It is super well located, it is a very nice and youthful place. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Comfortable beds seize from the first impression. Very nice bar but with basic drinks. The staff at the reception and bar excellent. Very nice stay here. It's worth coming with a group of friends to have an excellent time. The rooms are not very large (the 4 bed) but it is perfect if your interest is to rest or sleep and leave the rest of the time. It met 100% of my expectations.

Great location, moderately clean rooms and bathrooms, i. E. A lot or sand on the room floor. Toilet cabin was a little too small for a 6 ft guy like me but still manageable. The staff was extremely friendly, plus we got free drinks at the bar while watching the game. Overall a good experience.

I had a really great time at this hostel. I will be coming back everytime I'm in town. The staff are so fun and kind! No hassles, just great vibes. The free breakfast is delicious! Lazara was a delight to meet from day one of my stay. She's kind, funny and makes a great waffle! The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen area as well. No noise at night on the main halls which I was initially concerned about. This place is right on the bus and trolley stop! Walking distance to all the main parts of south beach, including the beach. I just loved this hostel and had a really great stay!

Great prices for drinks during happy hour right in South Beach. Cool vibe a couple friends stayed there and really enjoyed the staff and accommodations. If I visit I see myself checking out or for sure!

I definitely recommend this hostel. Location is super convenient to/from Miami International Airport, South Beach is just couple of hundred meters away and there is diversity. Expect good breakfast and light dinner as well. Couple of restaurants nearby providing various choices. I wasn't worried about the security inside the hostel and outside with police officers fairly every after couple of minutes walk.

Nice hostel to meet the night of south beach and its surroundings. Good attention to it. Good relation cost/benefit.

Just go here. Seriously. There is complimentary breakfast AND dinner, good Wi-Fi and comfortable dorms, it's quite cheap for the things you are getting, but number one is that the people who work here are the most respectable and patient people I've encountered in this city. They were fully booked and when my AirBnB locked all of the tenants out (due to a pretty normal South Beach occurrence apparently) these guys were the only ones who helped me get through that night of hell. Will definitely be recommending this one to everybody. They do great night events and party bus stuff as well, from what I hear it's a huge effing party.

This is good, but we were in a room for 12 what in truth was for 6 as much! There is No Wi-Fi in the room. This well-located.

Very good vibes of the people who work in the Hostel. Very good location, 2 blocks from Ocean Drive and 3 from the beach. The hostel organises excursions to the clubs every night and the night bar this great.

Best hostel to stay in if you don't mind smaller rooms. Stayed for my birthday and the staff was simply amazing and very helpful with anything that I needed. Room was a bit small but I got to meet really cool people from all other the world. Would for sure stay there next time I visit Miami.

Great hostel, near the beach and full of young people. Breakfast is simple but tasty. Dinner is also simple, but not always tasty. Don't forget to arrive early since they are restrict about it. I would return.

Central, close to the beach, convenient to stay OK, 6 rooms too small no space for suitcases.

Very cozy spot. Value for money. Staff is very nice and helpful. Free breakfast and dinner included in the price of stay. Internet is free. A lot if international guest staying there. A lot of night activities planned by the staff. The rooms are small but extremely clean, so are the bathrooms and kitchen.

It is a hostel with excellent value for money. Renovated kitchen and bathrooms. Very good atmosphere. Wifi only in the lobby and quite intermittent. Laundry service and drying for very little money. They organise outings every night. The rooms are not entirely comfortable, as the only negative point. Breakfast very simple but it's OK for what you pay for. Very location a few blocks from the beach, Ocean Drive and 5th Street where there are many shops and many places to eat. And it's close to Lincoln Road that the local bus goes through the hostel door and leaves you in a few minutes. Recommended Place! …

The worst hostel I have ever made! Flee!
The hostel encourages people to drunk with pre-evening promotional offers.
There is no soundproofing, people come and go in the hallways, doors slam people talk, scream and drink all night.
The person who slept with us in the room is completely drunk from an evening organized by the hostel.
People continued to party in the hostel without any control of the MANAGENEMENT.
At 4am I couldn't take any more I went down to see the receptionist, because in the room of a cote someone had taken narcotics and shouted without stopping. Totally out of control. That's when someone in the hallway offered to buy him drugs!
It was too much, we left in the middle of the night and slept in our car.

I really appreciated the welcoming staff when I arrived. We each got a free beer which was a great start. The bathrooms were small and having a mirror in the room would have helped this so much. I could have done my make up in the bathroom instead of taking up valuable sink space. Being in a mixed dorm, I found it hard to change in the bathroom because it was so small. Everything seemed to be broken or out of order. One stall was out of commission because the door was hanging off the hinge. All the wash machines and the change machine were broken. Overall it was an ok place to lay my head for a couple nights in Miami.

Amazing place to live in! These guys provide breakfast, lunch and dinner as well for an amazing price. Loved the atmosphere here. The only complaint that I have with SoBe is there aren't enough charging points in the room… Otherwise I had a fantastic experience with them.

Location is amazing, truly enjoy this place as soon as you walk in the door you'll see a Super awesome front bar followed by recpectionist desk where guests check in. Service is outstanding from the second I walked in just ask for help. Truly amazing place.

The site is fine if your demands are humble. Spanish-speaking staff and guests are excellent, helpful and very pleasant. But, there is one exception: there is a anglophone receptionist and only Anglophone (no sectarian sounding) with pigtail and mustache, which is a pretty nasty guy. It is not apt to work face to the public. No empathize, no gift of people and is racano even for the breakfast tickets.
Up to here, all phenomenal. You make three packs of butter and you stay like a god. MyCeviche is right next door and is spectacular, customer service is better than in the Bernabeu VIP box.

It is very good located, they are very friendly and the drinks in the happy hour very good!

The Hostel is really amaziing!
The cleanliness in the room and the bathrooms was 100% spotless! Always clean! The cleanliness is constant and frequent, so it stays all the time mega clean!
The staff of the Hostel is wonderful! Too friendly all and always willing to lend us your help! All very friendly, enjoying your work and making you feel at home! In the bar of the hostel is given to meet many people, socialize and spend it amazing! Also, the staff has scheduled the entertainment for each night which, makes it even more entretenico!
The location is just great, you are 5 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from shopping in the area of Lincoln Rd, Collins Ave and the entertainment on Ocean Drive.

I loved everything about this place! I literally booked a trip back when I got home. They offer free breakfast and dinner. I only made it to breakfast and they had Belgium waffles, juice and fruit. It was super good! The whole vibe and atmosphere here was perfect. The rates are good too!

I saw many water bugs in the kitchen. Staff was decent and the guests were friendly. Met many cool people. It's affordable compared to other hostels and I would go again just for the vibes amd location but the cleanliness needs a boost. Also the showers didn't always work with hot water.

The atmosphere was amazing. The bartender (Alex I think) was so nice, helpful, and super cute. The people were awesome… The bed wasn't the most comfortable but honestly for $20 you can't go wrong!

My favorite Hostel when I hit Miami :) staff always makes you feel welcome and Julio at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate me when my flight got in late at night and I was super tired. Always a cool vibe and people from all over the globe.

Lower standard than the partner Hostel Rock Hostel and occasional problems with organization and technology, a relaxed atmosphere and good breakfast.

Good position in town, great price. Room cleaning could be better, and lockers should be included (you have to bring you own lock). Bathroom is ok and dinner and breakfast are appropriate for a 20$/night hostel.

Wonderful staying in Miami beach, fun spirit, quiet rest It's a shame Wifi doesn't work out of the reception/bar. Common kitchen with only one fire, can be better Perfect location, silent bedrooms, clean bathrooms, good breakfast, amazing bar.

Seems like one of the best places for the real Miami party vibe/scene, but it's really noisy, housekeepers, guests, music, hallways, doors, everything. If you go, stay on the 2nd floor, quieter, better bathrooms. Seems like a quality place with quality people working, but then in Miami are the Jews the Latinos and the Latinos the Jews because you can tell it's owned by Jews (probably all the hostels are), but it's weird because they run it like it's a concentration camp or something — no breakfast for you without your ticket! Only ONE of each thing! YOU MUST HAVE YOUR TICKET TO GET BREAKFAST! Work camp or concentration camp I can't tell which.

I stayed for a month and a half in the USA, and I stayed 2 times several days in this hostel.
The hostel is relatively large! There are several armchairs and sofas in the hall (with plugs) which allows to be able to land. The cleaning is done every day which is good!
When I went there, many internationals (even basically) and it was great to make friends there. The beach near Ocean Drive is 10 min on foot, and there is a "supermarket" CVS at 5 minutes to go shopping (attention no fruit, meat, poultry, it's mostly cakes, drinks, chips, accessories).
Negative Points:
— depending on where you sleep in the hostel, people who enter the hallway to access the rooms can speak loud enough so when you sleep on the ground floor it's a hassle.
— we would have to repair the lockers under the beds because some of them could not close in the room I was in, but we had no problem flying. Access to room and room corridors by magnetic card.
-Breakfast is not great though…
There are a lot of people who eat at the Inn in the evening so you have to arrive early.
-Be careful to make the room time otherwise you pay extra (it disgusted me even for 2 hours. )
— In the hostel there is just a microwave of memory and nothing to cook there.
If you are offered the Indian Tour in the Everglades, do not do it sucks on the spot and some animals are in cages.

Good hostel and there are a lot of internationals!

I stayed at Sobe Hostel & Bar from February 13, 2017 to February 18, 2017. The location was awesome, it was three blocks away from South beach! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I loved how the staff hosted events every night for the guests. Every day was a different day filled with different activities and events. The hostel was very clean and the amenities were great. Free Breakfast & Free Dinner every day! Keep up the good work guys!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Clean. Large private Lockers in room. Breakfast provided. Very very colorful atmosphere. Lots of international people here. The one negative thing I experienced was cold showers all the time. Never any hot water.

Drug dealers and thiefs inside this hostel they took my new Rayban and camera I so people selling drugs inside the rooms cocaine and heroine. Don't go there.

Only good thing about this hostel is its location near South Beach.

The free dinner was great, breakfast was pretty ordinary. Wifi was useless. Good kitchen facilities. They waste a lot of plastic at meal time.

Location — you are in a fantastic location for South Beach. Everything is within walking distance and if you want to go further then public transport links are extremely close. Price — On the whole the price isn't bad at all but if there are more than two of you a hotel might be cheaper. Rooms — The rooms are extremely basic and one thing we didn't like is that there are no ladders to get to the top bunk on a bunk bed! Luckily I was on the bottom but my friend had to struggle to get up every night. In the middle of the night this was especially problematic. The rooms do have AC which is a blessing and they are of a fair size but the only storage is a stand of lockers which you have to pay for in order to lock unless you bring your own. Bathrooms — The bathrooms are communal (male and female seperated) and often can get very dirty with the foot traffic that go through there. You often have to wait in line to use them as one of the showers were out of order while we were there. Only two toilets and two basins as well. Lounge — As the lounge area also serves as a bar there is very limited seating which as you can only access the Wi-Fi from the lounge can be extremely annoying at times. Especially as there are very limited electricity outputs in order to charge your laptop. They have a DJ and music playing at the bar and as they don't close till 5am the music is often loud in the rooms until late in the night.

The place looks great for people looking for partying only. If you care about anything else (sleeping, service. ), you maybe want to look at other options.

I have to say its the worst hotel I have ever been. They lost my id. Yes! They ask me to keep the id in front desk when I asked for a hair dryer. After I keep safe of their hair dryer. They lost my id. I can't drive in 2 weeks and have to go to the license office wait and do all kinds of stupid things to have a new id.

THE BEST HOSTEL EVER REALLY NICE PEOPLE HERE, at night is like a club so much fun I met people from everywhere Two block from the beach one block from Nikki's club one of the best clubs I'm Miami I just love it and actually I'm booking now cuz this summer I will spend there again my vacations :).

I've traveled to tons of different cities around the world and have stayed in my fair share of hostels. South Beach Hostel had by far the worst customer service I've encountered. When I arrived Mariano told me that I had reserved a female dorm, despite my email confirmation from the booking agency saying I had reserved a male dorm. Mariano was unwilling to give me a refund or admit any mistake on the part of the company. He repeatedly said that it was my problem for making a reservation for a female dorm, which my confirmation statement does not say I did. This was unacceptable. I had to go find another place to stay since it was sold out. I definitely do not suggest this place. There are much nicer hostels in South Beach with friendlier service and closer to the beach.

Pros: -Helpful and welcoming staff, they basically answered any question I had. -complimentary breakfast and dinner, nothing fancy but nothing terrible either. -Lots of social stuff to do, the bar downstairs has cheap drinks. -5 min walk from south point beach -close to mini markets and Walgreens/cvs -safe area Cons -was stuck in a room with some crazy guy (staff didn't tell me I could've switched rooms till I complained about it while checking out) who wouldn't stop complaining about everything -beds were uncomfortable with spring mattresses with minimal padding -barely any hot water in the showers -Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms and the lobby area is usually too hectic to check emails etc in peace and quiet -couches in the lobby smell bad I would only come back here if I couldn't afford a decent hotel.

This is a good place to stay. It is close to the beach, have a wonderful social ambience with a lot of foreigners, most of them from europe. Is located very close to the beach. Definitely it has no good space at rooms but for the price it is definitely allright. 100% Recomended if you are heading to miami and want to know a lot of people.

Greaat place to stay. The front desk staff is super nice and helpful the rooms and bathrooms were clean. I definately recommend this place if you are on a budget and don't mind being around a lot of people.
