Very beautiful place nice employees.

Very nice hotel, but not good for the handicapped. Beds way too high to get into, same for bathroom sink.

Everything looks so nice n smells so clean & inviting. Friendly & helpful staff. Spacious room, with comfy beds and a clean bathroom. Towels are clean n fluffy too! Will definitely come back to stay, when I'm in town.

Fast check in and plenty of good restaurants near.

Love the decor it’s very unusual us even for a Holiday Inn.

We have stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoyed our stay. But this particular time was a very loud Christmas party down stairs. Very loud music till 11:00pm. All the staff said was they were sorry. Really we needed to be up early and get on the road the next day. Not much sleep.

From the moment I walked into the hotel, the decor, the scents, spacious room, the restaurant was just beyond amazing! My kids love it so much that they just wanna go back to be lazy and relax in the room ♥️ perfect.

Very disappointed bar and restaurant closed on Sundays!

DO NOT BOOK WITH RESERVATIONS DEPT!
I called in and spoke to a women in reservations to book a room for my family of 6! I was told I had to do a suite and it was x for price. I paid for the room, confirmed with her on the phone price and room then was given conformation #. The next day I never recieved email conformation so I called in and was told I had to paymore for that room. I was sent back to reservation line twice to try and fix the matter, first time the guy cut me off and sent call back to front desk the second time they hung up on me. They barly spoke english at the reservation dept and made no attempt to fix matter. Very poor customer service! I would not advise booking, they are trying to hike prices after you confirm and pay.

I booked through booking. Com, and it mistakenly booked me for the day before my stay. I stayed on the phone for over an hour getting this corrected, only to still be charged twice! The front desk would not even tell me who was in charge of the hotel. I will never stay at this hotel, or any other Holiday Inn, worst customer service in the business.

Hotel is beatiful staff was fine "breakfast " was a rip off advertised breakfast unavailable only option was an 11 dollar buffet with eggs colder than the orange juice and gross ssg patties 48 bucks for 4 of us to eat kid size boxes of fruit loops. Every table near us was complaining.

A good alternative to staying in Gainesville for gator games. Right next to the interstate. Hotel has just been built so everything is new. Standard breakfast fare with surprisingly above average biscuits and gravy. I would definitely stay here again. It will be even better when they finish building the gas station close by.

The room was nice and clean. The hotel lobby is nicely decorated and very pleasant. The beds were a little too firm for my taste. Restaurant was closed since I checked in on a Sunday. Very peaceful night's sleep.

Probably one of the nicest Holiday Inns we've stayed at. Open atrium to the top level with glass elevators makes the whole place feel quite spacious. Rooms are quite clean and comfortable. The asian-fusion restaurant, SKY, on the upper level has some amazing-good food that is pricy, but NOT overpriced as is so typical of hotel restaurants. The conference rooms are spacious and what you'd expect at a upper-mid level hotel.

We enjoyed staying at this brand new Holiday Inn & Suites this past weekend. The hotel was very well appointed and had only been open for 20 days! It was so new that we had brand new towels and wash cloths! We were in town for several events and were up and out early so we did not eat breakfast there, but we smelled the delicious bacon as we left each morning. We love the Holiday In & Suites line of hotels and have never been disappointed. We usually stay at the one in Silver Springs, but there was no availability as the entire 3rd floor was under construction. I'm glad we stayed here, it is much nicer and very modern than the one in Silver Springs.

The outside does not do the place justicE‼️ Excellent experience ‼️ very clean and elegant.

Okay. You know the saying you can't judge a book by it's cover… well this is a good example. The building looks good from the outside. It even looks very cool from the moment you walk in the lobby. The room (420) however looks a little outdated. Nice paint but older furniture. Clean bathroom but shower had cracked (which was repaired but unsightly) wall. Kinda small also. The bed is a Tempur made… but might need a change. Very soft on one side… the side closest to the bathroom. One last thing the a/c was so loud. That the night sleep sucked. Didn't notice how loud it was until I turned off the t. V. And laid in the bed. The fan was rubbing on something. One last thing and I knew this going in… No free breakfast. Nice overall price for the stay but remember you get what you pay for.

From the outside it looks like any ordinary hotel but when we walked in our reactions were “Wow, this is nice. ” The customer service is awesome. The mattresses are temper pedic so you just sink in them. The scenery feels like your in a tropical island but still classy.

For a mid-market price, this location gives a stunning, tall atrium with tree sculptures in a Florida swamp theme. The mood lighting is dramatic and there is an excellent breakfast option and award winning roof level Asian fusion restaurant. Carpets are burgundy and green with light green walls extending the design language. Yes, your basic Holiday Inn amenities are there too but this has conference and party facilities for about the same price as other Holiday inn competitors.

The mattress and pillows were horrible. They were way too hard. I was not able to sleep at all. There was food left in the refrigerator from the people who was in the room before me.

Beautiful hotel. I stayed here in 2006 for a month. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The Sky Fusion restaurant upstairs has excellent food.

My girls and I stay here quite often and it's ALWAYS wonderful! The staff is excellent and always goes out of their way to ensure we have all of our needs exceeded… The hotel itself is beautiful and close to everything… The only ding I can even think of, and this is no ones fault really as it's an outside, uncovered pool area, is that the pool needs cleaning… But, boy, if they got that area enclosed with a screen or something, no hotel could top it! You really get a 5 star hotel at an incredible price!

Talk about mixed feelings. The hotel lobby is elegant, the staff really nice, the restaurant is award winning. So, I was here with a group and even though I am a Holiday Inn member, I was late booking, so I paid the highest rate. When I checked in and asked about getting the better rate, they denied me the lower rate but assured me what a wonderful room I was getting on the top floor. The room is dark, the furnishings were shabby and check out the lean on the fold out bed! Those are two same size makeup bags, one at the front of the sofa and one in the slanted back. What a shame.

Beautiful hotel with a gorgeous lobby and clean/spacious rooms. Pool wasn't heated outdoors, but would be a great place to use in the summer. Would revisit again.

Stylish public areas. 1st class restaurant. Very professional front desk staff. Very large, comfortable guest room. A great value. We'll definitely stay here again.

Had an issue with my card on checkout. Easy enough to fix. Of course it sure helped with the 5 calls at 7am so I unplugged the phone in the room. The message to the room phone. The two voicemails to my cell phone, and the note under my door. I got the effing message. Ever think I had a late night, I guess the do not disturb sign and unhooked phone wasn't enough of a message?

Really above average for a holiday inn. Lobby was really nice and had a chic vibe.

We didn't stay at the hotel, we ate dinner at Sky Asian Fusion restaurant on the top floor. It was really nice, the atmosphere was classy and romantic. The food was de-lish and great drinks. Pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

The facility is nice and I love the jacuzzi tub in my room, but the staff was unexpectedly rude. The girl I made the reservation with over the phone was polite and accommodating; however, when I arrived at the hotel to check-in, the clerk was condescending and alluded to some impropriety in a "local girl" staying in the "jacuzzi room. " My husband and I have been married for five years and have three kids, so when we're able, it's nice to get away, even just for a stay-cation. This clerk went out of his way to make me feel like I had done something inappropriate, and ruined the beginning of my night. The next morning, my husband was concerned about bed bugs due to a few bites on his legs that had previously not been there. When he mentioned this to the morning clerk (so it could be checked and taken care of quickly if that's what it was), he acted as of it was an inconvenience to be told and he couldn't care less. Finally, I called the front desk a week after we stayed there because I was still seeing a double charge for the room on my bank account statement, and once again, the front desk clerk was discorteous. In an impatient tone, she said it was just a validation amount that would be refunded in 2-3 days. When I said it had been a week, she hastily said I need to contact my bank then and ended the call. This treatment is not what I expect from any company offering customer service, but certainly not when I spent over $200 for a relaxing night out with my husband.

I should really say it's a 5 star but maybe no one deserves this. I cannot put my hands on anything that they did wrong. We came for a conference and the check in even though it was a bus load of people. They handled it well and in a timely manner.

Visually this place is amazing! The lobby is breathtaking. Fireplace oversized chairs glass elevators… water fountains. It feels as if you have walked into a five-star hotel on some Island. The rooms are large contemporary and clean. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because two different times I felt a little treated by the front desk. Everyone has a bad second or two and maybe I just caught one of them. One was just a smart sarcastic reply and one was of hesitance to assist. Outside of that everyone else was great I definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again…

BE AWARE! This Hotel is below average to say the least. I arrived with my son after a long day and to our disappointment there was no hot water in the room and the toilet could not be flushed properly. We were forced to use fresh towels to freshen up before bed. The next morning during our check out we complained about the quality of the room. Two days later after several messages left for the manager I received a phone call. The manager was very impolite and sarcastic. The staff overall are very rude and unprofessional. Don't stay at this hotel you will be very disappointed.

Nicest Holiday Inn in Florida currently. The restaurant is pretty pricey for Ocala, not sure why it's so expensive. Seems a little out of place but there's a Gators across the street!

Stayed here during hurricane Irma with my daughter, dog and 3 cats. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. They went above and beyond to accommodate everyone that came even without a reservation! I made a reservation on Expedia and though it was confirmed, it was for the correct dates but in 2018! The management gave me a room anyway! Thank God because I had no gas and nowhere else to go! The gas stations were out of gas along I75 and all hotels were sold out! They had food in the am and pm and even provided complimentary lunches to go when people where leaving! The power went out but they had a generator. The staff was helpful and kind. They stayed in the banquet rooms overnight to help the guests fleeing from Irma. These guys have hearts of gold and have many blessings coming their way! Thanks so much for all the love and humanitarianism you showed all your guests!

I am handicapped and they helped us get our things to the rooms. The other gentleman in the other room is92 and also handicapped, the lady with us was so grateful for the help he gave us. We were very tired and scared about this storm. Thank you to your maintenance man what a nice man! I feel that Jay and chuck at this hotel went above and beyond there duties to help through this storm here in Ocala. They always had a smile and ready to help with anything. You have 2 great employees. Hard to find now days. Please commend them they would be the ones I would want around if we have to seek shelter again! Thank you Jay and Chuck!

These were by far the most comfortable beds I've slept in at a hotel. They had a variety of pillows on each bed (firm and soft). The sheets were nice. The hotel is nicely decorated and make you feel elegant. My kids liked the common area. It looked like a beautiful venue for a wedding/ reception. The restaurant "Sky" was very nice and the food was unique and good. The breakfast was ok too. The waiters seemed like they were worried they would get their head cut off if they cus…tomized you order at all (we asked for a fruit cup instead of a banana with the kids meal). The waiter did his best to accommodate us. Now for the bad new. We stayed in a double queen sweet. The kitchenette is just a sink, small fridge and microwave. The coffee machine didn't work bc of the plug but that was immediately rectified by moving my mom to a king room (we left after the first night). The bathroom was super tiny. The door is directly in front of the toilet… the shower is behind the door. I'm a small woman and it's annoying to climb over the toilet to get to the shower if another family member opens the door. You can't do you right hair and open the door. Please know that the room my mom moved to had another type of bathroom with a non traditional walk in shower. It was much better and I could tolerate it. All of this said, I would stay again! It's a beautiful hotel. The housekeeping people were sweet and helpful! The restaurant is delicious and convenient. The cocktails are on point.

Wonderful location and the most comfortable beds! The staff was friendly and helpful during our stay. The only thing that the hotel did not have was continental breakfast, however, there is a restaurant you can order food from. Overall, this Holiday Inn is located around the mall and other restaurants, and was the best for an amazing nights sleep.

This hotel is great! Very nice decor and very nice staff. The rooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The restaurant on the 6th floor was very nice and the food was great. The pool out side looks very nice although I didn't swim in it. Breakfast was good but the wait was way to long it took a good 45 min and we were the only ones there. Other than the breakfast restaurant, the hotel was wonderful.

Small rooms compared to other hotels. They push their breakfast as a full-service, menu driven, breakfast… but it's a buffet. Yes, there is a menu but the server said to just eat the buffet, it us a better deal. Breakfast wasn't fancy, but we only paid $5 for it. I recommend you go to Cracker Barrel just up the street. Nice lobby and sitting area. We had a double queen room, beds were comfortable. Rooms have a small keyring coffee pot and 4 coffee pods. The coffee was good. I would stay here again, but I certainly wouldn't pay their full price.

This is a very nice Holiday Inn hotel. I was there for my brother's wedding which was lovely. Their rooms are nice and clean the beds are comfortable and there's plenty of amenities. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

I booked 2 rooms one double bed room, and one King. I was charged a price difference on both rooms. Upon my arrival my king room was given away. I asked for the price to be adjusted as the room with the king bed was $50 more. Brenda at the front desk was totally unwilling to make the situation right I even had my confirmation for the king room in my possession. I will never stay here again not because the error in the room, but because the fact that there was so management or customer service to make the error right. Instead she just arruged with me and was totally unwilling to accommodate me at all. I had just had back surgery and had to travel for work. Terrible customer service, no compassion for my situation and I didn't get what I paid for. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone either. And I frequent Ocala often for business.

My husband surprised with a room this weekend. We have 6 kids and never get away with just us. Our room had a jacuzzi tub in it as well. Our room was 320 and one thing we didn't like was it was missing the blackout curtains and the sun came right in and I wanted to sleep in and couldn't. That kinda ruined it for me!. Was a beautiful place though, just wished it had blackout curtains!

We went to the sky restaurant at this hotel and it was good, good service and good food… The lobby was beautiful.

My family love it. The sky restaurant is amazing all food so yummy and the manager is so friendly and very nice with my kids.

An electronic piano plays so loud outside of the rooms it drowns out any other noise, but it goes on all night long. The TV doesn't work at all, just scrambled signal. It has the looks but doesn't play the part.

Eh it's not terrible, but it's definitely the worst Holiday Inn I've been to! I usually love all Holiday Inns, but this one is pretty shoddy with it's blasting bright green walls and floors, stupid squeaky desk chair and not very up-to-date (modern) design that the rest of the Holiday Inns have. Do yourself a favor, stay at the Hampton Inn across the street, it's brand new and MUCH nicer.

Clean. The beds were great for a 3 star hotel with great memory foam toppers. We stayed in other nearby hotels in the Ocala, FL area and their beds were nowhere near as comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave in the room is nice. Only complaint: fitness center is under construction and we were told there was a hot breakfast. After we checked in. We found it was not only NOT free, but when I asked when breakfast was the next morning, was told breakfast was from 7 to 11 so we let the kids sleep in. At 1030 when we got there, they told us breakfast CLOSED at 10. So because they told us the WRONG time for breakfast, we had to go find a restaurant for breakfast.

Very please with the facility. Service was good and the facility clean. We ordered room service and they forgot a few items, but quickly brought them. I would highly recommend this hotel to others. Thanks for accommodating our stay.

Awesome. Had a great stay!. Favorite place to come. Everyone is always friendly, and the rooms very clean!. The upstairs restaurant is tasty and fair priced. Beds are comfy too. Will continue to return.

This is my all time favorite. It's pricey at $169 but it's perfect. The staff is very accommodating. The decor is gorgeous, and it seems to just lend it's self to photography. I've done several photo shoots here, all with excellent results. But apart from the decor, it's practically sound proof, so far as the privacy of the rooms. I love the memory foam bed sets, very worth the visit. This is NOT your typical Holiday Inn! It's absolutely gorgeous. And I highly recommend it.
