Wonderful experience especially it being my Birthday weekend. Such history and beauty staying at the Collector Inn! Highly recommend to everyone and plan on booking again this time with the family during the holidays.

The collector did not disappoint! We were truly blown away! The ladies at check in were top notch super sweet! The guys who helped with the car were AMAZING truly awesome guys! The bartender absolutely pretty cool great recommendations for places to visit! The rooms were beautiful and CLEAN! I can’t thank you enough for that! We will most definitely be back! Every staff member here was SO SWEET this past week I truly hated to leave! Oh & if you love sangria it is a MUST have here it taste like Christmas in a cup 🎄❤️💚😍

Very beautiful rooms and property! also loved that it was within walking distance to downtime. The pool was relaxing and we had a wonderful time sitting and talking by the fire pits at night! Also, Jamie, (the lady that checked us in) was so nice and helpful! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Collector! I loved strolling through the gardens and relaxing on the porch. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and would LOVE to come back in the future. The charm of the historic homes, the perfect location and the helpful staff exceeded our expectations!

We just completed our second stay at The Collector Inn. It is by far the absolute best place to stay in St. Augustine. We will definitely be returning again.

I absolutely love the historic rooms, beautiful decor, and central location of this Inn. The Well bar is a wonderful asset for guests as well. If you love to socialize and meet new people, this place will not disappoint. My only complaint would be the noise level. It’s really only quiet enough to sleep from about Midnight-6am between patron and city noise.

Booked a King Suite only to find there are no chairs to sit on at dinning table. Asked the front desk to send some over and they told me they don’t have any. How can you charge this amount of money and not have chair to sit at the table. The internet barely works and it’s quite noisy Save your money and stay at a service oriented hotel. This place is a waste.

The Collector I could see Hemingway staying here. For the mid to late1900th century buildings that gives you the feel of your own apartment. The friendly helpful staff and o yes the on site bar.
Just a block away u will find the old city house and restaurant that has excellent dining and when you are there ask for Mack and he will provide u excellent service. Take it from us we come to Augustine once or twice a year we found a new and excellent get away spot.

We loved our stay! The grounds were absolutely beautiful and well kept. We had rocking chairs on our own private porch. It was such a unique experience compared to staying in a chain hotel. I highly recommend staying here, staff was very friendly! All around awesome!

My husband and I always have gone on a 3 day cruise for our anniversary. With the cruise lines shut down, we decided on St Augustine. Found "The Collector" and when we walked in we knew this place is amazing. We can't even express how wonderful our experience was. We called it a "Secret Garden" of tranquility and romance. I would give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband and I loved our stay at The Collector! In fact, we stayed an extra night because we loved it so much! Try and make it to one of the tours of grounds — you learn about the history of the property and how it became the inn we enjoy! You can’t beat the beauty of the gardens and grounds, the history, the location, and the hospitality! From the lobby staff to the valets — everyone is kind and helpful, and you can tell they love this property. We will 100% be staying here again!

I want to give this resort a 5⭐ rating, however I can't, maybe a 4⭐. Pros — Absolutely beautiful. It's like a secret garden. We stayed in the Spear Room with a Veranda and the room was beautiful… the bed was so comfy. The room was a 10! The staff was very friendly. Cons — The Well which is the tavern on the grounds (one of the reasons we chose this resort) closed the day we got there and it never reopened. We asked why and was never given an answer. The Well is a beauty place with perfect setting outside around the pool and a fire pit. Perfect for Nap Caps. However, we never experienced it. I was under the impression we would recieve 2 complimentary cocktails with our package, however I assume that was eliminated due to The Well being closed. In addition, due to Covid-19 there was no maid service. The Continental Breakfast was very average. The pool was very small… but very pretty. It was very noisy as super early in the mornings we heard doors slamming and people running the halls or steps. There are only 3 rooms on our floor so I am not sure what was going on. Overall I would still recommend this resort. It's beauty is worth seeing.

The property and amenities are absolutely incredible, however, the true gem of the historic inn and gardens was the immensely thoughtful, genuine staff. Every interaction we had from the time we arrived to our departure was pleasant and made us feel thoroughly welcome. Following our experience, there is nowhere we would rather stay in St. Augustine than The Collector!

This is an amazingly awesome and historical property! Such a tranquil, relaxing setting yet located right in the heart of old town. Easy walking to all areas. All of the staff we encountered from concierge Lynne to valet Sean went above and beyond to assure our stay was a memorable one. We plan to come back and won’t stay anywhere else.

It was my boyfriend and I’s second trip to the Collector inn & loved it just as much as the first time. The staff is so friendly & inviting. It means a lot to a guest that the staff remembered who we were and what events we ventured into that day and was genuinely excited to hear how our day went. We love the scenery of the Inn as well as how convenient it was being right in down town St. Augustine. We truly enjoyed The Well and all that had to offer. Each room is so different in looks with its own style of being antique and vintage. This is definitely a destination we will return to again!

After much searching my husband decided on this fabulous place in the heart of old town! The rooms are all so beautiful, updated, and well equipped! The staff was wonderful and truly made us feel welcome! The history of the this property is so interesting! Do the free tour they offer if you are in to history at all! The boutique style of this hotel makes it feel more like a quiet day in your own gardens by the pool and fireside sitting in the evening with a yummy craft cocktail from the onsite bar!

This is a beautiful gem tucked away in St Augustine. The staff are amazing, very helpful and friendly. The grounds and homes are meticulously cared for and there is history everywhere. We stayed in the Rose home. Our room was was gorgeous and comfortable. The front porch of this home was very welcoming with comfy chairs and a fountain nearby. We enjoyed a glass of wine here after a day in St Augustine. It is in the heart of St Augustine so most everything is walkable and there are trolley stops nearby. I can’t say enough about The Collector Inn! It is an amazing place with a wonderful story. Make sure and take the history tour that is offered on certain days at the inn. We will be back!

Was a well laid out and pleasant hotel. Staff were nice, really good location. I understand that the hotel has been open around 18 months now and it doesn't seem as though the rooms have had quite the right amount of tlc since then — little things like chipped paint work or a scratch on the wall where a suitcase has clashed. Otherwise very good.

The Collector Inn was amazing! My boyfriend & I had stayed there for 5 days and it was splendid. Upon arriving the front desk complimentary upgraded our room to a suite! How excellent. All the buildings told a story. We enjoyed the architecture as well as the location of the inn. We were able to walk anywhere downtown in a mile or less. Our favorite part of the stay had to be “The Well” which was an on-site bar that served craft cocktails. Sonny was great! All of the staff was extremely friendly and we are already excited to go back and book with the Collector Inn again!

This is my favorite place to stay in St. Augustine! The grounds are beautiful and quiet. The Collectors itself is so full of history, comfort, and ambiance it could be a destination venue Not to mention that the beds are so comfortable, I slept in both mornings and my husband pried me awake with breakfast served on our front porch overlooking a gorgeous courtyard garden. The Inn is across from the Lightner Museum and a short walk to all the shops, sights, and restaurants, so after a day of exploring we came home to the Inn and relaxed by the pool with a couple of cocktails from the Well (so good! ). I know I'm just rambling now, but I can't say enough about the Collectors — we'll be coming back for the Night of Lights!

We were extremely disappointed in the collector inn. Asked for a room on the first floor and they gave us a handicap room with a bed and two night stands, no chairs to sit in and very, very small! The breakfast was good but you could have gotten a continental breakfast at any hotel. If you wanted hot chocolate or express o it was extra! The afternoon snacks you had to pay for and on top of that you paid an extra for the amenities, automatically $30.00. They seemed to nickel and dime you to death. The tour was not included because we were not there on the right day. Also, at least expected a room with furniture depicting antiques, and it was very modern. Will not be returning.

This place! We have stayed in hotels around the world, and this place is hands down our new favorite! It is the definition of charming… a clever concoction of historical homes, a village full of elegance and art. This place got under our skin in a sweet and magical way, and we cannot wait to return. Take the tour on Tuesday morning to learn about the life and the miracle that led to this unique hotel creation. Take a dip in the pool and then get a craft cocktail at the perfect sexy little bar — The Well. The bartenders are artists! Take a bike out and explore the city that surrounds this inn… it is a perfect location. This place left such a smile on our faces, and we are already planning to return. Charlie, the manager, was so welcoming and friendly; he certainly sets the tone for this gem.

St Augustine’s hidden luxury gem. We especially enjoyed their secret little cocktail bar. Excellent location and fabulous rooms spread across several buildings. This place aaaaaalmost makes me want to return to the hospitality business Well done!

We really loved this place. The service was excellent, the Well was refreshing, the pool, perfect at night before sitting around a fire pit. The grounds are soothing. The rooms are immaculate and well decorated. The bedding, very comfortable. (You may want to bring ear plugs though, as you may hear neighbors. ) Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Quaint, hidden hotel. This place is really nice. Has a romantic feel. The staff has been so awesome from arrival. You do have to valet your vehicle, which is not too bad Many places are within a small walking distance. Will definitely return real soon.

From the time we checked in to the time we checked out the serive was GREAT! Mike in valet was helpful with information. He was a doll. Lynn was very helpful in where to go. Susan she was taking care of breakfast. The place was clean they have a place for cocktails. I loved this place. We will be back!

Absolutely loved staying at The Collector. Staying at the Collector like traveling back in time. This is a place of grace and elegance and perfect for a romantic getaway. You feel peace and tranquility at the Collector. The staff is exceptional. The little pub on site, The Well is a great little place to stop in for a cocktail. This place is very charming and I cannot wait to stay again. And to top it all off you are with in walking distance to many great places in St. Augustine.

Easily the most unique, tranquil and charming hotel I've ever experienced. Its several old houses converted into individual rooms and with a wonderful courtyard in the middle. There is also a small building in the courtyard called The Well. It is a small bar with top shelf liquors. It's not a place for kids, business travelers, bachelorette parties, or anyone looking for a wild time. It's for peace and escape and romance. It is walking distance from everywhere and sits in the shadow of the old Alcazar Hotel. It's pricey but find a way to go and treat yourself.

My husband wifenapped me for our 21st anniversary and surprised me with an overnight stay here. All the buildings are beautiful and the grounds are amazing. Quaint little gem in the heart of downtown St. Augustine. Walking distance to the restaurants and shops on St George st. But with the friendly and eagerly helpful staff you may not want to leave. We went out for dinner and upon arriving back to our room that night were greeted with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a personal note from the staff congratulating us on our anniversary. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and their staff. You truly feel like a priority when you stay here. Thanks and we will be coming back for a longer stay!

A most beautiful, historic Inn. The service was 5 Star. The staff was always smiling and helpful. The Inn is wonderfully unique with individual vintage houses where the rooms are located surrounding beautiful gardens, fountains and meticulous landscaping. They even have a docent giving tours. So interesting! I loved the Collector Inn so much that we extended our stay. They also serve a wonderful breakfast. I cannot wait to return.

Absolutely adorable place. Staff was very professional and accommodating. Old, charming houses that have been renovated very nicely. The fire pits outside we're nice to sit at since it was cold out. Walking distance from plenty of things, and they even let us keep the car there for a couple hours after check out to keep exploring.

We are frequent visitors to St Augustine and have been wanting to visit here since last year when we saw the construction that was ongoing. Now that winter is here again, we made our reservations and were very happy we stayed. The room was very comfortable, the grounds comfortable and the fire pits at night were aces. The hotel's bike fleet was convenient and made getting around town for short jaunts that much easier.

A wonderful collection of historic homes in St. Augustine. Very convenient to walk everywhere. Beautiful grounds with firepits to warm your toes. Rooms are very nice, modern bathrooms and comfortable beds. Great and helpful staff. The only reason I can't give this a five star (4 1/2 would be right), is the noise from other rooms factor. We could hear all the conversations and patter of feet from the room above us. The staff did all they could to keep the room above us unoccupied, but when you're full, you're full. Having said that, highly recommended.

We have been here like 3 times in a row. Every time I come to st Augustine with my wife we stay at the collector. Very fun stay. Great customer service and the rooms are always clean and taken care of. The houses they have offer a variety of different types of rooms. We had a great time overall.

One of our favorite new getaways. The inn is so special and all of the staff is super friendly, the valet was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and well decorated and the grounds are beautiful especially at night when the fire pits are lit. The bartenders at The Well made great conversation and even better st Augustine (Moscow) mules. Can't wait to come back!

A top notch selection if you're looking for somewhere to spend a few relaxing days in St. Augustine. Within easy walking distance of all of the great shops and restaurants, you'll hardly think it's necessary to drive anywhere. Despite the age of the actual guest buildings (dating from 1790 — 1905), the rooms are mostly modern and well updated. The grounds are beautiful and very well kept — I spent several mornings on the porch in a rocker enjoying the sound of the water fountains and enjoying the view as I sipped my coffee. Continental breakfast is included, on-site historical tours are given a few times a week, and of course you should grab a drink at "The Well" and have a seat at the nearest fire pit to ward off any chill after the sun sets. We definitely plan to return to this oasis of tranquility.

We came here for our honeymoon. The charm of the place itself felt like our own little cozy place. The grounds are lush and immaculate and all of the rooms are very clean and well-furnished. Ms. Lucille helped us with check in and upon finding out we were honeymooning, proceeded to provide us with a map and lots of recommendations on dining and must sees. The remaining staff were so friendly and helpful and the quiet nature of the place was so relaxing. Breakfast was amazing and set us up for a great day we are already thinking about 1st anniversary plans!

Our party booked 3 rooms in this lovely, unique hotel. It exceeded our hopes in every way. Warm, helpful & professional staff. Exceedingly well-done renovations in immaculate condition. Charming gardens and pathways connecting the multiple structures. Walking distance to everything in historic St. Augustine and across the street from a trolley stop. We especially enjoyed evenings outdoors by the fire, allowing our group to spend time together outside of our rooms. We would welcome the opportunity to go again or to stay at any other properties of this company.

Excellent accommodations in a historic setting. Close to heart of town but a tranquil retreat once you're done. Add mixology masters with a great happy hour onsite. Continental breakfast was included and REAL coffee and pots in the room. We will definitely be back. If you can, catch the 1 hr tour of the grounds, Melissa is so knowledgeable and a terrific storyteller.

This is a very elagant block of buildings on Cordova street on the old Dow properties. It is absolutely stunning. We walked the grounds prior to the renovation and the transformation is amazing. The landscaping and outside walking areas were absolutely gorgeous. We plan on staying on our next visit to St. Augustine.

This hotel was unique and provided a wonderful experience during my stay in St. Augustine. The place is beautiful with wonderful grounds and exquisitely restored houses where the guests stay. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location is also excellent being an easy walk to the old town, the fort and the rest of the sights in the city. I really fell in love with this place and would love to go back again!

Beautiful place in a great location on the south end of St George St. Cluster of old homes beautifully restored into 4-6 400-700 sq ft luxury rooms. Small but very nice pool. Although I rate it 5 stars if u have some screaming little kids in the pool it definitely brings the experience down. Be a great place for an adult only resort. Friendly staff. Secure valet parking 3 blocks away with great bellmen to take care of your car and provide excellent suggestions for dinner options.

Very quaint, relaxing, and friendly. This seems like it stays kid free. There is cornhole to play, beach cruisers to borrow, and a friendly and knowledgeable bartender. The pool is small, however very relaxing. It is walking distance to a lot of places, but just far enough that you feel nicely isolated from the busy tourism of St. Augustine. The room I stayed in was quite small, but very comfortable and relaxing. Great, friendly, and helpful staff. There is an additional charge for valet… no real other option of how to park your vehicle either. Breakfast is decent. On the high end there is some smoked salmon and good cheese. The rest is basic bagels and cereals. I think it's definitely worth a stray for at least one night, unless the price is within reach… might be justified to stay a few more. There are no additional amenities, for those expecting the gym and business center.

The Collector is an unique property comprised of a collection of older renovated buildings, one dating back to the 1800's. The owner did an amazing job renovating each building. We actually met the owner and the manager during our stay… they were both super friendly and down to earth. The room that we stayed in was so beautiful. It had a bedroom, sitting area and mini fridge w/ microwave. It was nicely decorated and very cozy. The courtyard is very inviting and the landscaping on the property is impeccable. We had drinks at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and well versed on St Augustine. The entire staff was top notch. We have stayed at a lot of hotels in St Augustine and The Collector is by far THE BEST!

Cocktail menu was intriguing so stopped in to try the bar. Gorgeous! Sonny (the very capable bartender with the gift for gab) was extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Enjoyed 2 cocktails (one off menu he suggested for me based on my preferences) and both were terrific. Cheese plate was creative and huge… couldn't finish it so bring a friend! The rehab of historic buildings appears top notch and grounds/pool were lovely. Can't wait to return with my husband to try out craft beer offerings. Well done Collector!

Lovely rooms with an old city feel and new world comfort. Great fresh roast coffee and tea in rooms, hot waterfall showers, and a delicious continental breakfast (though I hope they get a toaster soon). Great location within easy walking distance to St George Street. (Makes walking old city very easy when you don't have to worry about parking. ) Great staff and quick responses to room requests. The only negative would be very thin walls in the room we were in.

A truly unique place with superb service from arrival to departure! Wonderful accommodations, great location and friendly staff. They've just opened, but have carefully thought of everything! If you like history, gracious hospitality and a bit of indulgence, you won't be disappointed.
