I can definitely see how this hotel is not everyone's cup of tea but I love it. Very eclectic while keeping a lot of the historic value of the building. Love the front porch where you can sit and people watch. In walking distance to a beautiful park and lots of shopping and eating. My room was very clean and majority of the staff was pleasant. I assisted in organizing an event for my job here so had a lot of interaction with the event coordinator, Kristen who was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend for small business meetings and symposiums.

I absolutely fell in love with this place! First the negatives: because of its location, it is pretty much mandatory to pay the $15 valet parking since there is virtually zero public parking. The other negative is the pool and hot tub were in desperate need of upkeep and maintenance. The positives: The staff were great! Very friendly, engaging, and accommodating. I loved the fact the hotel is a 1920s home and there were plaques discussing its history. The hotel was quaint and quirky and full of personality. Everything other than the pool was clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The beds and pillows were super comfortable-I slept like a baby. This is probably by far my favorite hotel in the area. I will definitely be back!

Hotel indigo St. Pete Don't book here if you expect to check-in by the posted check-in time or expect quality customer service. We arrived at the hotel 25 minutes before check-in but the rooms with the king size beds we requested still weren't ready (not a big deal because we're early). Immediately after being told the rooms were not ready we proceeded to watch other people who came after us (but prior to 3pm) check in without delay. Apparently in this location there are only 2 king size beds in the whole building. 3pm came still no room. When we asked Link (the front desk host), for a ball park time of when the room would be ready he told us it would be 5-30 minutes. The manager was present but didn't care to acknowledge us or even attempt to address our issue. Never offered an alternative (room with double bed would have been fine). She helped check-in a few of the guest and left without so much as a glance in our direction. Upon finally getting to the room the furniture was shabby and the bathroom has a rest stop commode. The room smelled of mildew and when you turn off the a. C. The condensation then causes the bed to be damp. On our way out of the building I happened upon the housekeeping staff discussing how one of the them didn't bother to strip the bed in 2 rooms (could those be the rooms we were waiting for). Not what I've experienced previously at other hotel Indigo locations. If you're in Raleigh, N. C. Or Jacksonville, Fl.

Great hotel. Clean and cute. Very friendly and nice staff.

I did not enjoy my stay at this boutique hotel. The room was damp and musty. The wall air conditioning unit vented onto the bed (a second bed in the room did not have sheets). Cleanliness was an issue as were the hardware/tiles in the bathroom. There were mosquitoes in the room that kept me up most of one night. This is not for business travelers and is not a 4-star hotel as suggested.

Don’t book a room at Hotel Indigo. My mother in law canceled her reservation 48 hours in advance because she didn’t need it anymore and they refuse to give her a refund. So the nonprofit mental health agency she works for is being charged (the entire price) for nothing. I can only assume they would be just as rigid and unhelpful if something was wrong with the room if she had actually stayed there. Incredibly dissatisfied.

Quaint and comfortable. Amazing staff including William the greatest bartender in history, Jonathan at the front desk, and manager (his name will come to me). The breakfast is actually pretty awesome and so are the crab cakes. I'll edit this soon to add more but I didn't want to leave.

It’s nice to see a chain creating unique hotels. Interesting interior maintained to a good standard. Nice positioning downtown.

This is such an awesome hotel. Very low-key and quaint, yet it's smack-dab in Downtown St Pete. The customer service here is wonderful, anything and everything you need with a smile on their face. While the hotel is quite old and creaky, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There can be a bit of noise from the hallways at times. I have stayed here many times, and was only displeased once, due to an air conditioning issue in our room. I love Hotel Indigo, and I always choose to stay here when I'm the area.

Nice restaurant in the front of the hotel. Small fitness center and pool as well. The rooms are a bit smaller than average, but kept clean.

1st thing that made me regret staying is $15 for parking. Now almost all hotels in that area do that so that's not really there fault. I would of gave a 4 star instead of 3 if when I was getting toilet paper the holder pops off the and when I looked at it super glue was holding it together. Now the staff was very friendly and helpful so big ups for that. Would definitely stay again if there wasn't that parking fee every night.

If your going to stay here go through like priceline or one of the other apps you will get it way cheaper. But watch out they will tell you they need to do a security deposit and it will charge you instead of just having on file in case. Other wise it was a nice hotel. Cute little rooms close to the water.

Had a medical emergency on the way to our hotel and we had to cancel our stay. They kept almost $300 for a room we didn't use and refused to allow us to reschedule or cancel. No compassion or understanding!

Historic boutique style hotel with very nice rooms. Definitely different even for hotel indigo standards. A 1950's OTIS elevator adds to the theme. However, not a fan of the wall and floor patterns in the hallways. The hotel is a bit scary at night.

Monday through Thursday free drink and the bar for a few hours? How can you beat that. Bathroom needed a like dusting on the blinds and windows though. Very comfy beds. Close to lots of downtown hot spots.

I rated it so low due to the terrible customer service. Mark at front desk is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Location is great. No laundry. No little store inside for simple necessities or ect. Hot tub and pool hours arent good. Rooms looked pretty clean.

This is an old building in need of updating. The walls are thin as you can hear your neighbors TV and other things. The antique water fountain does not work. It is a good location though.

Service is really good. But the hotel is very off dated and the deco is really bright. Food, is very well made. Location is good Service is what saves this place from getting only 2

The rooms were very cute. The hotel is very old! But it had been updated beautifully. They still have one of the original water fountains near the stairwell. The style and layout is very cool. The rooms have all the basics. The rooms are not big, but if you are looking for a place to just sleep, you are good. However, our room had a weird musty smell to it. And my fiancé is 6 foot 6, so the tiny bathrooms were a little interesting. Also, it is just 2 blocks away from some awesome bars and a public parking garage that does overnight parking!

The one star rating is to high for this place. Should be a — 5. When you go to a hotel you trust that they are Changing the sheets. Well this place is not! I put my foot on dirty mens underwear that were at the bottom of my sheets in between the top sheet and the fitted sheet. There are no excuses for this. If you cannot handle the business DO NOT OPEN. While in the lobby 2 other rooms were in the lobby complaing about dirty sheets.

Found a man's sock under the TV Stand when we first arrived (great to know the room was cleaned so thoroughly between guests). Also found a … pubic hair? Possibly? On the night stand. Oh, and there's free coffee but for some reason the machine only makes espresso or hot water — not actual coffee. Otherwise the place is decorated nicely, the beds are comfy… ah but it's valet parking only. So… mixed review? I've seen worse.

I've stayed here many times and will continue to do so! It is a really cool little boutique hotel which also has pet friendly rooms and is in a great location. It has a nice pool area & tons of good restaurants within walking distance which is great for quick little staycation.

SUPER CUTE! bartender was wonderful, valet was wonderful and speedy, front desk service was wonderful. Older hotel converted to up to date and modern. The bathrooms are a little small but The shower was spacious. My bed was extremely comfortable The service was great, the atmosphere was great and I was literally a 5 min walk from everything. Cute place and would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo June 17 and 18, 2017. When we arrived to our first room the ac was set to 65, we turned it down and when we left and came back we realized when the ac is not on freezing cold the room smelled like old cigarette smoke. We also saw and killed two roaches and one other bug we didn't know the name of. They moved us and in our second room the bathroom floor had lots dark hair near the shower and a ddried up blue contact lens in the floor close to the toilet. Lastly on Sunday am at 6:15 when we were all sleeping peacefully (my husband, my 2 year old and me) the alarm went off and woke us up. If you can get past the lack of cleanliness, and being woken up by an alarm you did t set, the staff was super nice and the location was great!

Could not sleep last night staying there due to guests being loud up to 3am. Employees were ineffective at taking care of the situation. Employees are mostly indifferent except for the valet which is pretty good. Room lacked supplies (toilet paper and soap). Hotel is a little old but overall ok.

Rude, unhelpful front desk staff. Check in is at 3pm. We arrived at 2:40pm, but 20 mins usually isn't a problem at hotels. Front desk staffer Brittany told us our room wasn't ready — — seemed really happy about saying it. Told next guest she had 11 rooms available. Two groups of guests arrived after us. They were checked in immediately. Not sure if it's because we were just getting in from the beach or because we booked on Hotwire, but Brittany was a nightmare to deal with. At 3pm, I asked She told us snidely, "we're moving things around. " Twice. No apology or "just a couple minutes more. " Fortunately, she finished her shift and a friendly front desk person took over. He asked why we had been waiting a half hour. Said there were plenty of rooms clean and available. Seemed confused as to why Brittany kept us waiting for so long in the lobby. Didn't get our room until after 315 pm. Good location, but just not worth it to stay here.

Great location in the heart of St Pete, staff was helpful and polite, and room was very nice.

The staff is great, its a very walkable/uberable location, & I love the style & ambiance. This is my wife & I's go-to spot in St. Pete. Rooms are always clean, bed is extremely comfy & love the style.

Nice hotel, not sure what else they could do other than demolish and start over. I prefer newer hotels. Valet parking was quick and not an issue, but my preference would be self parking. If you like older hotels that have been updated you will probably love this place.

Historic hotel with modern charm. Great location and the entire staff was very helpful. Valets and bartenders were very informative and prompt. Would def. Recommend.

This hotel was gutted and refurbished from its 1920 version into the cutesy, boutique version you'll find today, one of a handful spun off by the InterContinental brand. Parking: $14/night, the valet leaves at 11pm, and the lots are constantly overflowing, so chances are good you'll end up in the tertiary gravel lot down an alley next to the scary dude with the scary breath. Scary! Construction: Intense and covering the entire block across the narrow street. Begins at 7am. At least two nights of my stay, the crane's arm was parked overnight directly overhead from the hotel. Also scary. The bedroom: Pretty good. All rooms have two full beds; a queen (or king? ) would have been better; the bed was comfortable. One wall of each room has busy, beachy wallpaper. Noise level was manageable. The curtains blocked out 85% of the light. The bathrooms: They use the word "adorable, " I would use the phrase "I wish the shower closed all the way. " Extremely confusing: Why is there a stool with towels inside the shower? Makes the tiny room seem smaller, and means the towels get inadvertently soaked when you forget it's there. Dumb. Bar/restaurant: Very, very confusing. The bartender is often missing because she's cooking. There are no real eggs at breakfast. The small amount of food isn't usually available after 9:30 or 10pm. The merlot isn't bad, and it's cheap. The bartender has amazing restaurant suggestions. Confusing! Wi-fi: Free.
