Great place for the money. Very clean and great staff. The best sausage gravy I’ve had in a motel.

A surprisingly nice Best Western in good location, at an affordable price. They seem to cater to weekend fishermen and have parking spots specifically for those hauling their boats. Our room was spacious and clean. Staff goes above and beyond to accomodate. AC didn't work as well as we would have liked, and giant blue tarp in Northwest corner is an eyesore on an otherwise lovely property. Bed was extremely comfy. Would definitely stay here again.

As always Best Western is a great place to stay. This location just outside of downtown Apalachicola is perfect. It's not a very large BW, but it's clean, friendly and has everything needed to make your stay comfortable.

Very impressed with every facet of our stay at the Appalach Inn. We go to St. George island every year, many times multiple times a year. We normally stay in a rental on the island but will make this our normal accommodations for future visits. Much more economical and just a convenient for our personal tastes.

Toilet needed to be flushed, tstat didn't cool to stated 70 degrees, staff was really flat, there was a dried towel already in the bathroom, and a big flying around that I've never seen before. Nice comforter, had microwave, and fridge, soap not drying had argon oil, continental blast. Good for one night, or if you're in a tight.

Great experience! My daughter brought some stuffed animals. The house keeper arranged them on the bed everyday. Something you would expect in a high end resort.

Nice, clean, and quite place to stay. Everyone is so nice, from front desk to the maids. We stay here every year!

This was our first stay in the area and at this property. We were impressed in every way and will be back to this specific Best Western and other Best Western properties because of this experience. Highly recommended!

Room was nice, till hot water busted for the hotel, was told I would receive a refund for 1 night stay, have not seen it post on my account yet, so maybe I will.

The hotel was nice and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The first room would not cool and they quickly moved me to another one. The staff was very friendly. Nothing was broken. Breakfast was good. Internet was very slow.

Christine the nighttime front desk attendant was so accommodating. We were tired with no reservation and she got us right in. The bed was heaven!

This inn is clean, clean, clean. The friendly staff gave us some awesome suggestions for local dining. The breakfast was very good! I would totally stay here again.

The rooms are very recently updated and very very clean. Tina was our housekeeper and did a fantastic job with everything. She left kind notes for us during the holidays and personally thanked us for staying with them as “wonderful guests. ” The staff at the front desk were very welcoming, inviting and knowledgeable about the local area. I could not have asked for a better choice of staff. These folks are wonderful. We stayed in room 213 which is a king bed with a pullout sofa. The room is huge with lots of room and agin it was clean. The bathroom/shower even has full granite! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

For a discount hotel in a small town, it was a great experience. Clean and comfortable with a surprisingly good breakfast bar. Only complaints: No elevator to 2nd floor and the door to my room did not fit well. Everything locked and was secure, but I could see wide gaps all the way around it. Even at full, cold A/C, the room was still warm (I'm assuming because a lot of the cold air escaped around the door).

The Rooms were clean to perfection n roomy in space. We felt in love with the spacious bathroom. The pool area was clean n the pool nice in size the King bed was very comfy. We enjoyed our stay. We will stay again.

The entire staff was friendly, helpful and so caring. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was hot; scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. In a big breakfast room. They even served breakfast earlier than usual since the runners had an early start for their race.

They cancelled our confirm room less the 24 hours before. We were staying there to avoid Irma. There is no evacuation order. No other hotels were canceling reservations. No other places to stay! DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU REALLY NEED A PLACE TO STAY! Update 9/10/17: One day later. Found a local hotel 2 miles away. Still no evaluation order for this area. I hope Best Western Corp office learns how poorly and unprofessional this hotel treated their guest in a time of need!

Nice looking hotel on the main road thru town. Great bed with plenty of pillows. Large room. Problems with room smell, running toilet, dirty carpet. Nice staff especially kitchen lady. Great hot breakfast.

Excellent stay and excellent staff. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was great. The cleaning staff were precious. Breakfast was pleasing and the rooms very clean even smelled clean. The beds were awesome! The beach is a way farther than what we really wanted (10 miles) but ended up just staying on at this hotel because the place was just exceptional and made the drive every day. St George island is a treasure! I don't want to say much about it because I would like to keep it a secret and all to myself!

Do not stay here owners just interested in money not guest. A accident cost me 150.00 will never stay here again general manager is rude only interested in money. Call best western headquarters to open a complaint, they can't stop the charge but record the incident and the general managers attitude to me. They call her but she still refused to drop the charge. So please don't stay at this hotel!

My husband and I stayed four nights. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and linens, covers clean and fresh smelling. The room had a microwave and small frig that kept our drinks and snacks very cold. Our room was kept very clean; towels and toiletries were kept refreshed. Very impressed with the quality, professionalism of staff. Our room came with a full breakfast. The selection was diverse: eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, waffles, two kinds of cold cereals, hot cereals, breads, four kinds of pastries, fresh fruit, even yogurt. The coffee was excellent. Real butter, jams, jellies. The hours for breakfast were 6:30 — 9:00, but everything was replenished promptly whether we ate at 6:30 or closer to 9:00 (which we did). This was the best part of our stay. They had a clean and inviting pool area with clean lounge chairs and multiple tables/chairs. The location to town was ideal, a short trip by car, also close for biking or walking, if we had been interested. We would definitely recommend this delightful property, and would choose to stay there again.

Motel room was large, very nicely furnished, very clean, had a table and 2 chairs and a desk with 1 chair. This was important to us as we hate having to sit on a bed. The staff was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. We didn't eat breakfast but the dining area looked large and nice. We would definately stay here again and would highly recommend it!

The place was amazing. Sam and the rest of the staff saw to every need. They were personable and I had a great chat with Sam and Matthew who I met there (part of the staff). The breakfast was very good with lots of options. Went to Disney this past Christmas and the room we stayed in there was not as clean or as well supplied or comfortable. My only complaint was the Wi-Fi was next to worthless. If I wanted to do any work on my laptop, I couldn't get anything done because the bandwidth was almost non-existent. If you are going to the beach, or going to visit old Florida, this is a great place to stay. Had a great weekend because of this place.

Was a good place to stay for the price. Close to center of town, not walkable, but a short drive. Staff was very accommodating and recommended a great restaurant. Very clean and comfortable.

Last time I was there someone took a $40.00 winning lotto scratch off from my night stand! They didn't throw it away because the rest of papers were still there. The time before that I complained about a cigarette that was on top off the tile and was apparent that it had been there along time. That evening most of it was gone except the paper! The time before that I complained about the scum on the shower wall. I drew a smiley face in the scum and it was there the 4 days. I told the company I work for three strike they're out! I won't go there again! I left a message, for the owner to call me, about the stolen lotto ticket, but she never did!

Stay: Oct 2013, three nights late in week. We were perfectly content with this hotel. The staff was nice, things were kept nice, and there was a very nice breakfast served each morning (please tip the lady busting her butt to clean up your mess and making sure everything is stocked) which eliminated an additional cost of our trip. Complaints: crib wasn't in room when we arrived which bugged me at two in the morning with a cranky one year old and wife, floors looked really clean until you looked at your formerly white socks. Neither were big enough deals to change my mind about staying there in the future.

Decent place to stay if you just want a place to stay for a few days. Clean, somewhat quiet, yet a little old and run down.

This particular Best Western is alright if you're not expecting a lot. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. However, the breakfast that they serve is "hot" in name only. It consists of some white gravy that is basically plain and that tastes like flour and water mixed, biscuits that are still refrigerator-cold that you have to microwave yourself, donuts, coffee, cereal, and two "hot" items in a warmer that were not freshly made but are from a package and microwaved warm. If you are looking for a basic place to stay and you don't want a lot of extras, then this may very well be the place for you. However, let me warn you now that you need to keep an eye on your credit card / debit card charges after you leave. They attempted to charge my card a "significant" amount of additional charges despite the rate that I was quoted and that was on my receipt. Called them a couple of times with NO results, one of the owners deferring me to a nonexistant General Manager that wouldn't be back in for several days and telling me that any additional charges would "fall off in a couple of days"; this despite the fact that they were all placed on my card on the same day three days after we left. He also tried to convince me that it was the "bank" that was placing the additional charges.
