Really nice place. Room was very clean. Thanks staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was big and set up like a little apartment. It had a full size fridge. A sink little cook top and cabinets filled with dishes and utensils. The bed was comfortable. There was a gym and a pool. The price was awesome. Would definitely go back.

From the parking lot to lobby it was clean and lighted. Staff was nice and smell good even in Pet allowed areas and smoking rooms. Pool was also clean and easy to find, gym had everything I needed and ran 24 hours. I would definitely use Candlewood again.

We booked a room last minute here for a good price. When we arrived, they said that they were overbooked. But said they will provide us a refund and paid for another room at a hotel across the street. We really appreciated how they took care of us. If I remember correctly, the desk clerk was Karl.

I absolutely love this place and the people! I have been staying there since April. Four days a week for business travel. Standard amenities for a Candlewood but they are better than most and suit my needs. The Staff makes the place amazingly friendly. They are awesome and take good care of you. 200% value for the cost!

Nice rooms! With a huge desk to work at, full kitchenette, really comfortable beds, and white noise machines available for free on request! Great facility! The staff, is a mixed bag… The young college guy that checked us in the evening we arrived was great! Friendly, personable, extremely helpful, and a real pleasure to work with! Wish I could remember his name! Because I'd recommend him to everyone! The morning desk staff when we checked out, couldn't be bothered to acknowledge us except in passing. And seemed glad we were leaving so they could go back to chatting. And when a family emergency came up, and we had to cancel a second stay well ahead of time, they refused to honor the Free Cancelation on their website, and insisted we'd booked through a third party site!?!? We had (and provided them) receipts showing we'd booked through Their Own website, with screenshots of the confirmation page. And the woman at the desk when we called in was beyond rude, and flatly refused a refund after canceling the reservation. We had to file a claim with the credit card company, before we could get the booking funds replaced. And as a result, will never be staying there again. Nice rooms, but (mostly) horrible service!

Nice place courteous front desk. Close to St Petersburg Clearwater airport especially if you have an early flight, took 5 minutes to get to airport. Clean and large rooms for great price.

Loved this hotel. Very clean and loved the kitchen. Front office supervisor was very nice and welcoming. I don't want to mispell his last name but he is of Czech and Polish descent.

Everytime I get to stay at this branch, my experience always goes well. Last minute checked in went very smooth. The guy at the front desk was real nice and saw I was tired and needed to check in at 11:30 PM. Wasted no time in assigning me my own room, and also offered snack. Took a long nice hot shower! The bed is so comfortable, I felt asleep like baby. Next time I am in town, I'll definitely stay here again. Thanks for the great hospitality. I really appreciate it. Candlewood rocks!

I recently stayed at Candlewood Suites overnight for business. The staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. The room was very comfortable. This is definitely a great place for a longer stay too since there was a small kitchen. I would recommend to anyone visiting Clearwater.

For the price this location is great, im sure there are nicer places to stay but for under $100 I doubt you will find any as nice. The only place to improve would be the bathroom since it showed a little age. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the beaches and about the same distance to the stadiums. Once more overall a great stay for the price. Also keep in mind it is a pet friendly, we didnt have any issues with it but something to keep in mind.

Fraudulent liars Asked every week on extended stay about point. told every time you will get uour points at the end. At end expected 310, 000. Found 1000 Told my rate was too low. I had been given the rate from apparently nice management. My corporate company were prepared to pay more. They admitted a problem and offered me 10, 000 Points That’s what you get from an offshore reader of disinformation posing as customer service Bottom line Hotel ok Corporations sucks.

Love Candlewood! My wife now loves them too. Makes other hotels feel like they are missing lots of stuff and amenities. Not a man of words really, but I can't say enough about how much I liked my stay here.

My boyfriend and I stayed here over the weekend and absolutely loved it. We were looking for something in the Clearwater area that was reasonably priced and not too far from the beach. All-in-all, I don't think we could have picked a better hotel. I loved having a kitchenette in the room so that we could cook, and there were plenty of beautiful beaches less than 30 minutes away. Also, the man who checked us in, Solomon, was terrific! Very friendly and helpful! Thank you guys for a great weekend!

The hotel was great. The pool was heated, but VERY small and no hot tub. We don't use housekeeping, so we just left the sticker on the door and nobody bugged us. They are pet friendly suites. We had a neighbor who wouldn't keep their dog quiet. We talked to the front desk, but nothing was done about it. 4 days there and all we heard was that dog. Day and night. We had a double bed room. 1 bedroom with a queen size and one pull out couch in the living area. Our couch was broken when we got there. We talked to the front desk on our way out in the morning and they had replaced it with a brand new couch before we got back. Also, there's complimentary laundry machines, a gym and a little shop area where you can purchase snacks and drinks. All in all, nice place!

I can’t believe more folks don’t know about the Candlewood chain. Spacious suites with fully-equipped mini kitchens, full sized fridge and microwave, included laundry on site, and the Cupboard should you need anything. I never saw the gym empty, and the staff was very helpful. I did have an issue with bugs in my room, but staff came immediately to identify and treat. Assured me they were like fruit flies that didn’t fly, and inspected the rest of the room with me to ensure there were no more. However we also had a heat issue that required changing rooms, but staff was accommodating with that as well. All in, you can’t beat the price for value!

We stayed for a week. The rooms are fantastic! Plenty of space. The kitchen is a godsend, saved us so much money from eating out and has all necessary items to make you feel at home. The staff is so friendly and courteous! They even have washer and dryers to use free of charge. Completely recommend this place. It's our third time here.

Clean rooms. Good place for an extended stay. Laundry room available and housekeeping only cleans rooms once a week. Con: having to change the dirty linen out at the reception desk.

It was good enough for a nice rest. Nothing much as the hotel offers very little amenities since it's an extended stay. And that also means there's a whole variety of people there too.

Convenient location. Service with a smile. Clean kitchen in your room equipped with a dishwasher, small stovetop range, full size refrigerator, microwave, etc.

Clean, great customer service and pet friendly. Reasonable prices with access to pool, grills, gym and has a pantry. All around awesome place.

Nice enough place, but the pool closes at 9, the front desk will accept cash for your stay but only if you press the issue. If you stay here, just know to hang onto all your receipts because their accounting is always off. It is free to do laundry there, has a small store and a fitness room. Overall it's average at best.

I am staying here due to hurricane Irma displacement. As a result, there have been a lot of sketchy people temporarily staying here. I have witnessed the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE skills demonstrated by each & every staff employee. They have handled tough situations like a champ! This facility is well kept, clean with new modern kitchenettes & built in desks that cater to business occupants. When I say clean… I mean there is not even (1) water spot in the entire bathroom or kitchen utensil! They make you feel at home & friendly. They specialize in extended stay occupancies & are not invasive daily cleaning your room. You can; however, refresh your linens & supplies at ANY time. Pet friendly atmosphere, with enclosed area to allow them to do their business. Covered sitting areas outside, with 2 gas grills. FREE laundry facility on site, gym, complete with a mini store with essential items, refreshments to purchase.

My friend from Kentucky stayed there… was very pleased at price and cleanliness of all areas. Room was especially nice and comfortable. Pet friendly hotel… they even have doggie biscuits in the lobby!

The staff works diligently to cater to your needs here. We've been here on an extended work stay and have been met with smiles and courteous staff at every encounter.
Its seems to be an older hotel and does have some maintenance needs that should be addressed but who among us couldn't benefit from some general up grades =) ) staff=10+, upkeep-6 NOT the fault of the on grounds maintenance man, corporate should step up!

The staff is beyond helpful. The room is well stocked and laid out. I would expect to be paying a lot more than I did for what I'm getting.

We're enjoying our stay here! In the 1 bedroom suite there's plenty of room for my husband, myself, and our 3 year old to spread out with separate sleeping areas. The staff have all been kind and accommodating.

Good welcome, spacious studio, clean and well equipped, nice bathroom, free parking, for sensitive ears provides protections for the night, you can hear a little road.

Beds are really, really comfortable. Rooms are clean and quiet. Owen on the front desk is a hoot. Great guy to have greet us. Nice having a full size fridge and dishwasher. Will definately come back.

Wow I would really like to know were they got those photos. To bad the they won't let me share my pictures. Good thing the mold is going viral getting the local news involved cause this place is disgusting. Also beware of anything walking from the jail cause they will ask for money or a place to stay if not already passed out on premises.

I am on business in the St Petersburg area and booked my stay at the Candlewood Suite. The online site had me convinced this was a safe and sanitary place for extended stay. Well… the hotel lied! I understand why they conduct themselves that way. Security is at a minimum or none when you are greeted at the front door by prostitutes. The rooms have flying bugs that bites. Mystery stains on the carpet and walls. The halls smell like cigarette and gym musk. I recommended anyone who reads this post do not waste your time staying at this hotel.

Great place. Comfy bed. OK if your on business but not a place for a vaca by the beach. No balcony and pool area is ok. Long extended stay is fine.

The room was nice and clean but thire is no place to go outer than staying in your room. I was not happy about them allowing pets no maid service change sheet once a week.

As a person who travel constantly for business, I'm in and out of hotels constantly and this is by far in the top 2 hotels I've stayed at all over the country. When you add in the value, it is by a longshot. I stayed for two solid weeks and saw people come and go but the majority of people were "snowbirds" who were just simply elated to be out of the freezing cold of he north so ultimately, everyone I encountered was pleasant. There was a community feel of the place, the other guests knew my name, and when I travel to the Tampa area for business again, (11 weeks in the past year) I will definitely be making this place my choice. Full kitchen with quality pots and pans, two outdoor grills, pool, pet friendly, clean rooms, no gang members or ladies of the night, well lit outside, FULL gym, free laundry area with a lot of washers and dryers, awesome honor system in the pantry and as I said, a community feel.

Toliet would never work properly, microwave was broken never worked, TV picture quality was crap like as if the cable was stolen or something. Less than 1mbps Wi-Fi the entire week I was here, I'm unsure if I would visit again, was a company trip, if it was out of my pocket I would have gone somewhere else the first night. After entering my room I was greeted by a dying family of roaches in the bathroom as well as either a bunch of nats or fruit flys That after I killed em more kept appearing. Was almost able to do laundry for free. Will say the staff was friendly.

Excellent customer service, Owen was very helpful at the front desk. The rooms are clean and have a great little kitchen.

The staff is so nice! The hotel is clean and well kept. They have games, movies, even toaster ovens and crock pots you can borrow in addition to an already well set up kitchen. My family of 4 is enjoying the room very much! I will stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others!

The staff are nice. But the bed needs to be rotated, it dips and is uneven and pillows need to be replaced. Not very uncomfortable. Also the frame is horribly wobbly and noisy. Simple resolution… rotate mattress every 3 months and replace pillows that are broke down and clumpy. Also, check the box spring and frame.

Cannot beat the amenities of a hotel room for this price. 3 HBO, ESPN, & news channels. Just about everything looks new.

Excellent stay for the price. Staff was kind and helpful, and the amenities were plentiful. My only complaints are that the bed was very uncomfortable and the area for dog walking was pretty horrifying. Cigarette butts and broken glass everywhere. The ground was like silt instead of grass or even dirt and it reeked. Indoors, my dog had a very comfortable stay.

I stay here most often when I am in Clearwater for work. The rooms are clean and they remodeled a year or so ago. Laundry facilities are nice to have and I get sick of eating road food so having a workable kitchen is nice too. Good elliptical trainer in the exercise area. Staff has always been super nice and helpful. If I have problems which is rare the staff takes care of issues in a timely fashion.

Me and my husband stayed here on our honey moon and they are suppose to give you your $25 deposit back but we have been waiting for now almost 2 months! this is just rediculous! everything else was just okay. But I can tell you now we will never stay here AGAIN.

Awesome place. Clean rooms courteous staff. Comfortable bed. @ $60.00 this place is FRIGGIN' great compared to the other 50-75 dollar range rooms I've been staying in, in the area. I WILL be staying here again.

Great place they just finished remodeling and updating the building. One note for people that depend on Wi-Fi for entertainment its quite slow normally less then 1 Mbps.

This is the best extended stay hotel in Clearwater. The front desk staff is very courteous.

Candlewood inn — clearwater/st. PETERSBURG FLIES, FILTH, AND RUDE STAFF! I complained about the flies and the maintenance man brought me a fly swatter and some fly strips. The air conditioner would not cool and the phone would not work. The room was dirty and had an unpleasant odor. The staff was rude and did nothing to correct the problems, so I left.
