This is the worst hotel I have ever and I mean ever stayed at, first I paid for a presidential suite and was down graded to two cheap filthy small rooms and not reimbursed any money what so ever, morning of check out I notice a few chargers from this hotel on my card, a $50 charge and a $7.92 charge I call the hotel and ask what the charges are for, I get told a pillow was missing so they are charging me $50 for a damage fee I said but we didn't take any pillows or damage anything they replied house keeping said you stole it then you stole it, I said that is insane and asked what the $7.92 was they said a room upgrade fee, I responded upgrade you down graded my room manager replied yes I know that price will change later I said it is a withdrawal not reimbursement he replied whatever try to get your money back … do yourself a favor and stay free and clear of this place not only are they a nasty and filthy hotel they are extremely rude and they are thieves if they have your bank or credit card on file they will charge you bogus fees, my bank and hotels. Com have reached out to the hotel with no luck and both have said what this hotel manager has done and is doing is fraud … beware.

Love, Love, Love! Better than most of the resorts! If you have any doubts about staying here, Don’t! Modern, quiet, beds are clean, pillows are comfy! Microwave, Keirig coffee pot in room, very economical and close to lots of things. Quaa at the desk was very friendly and professional! Tavares, you and Holiday Inn did this right! Kudos!

We loved it here. Peace and quiet. Very clean. Breakfast buffet was fresh and good. I give it 5 stars.

Dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever been in. Hair in the bed, unwashed tub, dirty rugs. The entire housekeeping staff needs retrained.

My husband and I stay here almost every year all the staff are very nice and friendly and the breakfast is very good.

The check in process was fast and easy. The rooms were very nice and modern with a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The beds were topped with some amazing memory foam such that I didn't feel the person who was sleeping next to me get up in the morning. The breakfast provided was not a mere continental breakfast, but it included hot food and Cinnabon cinnamon rolls.

This place is clean and the beds are really comfortable. I slept so good here and was completely refreshed in the morning. The staff is great and very helpful at this location. There is a no noise policy during the night so you are guaranteed a good night's rest, which I was really thankful for. There is also a tasty breakfast in the morning with home made pancakes and coffee. The pricing was decent and not too expensive. I recommend staying here if you need a good night's sleep.

The location was very central. It was close to restaurants and bars. The outside was nice. Parking lot was small. Inside was clear and employees helpful and nice. The rooms were very clean. They just put in all new mattresses. The system for room service, or needed extra towels was simple, you just put the cards outside the door. Great way to show what you need.

Such great staff! The hotel sent me a text prior to arrival to see if I had any questions or needed anything. Now that is service! The rooms are clean and large. The area is near a great restaurant, within walking distance. I would not hesitate to come back here. Thank you for a great visit.

At first I was upset with them. Because they blatantly lied to my face. I had a reservation made via customer service who put a note stating that I will arrive at 2am once I got there I was told there was absolutely no room available and no reservations. I tried to explain that I drove an hour out my way to make it there, Front desk clerk didnt seems to care and walked away, so I called customer service expressing my frustration and magically a room became available. They gave me a queen size bed first floor, it was comfy. The room was clean and spacious. Parking was free and they give free breakfast (sausage was really good) Turkey patty meat looks questionable. Overall hotel was good, I wouldn't stay again simply because of the location kind of scary at night.

The Hotel is recently Remodeled, and is very clean and up to date. I stay in Hotel's often fir business and when I am in this area, I always stay here. The staff is very pleasant and usually remembers me from my last stay.

Stayed overnight so my friend and her fiance could be traditional and not see each other the nite before their wedding — she was very happy — very clean — awesome that they are pet friendly — the kitchen even opened up after they officially closed that next morning to give my grandson some apple juice… impressed.

Fantastic all around… Great service, location and free breakfast. Recently remodeled facility. Staff is really helpful and does whatever they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay.

The furniture is modern. The conditioned air serves very well. They treat Me for the vast majority well. The Wi-Fi is a bit difficult to understand how to connect. There is a restaurant there at par.

Went to my room there was no conditioner or lotion just soap and the walls are too thin I can hear my neighbors also they allow people to be loud in the comment section when everyone is sleeping there's nowhere to sit outside when the pool is closed but there's a good restaurant buy it which is good but I will never come to this hotel again.

The Holiday Inn Express hotels never fail us, and the one Tavares, Florida was exceptional. They accommodated every need, gave all the rooms a gift bag with a T-shirt commemorating the bikefest… will stay… great time, great hotel!

I stay here every time I come to the area. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff make for an easy stay, and that right there is enough to keep me as a return customer. See you next trip!

It's ok but they doubled the corporate rates from last year. Might have to go somewhere else next time like the Key West Resort in Tavares.

My only real complaint about the hotel would be it's location. Because it's on a busy highway, it's a real pain to make a left turn in and out of it. Other than that it's one of the better holiday inns that I've stayed in.

I'm not one to criticize but when I went to my room there were ants all over the bathroom and under the sheets, I'm displeased that the cleaning and pest inspection wasn't good.

We stay here everytime we come into town to see family. Everyone working at the front desk has always been friendly and accommodating. Recently we stayed during Hurricane Irma and everyone on staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable. The hotel was recently rennovated with a cleaner modern style. Bedding is comfortable. And the hotel is kept clean.

We stayed here for a week after Hurricane Irma while our house was without power and covered in huge trees. All the staff was super friendly, the room was nice and clean, and they have the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in my life. Since we were there for so long the staff members got used to seeing us and always went out of their way to say hello to our 3 year old. He got a huge kick out of that. I definitely recommend this place.

The Staff was welcomeing as we were displaced my hurricane Irma, they welcomed us with open arms, very comfortable beds, and roomy rooms.

The employees of this hotel went above and beyond for all us evacuees running from hurricane Irma. They worked long hours and smiled the entire time. I felt so comfortable here. This hotel chain needs to know what a great team they have.

We went there running from Irma… The hotel employees were so nice and helpful. We were there under the very worst of circumstances. The hotel allowed a group of fellow runners to bring their Karaoke equipment into one of their meeting rooms and allow guest for a few hrs to forget if our homes were going to be destroyed or what we were in store for. It was an welcome diversion and a lot of fun. Thanks Holiday Inn for caring. Plus … rooms were updated, awesome beds, and really good breakfast. One bright spot of Irma was my stay at Holiday Inn Express in Tavaras Fl.

One of my best hotel experiences ever — beautiful room with the right amenities, all fresh and presented nicely. Excellent service at the front desk as well. This is an A+ operation.

The new beds are amazing! Did find a piece of hair on one of the pillows and left behind in the shower (kinda gross). Overall the hospitality was amazing during my stay! You can't go wrong with the two bedroom suite!

Amazing night stay! Wonderful staff! From the lovely Jackie and Leanne that checked us in, to the equally amazing morning crew, Jennifer, Cindy, and Sierra. Also the 2 ladies on the housekeeping staff on the 3rd floor, Demi and I didn't catch the others name, they made sure we were fine and had everything we needed before checkout. The beds are new and extremely comfortable. All newly remodeled. Amazing night!

This is such a nice place to stay. The hotel is so clean and welll kept. The front desk staff were friendly and so helpful. The girl that cleaned outr room was cheerful and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a nice place to stay.

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff were so nice. The young lady who took care of the breakfast was so sweet and loving. Just want to put in a reminder, when the breakfast girl or the cleaning staff are good to you, please say thank you and give them a real nice tip, they don't make a lot of money. Just a suggestion. Our room was the cleanest room we have ever stayed in. The bathroom sparkled, I kid you not. We would recommend this Holiday Inn Express to everyone. Also they take pets with a fee. Good quality room. Have to go to 1st floor by front desk if you want sodas or snacks. None on the other floors. Address would not pull up in my Tom Tom gps.

Great front desk staff. Lobby has been remodeled and they are renovating the whole hotel.

The rooms were nice and spacious. However the the staff was not helpful or friendly. They did not make accommodations that were guaranteed when reservations were made. The manager could only apologize but not provide what was needed. I was disappointed with the breakfast and lack of options. Will definitely look at other hotel options during my family's next trip.

We usually stay at this property when visiting family in the area. The hotel lobby is currently being refurbished, the front desk took the time to share with us the final design. Every one we meet at the front desk was incredibly friendly and made sure to get us everytime we walked by. The room was clean and we look forward to returning after the refresh is complete.

My visiting family has stayed in the hotel every time they visit… Rooms are always clean and fresh, staff is super nice and easy to talk to. Right next to a nice restaurant and other things very close by. Pool is clean and refreshing! Breakfast is my sons favorite part of staying there … Very good and lots to choose from!

I exclusively stay at this hotel as I travel in the area for work. The manager is absolutely wonderful and assures my stay is perfect every time. The breakfast is the typical Holiday Inn Express layout and the hotel is kept very clean.

First of all room 115 had some kind of bugs crawling on the walls in the bathroom didn't bother looking anywhere else for more bugs they gave us another room with an a/c unit that would wake the dead they really didn't care about the bugs in that room.

Was greeted quickly upon arrival, check in was simple and easy and the property and hotel was clean and updated. Our room was modern and clean was a good size. Plenty of park even with jetskis in tow and continental breakfast was pretty good and better than expected having plenty of options. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

Stood a night wit my girl room was ok.

Front Dest Staff at night was the worst I have ever met. He went off on me over him having to do his job and check me in. INTERNET DOESNT WORK Children running up and down the hallways all night. Throwing food at eachother in the morning. Worst holiday inn I have ever stayed at.

After a stay with family in the area, we spent our final night in this hotel in order to get an early, quick start for travel in the morning. The hotel was great for a one night stay with teenage kids. Public and private areas were clean and well kept. Nightime swim in the pool was refreshing. Will stay here again.

The rooms are very noisy as this hotel is located on a VERY busy six lane highway. I would not recommend staying here. The pictures and description make this look very intimate secluded near the water. It is close to the water judging by all the mosquitos in our room. We talked to Alex who said he was the manager about the cleanliness of our room and he said the room was just fine. What a rude manager. The other employees were pleasant. I do not feel Alex is a good match for Holiday Inn. We will be writing this same letter to corporate. On a positive note, the food next door at JJ Finns was outstanding and the lighting was sufficient to walk to and from the restaurant.
