I was there 2 nights earlier this month visiting family in Valrico, FL. It's conveniently located and the rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was up-to-date and logically laid out. There's also a complimentary breakfast each morning, which is a great idea. There's cereal, fresh fruit, oatmeal, a waffle station, various pastries, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, different kinds of juice, milk and a coffee station. It's easy to find in the lobby, just follow the coffee smell!

We loved staying here. Everything was so nice. The room was so nice and clean. Shower was great. Breakfast was great. Pool was just right and the staff was amazing. I highly recommend staying here.

Great rooms, very clean, daytime staff was amazing, and the breakfast was very good for continental and free. The lady who works Saturday nights, however, hates her job and not very hospitable.

This place is terrible. Ants in the breakfast area, vending machines take your money without dispensing product and I get woken up at 530am everyday by the staff member emptying the ice machine for the sub par breakfast buffet. Stay anywhere else but here.

Elevator was scary. Staff was awesome except for the extremely weird janitor. I mean scary guy. But it was ok. Beds were horrid. Coffee was good.

Okay stay. The age is showing on this property. The parking situation is odd and leaves you parking in areas that aren't as lit as they can be. I think that after all these years of staying in hotels, I'm ready to upgrade my bottom line hotel to something a little more comfortable, like a Hilton Garden Inn.

Chose this hotel because of location and price. Convenience to gulf coast beaches and to Legoland was important. Hotel and staff were great. Will likely go to this hotel again.

Spent three nights here. One of the best Hamptons ever and I have stayed in, many. Beds excellent… cleanliness… excellent… staff … excellent. Breakfast … absolutely delicious… clean and filling. Endless hot coffee! Highly recommend.

Everything was fine except for the reservations. Someone had taken the 4 rooms and put a name on each one, instead of placing all 4 under the name of the person paying for it. Your mistake created confusion with the ladies which caused a rift between two of them. The first lady gave the paying persons name and was told we had one room reserved, so you asked for a second name. That second woman walked up to pay for her room causing the first woman to think she was trying to take control of the situation, not knowing she only wanted to pay for her room. You asked for a 3rd and 4th name and found the other 2 rooms. Poor way of doing business. Next time you reserve for a group, ace all names under ONE person, not 4.

Very nice stay. Rooms were very clean. Staff is friendly. Ample parking.

I made a delivery to this place and the people were very helpful and friendly and I didn't get to see the rooms but very clean and organized.

Horrible. Outdated. Stains. Mattresses are all springs and no padding, dingy and very used! Carpet nails coming through padding. Water stains on ceiling tiles. Stains on bed linens. Old paint chipping. I will never stay at another Hampton Inn without inspecting the rooms first hand. Front desk slow but very nice. A/C works well, and hot water endless. Pool poorly maintained.

The room was ok, but it smelled like someone had been smoking in it. I probably wouldn't stay here again if I had a choice. They did comp the room so I give them credit for that.

It was a time in history when hurricane Irma was hitting us hard. The manager Shannon, husband Jason and myself and few other wonderful people. All supported the crew of 4 to keep all calm. During this terrible storm. Shannon Jason and there family. Should be rewarded for their effort in this time if need of all that stayed there. The company should be proud and reward them. They went above and beyond their call of duty. I give them so much credit for what they did. They deserve a free vacation. God bless them!

This property features a guest room design that I'm not particularly fond of, but otherwise I had no complaints. It's a pretty solid location as far as ease-of-access goes, and the area is pretty conducive to dining out.

Checked my mother in to get AC and electric due to our lack of same because of Hurricane Irma. They made her feel safe and comfortable.

Stingiest Hampton We've ever stayed at. Two of us, so two hand wrags, two hand towels, two bath towels, about 12 tissues, and one waste can in the room. Heaven help you if you drop a hand rag on the floor or want to take more than one bath. Small ants in the room make me wonder if they treat for insects. I've stayed at better and in worse areas.

Nice room with clean updated furnishings. Very nice service. Decent Continental breakfast.

Clean Rooms, Great Staff, Adequate Hot Breakfast, and cold A/C in the rooms. Access off of I-75 is a little challenging, but overall easy enough.

Clean lobby and rooms. Friendly staff and comfortable beds. Good price for what you get.

A little hard to find at night but it was a good stay. Charlotte fixed an error that corporate couldn't take care of. Great service.

Hotel was nice! Check-In was smooth. The manager was a great help. The woman at the front desk, Charlotte was helpful as well. Room was clean, no complaints. The complementary breakfast was also a plus! I will definitely book another stay at this location.

One star — Because the lowest you can rate is one star! I traveled to Tampa to go to the Busch gardens for last Christmas. We booked a room at this location. We reached at night on the 23rd December 2015. The next day morning when we left for Busch gardens, I found a chunk of my car's bumper has fallen off, very clear someone rear ended the car at night. I called the cops; but because there was no one in the car at the time of the incidence,, they did not register a hit and run case. I reported the incident to the manager on duty and she promised she would look at security videos and let me know. My insurance registered a claim as uninsured motorist and told me if I get a video clip from the hotel, the copay will be refunded. The Manager next day showed me the video of a white colored passenger van on her cell phone (Yes, like the ones Hotels use for courtesy van). She said she could not get a clip because the owner Mr. Patel was traveling and was in India. I kept following up by sending emails and making phone calls but no email was responded and the phone calls were answered by the front office staff saying" We do not know when Mr. Patel is expected, he comes and goes when he wants and we do not have a schedule for him". No one responded for a month so I reported the incident to BBB. The BBB sent me an email after two weeks saying the business has not responded.

Check in was good. The king bed was solid hard, like laying only on a box spring. Also lots of Semi-truck noise due to the transfer station located next to hotel. Very loud engines. AC unit is also loud. Would not book again.

There's a reason why they are the cheapest family of Hilton Brands in the area, the building is out of date and they still have smoking rooms.

The worst experience ever. Rude and disrespectful staff. They charged my friends credit card for her entire stay before we even arrived. They also cancelled my room at 3pm which is usual check in time… I arrived there about 10 pm with a 6month old baby and my daughter (we were staying there with her school for a school function in tampa) to find myself looking for another room. They never contacted me to tell me they would be canceling my room. No email, no voice mail, no call. 4hour trip, and looking forward to checking into my room. Luckily, I was able to find another room (at the time all hotels were heavily book for this school event) at a better rate on the beach, no thanks to this organization. I was very upset as I had booked my room 3 months in advance. It appears something unethical was happening between the staff when I was there, because they were disappearing into the back, and different people would come to the front desk then disappear again. Very un — professional. When I arrive home from my trip I will be writing a letter to the Hampton inn headquarters naming all the staff I was forced to have to speak to. I have never experienced such a disaster as this front desk fiasco. I would strongly suggest another hotel for your visit.

We arrived a little early for check-in. The lady at the front desk, Charlotte, was extremely nice and efficient. Personally talked with the staff to ensure the room was ready; then called us after we were in our room to ensure the room met our expectations. Breakfast was good, and check-out was so easy. The hotel lobby, bathroom, and room were very clean. Our room with a king size bed was a little small, but adequate. Thanks for making our stay a breeze.

The staff is amazing. I have stayed here two times this month with two little kids. The staff all were so kind, and helpful. The pool is a little smaller for our taste, and it's no Homewood. But for cost, and area it's a great find. The breakfast is okay, great fresh waffles and fruit, with a different hot breakfast depending on what day it is. The beds are comfy and it's clean and quiet. We will definitely be staying here again!
