Car was DAMAGED with a HUGE windshield crack 12-14inches and a long scratch below that while with valet for 1 night. The valet acknowledged there was no crack before and the hotel and valet refuse to take responsibility. Valet is the only parking option. There is no self parking here. Will never stay here again. They don’t care.

We booked a room at the Hampton Inn and Suites Saint Petersburg at the last moment the night we closed on our new house. We had no idea where anything in our new home was located for our first night so we new the Hampton Inn and Suites Saint Petersburg was a great solution to our problem. This location has been recently remodel and it looks great. We will be back as needed in the future and highly recommend others to stay here as well. Their customer service was top notch!

My Sister and her husband stayed here and really liked it. I came to visit them at the hotel and couldn't find parking in the area. The young man who does the valet said we could valet park with them. This was very nice of them. Very impressed with this Hampton Inn.

Staff was very friendly. Easy checkin process. Room was very nice and roomy for the two of us. Great location, very convenient and close to Restaurants, Shops and bars. Was not able to book on line d/t website technical issues, staff made it very easy and painless when I called in. Keep up the excellent work.

First, let me start with the good news. This is the 2nd time we stayed here and we chose to stay here again because this place has a great location for the right price. It's clean and what you would expect from the Hampton Inn brand. Everything about the breakfast was so good including the staff, it was the best part! The bad news? There is a new condo being built right next door and the noise is TERRIBLE. It woke us up early, affected our view, and negatively affected our using the pool. My Husband went to scope out the pool and told me not to even bother coming down since all we would hear was jackhammers. When we were checking out, I politely advised the front desk that it would have been nice if we were at least given a heads up about the noise. Instead of apologizing or even acknowledging our troubles, the gentleman at the front desk just told us that they weren't obligated to disclose this information. I am an attorney and am well aware of what the hotel is legally obligated to disclose but courtesy and empathy is not the same thing as obligation. We live on the east coast of Florida and love to come to the west coast every so often as a short getaway. This hotel would have been our go-to hotel but the noise left a bad taste in our mouths and makes me question whether to stay here again.

Great location and price! Free breakfast is great and the rooms are clean and spacious. Right in the heart of downtown and walking distance to all local museums, the pier, beach, restaurants and nightlife. Was steps from a jogging path that goes on for miles.

My husband and I stayed the night here during our mini road trip. I had gotten a room online the same day, and when we arrived check in was super easy. All staff that we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. It is valet only which for the area is for the best (no parking and meters everywhere). Lots of shops, restaurants/bars, and museums within walking distance. Room was quiet and clean. All in all a pleasant experience. (Edit) : I left my wedding ring on the night stand and tried multiple times to get in contact with lost and found/room service. Not only did no one ever pick up the phone but I also never got a return call from the messages I left.

Stayed at the Hampton for the music festival that was going on. They were very accommodating with a shuttle to the park even though it was walking distance. Parking wasn't terrible. You could valet park or go to a parking garage down the street. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

Wonderful staff. Out of their way to assist. Calling a room with a pullout couch a suite? Outdated room. Location is awesome so for the cost you are paying for location. An update of towels mattresses and decor could make this place awesome.

My second choice behind the Vinoy. Great location. If you want any kind of view, get the top floor.

I would recommend this hotel highly! Crazy to say but the "complementary" breakfast was amazing! We love breakfast and normally seek out different venues. Not this time: There were different entrees everyday and it was just delicious! Also, the front desk personnel, particularly Angie and Laura, went above and beyond. Wish we had them as employees! Thanks again!

Staff was very pleasant. Free reception between 5 and 7. Valet parking only. But was available for the entire day of check out, which made it easy to attendmy meeting without having to relocate my car. Room was spacious and well kept. Down town location and close to the Bay and other local attractions.

Good location, pretty good rates. Nice breakfast. No view and parking all valet unless one wants to take a chance on street.

The hotel is neat and the rooms are nice. For the price, the location is amazing. Waterfront and within walking distance of downtown St. Petersburg makes this hotel a wonderful place for a vacation.

We stayed here during the Thanksgiving holiday. The hotel is at very good location, next to the water, shops and restaurants. You do have to pay valet parking fee, but I think it's acceptable for this location. Room is very clean and comfortable.

Plus 2 thumbs up for this hotel's staff. I have never stayed in a hotel with staff that were this happy to be at work and friendly to the guests. The room was spectacular, beds were very comfortable… which I tend to have an issue with. Perfect location for restaurants and weekend market. Absolutely loved my stay here.

As a starter, it was a great location. Room was on 4th floor (although we had requested a low floor), quiet, comfortable, fairly well-appointed, and larger than most motel rooms (it was a single room suite with two queen beds). Beds were comfortable, but we were not fond of the way the blankets were placed inside of the bedspreads. The air conditioner certainly worked, but there was no way to control the speed of the fan as the unit was operated from a wall thermostat. While the toilet and bath/shower were housed in a small separate room, the sink and dressing area were open to the rest of the room and afforded no privacy. Fortunately, there was a second sink around the corner (above the refrigerator and microwave), near the room's entrance which, though open to the room, afforded a modicum of privacy. There were ample bath towels, wash cloths and face towels. A safe for guest valuables was available in the closet. The breakfast area was very crowded without a sufficient number of tables and/or seats to accommodate everyone. There was a fair selection of cereals, breads, fruits, juices and coffee, as well as a waffle maker; however, the featured hot breakfast consisted of small Western omelettes of marginal quality (and, obviously, previously-frozen), small, cut up pieces of spicey smoked sausage, and home fried potatoes (trust me, you can get a better breakfast at any Waffle House). The staff was friendly although not particularly well-versed in the area's offerings.

Helpful staff. Very nice cocktail hour. Nice room. Only issue was parking. I prefer to valet so it worked for me, but others might be frustrated.

We enjoyed our stay in this location. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Very pleasant atmosphere. Conveniently located to many restaurants and parks near water. We felt at home with all staff. We especially enjoyed our parking valet Christopher. He was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for a great experience. Hope to come back soon.

Great location downtown, walkable to the bay, restaurants, etc. Also a bike share station a block away. Staff is very friendly, especially with children. The breakfast bar is fantastic — eggs, sausage, french toast, waffles plus the typical hotel breakfast staples like yogurt, fruit, cereal. Rooms are decent with black out shades, fridge, and microwave. Small issue with rooms — limited space to put away clothes.

If you've been to a Hampton, you know what you're getting. Extremely friendly staff, PJ the valet was my favorite. Location is perfect! So much to eat and do, perfect place to run from also!

For DTSP this truly blew me away. Right off Beach Drive in the heart of the action. Staff was excellent. Rooms were small but clean. Rate was surpringly low. Pool on second floor. Killer breakfast till 10am. Staff was great.

Great hotel in a great location. Walking distance to lots of things. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and clean and newly (? ) redone. The AC unit was super quiet. Unlike a lot I've encountered that rumble when they come on… waking the dead! LOL Breakfast is the standard Hampton Inn fare. Pool area is small, but nice. I'll def stay here again next time I'm in St. Pete.

Entering the hotel was a nice surprise, the ambience was very move and it was all clean. The staff and service was really really good, and the breakfast wasn't bad either. The rooms were clean themselves and had the all the necessities for an overnight stay. It was well air conditioned too. Overall a great experience for me, and I'd come here again next summer when I visit back.

Awful experience. We have a locked and unusable bathroom at 1AM and the auditor (MOD) is unwilling to provide a different room or any solution beyond us utilizing the lobby bathroom to brush our teeth and use then bathroom in the middle of the night.

The hotel is in a good location, close to Vinoy Park where my husband and I attended an event. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. I am giving 2-stars because the room smelled very strongly of stale cigarette smoke and they were unable to change our room. Their solution was to offer us a bottle of Febreeze, which didn't stand a chance. My clothes and hair all smelled the day after and I woke up extremely stuffy.

The location is great — very close to shopping and food on Beach and Central Ave. It was clean enough and the staff is friendly. I would stay here again.

It was a busy weekend so I don't really knock them too much but the breakfast was always running out of things. Adjoining rooms are a big problem, you can hear everything in next room.

We stayed here for a wedding in St. Pete. It is in a great location. Close to night life, the bay shore is walkable, there are green spaces nearby. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to St. Petersburg.

I stayed in a king suite, the staff was very helpful and professional. The room was immaculate and bed very comfortable. There is valet parking only so be prepared for that but the valets are very helpful and professional. You can access your vehicle at any time. Breakfast had a great variety and was very tasty. Happy hour is a plus as well! I will definitely stay again as it is located within walking distance of so many great restaurants! I loved it.

Amaziiiing! Just checked in … upgrade to suite with king bed! OK great. Hey free breakfast! Super! Tomorrow free drink and snack! Hmmm ok I could get used to to this! Ohhh darn forgot to bring iPhone charger, 10 min later knock on the door — guess what … charger! Room is awesome and clear, just Amaziiing. BTW — I've stayed at Vinoy 4 times this year … what Vinoy? … Vinoy has nothing on Hampton Inn! I'm staying here for remainder of my seminars! Kudos to front desk!

Everything is great but the walls are super thin. You can hear everyone on your floor, whether they're closing a door, watching TV or even just coughing. Otherwise the place is very clean and the free breakfast and happy hour are nice.

For the week of my wedding, me and my guests were set up in the Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown St. Petersburg. From the moment of reserving the rooms, to check-in and check-out the staff of the Hampton Inn & Suites were incredibly accommodating. Our stay was wonderful. All of our guests were greeted when they came in and out of the hotel by name, including my husband and I whom were greeted with congratulations. It made our special day even more incredible by our stay. I plan many more stays at the Hampton Inn & Suites. The location was perfection and our service was delightful.
