Update: when we spoke to the front desk they were very apologetic and comped our room! If it weren’t for such a late check in, we would have left this dump. No excuse for coming into a room with dirty towels hanging, someone’s dirty thong hanging in the shower, and dirty used soap with hair on it on the sink. I have never ever left a complaint at any company but this is just disgusting.

The hotel is very beautiful inside and out and the rooms are very clean. The staff is very friendly and professional. We were there for a family vacation and it was the best decision we've ever made staying at the Hilton Garden Inn North. I highly recommend them and we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Tampa.

Nice environment with clean rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent amenities. Not many restaurants or retail stores in walking distance but they have a shuttle to take you to places in the area. I was here for business and the conference room was set up nicely as well.

The Hilton Garden Inn Tampa North was a very nice hotel to stay in. Upon arriving at was greeted by a very friendly employee at the front desk who made check in quick and easy which is exactly what I needed after a long flight. The rooms were very nice as well with the bed being comfortable and having plenty of outlets for all my electronics. The room also came with a mini fridge and microwave which was a nice touch. The bathroom was nice and updated however the door to my bathroom constantly made an annoying screeching noise every time it was opened but I assume a little WD-40 could fix this. The carpets were nice and there are no stains no blinds or on any of the other upholstery. The only reason I gave the Hilton Garden Inn Tampa North 4 out of 5 stars is because I ordered a meal and what I got back was burnt so badly I couldn't eat the bottom bun. I also requested broccoli as a side for my meal and was told that was offered and what I got back was some other medley of vegetables which was slightly disappointing. If they didn't have that option I would have appreciated knowing before ordering. They did have a decent beer selection, so I will give them that. In conclusion, the hotel itself is great; the restaurant inside was not so great.

Seems like a newly renovated hotel. Some aspects of the presentation still need improvement but overall the hotel is good. Front desk is friendly. My first night it took around 8 minutes for the shower water to heat up however but was fine the night after. Certain areas could be cleaner and some equipment needs to be updated.

Great customer service. Very clean rooms. Great price. They have both my children stuffed animals and took care of us after having to leave the Ramada due to cleanliness issues. Will stay here again.

Great clean room and overall very good service. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the lack of a phone in the room and the internet was lacking on the free plan. In room they had a good iron which is nice. Lots of places have poor quality ones. The cleaning services were exceptional.

Had a great 4 night stay here! Lots of positives. Kalil, DJ and the rest of the team were great. Only one less than acceptable situation. The morning shuttle driver on Friday June 9th refused to drive us over to the Water Park because we hadn't "put our names on the list. " This was quickly corrected and the assistant manager, Sarah, personally took us over when the shuttle driver returned from his very short trip and, apparently, refused to make another run. Breakfast was really good and we took advantage of cooked to order omelets most mornings. Shuttle was a BIG plus. Never had to pay for parking at any of the parks and was able to work the once an hour runs into our schedule easily. Basically parked our car and let Hilton take care of the rest for the weekend. Pool was nice. Definitely will stay here again!

3rd time staying there and enjoyed the quiet rooms and friendly staff. The cookies at night is a nice touch. Pool up keep and daily servings needs help. We were there for 2 nights and saw balloon debris and towels out and about.

Stayed here this weekend and they didn't have any rooms with two beds left, so they suggested I stay in a King suite. WOW was that a great room. Plenty of room for all of us. I was in love with the pillows and our bed was really comfortable. I also loved having two bathrooms. Really made getting ready in the morning easy. Also, the towels were really thick and soft unlike many hotels! We used the shuttle to get back and forth from Busch Gardens and the drivers were really nice. I also need to comment about the breakfast. The chef made great omelettes. They were cooked to perfection. Manuel was the gentleman at the desk when we checked in and he was very pleasant to deal with. I also spoke to Gregory a few times at the front desk and he went above and beyond to take care of us. Even called us to let me know when the fresh batch of cookies came out of the oven. I will definitely stay here again!

Love the nice large rooms. Kids really enjoy having their own space. Only drawback is that there is no door to close the bedroom off from the rest of the suite. Fridge, microwave, work space, free Wi-Fi… not too far from shopping and entertainment. Will definitely book here again!

We recently had an even at this hotel and the team of staff and management was phenomenal. They took service to new heights. Unfortunately due to no error of their own the have received complaints that should not be directed at the Hilton. If anyone attended the BSMC FL — Mother Event this past weekend you need to reach out the The GM — Mr. Whiteacre. He would be happy to explain the situation to you as he did myself and my family. The Banks-Richardson Family will be using this establishment again. Thanks Arielle.

The hotel location is great. However, the beds are horrible. My husband and I were on a slope because the mattress was so worn. It was unsettling that there was no mattress protector on the bed. The halls and elevator areas are so hot and there's no air circulation. 5 minutes after our arrival to our room at 5pm, housekeeping was knocking on our door asking if she could put towels in an already stocked bathroom. The walls are thin. 7 o'clock in the morning we could hear kids running and screaming down the hall and housekeeping opening garbage bags. This hotel is in serious need of new mattresses and better soundproofing.

The hotel is located near Busch Gardens with great rates. They offer free shuttle to and from the amusement park. That saves $20 parking. Room was clean. Very comfortable beds. The towels super soft. Many hotels offer scratchy towels but these are plush and felt great to the touch. The ac in the room could have been cooler and was unable to adjust the thermostat lower. There was a mini fridge, microwave and Keurig in the room.

Nice quite place to stay can't hear near by highway traffic. They serve dinner and breakfast. Relaxing pool area and clean. I would stay there again. My only disappointment was room fridge was too small and had no freezer.

The pool was warm, the hot tub was nice and hot. Everything was very clean, and the food and service was awesome! I love staying at Hilton!

Great price for the quality and our bartender, Christian Hosoi, was amazing. Best service by him, super friendly, and made our stay better. The lack of 1 star was because the pool and jacuzzi was a little dirty.

Girl at the front desk was very unwelcoming (putting it mildly). The guy in front of me in line at least got the fake smile and forced laugh "treatment" — my greeting was exactly this: "last name" in a monotone voice while looking down at the computer keyboard. STRIKE ONE! Paid for the jetted tub and was given a room with a tub (no jets). The main reason I stayed here is that I was having back pain and was looking forward to the jetted tub for a little pain relief — STRIKE TWO! Ordered a pizza and when the pizza guy got there, the guy at the front desk calls me to come down and get it — instead of allowing the pizza delivery guy do his job and simply bring it up to my room. STRIKE THREE — YOU'RE OUT! For good measure, while I was leaving the following morning, I passed a housekeeper on the way out. Instead of a "good morning" or "hello" she simply looked past me like I was invisible and shouted something to another housekeeper down the hall. One last thing (as if you need more), there are NO soda or vending machines on any floor, no complementary (or paid) bottled water in the room. The reason for this is that they want you to buy their overpriced beverages and snacks at their little store thing — which resembles a tiny closet with a stand up cooler. As you may have guessed, I will not be going back to this Hilton property and I strongly suggest that you take your business elsewhere as well.

Awfull from beginning to end. First room ac/heat bid not work. Moved to different room. Mattresses are so bad they look like giant bowls. They wore out years ago. Asked for wake up call for important dr. Appointment, they forgot! They don't accept credit for any issues. This is not Hilton quality, red carpet in quality at Hilton pricing. Look elsewhere this area has many superior choices.

Pretty hotel in a nice area with friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay and got a good deal on our room. However, this hotel is a little further away from most restaurants and attractions. We didn't mind. There is a Dunkin Doughnuts and a Wendy's across the street. Our room was a good size, clean, we used the hotel pack and play which seemed brand new. Mattress on the king bed was definitely on the firm side. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Pool and hot tub area were well maintained, though the pool was too cold to swim (website says heated) in early March. We would stay here again.

Stayed one night. The staff was very friendly n the rooms were clean. Your average hotel stay. Nothing fancy but a great location to stay if you are going to Bush gardens.

This was a fine hotel, but nothing outstanding. There were minor cosmetic issues and the place is starting to wear, but it's clean and the staff is super friendly. Unfortunately, the location isn't near anything, so it isn't a walking-friendly stay.

Was okay. There are there was no hot water in the hand wash sink, Toilet was Wobbly, For the price for room you guys can at least provide Complimentary breakfast for guest.

Room was clean and comfortable, but bathroom in 626 is small. Breakfast was fair. Check in and out was efficient. Very convenient right off I-75.

Went to the Hilton Garden Inn for a work training. Staff was friendly and accomodating to our company. Facility was up to date a clean. Ball room was adequate for our purposes of an interactive forum.

Fire alarm at 3:30 AM EST because of lobby construction (no actual fire) … You know, because it’s not like I have to get up in 3 hours to go to the airport or anything and 3am sounds like the best time to do construction. The alarm turned off before the fire dept. Showed up and the manager came out and told us “Everything ok (sic) ” and tried to get most people to go back inside before the building had been cleared by responders. The walls have portions peeling off and the…re is very little to no hot water, even at 4 am. During the days the hallways are hot and humid as though the general building HVAC can’t cope. They charge $20 for breakfast if you aren’t a “honors” member.

Nice hotel. Great for business travel. Staff were pleasant and professional. The person I was traveling with had significant problems with the hotel bill, but it was eventually worked out.

A great military discount rate. As far as the room. I wasn't fond of the bath tub sunken in the middle and the gritty texture non slip surface. Otherwise very nice. High 5 to the Breakfast buffet. Loved my omlette.

ANTS! Please see attached video. We stayed New Year's WEEKEND. In the lobby NYE (12/31/2017) there were celebration cookies for the guests, which we brought to our room… BIG MISTAKE! Apparently the ants were hungry too! Soon we found hundreds of ants covering the cookies that we had placed next to the coffee pot! When I went to throw the ant-covered cookies away, I noticed there were ants also in the bathroom (but hard to see as they were the same color as the counter-top). At check-out, I told the desk clerk, his response was "Gee, that's the second complaint we've received about ants this morning, and it's not even ant season. " Ummm… seriously?!? This is the response given to a customer? I told him "Do NOT put anyone into that room (330) or they won't be staying there long" There were no further conversations from the desk clerk. No attempt to apologize nor offer resolution. Will NOT be returning to the Hilton Garden Inn again. Gross!

One of the best places to stay, employess are awesome, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is the best. Always gets me my corn beef hash out on the line if I ask the night before… also for me very clean if you are cancer patient like myself, need to have extra clean amenities for recovery.

One of my favorite. Quiet, it's in FL and has some of the best outdoor seating to enjoy an evening cigar. Traffic can be a little rough getting in or out, but that's Florida for ya.

Great Hotel… the only thing is even though I booked the hotel two months ago and requested a pack and play they only had them on a first come first serve basis. I couldn't let my 8 month old sleep on the floor. Bring your own pack and play just in case.

My Tampa go-to hotel. Always good price, clean and comfortable bed. Add breakfast for a couple dollats more to the room makes it easy with kids.

I've been at better hotels for cheaper prices. They don't check in on you like one of the comments said. They don't have a free breakfast like most hotels do. The staff wasn't helpful at all and they even looked like they didn't want to be here. There isn't anything close for food and water in walking distance. I won't be recommending this place to my friends. The food here is expensive if you want breakfast. I've had better food at Bugerking and Wendy's.

This place is located in a nice hide-away area. The rooms were very nice with modern furniture. I enjoyed the free Wi-Fi in the rooms and free coffee in the lobby. The two shortcomings I found were the TV, which seemed small for the room size and the bed which was very hard.

10/07/2017 We booked a suite. Specified that it had to have 2 separate beds. We go to the room and it’s just one bed. Go down to talk to front desk, Steve. Huge attitude, not helpful at all. Said all he could do was have us get another room for $60. We already paid over $100 for 1 night. We declined. Steve offered a couple extra pillows and sheets for our friend to sleep on the floor. We declined. Steve has zero customer service. No clue how to talk to customers. We were tired from the theme parks. Grumpy. It’s 1:00am and we have nowhere to sleep because we got tricked into booking the wrong room. I went to a dark place and told Steve off. He replied “can’t hear you! ” Steve claims we will get our money back to our cards. But could not provide us with a Receipt. I’m writing this review from the IHOP 1 mile from this place. It’s 2:00am and we have a long ride home. Thanks Hilton Garden for an experience from hell. Please hire professional people who actually have an ounce of customer service ability.

First off awesome service excellent staff and just a good vibe enviroment. Its nice amd quiet. We were on the 3rd floor right above the pool. Beautiful view of scenery. Wish I had a chance to go down and eat in the dining room they have anytime I walked through the lobby it smelled amazing. Made my stomach growl even if I wasn't hungry.

Stayed here through hurricane Irma. Staff was great throughout the whole ordeal, I'm sure it's an even better experience without the whole weather thing. I know where I'm staying from now on! Right next to the interstate, literally 1 minute. Thanks Hilton Garden!

Pillows are soft as heaven, and the food is decent, didn't have much experience with staff, but what little interaction I did have was pleasant, rooms are cozy, and bathrooms are cleaned and well stocked, all in all an enjoyable experience.

Traveling for work with a team. Have no complaints. Hilton has provided everything as promised without letting us down.

A very nice hotel with attentive staff as far as the check in and check it is concerned, however I would not eat in their restaurant! I did and after sitting at my table for twenty minutes, I had to get up and go to the bar to order, I had to go to the bar to order drinks I had to go and ask for my food was on several occasions, my chicken wings were cold and on and on. Very unfriendly service, there are a number of restaurants around and I would utilize those rather than eat there!

Stayed here for a work event. The hotel itself is fine. It's clean and the staff is nice and friendly. The bed wasn't great and the a/c was really loud. The restaurant was good; breakfast was excellent and dinner was fairly good too. There really is nothing within walking distance to eat other than Wendy's.

This was my 1st stay in a Hilton, we found dirty underpants in our room. Besides that everything appeared clean. In the morning I attempted to make coffee with my Kuerig in room, but it was full of mold. I have pictures I will be sharing with the BBB. I was told the manager would contact me… he never did. I do however have his name to include in my letter to the BBB. Apparently, they don't care to please you the morning your checking in. Expected better for 120 a night.

Was truly impressed by this hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and bedding was comfortable and crisp. Lobby bartender makes a mean Bloody Mary cocktail (probably the best I have had). Convenient location. I could not say enough about how much I liked this hotel. I plan on staying there again soon.

This is a nice hotel. Start off with getting there. It was a little hard to find, but once I did, everything else was great. Flavored water and cookies up front for all to enjoy. $130 or so got me a king size bed on the 5th floor overlooking what appears to be a scenic conservation area between the hotel and the interstate. Room was decent sized with a microwave and mini fridge. Bathroom was clean. I think this hotel was recently renovated. Felt like eating in bed, so I ordered up a steak and some cocktail shrimp for about $40. It got there quick and was delicious (specifically the steak). They have a little restaurant downstairs as well if you want. Breakfast is not complimentary. Ask for a room away from the elevators to cut down on noise. Even with a mostly empty hotel, this seems to be the first place they want to stick customers. I'd visit again.

This hotel is updated, clean, and modern. They have a restaurant and bar but you can use a complimentary shuttle with a 5 mile radius to go where you please. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would love to stay again!

They made me feel very welcome, checked me in quickly, and the room was great. Next time in Tampa, this is where in staying as well.

The staff was pleasant and friendly. It was also the only training session I've attended where you can fill out a form early and they had lunch ready when we took our lunch break.

The staff was great. I misplaced something and they went out of there way to offer help.

Sleep number beds dont work because the air pockets are broken but it is nice to have feather pillows with out requesting them. Also nice that one pillow was a king sized one. Front desk staff was nice. Breakfast server was terrible and the omlette cook left out half the items requested eventhough there were no other patrons that he was cooking for. Not the best property but not the worst.

I travel to about 30 hotels a year and this one by far is one of my favorite. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful and the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make your time is enjoyable. They also have a great pool and work out room. I highly recommend this for someone coming for vacation or for business.

This is a nice hotel and I have stayed here many times over the past year. But the prices keep going up, and I don't think it is a good value anymore.

I went to a two day long work seminar at the Hilton Garden Inn. I cannot speak for the guest rooms but the conference area was extremely noisy with hotel staff in the adjacent areas. Lots of shouting and loud conversations and disruptive banging of furniture. This went on for quite some time. Also both lobby bathrooms were closed so we had to walk around the side of the building to use the facility outside. Food was good and the place was clean though.

Rooms are clean but a bit worn out. The breakfast buffet was of very poor quality.

What an amazing property! All staff members were very friendly, the hotel itself is super clean, all around wonderful.

I'm sitting here at 0033 and can't sleep. I'm in a hotel that does not care about their guests who want to sleep. People next door feel the need to party all night and the staff will do nothing about it. Pathetic. That's not the worse part. Urine on the toilet seat before anyone even used it. This Hilton is a joke. More like a motel 6.

My wife and I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn on our 40th wedding anniversary and the staff was great. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the food and wait staff was very good. We will go back again. Thanks to the the Manager for a very good team. .

This room is terrible! The bed is ridiculously hard and won't adjust, the shower head looks like it's never been cleaned and the carpet looks so gross I won't walk barefoot on it. I'm deeply disappointed to have such a terrible experience at a Hilton property. I certainly won't be back.

Bed was terrible. Room was old. Lady at front desk ruined my surprise for my trip all together. Worst of all, my girlfriend and I forgot her black diamond earrings on the night stand and called back quickly, $600 earrings GONE. I know we should have remembered them, I know. But I also know I would have returned them if I found them. Supposed to be a romantic new years eve, turned out the most expensive disappointment ever.

Loudest. Air conditioner. Ever. Don't expect to get any sleep, at least not for longer than the 5 minutes intervals of AC on/off. Also, generally not quite as nice as other Hilton Garden Inns I've stayed at.

This hotel is newer, clean and modern. Flat screens without HD content is a minus, however free Wi-Fi for Hilton Honors members is a plus.
