Very friendly and comfortable.

We have stayed here several times and love this hotel. The historical aspect is very interesting to us. The location is fantastic and the staff is absolutely wonderful. The rooms are quite large and we have enjoyed the restaurant and bar several times. We just had all of our out-of-town guests staying here for our daughter‘s wedding. Everyone loved it!

We originally planned to stay overnight, but because of the following experience, we decided to stay a second night.
1. I am a sucker for customer service! This trip I was traveling with 2 trucks and 2 boats and parking our rigs in the parking garage was not an option. Colleen Beran, the Front Desk Supervisor, said "No problem! " We parked along the curb next to the front door. She put cones out and said "we'll call if there's a problem. "
2. I travel a LOT for my business. Coming out of Covid I usually find hotel breakfast barely acceptable. Not the case here. Made to order omlets, great coffee bar… substantial and satisfying.
3. The base room was a suite and it was amazing… comfortable, clean and more than what we needed.

The rooms of huge freshly remodeled can't beat the place.

We stay here a couple of times a year, convenient location and great staff.

Nice people working at this place. The only thing that could have been better with the evening reception and breakfast. Also at night the hallways are very loud.

Staff was very friendly, I hate that covid limits the amount of cleaning to before and after the stay. We enjoyed our three days!

Parking is horrible
My husband handicap and there's no parking in garage because my truck doesn't even fit in and I didn't not know and there was no sign before pulling in and then now they said I have to pay $30 to pay in employee parking lot. Then I go to get a cart to bring bags in I get it outside and loaded to find the tires are flat on it and Mark aka door/ valet driver. Just keeps pushing my cart and then telling my husband to help

Everyone here is amazing! The front desk, bar tender, breakfast crew, cleaning crew, parking attendant have been so kind and helpful!

They have the worst customer service ever. I booked going with a group and was not given group rate when I called customer care was told they would get back to me within 3-5 days never happened. I just called again and they will not reimburse my money. One would think being a Honors member they would try to be accommodating. Also the front desk at this location were not nice at all. I explained my son recently passed away and I now was taking my grandson and they had no compassion. Do not recommend any Hilton's very poor customer service.

I loved it and the staff was amazing, our shuttle driver Mark was the man.

I was in town for a week long training for work. This was in walking distance of where it was being held. The open bar and snacks from 530-730 each night was wonderful!

Very poor customer services. The staff don’t seem to care. I exclusively stay at Hilton properties but this is by far the worst hotel I’ve stayed at.

The pool area could be a cleaner but the staff was excellent and very friendly and accommodating.

Great hotel, spacious rooms, pool, hot tub, and right off of I275.

Had room 1617 which is the 2 bedroom suite. Room was almost 80 degrees and when someone came to the room I was told, “ do you really expect this system to cool this big area? ”also, ask for towels and took hours to get them. Went to front desk to get towels and was told they knew we needed towels and would get them when housekeeping got them to us! When I spoke to the night mgt about the rudeness of the employee over the air basically nothing was done! When I checked out I again expressed how rude staff was how hot the room was and still nothing but, have a good day! I will never be back here!

We only stayed for a few days but this hotel is an ideal location for a larger family that is looking for time away. It is located access the street from a movie theater and shopping. It is within walking distance of restaurants and, although they do not have full kitchens, they do offer a section of the room dedicated to food preparation (heating in the microwave or refrigerating food). We will definitely visit again and enjoy the pool area as well as the patio and Cafe on floor 2. Breakfast was outstanding! My children looked forward to it the next day. I will be recommending it to my clients as well as booking them again in the future. Thank you for a wonderful stay and for your responsiveness when I did not receive my email receipt for one night of stay.

Upgraded to room 1617 the biggest they have. Superb! Great view of the bay the sunset and the airport.

Very nice suites, great hospitality, full hot and good breakfast. Very accommodating. Two big flat screen TV's. Loved my stay. OH! remotes need fresh batteries. I give them.

No hand soap in room and when I asked for more I was told they don’t have any, small room at the end of the building, and the room needed to be vacuumed.

Two room sweet is top notch. Bathroom is updated. Room is updated and clean. The parking garage could use an elevator so if you self park you have to carry your luggage with you. I've had better embassy suite breakfast and I've had worse. Middle of the road isn't bad. The seating area for breakfast is nothing special plain tables separated from the main dining area leave you feeling isolated but it works. I'd stay again.

Location is great — right by the International Mall and Westshore Mall. Westshore Mall is worse in every way than International except for the fact that it has a movie theater. The room was huge — way bigger than a typical hotel room and pretty modern room. The dinner and lounge area wasn't the greatest experience — but the workout center and pool were pretty nice. The service is great too — very kind staff. All around a nice hotel in a nicer part of Tampa.

Great room size, good location. Great front desk staff, comfortable bed, relatively quiet away from elevators. Shuttle drivers are sometimes unsafe. Elevators very very very slow at peak times. Cleanliness leaves lots to be desired — I had hairs in the tub that weren't mine when I first used the room. Door sill between sleep area and bathroom too elevated, very easy to stub toes. Edit: it has been over two weeks of me trying to contact the hotel about an important item I left behind, and no one has gotten back to me, just promises to talk to the head housekeeper. I've exhausted every phone call, online message, email, etc. This feels like exceedingly poor customer service. I've downgraded my review from 3 to 2 stars.

Terrible experience. I walked out and took at least 5 other patrons with me. I was there to attend a 2-day seminar. Day one was great. Day 2 parking was suddenly and inextricably not complimentary ($8 per person). The manager and staff wouldn't budge and said we should just have be grateful it was accidentally free the day before. I decided not to budge either. We all ate lunch at their restaurant the first day (a combined bill that exceeded $140), so to greedily grasp $42 in parking, they lost not only the $42 since we walked out of the seminar, but also the extra day of lunch, and potentially positive reviews instead of this negative one. We weren't the only people who left either. I would venture to say Free Pryor seminars probably won't be using them again, either, after they receive several demands for a refund today, since they did not disclose parking would be charged. It's too bad incompetence and poor customer service still exist today, but I can say Embassy suites on Westshore is still afflicted by both. I would be embarrassed if that hotel was part of my district. That type of experience simply shouldn't happen, from the bottom up. If the concierge or manager can't make a call to save 6 clients, then the chain has a serious leadership problem. Just disappointing. As far as the hotel itself is concerned, location is okay. 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown, 45 minutes from any beach.

Nice hotel walking distance From the Westshore Mall. When I checked and early the lady at the front desk it was very nice and accommodating and found me a room. I really love the fact that they have a reception from 530 till 730 each night that provides cocktails and snacks. They also have free made to order breakfast. At breakfast they also offer other things such as bacon, eggs, grits, pancakes, fruit and more. I was the morning please with the service at the breakfast. The lady that was cooking the omelettes as well as the black lady that was helping to keep the area clean were so happy and friendly and I’ve never seen hotel employees so happy to be at work. The reason they are getting a four instead of a five is that my room was not clean. They did apologize and brought me up immediately the things I need it as well is it to me. Also although the lobby is spectacular, they need to update a few of the features in the room because there was a rust in my bathroom. I love the very large size of the suite and I have a separate kitchen. I will definitely stay here again. Oh and parking is $11 per day for you can valet park.

You know I use to be a fan of the Embassy Suites, but that is slowly diminishing. So we decided to go to Busch Garden be we checked in. Got to the hotel about 5:30pm. Let’s start; 1. They gave my suite away. Offered to take $50 off for a little smaller suite in the back. No wait First I wasn’t greeted like I was really welcomed to the Embassy. After I told him my name he said Id, your AAA card and your credit card for payment. Then he told me they gave my room away because I didn’t call and let them know I was going to be late. 3. The toilet and the sink in the restroom was stopped up. And 4. The parking. Oh the parking! No spaces in valet. (Then you make some) because we had to pay to park. And if I’m going to pay 12.00 for parking I may as well add the other $3 for valet. I was hella pissed bout that. But outside of that the rooms were clean, happy hour was on point, pool time for kids was awesome, & breakfast was good. Let me not forget how slow room service was and how slow the elevators were. It took 15 minutes to get from the 10 floor to the lobby.

Great customer service! Clean rooms, friendly staff. Nice FREE breakfast choices, & evening snacks. The kids would have stayed @ the pool our whole trip if we would have let them. Very accommodating staff anything you need they're right on top of it! Bartenders are also fun & friendly! Location is awesome, right in the middle of any/every destination.

This hotel does not have any care about customer service. On our second room and still no crib after 3 calls, no one helped get a cart or tried to find one when we checked in and generally they have a mentality amongst the staff of “were not happy until your not happy! ” Sad! Don’t stay here if in the area as it is not a good place!

I am 19 years old and could not check in to the room that I booked online. I am married and my husband is going into the Army, but because I am under 21 I could not check in to my room. So I had to wait for almost an hour for my mother in law to come and check me in. Then I get to my room and I move the covers on my bed and there was sand and hair in my bed. So they moved us to a new room and we get to the new room and there is strands of hair in the shower. I will never go back here again it was disgusting.

Clean and comfortable and very spacious rooms. The complimentary breakfast had a great selection of items and included an omelette station. The service was also very good!

This particular Embassy Sure was very aesthetically pleasing. The lobby was probably top 2 nicest looking Embassy lobbies I've seen. The bartenders in the restaurant bar were friendly and helpful when we got a drink one night and needed to borrow their wine opener the next night.

A standard three star Embassy Suites by Hilton hotel. Perks are the bigger rooms you get, decent hot breakfast in the mornings and proximity to the Westshore mall and most importantly it's barely a 5 minute drive to Tampa Airport. They do have semi decent meeting and conference rooms. Makes it a convenient location if you want to host something in the Tampa Bay area. There is plenty of self parking options available and valet parking at around 7 bucks if you so choose. Check out the attached picture.

Lost and found has told me they have the things my daughter left in our room and has failed to follow through with returning them now after 3 weeks. After 2 emails to Herbert, half dozen voicemails I have left, 3 phone conversations with other different employees at the hotel that assured me they would “make sure” my request would be followed up on, I still don’t have my daughter’s things. Last night the person that answered said the log showed I had called and they still had our property, took my information again, and claimed he would follow up to make sure UPS called me today and would also call me to make sure it was all taken care of. Guess what? No call from either UPS or Embassy Suites. I called back tonight to find out what happened and got voicemail again. Really?!?! Not exactly the kind of customer service I would expect from a Hilton hotel. After writing this review yesterday, today UPS called. Thank you Embassy Suites for finally resolving this.

You exceeded our expectations with the fresh Hydrangeas and beautiful table decor. The Shepard's pie was the best I have ever had. Please thank your outstanding team for all of us!

Super clean rooms and friendly staff. Located across from the mall with eating options. Pool is nice and relaxing. Garage parking. Lobby was soothing with a wall waterfall and a swing.

Rooms were nice and clean. Pool was a hit with the kids. The particular front desk agent we dealt with could use a refresher in customer service but the manager of the breakfast restraunt was terrific. Someone needs to come and steal this gentleman for their staff. It's nice to find this level of customer service is still out there, just seems a waste in a hotel breakfast.

Not up to the usual standards I have come to expect at an Embassy Suites. Things didn’t start well when we sat at the airport for over 40 minutes after calling for the shuttle pickup. They are less than 5 minutes away. The Doubletree courtesy driver was kind enough to drop us off; thanks also to the driver from The Grand who offered to come back for us because he’d seen us sitting there while he had made 3 separate pickups. When I mentioned this to the lady at checkin her response was “Ooh”… not even an apology. I guess being an Hilton HHonors member really doesn’t mean a thing. The room was cold; the furnishings were stark — no style and looked old. There is no coin laundry for guest as stated on their website. At checkout the lady stopped to take a telephone all. Instead of asking the person to hold, she proceeded to discuss the caller’s reservation meanwhile the shuttle that I am supposed to be taking to the airport is loading up and getting ready to leave. I don’t understand why she was taking so long with me because my room was prepaid and my receipts are emailed. Customer service lessons or retraining is definitely needed. I will not be back to this establishment.

The rooms are spacious. They have a separate room for the refrigerator and sink. The bedroom is isolated nicely from the living areas. The free breakfast and happy hour drinks (5pm to 7pm) are awesome. Right across the street from and indoor mall. The TVs are huge. Pay to park is not so nice, but other than that I recommend.

My wife and I stayed here 7 nights while Christmas holidays. The staff were exceptional, the hotel was very clean and the perfect location for entertaining and shopping. Employees were extremely helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was great with a lot of options. Highly recommend! We will be back soon!

Hotel with large rooms, excellent service and restaurant.

Good location, next to International Plaza and by I-275. Minutes from Night life and great restaurants. The set-up of the restaurant is a bit awkward, service was ok not the best. The hotel is old but recently remodeled.

We were at Embassy Suites for an event and it was just so mediocre. The valet and one of the front desk employees were nice and helpful but every other interaction we had was less than optimal. The event was catered by the hotel because they don't allow food from outside the hotel (which I honestly do understand) but the food that has a 150% mark up was equivalent to awful prison food. My final complaint would be that when an event costs over $1000 for crappy food and a room the size of my living room you would hope Wi-Fi would be included but we were told it was be an additional charge. We would've been better off staying home.

I went there for an event. The room was tiny and expensive for what you get. I do not recommend having any events there. The staff were courteous and great… Just the pricing was awful.

Great hotel with great view on the Gulf or Downtown Tampa.

The hotel is always clean, and the reception in the lobby from 5:30-7:30 is refreshing to go to after work. Slightly annoying that they allow people to come through and slip menus for take out under the door during the week, only because I would have expected the hotel to have a higher standard than that. The hotel bartenders are great, especially JP, and the food is not bad either. I also find it a little annoying that they charge HHonors members (or customers in general) for parking, but such is life.

Im staying with my family, and so far its been great! The service is awesome, there when you need them, away when you dont.

I would highly recommend the Embassy Suite by on Hilton That to anyone staying in the area. I am staying for 5nights and it was made to feel very comfortable. The rooms are very spacious having separate room for living, sleeping, and small kitchen area being separate. I t was nice to have an area outside of the bathroom with a shelf and two mirrors for dressing with two of us, being business and vacation. Just having so much room, being so clean the quiet, the large pool, and the staff always polite has made this a a relaxing trip. I forgot to mention the the appetizers and drinks in the evening and breakfast are also a great bonus.

When we got there at 11pm were given a suite that was under renovation! We went back to the front desk and were given another one under renovation! The third one was okay but the the TV in the room only would tune paid channels. Bathtub didn't drain properly. Breakfast was okay. Last surprise: they charge you to park your car at the hotel.

We have to spend 2 weeks in Tampa for my surgery, Embassy Suites is the perfect fit. I love my husband dearly but having enough room to escape each other is wonderful. There is a living area separate from the bedroom. We have an actual couch plus table & chairs. No need to sit on the bed & try to balance dinner on your lap. We also have a separate kitchen area with a fridge & microwave. The best part of our room is the little dressing area. A well lit counter with a comfy seat. Sitting to dry my hair alleviated so much back pain. They have free breakfast & it's actually good. Fresh cooked omelets as well as the usual assortment of grab & go. If that wasn't enough they have happy hour free drinks & snacks. So far everything about our stay is positive.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The suites are beautiful with a gorgeous city view. They include a sitting area, vanity, and "kitchen" area (no stove). The bar has happy hour from 5:30 to 7:30. The cafe fid is delicious and I loved the made to order complementary breakfast. The pool area is beautiful and includes a hot tub. Definitely the best hotel I've used in Tampa.

Stayed in this hotel Dec 13, 2015. The check-in process was substandard (including the employee initially giving me a smoking room). The hotel is being renovated however the floor I was on had very old carpeting. The toilet in my room was not properly cleaned from the previous guest. The happy hour cocktail bar was mostly unattended because the bartender stayed inside the adjoining cash bar. The snacks during the happy hour were either cold, from being left uncovered, or dry/overcooked due to being left over the heat lamp too long. The only good part of this stay was the breakfast. Really disappointing stay.

Long check in process. Only 1 person working to check in people. Room was comfortable and clean. We went to the beach and came back surprised to find towels replaced, our beds made (they tucked in the kids stuffed animals they brought from home) and trashed emptied. Yummy, free hot breakfast, good selection too. Having silverware was somewhat a problem. All the workers were pleasant.

The location, customer service, and overall amenities were great. However, I believe housekeeping staff should do a better job on cleaning the rooms. I saw some mold around the bath tub an tiles. Dirt ring in the toilet bowl, and stains on the carpet and wall. Cleanliness is a major factor for me, so I consider the standards of this hotel way below what I have seen in other Embassy Suites and other Hilton brands.
