff was very helpful in familiarizing myself with the area, and there was no such thing as "small talk". Everyone who came in/out of there was greeted as though they were family or long time friends. Whether day or evening ALL the staff made my stay warm and enjoyable! I would definitely recommend staying at the DoubleTree N. Druid Hills if you are in the area, especially for long stays! Look forward to seeing the staff AGAIN!

Great hotel near the Buckhead area. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend.

Just because I cannot give 0 star. Horrible experience. Front staff is horrible. Made my stay miserable. I left the hotel the second day. Sylvia at the front was the worst person ever. She was rude during check in. She kept calling me sweetie pretending to be cute but she just made it look so cheap. I hope I never get to stay at this hotel again. I will never recommend this hotel to my coworkers or family friends. It is just ghetto…

Overall it was good. The bar does not have bar food, only offers regular menu from restaurant. Hotel could not get temp lower then 74. We were there 3 days and never got room to 68.

Everything was great except the lobby, rooms, and dining area were all at 74 degrees. We tried for three days to get out room to 68. No go.

Room was clean and staff was friendly! We had a rental car, so getting around was easy for us. There is a train station about nine minutes away where you can park for free and take the train into town. We would stay here again!

Loved this hotel! Wonderful staff is friendly and inviting every time you walk in. Easy to get to and a nice central spot to get around from. Staff was quick to answer our questions and never left us unsure. Gas station next door too! Easy to maneuver parking lot.

Absolutely disgraceful. I called because I know the Hilton policy on age check in but couldn’t hurt to ask if my daughter could check in (18) before me because she would arrive earlier. So then the associate told me yes. So obviously I was shocked and excited so I proceed to make reservations. I booked the hotel and I called to make sure everything was correct and the manager then tells me that that is not correct. I am beyond pissed. Educate you employees before they answer the phone and give false information and waste people time because if I did not call back then my daughter would have been sitting in a lobby for over 10+ hours. Incompetence at its finest.

We received absolutely horrible service. We paid through hotwire for 3 nights upon check in we learned they had given our room away. And then after being told that the situation would be fixed it was bot fixed it took me having to call hotwire and raising heck to get it corrected. I would recommend never choosing this hotel.

Newly renovated. We stayed in the hhonors floor and our room was roomy and nice. Big plus for us was that they had an accessible hhonors room!

Ok. A little outdated. Breakfast cafe was good with a small menu. Service was friendly.

Customer service was beyond excellent. I won't be staying anywhere but the Double Tree when I visit Atlanta. The manager Clarence and Sylvia were one of a kind.

The hotel was clean and nice. The amenities were not standard, water was provided per stay so you'll have to buy it later. Vanity kits were not provided but the rest was okay.

Great stay not to far from many resteraunts and places to go. Had a great time! Breakfast in the morning had a wide variety of choices and made to order omelettes. Hilton honors members get some good perks.

For the price, it's not bad at all. The room was small but clean, and the staff I encountered were very friendly. The continental breakfast was pretty good, and it had a nice entrance area/lobby!

Could not have had a better experience here. The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms were a bit small, but still very nice and clean. I highly recommend staying here.

There was ample parking space and can be reached easily. Staff was friendly and the food in the Metro restaurant was delicious. (Had the signature metro burger). The room was spacious and clean. Only problem was the noise coming into the room. The walls are very thin so the sound of the nearby ice vending machine even cancelled out the noise from the airconditioning. In addition I could here normal conversation from the neighbours. I would advice to take a room away from the vending machines.

The room was comfortable and the air conditioner worked great. The digital key was not working but they made me a regular key and it worked fine. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant but the coffee in the morning was nice. All in all a great stay and very courteous staff.

The hotel was great. The room was clean and very comfortable. The fitness center was great, except they ran out of ear buds and had not stocked towels by 6 AM. The hotel staff were very friendly.

Always pleased with DoubleTree. The single queen room is small but extremely comfortable. Staff is pleasant. Rooms are clean and very well equipped with iron, blow dryer, coffee pot, microwave, fridge, etc. The water pressure is fantastic and the massage shower head is great. There is a workout room and pool which I love having available to use. The rates are extremely reasonable for this area in a nice hotel. LOVE IT! WARNING: Never order water or tea with dinner. Water is $4.50 and Tea is $3.50 which is stupid. I've removed 1 star just for this stupidity. This bottle of water that is $4.50 is the same complementary bottles delivered to your room for free.

I have had the great pleasure of staying at the double tree hotel during many active duty tours around the country and have always been well received. Which is why this most recent experience is both disturbing and hurtful. My girlfriend and I arrived at 1:30 am at the double tree hotel located at 2061 N Druid Hills Rd Atlanta, Ga 30329. Tired from our travel, we were received a very cold welcome from Robert, a slender black male with facial hair. He quickly informed us that we would need to pay for the previous night in order to be accommodated due to the check-in policy. We told him we understood. I asked him what the current rates were and was given a quote. When I asked him if there was a military discounted rate he snapped that per corporate policy there was not one. I informed him that this was odd, because I’d called the double tree home on military orders and received a discount. He informed me that “this is a franchise. So it’s different. ” My girlfriend and I stepped aside to cancel the original reservation with hotwire before booking for again. During which time I noticed him treat another male guest with substantially more warmth. It was then I begin to feel he was discriminating because we are an LGBT couple. When we returned to the counter Robert, equally as cold, sneered at us that he was originally “going to work with you until your girlfriend started asking my questions like I didn’t know what I was talking about”.

The worst DoubleTree I have ever stay in. We stayed at this hotel for a girls' night out Sat Apr 23-Sun Apr 24, 2016. From the rip, we had issues with our room. The door would not open. Had to have the technician come and open the door. From that point forward if we had to leave and come back in the door, we had to force it with our bodies to get it open. Then, it would not close all the way once you got it open. So, you had to force it closed. The buttons on the light fixtures halfway worked. You had to be Incredible Hulk to press the buttons to get the lights on and off. There were roaches in our room. I woke up to get in the shower and there he was crawling up the wall. Lastly, the shower did not work. Had to call another technician to come and turn the water on so we could bathe. It was truly awful. This hotel needs a true upgrade. Totally unacceptable. Not Hilton standards by any means.

I've stayed at several Hilton brand hotels over past few weeks during my travels for work with several more trips coming up in the near future. We decided to stay at this location, as it was close to our events we were attending for the weekend. It was absolutely horrible. After deciding to extend my reservation by an additional day, Nicholas at the front desk made no effort to find the extended reservation although I offered to show him the email that was sent to me from Hilton regarding the change. When we entered the room, there was a hard crusted white substance on the surface of the TV stand and the bathtub wasn't clean. We decided to pay for the breakfast the next morning to which we discovered the dishes were dirty and had to wait over 10 minutes for a refill of water, although we were one of only two dining groups in the dining room. On top of that, due to their mix up with the reservation, I was charged twice for the stay. When I called to inquire about the charge, I got Nicholas AGAIN and AGAIN he was extremely rude, interrupted me as I was trying to help him sort the dates out, and then he told me to just call back tomorrow because he couldn't help me. EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional and has no business in the service industry. I've been in senior management in the retail industry for years, and I know a personality unfit for that type of position when I encounter it. Don't stay here. Just use the Hampton up the road…

I visit Atlanta often, and I am always fortunate enough to find a room in the Downtown Atlanta area, but not this time. I was a little weary of staying here, based on the reviews but I thought it couldn't be that bad… Well I was wrong. The front desk staff don't give you the impression that they want to be bothered, the blank stares seem dismissive and far from hospitable. After checkin I ventured to my room, The a/c vents were filthy (dust was quite visible) the bathroom had an odor and there was mold visible (but painted over). The closet ceiling had tiles that looked a little water damaged (and poorly replaced) and the desk chair was filthy. To be honest with you, this hotel seems more like a motel, and it is quite eerie. I can say that I tried, but I will not be staying here again. On the plus side, the cookies and infused water in the lobby were nice treats.

Good morning, I book this room for family and a concert, and the hotel staff were rude and the elevator was down make long story short we check out a day early a super 8. This doubletree needs close and restart with freindly staff and make everything work. Paid way to much for this crappy service.

Honestly this is the most low class hotel I've ever stayed in. The elevators were broken, all of the vending machines were out of order. The place has a very eerie, murder scene type of air about it. The staff were very rude and unhelpful. When I complained about the quality of my stay, the staff at the front desk stared at me as though he did not understand English. The air vent in the room smelled like marijuana. I decided to shorten my stay because of how terrible my experience at this hotel was. If you're looking for a nice hotel to stay at in Atlanta I highly suggest the Grand Hyatt.

The elevators were down often, and the AC in our room didn't work because it was leaking. The leak kept soaking through ceiling tiles, and the maintenance guy would just come replace the ceiling tile and not fix the leak. The restaurant downstairs left much to be desired, though the food was pretty good. The staff overall was the only redeeming quality. They were kind and pleasant, though they seemed overworked.

As soon as you enter the hotel there is a great energy. Everyone at the hotel were really nice and helpful. The building kept clean but is going through renovations.

Air conditioning was broken. They offered me another room. Location was great though. Breakfast was excellent.

I blindly booked a reservation at this DoubleTree using the Priceline 'Name Your Own Price' tool for a ridiculously good rate, so my opinions are heavily biased by the cost. While this is undoubtedly an older hotel, the staff were very professional and seemed dedicated to offering good service. It was a little disconcerting when concierge recommended we park in the front of the building because there were security cameras in that area. There was surprisingly little road noise despite overlooking the interstate. The room itself was very small and felt quite cramped with a queen bed and two residents. The bathroom was definitely lacking the amenities of a newer hotel but was fortunately still well-cleaned. If I had paid what other hotels in the area were asking for my stay at this hotel, I would have been very upset. Fortunately I did not pay that amount and definitely had a better experience than a budget hotel.

The room was definitely more than adequate, and the hotel is nice, but what really pushed me to leave a review was the staff. Everyone was so genuine and friendly, from check-in to check-out. We will stay here again, no doubt!

I'm Hilton Gold. This was my second time staying at this location. The first stay was great. The second a little less. There was some confusion, apparently on my part, regarding the breakfast that's included with my status. The front desk was very kind and accommodating, however, and the issue passed quickly.

Adequate experience. The front desk was very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient to MARTA and downtown. I might stay there again but would like to try other similar hotels in the area if the price was better.
