Don’t stay here. No one can go int he pool.

Spa is wonderful and staff by the pool, too.

Poor service and a general bad attitude from the staff. I got the impression that they really don't care about their guests at all.
We had problem after problem during our 5 day stay there and despite reaching out to the management several times, nothing was done. Customer service is none existant. We paid 4500 dollars for five nights so would have expected better. To top it all on the day we left, we discovered that our account had been debited an additional 900 dollars which we hadn't spent. The response from the staff is that they do that as that is what they expect guests to spend on New Year's Eve. We purposely did not spend anything at the hotel due to the appalling service there. We have never been treated so badly in any hotel ever.

Fabulous resort. Great rooms and patio. Good service at the beach and pool and attached restaurant. My son and I stayed there Nov 27-30. Thank you Shore Club for a much-needed relaxing getaway! We will be back soon!

Have gone there for past few years. Service was non existent. Place has really fallen in past few years.

We stayed there in September. It was our 2nd time there. We love it. Room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. Pool staff was great. Never had to wait for drinks or food at the pools. I just wish someone would tell me what the fragrance is in the lobby. It smells wonderful!

Have stayed at the Shore Club twice now, and we love it! Great staff… Raymond on the beach was extremely attentive… Luis and Yulia at the pool bar are awesome… and Elijah the pool attendant was great! Great food, the rooms are clean and comfortable; food is great! Nothing bad to note.

Let me state the good. The staff at The Shore Club was great! They were very friendly and attentive. The pools are gorgeous and very relaxing, but you have to get there early to reserve your lounge chairs. Now let me state the bad. There is a disgusting perfume smell in the lobby that nauseated me! Not sure if it is pumped in through vents, but it’s awful! Our room was tiny and had very outdated decor. From the moment we arrived, there was a loud noise coming from the pipes that only disappeared after we flushed the commode. There was also no room in the mini fridge to store water. Overall, I would not stay here again.

I was very hesitant going here after reading a lot of negative reviews, but it actually turned out to be great! The hotel was good, but the best part of our stay was the pool. The staff was exceptional and took care of us everyday. Thank you to our favorite waitress, Nicole Falcon, for all the awesome recommendations and great service she provided! Pool is great. Much quieter weekdays. Friday-Sunday madhouse. They even limit pool chairs to two on the weekend. Great cocktails by the pool. Watermelon smash was refreshing. Stayed in a suite with two balconies with amazing views of the ocean. Would stay here again.

A fantastic hotel in a great location. The rooms are modern and inviting the bath room are a good size with a walk in shower/bath room the shower is super powerful. One thing that let it down was it's a bit lacking on clothes hanging space. The pools are lovely and the hotel is kept very clean and tidy. L'd highly recommended a stay here.

This place is awesome! Nice beachside hotel, clean, smells amazing. The spa is top notch. I love hanging out by the pool with the DJ playing good music. They also have great service, good food and drinks. Highly recommended!

The location of the hotel is ideal, the lobby is ultra modern but the rooms feel dated. The furniture is modern but the building itself is very old. It's just a bad combination of ultra modern and old outdated. Personally, I feel the value wasn't up to the expectations. The mini bar in your room is high priced and so is the hotel restaurant. All these high expenses with outdated rooms with a bad view of another buildings AC units… makes the hotel feel overpriced. Update to Hotel response: I'm more than happy to return when I'm in the area again and give it a new review. I'm glad to see the hotel is aware of it's need for a refurbishment.

Seems like a nice place! I was only there for a brief get together out back. The bar was nice and there was good atmosphere having an open area. It was a good environment for a meet and greet. I'd be happy to return!

Stayed for 4 nights here recently. From the moment you walk in and smell the awesome unique air refreshers they use to the stunning ocean view rooms this place was awesome. Like any resort food and beverage is a little pricey but the quality was there so that was OK with me. Location is just perfect for a tourist who doesn't want to rent a car in the middle of everything you could need. The staff was all so friendly and attentive to our needs. Will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Miami. Thanks shore club you run a tight ship.

Beautiful modern hotel. Hotel staff was very helpful and nice. Clean, safe and quiet rooms. There is an outside bar with beautiful lit up seating. A restaurant, 2 outdoor pools with DJs and another bar open during the day at the pool. Beach just off the back of the hotel and comes with beach chairs and towels. Walking distance to nightlife and restaurants. We loved staying here and will definitely be back. The only negative thing to say was $80 to park for 2 days but it is south beach on a summer weekend.

Excellent hotel! We stayed for several days last week, and had a wonderful time. Hotel, room, and grounds were all lovely-beautiful decor and the bed and linens were super comfy. The location was perfect, and ALL of the staff members-valets, front desk, maintenance, servers, pool, and beach attendants-were friendly, warm, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It is our new favorite place to stay in Miami Beach, and hoping to come back in December!

Great visit! Hotel and grounds were beautiful, room and bed SUPER comfy, and the staff was wonderful! Everyone who works there-from valets and front desk, housekeeping and maintenance, to the restaurant and pool staff-all were so friendly, very accommodating, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Would definitely return and would recommend to others!

The staff could not have been any friendlier from the minute we pulled up the valet to the doorman to the front desk staff to the bell man. The resort just has a very cool chill relaxed vibe we couldn’t have enjoyed our time there any better! I would definitely stay there again. The rooms are a bit minimalistic to say the least but nonetheless they were clean and comfortable granted we only stayed for one evening if we stayed for any longer I probably would’ve preferred a larger room. Nonetheless the halls and the rooms are infused with just the loveliest fragrance! again the staff could not have been any more attentive from the bar staff to the ocean beach club staff — really very impressed! I stayed there 11 years ago and don’t recall having as pleasant of an experience as I did this time!

Great location and service.

Feeling Disappointed. Just left yesterday. Was my 5th stay & I’ve seen much better treatment. The room wasn’t the room I requested. The ice machine on the 16th floor was broken the entire time there. I booked a king bed with ocean view like I always have done. I got a rink dink standard room with Queen bed. I had to wait at least 2 hrs after I called to complain. I felt like I had to beg for what I paid for. I got a nicer room on the 16th floor but NOT the view I expected. I couldn’t see the morning sunrise which is what I want to see being in Miami. It was a nice side view but not the full ocean view I expected. They have never given room upgrades like other hotels even when I have stuck with them for the past 5 years! Think I will go back to Eden Rock in Aug when I return.

Possibly the strangest hotel I’ve stayed in. Concrete floors and the bathroom walls are frosted glass so it sounds like you’re peeing in church — everything echos. That being said it’s on the water and if you’re not planning on spending too much time in the room it’s perfect. The parrots and iguanas in the pool area are great.

I like the smell in the hallway of the maintenance, and the shower is so big and tub is huge and deep, and decorations are very unique, there couches and beds outside by the swimming pool, so you can rest on them. Bed is very comfortable, pillows are just right and blankets are soft. We sleep on king size bed, curtains are white. Everything is just so special and unique. I was walking on the beach today and thinking how 3 years ago I wanted to be on this exactly beach, walking. Sand is soft, waves and playful, they like sugary tops when you look at them far away.

Overall a great stay, minus a few run-ins with the staff. The room was spacious and clean and overall the hotel was quiet. They have a very cool outdoor lounge area that is filled with small candles are dusk. The atmosphere was so calm and relaxed. However, the staff seemed to be hit or miss. One night the temperature dropped considerably so I asked the front desk if they could send me an extra blanket. I was assured that the blanket would be up within minutes. 45 minutes later, no attendant and no blanket. I finally went out and asked another staff member if I could take a blanket and it was promtly given. The other run in was with a very rude and lazy member of the restaurant. A massive gratituity is already added to each check, so I assume that she didn't feel the need to be nice since she knew a large tip was guaranteed. In our party of four, our water was never once refilled, our brunch plates began to pile up with no one to take them, and we all but had to tackle her down to get our check at the end.

Wonderful staff. We stayed in a double queen superior that was quite large. The bathroom was super-sized as well. There is a shallow (3 ft) warm water pool that"s just right for twin infant boys. Would definitely stay here again.

Many unsolved problems in the room (cold water faucet that no longer works, faulty light switch (unable to turn off the lighting…), ordering of past meals but not served…). For such a budget, it is unacceptable… Everything is in appearance, the Hall is beautiful but behind there is not much…

The BEST breakfast on the beach. Everything cooked and presented to perfection. So nice I could eat twice we will come here every Miami visit for sure!

The view was unforgettable. I got one of the more pricier rooms, and the view was beautiful, the patio area could have been a little more clean. The beach is literally a small walk away and the hotel even has their own pools. You have to rent an umbrella though which was dumb, and the staff was sometimes a little rude. The room was kept clean and the bathroom was also impeccably clean. The food was good too, there was a buffet style breakfast and it was delicious.

Just a pass but it looks great.

It was enjoyable stay. The rooms are quite simple. The hotel is a bit on the old side. The food and drink options are limited, but the hotel is closer to many other restaurants. The hotel staff was neither dismissive nor go out of their way to help.

I loved it, very canchero. It lacks a little maintenance in the rooms. Young audience, good music and excellent beach care.

Nice place with basic amenities. There is a $23.00 resort fee, it includes beach lounges and towels, but strangely not the umbrella which is an extra $19.00. If you're a planning to stay on the beach you're going to need one. I've been to many Miami Beach hotels before and never seen this. It's easy to overlook in the description of the resort free as most people assume that umbrellas come with it. Taking an extra star off for that reason.

Awesome atmosphere. Came for a free event for Miami Music Week. The only issue I had was that it's only top shelf liquor. Expect to pay Miami prices for a drink. I paid $25 for a vodka and red bull fml. Other than that, a really cool and fun place.

5 star prices, 3 star resort! Ice makers not working on 3 floors… had to call front desk. Seems there was no toilet paper on site for 2 days, had to use facial tissue. Prepaid the cost through a 3rd party… and was charged an additional $300 and $106 … did not charge anything to the room, except was told there was a $20 daily resort fee. I am ok with that, however my wife and I were only there 3 days… should have been $60. I have contacted the hotel and am waiting for an explanation. Update: Changed my rating from 3 star to 1 star based on the reply by the owner. Overpriced $1100 for 3 nights… bring your own toilet paper.

Perfect pool, and great location, if you demand perfection you might notice the tired edges! But I'd highly recommend it!

My husband and I returned to the Shore Club after three years (see previous review). Because it was for an annual trip to celebrate his birthday, I wrote ahead to GM Jesper who was EXCELLENT in his follow-up and helping me plan a few special surprises. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and enjoyed a thoroughly warm reception by the staff who got us situated right away. We had a STUNNING room upgrade for our special birthday and the views were excellent. We've stayed at most of the major resorts on that part of Collins and the Shore Club is the only with this amount of balconies and high floor views. It feels more like a resort and not a typical South Beach boutique hotel. The staff (including guest experience manager, Alexander) helped get the stay off to a wonderful start with a late-afternoon surprise of some chilled champagne, personalized note, and sweets. Listen, it's very clear that the entire Shore Club staff is aware the hotel structure itself may have seen better days, but they're working on some exciting decoration updates in the months ahead from what I hear. Also, even if it's a tad older, it's still VERY clean and maintained excellently. Now, onto the pool and beach, because that's what you're hear for! The staff is SUPER sweet and accommodating around the pool. The young lady and gentleman who set up our chairs each day always did so with a smile, and never complained about putting up an umbrella or getting additional towels.

Grounds are super cute. Not high end but, Def 4 star. The actual rooms are more akin to a 3.5 star hotel. I am sure their are nicer ones but, my room was not attractive and the window faced a wall.

The pool area is nice (aside from some ratty furniture), but it doesn’t make up for unclean rooms that don’t match the pictures on the site. Do. Not. Recommend. When we arrived to our room the floor was covered in crumbs, peanuts and band-aid wrappers. Gross. There were three of us, we booked a 2-queen room with a sofa. Our room had no sofa. They did bring one up later that day after we requested it. No hangers in the closet, had to make a request for those. We did not get wash cloths after the first night and had to make another request to house keeping to get them. The door to our balcony broke/lock got stuck the second day and the engineer had to come up to fix it. The rooms do not match the pictures on the site. The site photos were probably taken years ago, the furniture in the room was cheap and dirty. It’s clear this place makes their money on the pool (drinks and food) and doesn’t invest in the actual hotel. Based on our experience I would guess there is a lot of turnover at this place, which probably means they don’t take care of their employees and they certainly don’t place a high importantance in the hotel guests experience.

In a very good location however for the price the rooms are very shabby! A very small room which is just enough for two suitcases.

I liked the hotel, well located. The rooms are basic but they are fine. It's not ideal for kids. The beaches are spacious.

Our room was dirty. No housekeeping service for 5 days. Very expensive. Water leaked through the sliding door. Rug was wet our entire stay. Room had a funny musty smell. Very late check in told 1 didn't get our room until 530. The pool was nice but hotel very unhappy and the front desk staff not willing to accommodate. I was told the service charge was waived but still Charged over 300 a night. Very unhappy with this place. The bartenders at the pool bar cocktail waitresses and the towel service by the pool was great. Everything else not good. Haven't had a vacation in 5 years and was truly let down with this hotel room.

We had a wonderful time at Shore Club! The poor reviews regarding the rooms had us worried, but our room far exceeded our expectations! The room was very clean, and housekeeping did an excellent job restocking & cleaning each day! Plus, they were SO helpful and friendly! We love the shower & tub which is an area all by itself separated by a glass partition from the rest of the bathroom — very cool! We thoroughly enjoyed the pool area, and the back entrance to the beach is incredibly convenient. We really enjoyed Shore Club and highly recommend it!

My fiance and I stayed at the shore club in October. The hotel was great the staff was awesome. The day we left we realize we left our phone at the hotel. By this time we was already at the airport. When I called the hotel they in fact had the phone. Although I was glad they had the phone I was worried about how I was gonna get the phone back. Timothy Bonneau, came to my aide. He told me not to worry he would make sure that I receive my phone the next day. My phone did in fact come the next day. That was a true customer service. I will before ever great full. Cuddles to the shore club.

Service was very good. Loved using the pool, beach, free bikes. Very modern. Could a little upkeep or maintenance to keep the placing looking new. Lush outdoor area.

The location of the Shore Club is perfect. The staff were great especially Drew and the bar staff. The valets were fantastic. We were on 16th floor in a full ocean view room and the balcony and view were breathtaking. Pool area is fairly condensed and busy, but the beach is great with loungers and bar/snacks service. No evening restaurant. Didn't think the drinks were that great, but we would definitely go back.

Big pool, there are two. Great view of the sea, direct access to the beach which is superb. Music at the bar with DJ. Good cocktail. Great location.

The courtyard, pool area and the entire outside of the hotel was beautiful and I really loved the vibe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room however, did not live up to my expectations. I was in a junior suite with two queen beds (third floor). The room was very plain and not like any pictures I seen on their site. The room didn't feel clean when I first walked in, and after removing my shoes I could feel how dirty the floor was. The outside window was open when I arrived and there were cigarette ashes on the ledge between the two windows. My rooms view was the roof of the restaurant next door. Some animals seem to be living in the ceiling as I could hear them walking around and scratching throughout the day and night. Out of the 4 nights that I stayed here, the k-cups were replaced one time and only with decaf coffee (I'm a coffee addict) so I had to call the front desk. They apologized and coffee sent to the room right away. The remaining 2 times the room was "cleaned" they didn't replace the coffee and I had to call the front desk again. Aside from that, my experience was alright. I loved being so close to the beach. There's a door at the back of the pool area that is just a few steps from the beautiful beach. They also have chairs, beds, umbrellas, and a full friendly staff on the beach. I would give this hotel an extra star had it not been for my room experience.

My girls and I stayed at the Shore Club hotel and I could honestly say this was the best hotel experience ever! The atmosphere was more than amazing, the staff members were beyond accommodating and friendly. Not ONE staff member walked by us without a friendly greeting, the poolside was sooooo beautiful, our room was so comfortable (the beds were to die for) — I'm extremely big on customer service so I'm glad to say that this hotel really had the best service I could ever ask for. All in all, The Shore Club made our experience in Miami so perfect. Definitely coming back again!

So far my experience has been great! We were given a poolside room but requested ocean view called front desk and they took care of it right away! However I think it's time for the shore club to do some updates, other then that we are enjoying ourselves here!

Not that great of a hotel in my opinion. Breakfast was not that great so only had fruit. Rooms look plain and simple, so not that great. Only good thing was the pool area and the beach. The pool could have been made better but it's good enough if you wanna relax by a pool instead of the beach. And I agree with some other reviewers, the photos on the website look so much better than in reality. Maybe focus on improving the hotel rather than the pictures?

Very decent hotel! Very rough pool, not very relaxing. Otherwise, beautiful and large rooms and a very decent service.

Let me start by saying that if I could give this hotel a zero rating, I would. This is my first review ever on Google, but I just felt it was necessary. I'm trying to spare other people from the same pain and hassle we went through. My girlfriend and I flew all the way from DC to spend Memorial Day weekend in south beach. She booked this particular hotel due their well put online presence and their inviting pictures. In addition to this, we were also attracted to their advertisement of a "state of an art gym" (we love to stay in shape, even during vacation time). Well, this hotel is the definition of false advertisement. The gym couldn't fit more than 3 people at a time, and it had nothing more than a couple of Dumbbells and a treadmill. The hallways smell like mildew. The elevator felt as if it was going to break down at any time. The overall look of the hotel was run down and dirty. In addition, we were also blindsided by a fee (not advertised) of $150 a day, that was charged as a lump sum of $450 for the three days we were supposed to stay there for. We cancelled the reservation before we even made it to the room. BOTTOM LINE … DO NOT stay at this hotel. You can find better options in South Beach for the same price.

Did a 3 night/4 day stay and loved the hotel. Pool was great filled with nice lounge areas. Their beach was near jet ski rentals which we did and suggest. The rooms where simple and cozy. Bathrooms where large & updated. Taxes restaurant for breakfast was great as well. We paid a bit more for the weekend we choose to stay there but there usual going rate is good for what they offer. Wouldn't spend over 300 a night on a busy weekend for hotels down that way.

Stayed here 5 days/4 nights. Booked a package on expedia and enjoyed the room but was disappointed there wasn't a better view. The absolute best part though was how Ricky took care of my friend. She got a nasty sunburn from our time on the beach and the next two days he went out of his way to seat us in the shaded cabana so that she could still celebrate my birthday without worsening her condition. He was the best and I'm really appreciative of him and the pool staff for being so thoughtful! Overall experience: 4 stars Ricky: 5 stars.

Great location and checks all the boxes… more shabby chic than refined. Air conditioning could be improved and pillows could be refreshed…

Got here really early after cruising. Staff took us to the pool and gave us a day bed for free while room was getting set up. Then a guy came up with a free drink and apologized for construction noise. At that moment I first heard it. Room was awesome. Super classy. Staff very helpful and nice. No complaint. WILL stay again.

Our experiance was great from the moment we were greeted by Ivan the Vallet was the very nice to us. The reception are was nice and the representatives of your company were nice and we'll informed. The pool area was beautiful as well.

The customer service is amazing. Rooms are great, bed so comfy. Low lighting at night but personally think it's adds thlobthe ambience. Loving it so far.

I left an expensive coat in the hotel and Chris medina their security guard did an amazing job in shipping it back to me thru fedex . I had it back within no time thank you Chris for your honesty and efficiency.

"Service Oriented" is not the primary concern of the establishment. They have been well schooled in the words "I am sorry". My internet did not work, the router was in my room. I got an Ethernet cable. Requested early arrival late check out, offered to pay, was not informed prior to arrival that they do not guarantee — had meetings — spoke to management. Had offered to pay extra to accommodate, staff ill equipped to be able to resolve this request. Coffee pot in room did not work properly. Microwave did not work. Gym is cheap, not good. No free breakfast as advertised. Luggage was delivered to wrong room and left there. Asked kitchen staff for glass ware, for in room eating, was told that guests are not allowed to have china in room. My housekeeper was excellent in securing items as needed. Concierge conscientious, well mannered and on top of things. OH and my room phone could not retrieve messages and had a horrible connection when trying to speak with IT.

It's a good place with good service I liked.

An aging building in desperate need of renovation that preys on the novelty of being located on beach-front property. It is by no means a bad hotel, but the rates charged can only be justified when considering the location alone. All other aspects of the hotel (rooms, staff, facilities, food, etc) are at best mediocre.

I didn't stay at what looks like a very lovely hotel, but I did done at the amazing Nobu with outstanding food and even better service! My only hope with this rating is that The Shore Club Hotel would highly consider the valet staff as a representation of their image and brand! When coming to such a high end hotel and restaurant, I shouldn't have to wait several minutes then flag down the valet staff as they stand around staring and chatting. When pulling up to valet in brands that don't command the same amount of respect as the Shore Club, you are always approached and greeted by the valet team. This evening, I wasn't sure if I was expected to valet park my own car. This one off experience didn't sour my taste, but repeated experiences of the same would definitely make me reconsider where I stay and dine. I'm an avid supporter of over tipping for good service and this was the first time in a long time that I didn't provide ANY tip (for the valet). But let me remind you again that the restaurant and staff were beyond exceptional… Go for the food!

We were hosted between 16 and 20/09/2015 in the North Tower with my wife and a friend partner. The rooms were small.
It the night of 18 to 19/09 (3:30 AM) shot is fire alarm failures in the system. While it was the second time in a week that it happened, staff was not prepared to let us know, and we evacuated the building, passengers who had not been at the previous event. Apparently the staff of
He retired October 20 at 6:30 AM and there was no staff who help us carry the suitcases to the lobby.
Regrettable situations lived in a hotel nice 4 stars which lead me to modify the evaluation which had originally made.

My friend and I stayed at the Shore Club for one week and honestly had the best vacation of our lives. I travel a lot for work and I have seen and stayed at some beautiful resorts but the Shore Club was just down done fantastic. The hotel was very clean, the location is perfect, in the heart of everything and the staff was professional, friendly and welcoming I would like to give a special shout-out to Paulo Franssinetti at the concierge. He went above and beyond to help us book our outings and meal. He is just a breath of fresh air!  He really intensified and highlighted our stay. I would totally stay there again!
