I arrived late, and the front desk was awesome.
I ordered room service — excellent quality.
Lovely room, comfy bed, great shower.
Woke up to a lovely view of the planes taking off.

Wonderful experience. Truly a 5 star hotel and superstar staff specially Mrs. Smith who brought our roll away bed to our room. 2 thumbs up!

Polite, Professional and th÷ rooms clean, comfortably, beds are the best, great night sleep!

How convenient is this hotel? Plane was delayed till the following day, so I stayed here which is connected to the airport. There was everything here, a swimming pool, convenient store, gift store, food court and even a star bucks. I Checked out at 6am and walked downstairs and was at my departure gate within 15 mins.

Perfect place to spend your first night in Tampa after 9.5 hour flight from UK. Check in staff polite and attentive, check in process was quick. Room was large, clean and very comfortable with all the amenities you would expect. Perfect location within the airport. Highly recommended.

For a Marriott hotel, this property is ready for some TLC. A PIP is long overdue. The hotel has an excellent location and the hotel personnel are friendly and efficient. Quite helpful in giving directions. The skyy lounge is in dire need of an upgrade. Currently it is used for special occasions to host happy hour for corporate events.

Great hotel with AWESOME staff! Check in went super smooth and the guys at the front were extremely helpful with our bags (and there were a lot of bags due to an overseas move)! They even help you bring your bags to the terminal! And love not having to worry about traffic or anything since you can stay here and walk right into the airport! Also, very comfortable beds!

Front desk associate who checked us in was extremely courteous and inviting. Restaurant staff was attentive and the food was good. Excellent breakfast potatoes! The room was very underwhelming. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was on the smaller side and outdated. Housekeeper could have done better cleaning the room. Needs an update to better provide the Marriott experience.

Clean, comfortable, convenient. Nice pool that has a handicap lift, if needed. Quiet. Minimal aircraft noise. Waking up and being at the airport reduced stress immensely. Easy car rental and return. Close and not complicated to navigate into Tampa and surrounding area.

Although it was hard to find because the signs weren't to clear in directing us to the hotel, we can't complain about anything else. Our room was clean and concierge service was great! She new we had an early flight in the morning, so she boxed up some yogurt, muffins and fruit. Superb costumer service.

Clean, quiet6, friendly staff, room was as expected. Bar has some decent food, and it's a good place to be if you have an early flight. You literally don't have to leave the airport to get to the terminals.

Aesthetically pleasing. Kind and very informative customer service to assist us in the morning debacle to get to our 4:30am check-in. Pleasantly pleased there was a hotel attached to the airport with the shenanigans we we're put through. Excellent bellhop service to assist deliver your luggage to your check-in. Cool view of the airstrip, yet very quiet! Very comfortable room with nice amenities. TV swiveled so I could relax in the tub. Pleasing aromatic scents provided to wash with.

If you are flying in or out of TPA, this hotel is in the perfect location, quick walk to gates. Smart televisions in rooms. Good food and nice beer selection downstairs.

We fly standby so after a long day of no luck we had to throw in the towel. We were on our way to grab a shuttle to another hotel when I saw the Marriot. We quickly compared prices and found a govt rate for $130. We checked in and my kids ran straight to dip their feet in the pool. We played some games outside, ate dinner and crashed for the night. This hotel was a godsend.

It's part of the Tampa airport. Great if you are sleeping overnight to catch a flight the next day. Nice rooms and feel. Quicker than sleeping at home the night before and driving early in the morning to the airport, you can quickly leave your room and get to your gate within an hour.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Doesn't get any more convenient than walking to your hotel attached to the airport. Very quiet rooms as well. I have stayed here numerous times and have never heard any jet noise.

I was there for a wedding. The wedding was beautiful, the wedding coordinator did a good job, the staff was what made the wedding late. They were unorganized, under prepared, and, at times rude to the guests and very rude to the outside photographers and DJ. No excuse for any of this because we RSPV'd back in January. The kicker for me wasn't that I specifically said that I was there for a wedding at the front to the valet and was not informed that there was special parking for the guests, so I had to pay for my parking. The kicker was that the reception was on a special floor that needed to be unlocked. Not only were staff present at the wedding, there were staff with the itinerary. Nobody thought to unlock the floor in the elevator until after elderly guests were sorta stuck in the elevator. The hotel looked nice, but, as far as weddings are concerned, this hotel is incompetent. My bride deserved better. Also, the stairs need to be marked better… That's sort of, ya know, code.

Check in was quick. Received an upgrade to the concierage level. Very clean and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend it. Very convenient to the airport. As it is connected to the terminal.

Attended a company meeting. Parking was east and attendants were very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, very fresh and presented well. Staff was available yet did not interfere with meeting. Facilities were very clean and comfortable. Meeting room was perfect.

Rooms were good and it is nice to be right at the airport for early departures; only problem was the a/c was very week and the room was too hot all night long.

The hotel was fine, it cost a lot because of the location and proximity to the airport. The rooms are average, could probably use an update, as well as the common areas on each floor. The outdoor pool area is nice. The employees all seemed a little odd, for lack of a better word. The only reason I would ever stay here is for proximity to the airport being right on the property. Definitely not for any other reason like food or drinks or hospitality.

They don't have free Wi-Fi, you have to pay.

Clean, friendly staff and connected to the terminal (just walk a couple of minutes to the counters). Excellent if you have to fly the next day.

Very roomy, the host are so polite and you barely hear the planes. Great view from the top two floors on the west side.

Here, it's definitely all about location, location, location. It's also surprisingly affordable, which makes it ideal. The room is clean, the beds are comfortable, and the staff is pleasant and helpful. I would stay again and recommend others to do so as well.

Cant beat the location if you are flying, it is right in the airport teminal. New remodel in the terminal gives you easy access to dining with a Hard Rock and PF Chang's. Should have even more options when the new public area is completed. Hotel lobby bar/restaurant is well appointed and has a reasonable fare of food. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

About 2 years ago, I came here with my family to fly to Washington D. C for summer. Security was good and staff was nice. Got out quick to. Very good airport!

Excellent service from staff. Great room service for reasonable prices with a wide variety of options for all hours of service. The room was extremely clean and very relaxing. Perfect way to deal with a long layover or to have a relaxing and stress free night before a dreaded "Red Eyed" flight and a long day of travel.

Our hotel room was clean spacious! We loved the fact that this hotel was connected right to the airport. No shuttle. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Plus the front desk staff was great.

This is a nice hotel with dark and quiet (if small) rooms that are clean and benefit from a recent update. Beds are comfortable including fitted sheets and new mattresses. I wised they'd used a real duvet instead of layers of sheets. Check-in was quick.

I had a wonderful experience at Tampa airport marriot! The process was fast and easy. Also, the customer service at check in was awesome. The kids had a good time in pool area and after the lobby had a movie playing with popcorn and lemonade. It was a great experience. I will definitely be staying again very soon. The only thing I would think would have made my stay even better is a vending machine on each floor. Thanks for the great stay Tampa Airport Marriot!

Delta put me up here when I volunteered to get bumped to the next day. I want only there to sleep for a few hours but it seemed like a pretty nice place to stay. It's a little older but some stuff has been updated. The staff was all very nice and quick. The bar looked great and apparently serves a full menu late at night.

I loved everything about the staff and rooms. The convention on the property kept the elevators crowded. Maid service in hotel bathrooms was stellar. Couldn't ask for more friendly services at the front desk. The atmosphere was liken to a family reunion. Maybe they responded to the friendliness I brought to them.

Nice hotel experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was obviously convenient, and surprisingly quiet for how close the airport it is. There was a stain on my bedspread, so that was a turnoff, but no complaints other than that.

They have decent rooms that overlook the airport property, there is a bar/lounge across the lobby for your social needs. The lobby level had several ballrooms that host events all year long, from proms to weddings Marriott had you covered. The convenience of being connected to the airport is nice when you want to catch an early flight. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. Since the lobby roof leaks when there is heavy rain I had to give 4 stars.

Rooms are nice. Staff not so much. I called to ask why there was an authorization on my card for a $60 purchase and the manager on duty was very rude to me over the phone. She said it would go back on my card but didn't actually listen to my question about the source of the charge when I had only had 4 meals on 4 separate occasions. Very poor customer service. Best answer I got was "I have no idea" and she was the manager. Keep in mind I never link a card to a room. Why was there an authorization for an amount I didn't charge that was then to go back on my card?

It was nice but the front staff wasnt correctly trained into how to handle corporate bookings, I was asked for my credit card for incidentals when my company had covered.

Went here for a continuing legal education. The place is well organized. You can't hear the event in the next room over, so it's easy to focus. They also usually validate parking so it's cheaper to park than using the airport parking.

One of the nicer airport hotels I have stayed at. Doesn't have that run down, lots of people through here feel. Defineately close to the airport, just walk down the hall after you get off the plane. Staff is friendly, and in house restaurant had a good breakfast and lunch, but questionable service. Internet is free if you are a rewards member.

We requested a room for 3 people and when we went to our room, there was a king bed and a pull out sofa. That alone is not a problem, but the pull-out bed was extremely small, the mattress was poor quality and the bed had no sheets on it. The sheets were located in the closet. Additionally, there is no Wi-Fi available for free and the room overall was very small. Given the price of the hotel, I found both of these things to be unacceptable. The only good thing about it is that it is close to the airport which is convenient if you are just passing through.

Pick this hotel for the location, a five minute walk from the elevator to the TSA line. The rooms are small, the bathrooms smaller. Clean and serviceable. Coffee maker and iron in the room. Microwave down the hall with the ice machine. Quiet despite the location. If you have a 6am flight, you can't go wrong.

I read some of the previous Reviews of this place and can't imagine why anyone would rate this place anything less than a 4 or 5 stars. Sure the place does charge for internet, Breakfast, Etc but it is also by hotel rating a 4 star hotel, so you should have at least an idea of the amenities and services they offer, of course it's not going to have free breakfast/internet. Do your research before you book a hotel… that being said I Love this place, This is my Go to place when I fly to Tampa. the front desk is a little bit more on the quiet side so they don't say much at check in but they are kind when I do need something of them so no complaints there, with the previous stay this past weekend I was really impressed with how well my room was cleaned throughout my stay. I do work for this company and have inspected for a couple of years and I can say that I was amazed at how well every little detail was taken care of while I was away. My bed wasn't just tided up, it was completely remade and made perfectly, my shampoos were replaced, make up was moved around and neatly put in a cup which was really nice of them to do! I also went outside to the pool area and an employee came out with fresh warm towels for us! How amazing is that? My boyfriend and I were really really impressed with the service and attention to detail that his place offers, will be returning again. Thanks to our housekeeper, Iris I believe was her name, AMAZING JOB!

HORRID! They booked some kind of African Dance thing until 1am at the AIRPORT Marriott. The second floor is actually vibrating with continuous African Drums. Our plane leaves at 5 am so we have to be up and out at 3am. The management simply doesn't care! There is "nothing they can do" We have to resort to calling the Tampa Police to enforce the noise ordinance it is so LOUD! Poor Management, Poor Decision Making, Horrendous Customer Service! You would be better off to sleep on a chair in the airport than try to get any sleep in this hotel! DON'T STAY HERE! Save your $160 bucks and sleep on the floor in the airport it would be more comfortable!

Excellent location one minute to some gates! Airport runway or taxiway view, pool available for swimming. I didn't like the fact that drinking water and Wi-Fi were not free of charge, and very expensive. Just go to the main reception and use free airport Wi-Fi! My room had airport Wi-Fi access so who should pay for Wi-Fi! For free drinking water, before the restroom entrance beside the red elevators there is free drinking water so do save some bucks :) If your departure is in the early morning or your arrival is in the late night then book this hotel. For food and drink, the terminal has plenty of choices.

Just an average Joe but I know what regular hotels offer so I know what my money is worth. Have to pay for parking but only two floors of garage parking rest is outside parking. Have to pay to use Wi-Fi. Can ask for a fridge as a free service but can only put in 6 coke cans as the fridge they send you is smaller than my wife purse. Sliding doors to balcony do not open. No free breakfast and the prices for the amount of food made me apologize to the hotel for their insult. Their sandwich was literally regular slices of bread like for toast and some lunch meat and lettuce for 15$. Bottle of water for 5$ not even a 20oz. Pool was the size of two spas together. Bed was soft, a/c worked, room was sound proof enough the airplanes were noticeable when taking off but did get use to it but would not recommend to someone who require absolute quiet. Good quality TV though useless as they only have regular hotel channels. For the price this place is not even on the list of consideration ever again. It was like I was waiting for the cameras to jump out and say I been punked. I did stay the first night out of my 3 night reservation out of pity. I felt so sorry for this hotel. After the first night though I had to go get my money's worth and stayed elsewhere and just took the hit for canceling my reservation in the middle of it.

This hotel could probably survive on location alone (2 minutes from hotel room door to airside shuttle) but it was clean, quiet, well-maintained and professionally staffed. The room was immaculate, the bed was comfortable and everything worked (lights, plugs, hair dryer, coffeemaker, etc). Can't believe I'm writing about a hotel shower but it was gorgeous — tile floor, glass walls, rain shower head. I wish my shower at home was that nice. Reasonable rate too.

Friendly staff, clean and upscale. My room faced the planes taking off and landing, I was nervous it be loud but was pleasantly superseded the noise wasn't bad at all. Last minute change in plans had me staying here, was quick to book and reasonable pricing for the room. Would stay here again if ever needed to! Plus it's right at the airport so it's convenient when needing to board for flights without having to get a ride to the airport it's self.

Stayed in a recently renovated oversized room. I would have rated the quality excellent if they had replaced the bathtub. Everything else was 1st class. Loved the runway view! The staff was friendly and helpful.

For an older airport hotel, Marriott has done a great job keeping it clean and modern. The room size seemed slightly small but the bed was fantastic. The other suprise was how quiet the room was. My room was at an end that was only a couple hundred yards from the tarmac and I couldn't hear the planes taxi to or from their gates. The staff was great. I stayed on the concierge level and utilized the lounge where snacks and drinks were served. And the concierge was a wonderful woman from German. She made visiting the lounge kind of like visiting mom's. It was a great personal touch at a hotel that looks like so many.
