Rude and indifferent front desk staff! Toilet was tiny. We were promised the sofa sleeper in the livingroom was comfortable. I sold Furniture for over 7 years. LA-Z-BOY and England make both a memory foam or air mattress sleeper-sofa that are indeed pretty darn comfortable. This mattress had the old school inner springs and was worn out! My 18 year old son couldn't even sleep on it. Ended up borrowing an air mattress from a local relative. Whirlpool tub in our room looked inviting but was old and broken. The hot tub at the pool was broken as well. Roaches in the hallway downstairs. Air conditioners were loud and ineffective! Never will use this La Quinta again!

Decent, but a bit dated. Carpet needs to be cleaned or remove. Overall, room was clean and comfortable. Was a little disappointed with breakfast. Usually stay at Holiday inn, (similar price range) where they have "hot" stuff — scrambled eggs, sausage, etc… Not so much here. We ended up having to go out everyday just to have a decent breakfast. Otherwise okay…

It is clean and well kept. It is an older building that shows it's age, but it is well kept. I could not hear road noise or airport noises. The pool has hydraulic hoyer lifts for handicap accessibility.

Horrible experience. Called at 5 pm to ask if they had portable cribs on site to make sure that we didn’t have to pack our own and was told yes. Went online and booked hotel. Drove 3.5 hours away to find out that they didn’t have any available cribs. (They only have two for the entire hotel and someone was staying there with twins) Had to run to Walmart and buy pack n plays at 11 pm at night because I had no where for my babies to sleep. The woman at the front desk showed no concern at all. She gave me the worst attitude and was not accomadating in the least bit. I asked her kindly if we could be on the same floor as our friends and the first thing she said to me was that they were booked without even asking me what floor my friends were on to begin with. I have literally never seen such bad customer service in my life. I will never stay there again.

Not bad for a night's stay. The pool was heated and the hot tub was definitely an added bonus. The fitness room left a lot to be desired, however, and the continental breakfast was certainly lacking (at least when they first started serving it).

Convenient location, next to a lot of eateries. Room was surprising bigger than we expected, bathroom definitely dated. Overall it was a traditional room nothing fancy. Breakfast served daily, no hot entrees such as scrambled eggs, bacon etc… 25 min to Indian Rocks beach about 35 to Clearwater Beach. Pets are allowed. Overall would stay and recommend.

Very nice staff and good hotel to bring your furry friends to. Good breakfast buffet in the morning. Nice heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

Great service. Staff very friendly and attentive. Room was sparkly clean and smelled great. Pool was nice, towels stocked. Loved the TV screensaver features. Will recommend and come back soon!

The room was huge! The staff was great and especially pet friendly since we had both our Chow Chows with us. The location of the hotel made it easy to get in and get back out on the road. Only complaint, please reload the doggie poop bag holders so other dog owners pick-up their poop… we always take our own poop bags and pick-up after our dogs… other's do not and make it a mess for the other responsible owners.

Good hotel. Clean rooms. Not updated, but it is fine for business travel. Property has a hot tub, major plus. Staff is exceptionally friendly.

We were there the week of Christmas… The staff were very pleasant, our room, hotel, pool, hot tub, and gym were all very well cleaned and taken care of… The free breakfast was also pretty good. I wished that they would serve a little more healthier food choices though like low fat items, low in sugar items and more fresh fruits. We also met a lot of very nice people from all over the US. Over all I will give them a huge thumbs up. There was one issue while we were there and it was with the hot tub. It wasn't the hotels fault though. They were very proactive on getting it fixed… We will definitely stay there again…

Clean hotel with a friendly staff. It is an older property so it shows a little wear and tear in common areas. However, the rooms are nice. Comfortable bed, desk with chair, refrigerator. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Room was quiet even with the hotel sold out. Vending machines are on every floor. I signed up for their airport shuttle to catch an early flight. I guess I was the only person, because instead of a hotel van they arranged and paid for a cab. It was waiting when I entered the lobby! Great service. If you want a clean, economical place to stay and don't need anything fancy, I recommend this hotel.

Great value for money. Standard Continental breakfast, which means no hot table (no eggs, meat). Breakfast room is large and layout is open. Property is clean, and renovated. Parking lot is well lit and safe.

Would NOT stay here again if I could help it. Front desk gave me wrong times for breakfast (manager offered me a banana as consultation), assured me my frig was FIXED when it wasn't (so it was no use 2 me first night AND second as well) and breakfast option was not good. Almost yuck. Coffee machine was nice. Maids were nice. Rooms are ok, but dated. I get it, this is a bargin hotel for people on very tight budget. They did have a pool.

My stay was at the La Quinta Inns & Suites Clearwater Airport. After a BIG mixup at the airport, I made my way to the hotel 3 hours later. Upon arriving I was greeted by Maria, who assured me that everything would get better. I went to my room which was very clean, smelled great, and A. C. Worked wonderfully. I later met another receptionist named Faith, who also was great. They both assisted me with wonderful alternatives to my situation. I don't think my trip could have gotten any better if it was not for them and their help assisting me. I am truly grateful for them. Thank you so much for making my trip worth while.

The room was clean, the pool area was nice and the staff was great. Free shuttle to the airport. I would stay there again.

The staff are great! They are working on remodeling now. The pool is warm year round and the hot tub fantastic. The beds are comfortable and it's clean.

This location is pretty dated compared to other LaQunita locations we have stayed at. Breakfast is also a bit more limited in selection (no fruit) These are by no means complaints, just observations. Check in is always a breeze and the front desk is ALWAYS HELPFUL in directing us to local "must-do" as well as "avoid" adventures.

The best staff. Helped us when hurricane Irma was on it's way. Super clean property and room was a 5 star for sure. Thank you La Quinta!

After a less than satisfactory stay at another hotel, this location was a breath of fresh air. Clean rooms, friendly staff who went above and beyond in any way they could, and a very pleasant stay. Our room was very clean and well kept. The pool was enjoyed by the whole family and was well stocked with towels. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again next year for our family vacation.

The staff is friendly the rooms are large. The beds are comfortable. They have breakfast which includes fresh do it yourself waffles, boiled eggs, beagles, instant oatmeal a variety of cereal and yogurts and fresh fruit. They also have a heated pool and a hot tut which are always nice. It has a lot of food places near by and isn't far from the beach. We usually stay at this location anytime we're in Clearwater.

My wife and I needed a place that was both affordable and pet-friendly. This hotel had the best rate and rating combination. It's also a relatively short drive from dog-friendly beaches like Fort DeSoto Park. The room had ample space, looked and smelled very clean, and the shower had great water pressure and temperature control. The first room one we got actually had a wacky-sounding A/C, but the friendly staff at the front desk immediately relocated us to a different room with zero fuss. Breakfast was included, which is a bonus. From what I could tell, our dog enjoyed his stay too. I would come back the next time we're in St. Pete.

Had a wonderful 3 day stay at this hotel with my family. I must admit that I normally stay in a 3-4 star hotel when traveling, and decided to book a hotel by the airport and be economical. I am so happy I did. It may look somewhat dated from the outside, but the staff was excellent, and they offered everything we needed for a great stay. Beds were very nice (better than expected) and they provided a great continental breakfast such as waffles (waffle maker), bagels & cream cheese, toast, instant oatmeal and fruit. They had a business center and on going coffee 24 hours. There is a clean pool and hot tub. Small and quaint place. Also, they keep this place CLEAN. I will be back and will now be giving my business to La Quinta over any Holiday Inn, etc in the future.

Room was clean and nice. The included breakfast was not great. Waffle maker and yogurt with some stale bagels not the most appetizing but then again it's not the mariot. Overall not bad for the price.

This hotel was ok. It is very outdated and their is a pest problem. However the staff is nice and it is pet friendly. The free breakfast is not very good. The breakfast had less food than the La Quintas I have been to before.

Room was ok. Breakfast was poor. Gym with 4 machines smallest I've ever seen. They call it "fitness center". The problem was I lost memory card with all vacation pictures. Was my fault leaving at the computer desk (that what gm Margaret Borowski told me). Gave them exact time and date when it happened. Nothing, even called corporate no result. Gm Margaret Borowski even worse no customer service and poor managerial skills. Said one thing in person other by email. When I called she did not even pick up the phone. On email she stated that she gave card to someone who requested it. When in person she said she never saw the memory card lol. Too dumb to even lie. Anyways stay away from these nonsense hotel. Will never come back.

Can't give zero stars. Place looks nice if you ignore the ten Mexicans in the pool sized for eight in a hotel with two hundred plus rooms. The Real problem started when they wouldn't let me use the card I made the reservation with to pay for the room and the'manager' couldn't have cared less that my grandmother has to sleep in the car. The ready need to work on this policy.

Terrible experience. Had to change rooms several times due to room issues. 3 room changes. One room had cock roaches sworm when we turned on bathroom light. Told we would not be charged for one of the three rooms we booked, but they charged us for all 3. Couldn't get refund on site due to plane departure time. Very frustrating experience. Horrible night sleep. Reviews online are misleading and false. It is a run down, bug infested establishment. Would never stay @ a La Quinta again. Rooms were 200; 220; 324. First floor room had COCK ROACHES. Room 210 had broken toilet that ran non-stop. Another suite had door propped open by yellow towel.

This isn't a 5 star hotel, but they treat you like a 5 star guest. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles and great attitudes! The staff are so friendly. The free parking, Wi-Fi, and breakfast are awesome. The front desk staff who checked us in the first day, stopped and took the time to talk with us. The rates are great, too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants low rates with great value.

Hotel isn't anything fancy, but for the price it's pretty great. Good location, rooms have a good amount of space, and friendly staff.

Always a great value. Would like the breakfast better if there were sausage and/or bacon included. Great pool. Clean rooms. Nice beds. New tv. Carpet, however, shows its age.

Location was great, easy to get into and out of. Gas station across the street, several restaurants within walking distance. Room was clean, no issues with service. TV had good channels. No complaints at all.

I feel discriminated I feel uncomfortable I feel threated she followed me at all time she also was asking for my name and room num to a minor that was there visiting she came to me to the laundry room as soonest I went to see what was all about she was there my husband my friend her husband and she stared talking louder and louder and I stepped back she was coming forward mistreated my self this person was very rude I ask for an apology it happen but at the 7 pm all this for (ask for change for the washing machine) she calls the cops and they made me leve in 10 mins even do she was verbally aggressive I do have not just one room but 5 rooms so everyone have to leave in 10 min this person said she was the manager that was not true her name is Amanda Greenleaf front desk the manager give the "authorization " to take everyone to leave Managers Name is Margaret Borkoski so at that time we all leave and to call her at the morning but I was not allow to cross there for a year when I've never had a problem in none of the hotel of La Quinta also I'm a patient of cancer and at that time we just have to leave and stay our car for the night. I feel like she was harassing me due to my nationality. Very rude and sarcastic person!

I must say we are very Thankful. My husband our 3 kids and I had the adventure of a life time… We booked a night and arrived earlier than expected while arriving we had car issues which the car ended up in the shop for the entire day we (all 5 of us and our dog) walked a bit and reached the hotel. When arrived we explained the situation to the front desk. She was more than supportive told us not to worry that she will see what she could do. Not more than 15 min she checked us in (earlier than scheduled) no issues. Thank you! We need more people like you in this world. Will definitely return.

Good and near the airport, experienced problems with the Wi-Fi but the manager help immediately!

Nice place, looks clean however I was satying in a room that I wont say the number to. But lets day that it could make you very sick. In the middle of the night I the toilet overfloed with feces (not mine). I went to the front desk and the clerk said they had no mop. So her gave me an arm full used towels and a plunger. After cleaning it as much as possible it had soaked the carpet and he came up with a mop and bucket. Then told me it was not the right kind of mop? it wasnt absorbent enough. I bought it to the attention of the management the next day and they Never came in to clean the floor (sterilize it). In the morning t took video of four peices of hair around the floor and returned the hairs were still in same spot I only know because I took video of the entire thing which I will post on youtube. If your going to reserve a room just knoe that you may get this room.

We stayed here this time in an apartment while looking for a place to live. I don't recommend it for the apartment or any long term stay. Kitchen has microwave only, no stove or oven, no dishes or pots or anything apartment all empty cabinets. Printer downstairs didn't work and the breakfast is lackluster. They are pet friendly and cheap cheap for a one or two night stay but if you are looking for something that does more than just get the job done I'd go elsewhere. Also the parking lot is full of potholes.

This place is NOT wheelchair accessible at the most basic level. We booked one handicap accessible room and one standard king. When we arrived, I discovered the toilet was in no way accessible for me. I have to get my wheelchair next to the toilet and this one was in a recessed privacy area, surrounded on three sides by full walls. Since our house was being tented for termite fumigation and I have specific needs, we were rather upset to have dragged our belongings, pets, two grandchildren and three adults only to find we could not stay at this hotel.

My husband and I travel each November to Florida and have stayed at LA Quinta Inn on Ulmerton Road 4 or 5 times and always are pleased and recommend it to other English travelers. Also they give us a good rate as we are senior citizens. Jean /Jesse Stanyer.

Please be very wary when making reservations at this property. I was making reservations for 34 consecutive nights and was quoted a great price. Then, when I went to give them my credit card, they doubled the price and make every excuse possible for not honoring the quoted rate. This was within minutes of being given the rate. The General Manager blamed the Front Desk Clerk but the Front Desk clerk had approved the quoted rate with the General Manager. I think they wanted to secure the nights and thought I liked the property so much that I would not care that they doubled the rate. Needless to say I am not staying there. I built hotels for many years and I have seen other properties do a "batch and switch" but this was the worse experience for me.

Older motel. Room smelled like dog urine! Otherwise it was a nice place. Staff was courteous and allowed us to check in early.

Stayed for 2 days with my children. This hotel is great! The beds are super comfy and the room decor is modern and pretty. A little disappointed that the free breakfast is over at 9am, but other than that the front desk staff is very nice. The room for the most part was clean, found hair in the corners of the bathroom floor, but who cares. Found a burn mark on one of the sheets — personally, I think the sheets from the smoking rooms should only be used in the smoking rooms. But thats just me. Seems that more people stay here on business than families because I didnt see any other kids during our stay and nobody using the pool but us. But overall this was a fantastic hotel and I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in this area.
