Friendly staff reasonable price and pretty nice looking facility in general I would definitely recommend to anyone.

Nice hotel but there was a teen basketball tournament in the area and the hotel was home to many of them and their parents. Both parents and kids were out of control. Running yelling knocking on room doors and running away. Several guests including myself notified the desk several times and the only result was having the parents join in the inappropriate behavior. I don’t think the hotel should take on these groups without having security to manage when teenagers are teenagers.

Very nice. Comfortable, clean and very friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in the area.

Housekeeping very rude when they were able to answer any questions family placed there due to home fire seperated entire time when had ajoined rooms available. Our family booked inn at low disdvcount rate hotel forces us to leave to get higher rate for rooms due to dog show and high demand for pet friendly rooms. Night shift was very nice courteous thank you for all your kindness. First shift. Sh o uld look into new career options worst experience outside of fire itself.

Very clean and safe. Hot breakfast was better than I expected. Beds were comfy. AC was cold.

This hotel would get a much higher rating if not for the maintenance / housekeeping department… My room was very nice, bed was very comfy, front desk personnel were very kind and the hotel is soundly built. This hotel also had the first hotel fridge I've had in weeks that didn't freeze my salad. Now for the bad… 1) My toilet seat was broken, it appeared as if it had been that way and had been neglected for quite some time. 2) After working an 18 hour shift, I had finally laid down and drifted off. I woke up to a red head woman cackling, joking and yelling at various other employees in the hallway. She was having a good time, who cares about the guests, particularly the ones with "Do Not Disturb" signs posted? I asked this woman to please keep it down, nicer than I usually might when lacking sleep. I advised this woman that my coworker and I had not rested and of the hours we worked. She only semi acknowledged me. I closed my door only to hear her go right back to it. This went on for another twenty minutes or so. Apparently she has forgotten than her manager might sign her check, but the guests pay the bills. Every time I saw her in the hallway after that, I got the stink eye. 4) Upon checking in, I discovered all the flat surfaces in my room were sticky, I can't understand how or why this could happen. I had to use a hand towel to wipe them down.

Dont stop here unless your used to a hotel that has "residents". They walk around like they own the place. Ragetty clothing like their at their mothers house. Also, get to the "breakfast area" quick if you want your complimentary "breakfast". The "residents" usually clear that out as well. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR A FAMILY OR VACATIONERS! Truck drivers and transients would feel right at home. P. S the place also smells like mildew and pet urine.

La Quinta was perfect for our needs. Clean and simple, with a cute little eating area for breakfast. Nothing innovative or mind blowing, but a very simple pleasant visit. The rooms were standard, the bed was comfortable enough.

Hotel staff has been awesome! John the night clerk was very nice and helpful. And then I left some clothes hanging in the closet and then Alexa called as a courtesy call to let me know the hotel is holding them. Hotel is clean, staff is nice, definitely recommend!

We loved this La Quinta! The bed was thankfully comfortable, and everyone there was kind and helpful. The room was very nicely appointed, and super clean. They are pet friendly, and made Daisy feel as at home as they did us. The breakfast was ample, with a really nice assortment of choices, and it was very tasty. There were coffee and cookies available throughout the day, and let me tell you, their coffee is delicious! The pool was very nice, with a beautiful hot tub as well. Overall, we really felt we got so much more than we paid for! I strongly recommend this La Quinta! We have and will definitely return! A big thank you for a thumbs up/Like if my review was helpful!

Great spot to stop rest shower use the hot tub, pool or the weight room. Clean rooms free Wi-Fi and close to restaurants.

So definitely better than I expected. It was very clean, friendly staff. The bed was EXTREMELY hard so that stunk. I was surprised at them having mini fridges in the room because of the hotel type. I never stay in nothing less than a Hilton but this was the only thing with good reviews, available and a reasonable price. I guess I stopped in this part of town in the “on season” because typically a hotel of this type would be only $65-$100 maximum I’m thinking. We paid $156 plus tax bringing it to $175. What I really appreciated was them having the air at 67 degrees upon arrival because most of the hotels in my life either have the air off or really high to save money which is horrible because then I have to lower the air and it takes forever to get the room at a decent temp to be able to sleep. So that was awesome I would like to really thank them for that! The toilet trees are of Pantene brand so that was a nice little touch. Breakfast is eh so rather go out for that. For like a 2-3 star hotel, not bad I give it four stars. I would stay here again but not for more than one night because the bed is seriously uncomfortable.

This place is so clean, all the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful. And they are pet friendly so I got to meet a bunch of dogs and I know Apollo will be smelling my luggage when I get home and be a little upset I did not bring him. Great place to stay. Convenient for travel and food also.

Took several minutes to find someone to check us in at 4 pm. Not a big deal. Room smells really bad. Musty? Got a spray from the front desk, but not effective. Room seems clean otherwise, but not impressed so far. Would like an actual exhaust fan in the bathroom. Cheaper than the HI Express across the street. Not staying, staying with family I didn't want to stay with.

Pro rooms are spacious. King room with sofa bed. Some of the furniture dated. Bathroom clean and enough towels. Staff at hotel friendly. Cons noisy a. C. In room units made room feel damp also odor of pet urine. Bed was extremely hard and after being out all day from 8 am to 4:30 pm room had not been cleaned.

Staying here for a month due to my job. I met some of the staff. The maintenance man James stands out the most. Very polite and helpful. Super nice place with staff that go the extra mile.

It's not bad. A few issues with the room but an otherwise OK stau.

Staff is excellent. Front desk is always bright, smiling, and helpful. The cleaning staff, especially Kelly, are wonderful and attentive. There are occasionally fresh baked cookies in the afternoon (maybe everyday, but I might have missed them). Rooms are clean and spacious, especially for the King room when staying for over a week, including a living area and desk. The HOT TUB is very welcome and perfect temperature! The pool is excellent and comfortable on the feet. There is an outdoor picnic area and two charcoal grills that make a great spot for a steak — — a very nice treat to be able to make my own meal after several days of travel and dining out. The only place for improvement is the generic powdered egg breakfast and bland coffee; but this is the same for just about every hotel.

Beautiful motel. Allows pets. Competitive price. Cracker Barrel, and Burger King a block away, without having to drive back onto a main street.

Lobby, meeting room and bathrooms were clean and have a modern look. Complimentary refreshments were available in the lobby area.

I stayed at this hotel the night before an important licensing exam. I had read and compared reviews for many of the hotels in the area including this one. Booking was easy and affordable. Service: Every time I called, the staff were patient with my questions and friendly. When I arrived, Alexa at the front desk was very helpful and kind. My room keys didn't work at first and she corrected the issue immediately and with a smile (I know this is expected of hotel staff, but as you can see, some people feel they've been treated poorly by management; just remember, some people aren't satisfied no matter what service they receive). David was great with my checkout the next morning. Although I've had better, the breakfast selection was decent. Cleanliness: My room was very clean. The first thing I do when I get to a hotel room is search diligently for bugs in the sheets and in the bathrooms. I did not find a single bug anywhere. Many rooms seem to be undergoing renovation. I was very satisfied with the cleanliness of the room. Ivanka, the woman who prepared my room, left friendly notes and did a great job cleaning. Amenities: I loved the pool and hot tub. It was just what I needed the night before my six hour exam. The area was very relaxing and the whirlpool was nice and hot. I didn't use any other amenities during my stay, so I can't speak to the gym, etc. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. I had a great stay. Thank you, staff!

Our room was very nice & roomy. Maid service was good. Good complimentary breakfast in the morning & cookies in the afternoon! Friendly staff. Great location!

A less than stellar stay on our weekend here for a Basketball tournament. Our room was on the 3rd floor and smelled of smoke upon entry and in the bathroom! (This is a non-smoking hotel as posted on their walls?! ) Because the hotel was full they chose to give us a can of air freshner instead of coming to see about the issue themselves. In addition, myself and my daughter have asthma and allergies respectively. The AC unit was not functioning properly and we all had a rough nights sleep! To fix the problem we complained to the point that an off duty manager was finally called and we were comped a night's stay and moved to another room the next day. Not the best stay and probably won't be coming back!

Good service. Staff was able to help our needs. We needed an air filter for our room and they were able to get one quickly. Also the price was worth the stay.

Very clean. Exceptional service. All the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. It was obvious from the moment we walked in thr lobby they wanted everything to be perfect for all the guest.

The rooms were nice enough having had a free voucher after our plane was canceled. They offered free shuttle services to and from the airport whose driver was very friendly. Breakfast was very nice with the exception of unclear instructions on how to use a waffle iron. Over all a nice visit!

Everyone was nice to us, rooms were clean and quiet, breakfast was good for what we've paid. And they have truck parking which was great since we had 2 trucks.

Rooms need updating. Why call yourself suites if you dont have any, as I was told when I inquired.

Very nice place. Only one thing I consider extremely wrong, not even one person (maintenance employee) on call to take care emergencies or "low emergency situation" such NO AC in the room. Room temperature over 80° for the whole night, (last day of the week) and only a "I'm sorry" and some porcentaje off from that night we received. By the way, we spend seven days here… So they collect a good money from us!

Unfortunately I forgot a very nice jacket in the closet after my stay and called back later about it. Wasn't turned into lost n found and clerk said the staff wasn't dishonest! So where is it? I know for a fact I didn't retrieve it from the closet & it isn't in the lost and found so this tells me someone is dishonest! Sorry.

Stayed here for a night with my 60 pound dog. This hotel seems to get a lot of repeat customers — the front desk staff knew people on a first name basis. Good: * clean rooms * comfortable beds * fridge and microwave in rooms * pet areas are clean * free cookies in breakfast area if you get there early Bad: * check in process was slow * breakfast area pretty small for the number of guests that stay there — total chaos with just one person trying to restock food and supplies * for the price, breakfast options not all that different than a typical budget chain (fruits, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea)

This La Quinta in Port Charlotte was very nice. It was clean, pretty and the staff was great. We will definitely be staying there again.

Good location, close to interstate, pet friendly, but do not allow enough time for housekeepers to clean thoroughly. Friendly staff, dirty air conditioner vents, only 1 working washer and dryer for over a month. Dirty carpets, hallways too. Best employee is Lucy, makes breakfast popular for this hotel. Found large amount of blood and two other substances on underside of bed skirt, no apology from management, lots of pet hair around bed, corners. Hard working housekeepers, company care more about profits than hiring enough staff.

This place is a dump. Stayed here for (2) days when relocating to town, and that was 2 days to long. Arrived at the hotel check into our room, which was stained beyond cleaning, on walls and doors. I let that go, then went to relax in the (HOT) tub. It was ice cold hotel repair man walks over, and says I think it will get hot soon. The arbor over the hot tub is falling apart, along with the rooms at this location. Then comes later that evening. Keep in mind its a beautiful Florida night, turn my TV on to have all but (3) channels. I call to the front desk to ask whats going on with the cable, to be told by Melinda it's due to the storm. I said you do realize we are at the same location and its not storming, she then started to over talk me, so I decided to end the conversation. She then calls back five minutes later, to say sir you are aware basic channels are working. I leave a message for Judith (manager) and I use that term loosely, no phone call. I then call her she says oh I am sorry there is nothing we can do for you. I have to extend after this for (1) more day due to other hotels being booked. And here we are 7:40 pm the next night, cable is out yet again. Contact front desk another employee answers, and he says they are having issues with the new boxes installed. But yet they know the hotel has all these issues and still don't hesitate to charge you full price. And then because the hotel was so full they raised the rate tonight knowing the issues at hand.

Enjoyed tea and cookies and HBO movies after arriving. Breakfast was great with Lucy and her kindness. She is a funny and a positive employee. Maintenance quickly responded to our needs when the front desk called him. Thank you. We will come again.

Traveling for the first time with our dog and this was a great hotel experience. Very clean, nice amenities,, and the staff are all super friendly and helpful. They have dog treats at the front desk when you check in. Nice touch. Good location with easy access to the surrounding area. Price reasonable.

Hotel was clean, but had the smallest rooms I have ever seen in a La Quinta hotel. If you have children or more than two people, I would avoid this hotel.

Fantastic service. Our airline canceled our flight and I'm so glad they put us here. The hotel is clean and the staff is very very helpful. When we had issues printing our boarding passes they let us use the office computers. Can't praise this place enough.

Great hotel. Stay here often for work and they are always helpful and very nice. Rooms are very nice and clean. Breakfast was good, better than most I've come across. Recommend to anyone looking for a nice hotel for a very reasonable price.

Worst hotel ever. Horrible staff. I will never be back and will tell every body I know not to go there ever. The skinny blonde girl at the front desk (not sure of her name) should be fired. Unless you like your business being run by hitler. Never once have I been told that I cant come out of my room after 10 pm. She even called the cops. Again I say worst hotel ever.

I spend 11 nights in December 2008 and was made to feel very welcome; the staff were all so friendly. I was back there in March 2009 and this were still as good. The hotel is new and definitely up to standard for this class of hotel. Breakfast is filling and varied though I think the waffles may have proved an over indulgence on my part! However, if you do not appreciate the properties of a good, firm bed you may get a shock when you sleep so well! It even made me realise that I must update my own bed. How about a sound baffle wall for the pool area.
