Shuttle service was terrible! no return. Waited 90 minutes had to hire another hotel shuttle! other hotels had busses… not you! they had vans… I will never stay there again.

Had a fabulous time this past weekend on an overnight with friends. This a beautiful, stylish and clean Hotel! My one friend was fascinated by your unique lighting fixtures. The other was enthralled with the decorating and we all loved the bedding and pillows! The staff was a delight! We need a another overnight soon to take in all we missed! Thank you!

Very poor customer service. I booked and paid for a suite and was given a regular room. The front desk made me wait for hours and finally admitted that they had overbooked the room. I complained to the general manager almost two weeks ago and have heard nothing.

Upgraded door locks from magnetic strip card readers. Enjoyed having the option to watch Netflix on large screen TV. Also took advantage of shuttle to and from airport. Took a while to explore best entry point to the mall next door, but once I found one that worked for me it was a great plus. Staff were helpful especially arriving late for check in.

Good hotel, with good service. Comfortable room and beds. In the room of the coffee maker (which did not work and repaired it with tape and paper … Level) ) TV. In the bathroom is a shower that is built into the wall… That's a negative.
A lovely pool and jacuzzi. It's a good gym.

The Renaissance location is nestled between International Mall and the local Corporate Center, and within a 10-minute Drive of Tampa International Airport property. The layout of the check-in area is a little confusing and hard to find, as the entry way is easily missed. The rooms are spacious and inviting. The bathrooms come with enough towels and toiletries for one for a comfortable overnight stay. Two may require more. The bar staff are inviting and welcoming, although I did have a issue getting the attention of the valet.

I was here for a Bridal expo with my sister and friends. I was greeted by every single employee as I passed them. I was served champagne as I entered the room. They served delicious food (the pulled pork was amazing! ) There were also many mini desserts to enjoy. It was a beautiful hotel.

This hotel is fabulous! The customer service is exceptional, the rooms are exceptional, and the amenities are awesome! I loved the very comfortable bed, and the nice, new gym equipment! The pool area is very nice, and they have self parking, vs valet only at many Tampa hotels! Extra bonus, it is attached to Tampa International mall, so endless options of delicious food and great shopping! I will seek this hotel first when needing to stay in this area!

After a delayed flight and with 2 sleepy kids, arriving in Tampa at 1:30am was a nightmare, BUT this hotel brought peace. The check in staff was nice and quick. The room was perfect for our tired bodies. After a long and comfortable sleep, the Club Level nourished us back to life with a delicious breakfast. Incredible stay!

Taylor at the front desk was amazing, made my check in process effortless and easy. Absolutely no qualms about my stay, all the staff was great. Room was a good size, bed was amazingly comfortable.

Lovely hotel! Room was nice and the TV was huge (bigger than most hotels I’ve been in recently anyways)! The shower shampoo and conditioner they provide is rosemary mint which I thought was kind of an interesting scent to go with. I liked it ok, but you can definitely smell the mint. They have a beautiful courtyard with lots of comfy couches and a fountain. There is a large pool and workout center. Which, FYI, there are Fiji water bottles for $5 in the rooms, but the workout center has a mini fridge full of little free water bottles if you didn’t want to drink tap. They aren’t Fiji, but I’m not picky. It is right next to a huge mall and the airport, so it’s a great location. It doesn’t really have any good views in any direction though. Maybe if you’re on the top two floors, but those are reserved for club members. I had a lovely time here though. Very clean and comfortable, and very courteous staff.

Clean, modern. Rooms were not dull and blank. Marble tops, quiet. Very well designed. Entrance and self parking sign is a bit confusing otherwise it's great. Also perfect location for dining and shopping.

Visited this hotel for a Salsa/Bachata event. Did not stay overnight. It's located in International Plaza, either in front or behind the restaurants, depending which way you enter the plaza. The Plaza is in a business area, so outside of it, you have office buildings, a few more restaurants, and hotels. The hotel seems well maintained, and the staff is friendly. Parking is also free since it's in the Plaza, however, there is designated parking for hotel guests.

Okay for the price. Great location to the airport and accommodations for business trips. Unfortunately, no free breakfast or coffee. They make it difficult to find water too. We were thankful that we didn't see any kids there though. More designed for adults.

Standard room layouts, but the location and services at the Renaissance put it over the top. Upgraded to an 8th floor room with access to their lounge which included a very tasty breakfast. Rooms are clean and modern with a pretty comfy bed. Walking access to all of the shopping, food, and nightlife at International and Bay Street mean you've always got something to do right there.

I enjoy this hotel especially lunch if you are shopping. It is a nicely keep secret. The service is top notch. Valet is nice for lunch and shopping. It is ambience is a great setting for a meal and conversation. I particularly like the grilled open faced grouper sandwich. There is often a charity auction in lobby. I get a kick on bidding if the art is to my liking and have won a nice piece of work. Try it.

Worst place ever. The sheets on the bed were not clean. They did not pull the sheets back and changed the covers which in turn caused them to leave dirty sheets on the bed when we went to bed that night that is when I discovered the nasty unclean sheets was on the bed … I complained to management and nothing was done. Don't waste your money at this place.

I always go to the Renaissance for social and professional events in their ballrooms rather than stay overnight. The experiences are nonetheless pleasant and amazing. The size of each ballroom is great for any type of presentation or meeting, and the reception service is stellar. You are welcomed into the hotel and treated like a guest no matter what your purpose. The cooking is to die for; the chefs and waiters are amazing people and should get more recognition for their ability to feed 30+ people at my events without a flaw. The setting is professional and friendly, and management truly works with you. If you were even thinking about booking an event or an overnight stay at this hotel, do not hesitate. You won't regret it.

Nice hotel with modern rooms and a recently renovated workout facility. Attached to the upscale International Plaza Mall, lots of good food options in the evening within 2 min walking distance from the room. Large outdoor enclosed courtyard is great for cigars in the evening. Lobby bar has a great selection considering it's a hotel bar.

Nice Hotel, great location. Park and never leave. Nothing really special for Marriott rewards members. Platinum member, been over a dozen times and never seen a suite.

Beautifully decorated, cool seating nicely arranged in lobby and 1st floor conducive to conversations, 1st class restaurant w 2 bars, wonderful professional staff in hotel, restaurant and bars, very nice rooms and comfortable beds. Great place for a get away weekend or as base of operations for a weekend of shopping at International Plaza next door.

This is a typical airport hotel. Lobby is incredibly noisy, due to design & bar (with "live (LOUD) music, " & lots of hard surfaces to bounce noise. It is difficult to hear the receptionists over the normal sound level, if the lobby is busy, impossible when "music" is playing. Resturant serves a good breakfast buffet, lunch, or you can go next door to the shopping center food court. Didn't try dinner though. Rooms have that wonderful Marriott bed that is so comfy. Bath is small, but fairly well set up, with nice shower. It has really lousy lighting, for man who wants or needs to shave. Our main dislike of the rooms was the hideously ugly grey color. Trendy? Maybe, Depressing — — for sure! Room was quiet, even though near airport. So that is a plus. However, this hotel is over priced in our option. If you are on an expense account it might be O. K. We won't stay here again.

Excellent hotel, with outstanding service. The concierge desk was staffed with extremely well mannered and very attentive personnel. The front desk staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. The only downside of this hotel is the limited parking, the small hotel entrance and the in room coffee service and the inoperable safe. The balance of this hotel is remarkable. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, well furnished and maintained. The in room bathroom linen is very plush. The bed was luxuriously soft, comfortable and well dressed. The room was outfitted nicely with an HD TV, a comfortable day sofa and a nice desk. This is certainly a hotel worth returning to.

Very nice hotel with splendid amenities extremely convenient to Tampa International Airport. And an even added bonus is that it is right on the property of International Mall with some of Tampa's finest shops as well as a court yard style promenade of restaurants (fine dining and casual) and bars/pubs. No car needed here and no real reason to venture far. They also have on site parking and all the expected amenities of Renaissance Hotel.

Clean with relaxing rooms and good customer service. Awesome location. Mall is right outside main entrance, airport is around the corner, and Raymond James stadium is about a 30 min walk. Great staff.

Beautiful hotel. Connected to the Tampa mall. Very nice staff beautiful Decor in the rooms and great food at the restaurant inside the hotel. Pool area is very quiet. Gym is beautiful with top of the line equipment. There was no microwave or mini fridge in our room. Not sure if this is standard for every room or just not the room that we booked. Love the fact that check out was 12.

Overall nice location, right next to the mall. There's a medium sized outdoor pool, spacious rooms and lots of conference facilities. The breakfast is decent overall, and there is a nice patio area in the middle.

Thank you to Ilinca, the hotel's event manager, for the work she did on our class reunion. She was great to communicate with and she bent over backwards for us. Everything with our reunion went great. The Renaissance was a perfect host hotel with its proximity on Bay Street and to south Tampa. All the staff there was courteous and helpful. I especially want to thank the valet guys. We were constantly borrowing their carts and they let us take them to The Pub with all our decorating supplies. Above the call of duty. Thanks again!

This hotel is a Tampa blessing! The management and staff are so very efficient and most importantly compassionate during Hurricane Irma.
My 87 year old mother, 89 year old aunt and 4 cousins evacuated quickly to the Renaissance when surge forecasts were issued. Stressed and nervous, they were quickly reassured by the hotel with the organized plans and procedures.
They slept incredibly well during the tense night, confident they were safe.
Speaking with my mom from miles aw…ay, she was so very very relaxed and looking forward to breakfast in the hotel restaurant after the storm passed. I can't speak highly enough of this hotel. The professionalism was superb. All the employees and staff did Tampa proud.
Well done!

Stayed-in for Hurricane Irma & the entire staff was amazing making everyone feel safe and comfortable. I'm so glad that I was smart enough book this reservation just getting back from my Puerto Rico vacation @another fabulous Marriott Resort in San Juan Sterallis… For now on Marriott will be on top of my list on places to stay while I'm vacationing… They have superb customer service and the rooms here we so wonderful & up to date.

We have been here for hurricane irma and the staff has been exceptional. They are thoughtful, attentive, patient and kind. They stepped up in the worst of times and proved their attention to detail and customer service. This is the only place we've felt safe!

The stay here was great! Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, very modern and up to date! I had no complaints, but it would be nice to have a microwave in the room (they had one in the lobby, so it wasn't a big deal). I would DEFINITELY stay here again!

I attended a work seminar and found the conference room comfortable and well stocked. The staff was very attentive and polite. Food was vey good. It was a pleasant experience.

We do events here about twice a year. It's a great location attached to the mall. Hotel staff is full of long time employees that do a great job. I don't care for the new gray decor. It used to be so colorful and inviting.

This hotel is well-appointed, comfortable, and gorgeous. The pool, fitness center & public guest areas were clean & inviting. The room had everything we needed to give us a place for privacy & to get great sleep. The location is easy access to nearly all the major attractions of Tampa. I would absolutely stay here again.

Once we arrived at the hotel which was early, they were able to check us in, which was awesome to me, I hate waiting around for our room to be ready. In the room, the bathroom smelled like dirty feet. There was a funk the entire rest of our stay, but it was clean. Another thing is that during the night the AC would turn off because no one was moving around. In my opinion, I should be able to set the temperature and have it run all night if that's what I choose since we paid for the room. Instead we woke up 4-5 times to move around just so out would kick back on. Having to catch an early flight and not getting my sleep makes for a long next day. That alone would make me not stay here again. The pool was nice, the hotel as a whole was nice but not worth my money when I don't get a good nights sleep.

I have had breakfast and dinner there and both were incredible! The Sangria and Mojito's are made fresh and are perfectly crafted. Highly recommend the crab cakes and calamari as an appetizer. One night my wife and I stayed at the Hotel and had to grab a quick bite before a show and had their burgers too which were amazing. Staff and management are first class also.

The first time I ate at Pelagia was recently when I tried their new Friday Four Course Dinner for Two. It was spectacular. Within weeks I scheduled a working dinner meeting for my bosses and me. It's an Italian restaurant and I can not eat garlic or onions and have to be dairy and gluten free! The list of things I can not eat is ridiculous, YET, the waitress was so helpful, she guided me to the Risotto (I can have Parmesan) and had the chef create a Veggie Risotto (not on the menu) just for me! I LOVE this place. My bosses were pleased with my choice. Everyone at this restaurant goes above and beyond!

The Renaissance is attached to a large mall and is great for people who are looking for a high quality hotel stay with convenient access to shopping and dining. The bedding and quality of everything in the room was Superior, including the bathroom products (Aveda). We had the buffet breakfast and that left a lot to be desired. The buffet was $18.95 and while there were many selections, the food did not appear or taste fresh. They have portable cribs available for families with small children like ours, and we called down to request one before going out to dinner. The desk clerk assured us it would be delivered to our room in our absence, but when we returned it was not their. We called back down and another desk clerk said they would send one out right away. Two hours later we called out again and requested it for a third time. Minutes later one was delivered and the clerk called back to make sure we received it. This was very frustrating.

It was great. Lobby was cool. Staff was nice. Rooms were great and the pool was phenomenal.

The Renaissance Hotel was so perfectly presented for lunch. The food was exceptional for a very reasonable price. I had salmon.

Easy access to the mall and many restaurants right outside the entrance. The staff here is excellent. They address any needs quickly. Rooms have been renovated recently and are very nice. The overall grounds are well maintained.

Beautiful… The building had been very seanic and there were many events to do. The costomer service was above the call of duty and all the food was beyond your highest expectations. Would go to for a third stay.

It was a very nice place with a lot of mind waiters that treat you with a lot of respect. The building looks fantastic the restrooms had elegant paper towels to use and all around very nice place to go for business evenets.

Great place to spend a night, good room service and excellent food and drinks are offer for guests. No problem finding a parking spot and there is no inconvenience when you want to relax yourself.

This is a review for a small thing that meant a lot to us. We needed to check a bag for a few hours and Alyssa and her work partner helped us out with enthusiastic and genuine smiles. They put a very human and professional face on that represented the property well and that we'll remember for a long time.

My husband and I were attending a wedding last week and the service was fabulous. I have a rare food allergy and the chef went out of his way to accommodate me. He made special appetizers and a meal for me. He even came to talk to me to make sure everything was okay prior to serving my food. I ate without any worries of cross-contamination of any kind! I booked The Renaissance Tampa for my Fraternity's formal event and we reserved 30 rooms for 120 people for two nights. The hotel was beautiful and the staff was very professional and kind. The rates are also very affordable considering the amazing quality of the stay. The hotel is also in a convenient and popular location. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Tampa area.

Great place, clean and awesome customer service.

I checked in to the hotel using a Marriott voucher and was told by the front desk staff that I was committing fraud, very rude. They would not honor the voucher. I tried to explain to them that I traveled here from out of town and would they please honor the voucher this one time, but the staff would not even work with me. They waited until after I checked in, then called me at 10:00 that night to tell me that they would not honor the voucher. I have traveled all over the world, and I have never been mistreated this way. I will never come back to this hotel again.

Wish the in room coffee was better, otherwise, everything was great.
