Perfect x a short stay. Large room. Poor breakfast.

Beautiful Hotel. It has a swimming pool, a bar and a direct exit to the beach. Excellent location.

We were two families, at two we were given rooms facing Collins, terrible as you hear all the noise, the windows seemed open and they are "sealed". We asked for the change and we were postponed during the entire stay. The Maid one day left us towels, another day no, we had to ask what we needed at the reception.
We have nothing to say about the patio and pool, all very nice. But unfortunately one uses the hotel mainly to rest and if that is harmed by noises it is impossible not to bother.

Very nice place. The people who work there are very cool. What Yes, breakfast prices were expensive for their quality. The beds are girls.

Good hotel. Very good location in Miami Beach near everything. Breakfast service Just right. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Happy hour at the pool with excellent drinks.

Hotel mines in the heart of Miami Beach. Perfect location. My favorite in December: the Whirlpool.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The hospitality was outstanding. It is beautiful inside and out. We had an issue with our restroom and they fixed it within ten minutes! The "backyard" has a pool, cabana rentals, a bar, food service, hammocks and so much more. The backyard leads right out to the beach. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Club Sandwich that excited — who would have thought that!?! Since the rain already clearly loomed, we returned here without great expectations. Well, we had to make sure that a Cobb salad was served on the outside card, but that had to be enough. All the more astonished we were about the quality of the food. The club sandwich, often drowned in a lot of mayonnaise or other sauce, convinced by a tasty balance of ingredients and a wonderfully crispy toast. The french fries were simply phenomenal, the best we were allowed to enjoy so far.
Also the Cobb salad was delicious, enough dressing, but not too much, so that the salad was still fresh crisp therefore, and also all other Ingredenzien could unfold their taste.
The Key lime pie was a bit peculiar. The consistency is very uncommon, but Geschmacklick was not to be faulted.
Last but not least, the coffee has to be mentioned, not a good espresso is served everywhere.

Location is A+, directly on the beach and close walk to everything. The pool area in the back is great. Service and staff were beyond helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable but nothing to write home about. Still 5 stars because who goes to South Beach just to sit in the room anyways? You can't beat this place for the price/location combo.

I just had the worst hotel experience ever. The most non accommodating and unpleasant staff! Me and my friend's flight got delayed… so we were hoping that as soon as we get to the hotel everything would be fine. My friend booked a superior 2 bedroom. Little did I know that they were gonna give us a small, one bedroom! So I tried to talk to them about it. They were very arrogant and offered to change the room, but not sure cuz they didn't have any available one at the moment. It was 10am and they wanted me to bring down my luggages from my room til they find an available 2br. Like, really? What did they expect me to do? Kill time in the lobby til they find us a different room? Oh well, lesson learned! Will never ever book to this hotel ever again!

Good location on Collins Ave. The pool, beach and free drinks sector are also outstanding. Excellent staff, especially Manuel. One hurts the small room, and they should also arrange a little hall entrance and reception.

We liked the hotel, the location is perfect because it is close to the Lincoln road. The rooms are clean, without humedqd and well maintained and decorated. There's a happy hours that for a dollar you take a drink. The staff was very friendly and attended.

Comfortable and good hotel the pool is not well regulated the temperature and put too many chemicals I was 1 day with annoying eyes thing that I had never spent in any pool. The parking lot that is one block expensive 30 USD a day. Good breakfast.

Our plans changed & we found ourselves going to Miami. Robinson & the amazing staff accommodated us last minute with charm, patience, & kindness. I highly recommend this little gem on south beach’s crown.

I am staying here for one night and will do it again in a couple of weeks… the location is excellent The Super comfy room the pool area is very nice and the attention is great. Highly recommended.

Just this past week we stayed at the Marseilles and I must say it made our trip! The Backyard & Pool area were stunning and perfect for a photo op! But one thing that trumped the view was the service, I have to say the pool attendant Eddie really went the extra mile and was so friendly, knowledgeable on what to do in Miami and helpful (especially when we were waiting a long time for our food) so THANK YOU EDDIE & the Marseilles, I’ll be sure to be back my next visit.

We paid $270 a night and checked in after a very long flight. The room sounded just like in the airplane. The fan couldn’t be turned off. The AC panel did not work. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone did not work either. I went down to talk to the front desk and waited for an hour until someone came and told us to wait until tomorrow to get things fixed. Bathroom is very small and uncomfortable. No bathtube. This is the standard like a better motel, not a four star. Totally overpriced.

Excellent experience at this hotel. Pool and Jacuzzi with very clean and clear waters that are thus in very few places with a very pleasant temperature. I recommend it.

This is a really great hotel. My room is nice — sea and city views, big, comfy bed, walk-in wardrobe with proper ironing board. The pool is lovely, and the backyard bar is great, with hammocks and games to play, and a gate out onto the beach. Plenty of Palm Trees (gotta have Palm Trees in Miami! ) add to the vibe and decor. Free cocktails at the outside bar from 6-7! Every member of staff I have dealt with has been unfailingly cheerful and helpful. Wi-Fi is also good and strong. Also, it appears to be really wheelchair friendly which is always good. I've only had breakfast at the restaurant but it was good and much less expensive than most hotel fare.

Negative! Room with Rumorosissimo air conditioning system noise, we asked to change room they did not, bad service very small rooms and to renovate!

Ideal to enjoy Miami and the beach. With a very good heated pool.

This place is a great location off the oceans and 2 blocks from Lincoln mall but really needs a proper remodel. They try to paint everything white to cover up. Even rusty door hinges. Room 804 has horrible sounds coming from the AC. Windows are sketchy, they’re closed but you can see cracks in the sill. The pool closes at 8. DONT BE FOOLED BY FLOATING BEDS IN POOL you have to pay extra money for those. The pool area does look nice though. There’s little games set outside to play which are free. Fooseball, connect 4, Jenga, ping pong table and more.

Very clean and nice atmosphere. Pool area and bar exceptional. Corridor area and basic rooms. No breakfast included in the price. In short I find a place too expensive in relation to quality price.

Staff is friendly, rooms need updating. Has pool, outdoor games, hammocks, right on the beach. Extremely close to shopping and food. Location is great in south beach. See pictures for more details.

I had a great experience at this hotel for an affordable price. Excellent staff, clean rooms and awesome cocktails by the pool.

The Marseilles hotel was very nice. The staff was great and the location/beach access can't be beat. My only complaint is that coffee makers with coffee pods aren't great for people who drink lots of coffee. If you are a very light sleeper you might be kept awake with street noise which wasn't the case for me but may be something to consider. Although I'd guess most South Beach hotels have audible street noise.

Hotel in very bad condition, dirty. The staff were very helpful. The maids do very badly the rooms, do not change the towels that have been left on the floor. The hotel restaurant discriminates against food allergy, does not believe in the condition of the child, disrespect and laughs. I don't recommend it!

I have to say I had a great experience at this hotel. We were looking for a hotel that was on the ocean side of Collins Ave near Lincoln Road, had a nice pool area and ocean facing rooms availible for our travel dates. Marseilles was a perfect fit. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and quickly check-in into our room. We were placed in an ocean-front room on the 5th floor and the view was gorgouse, especially at night when the pool area was lit up. The room itself was clean and modern, the walk in shower was pleasant and the window from the shower into the room was a nice touch. You could look right out to the ocean while taking a shower! The bed was comfortable, and the linens were clean. We left the privacy sign on the door so I cannot speak for the cleaning service, but I did see staff cleaning the rooms each day and they appeared to be thorough. We ordered food at the hotel on the first night and the quality was great, especially the ceviche. Also, all of the staff we dealt with were bilingual in both Spanish and English. This was nice as the girl I was traveling with was a native Spanish speaker. This hotel also offers 2 lawn chairs and an umbrella each day, happy hour with free drinks from 6-7pm, free Wi-Fi, and unlimited beach/pool towels. There is also a rooftop with amazing ocean and city views. The only negative I can point out was the strength of the air conditioning in our room was not very good.

Our first time visiting here was moderate… I slept very unwell because of the plastic windows and the really old air conditioner. It was so loud because the hotel is located on a bid road with lots of traffic und loud clubs. But it was clean and big enough for four people.

Nice bar area, and pool. In a convenient location everything was modern and gorgeous, polite staff I would visit again!

Awesome Experience!. They helped me plan a surprise. Robinson the evening manager was the best and helped decorate the room with roses! When I finally arrived I couldn't complain. The person loved the surprise. I definitely recommend the stay here specially because they have awesome staff. From front desk Gilma and Susanne by the bar!

The first room that we were put in was small and had mold in the closet and took a long time to open the door. It looked as if the door had been painted over 5 times you could see layers of paint that made the door get stuck. It had a tiny balcony that allowed you to look at another building and that's it. Plus the TV didn't work. We were moved to a second room a little bigger no mold but a few of the outlets didn't work and the ac took awhile to kick in but we lived with it. The rooms are bare as far as decor but if you don't care about that sort of thing it's fine. There could have been a desk lamp on the table so that you dont have to bother others with the one lamp next to the beds while sleeping. There could have been mirrors outside of the bathroom. When you have 4 ladies trying to do hair and make up mirrors are a necessity. And there is plenty of wall space to hang mirrors. There is one other mirror inside the closet that I had to prop open with the chair because the door wouldn't stay open so what's the point of hanging it in there. Would have been better to hang it on the outside of the door. If you don't plan on spending a lot of time in your room this place is fine. It's not great just fine.

The hotel is very good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities of the hotel (bars, pool beach, etc) are very good but the ventilation and air conditioning of the rooms is excessivemment noisy. We were forced to sleep with ear plugs. On the other hand totally inoperable in the bathroom so the towels do not between the evening shower and the morning showers.
Moreover it is daylight in the room as soon as the sun rises.
In short the hotel is great but pity that you sleep poorly despite very good beds.
It would be easy to make the stay at the Maxi top with a renovation of the climes (which the customer could cut) put curtains and fix the little things that need to be.

Absolutely amazing! Second time staying here and do not regret it one bit. It's economic, great location, and the staff is just amazing; the true meaning of first class customer service! Upon my arrival Mari, Gaby and Henry were amazing answering my questions, the room I got had amazing view! I went o visit the bar and Ashley the same bartender from last year same time was still there, they have to be doing something right to keep their employees! The best part she remembered me which makes anyone happy! As I was walking in to my hotel on my last night there I saw Mya same manager from the year before and she said my face looked familiar again awesome staff! Will always be my hotel of choice when in south beach! Also their amazing happy hour of $1 per drink from 6-7 I mean you can't beat that!

Guest for honeymoon. Dream Suite, organized structure with plenty of pool area and bar jam. Recommended!

An almost makeshift accommodation.

Not even a 3 star hotel. I think Hotwire reservations get the most crappy rooms. AC makes horrendous noise, plugs in bathroom dont work and the management is deaf to all this. Avoid if you can.

Great location and nice beach front property for the money. The pool area was nice and relaxing.

It was in the middle of all the attractions of South Beach. The hotel inside looked old and boring. The pictures I see on here now looks like they updated the hotel. They actually look wayyyy better than a few years ago.

The worse customer service ever! I had a hotel reservation for a family member, and they went and cancelled the reservation WITHOUT notice. All we got is an email saying the reservation has been cancelled. We called them within minutes and the only answer we got was: sorry, we are now completely booked. The "lady" over the phone was beyond rude and short with her answers. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND this property. If this is how they handle potential customers, I can only imagine how they handle actual customers!

The hotel was good and comfortable, but I had the bad experience that used me my credit card number. I stayed at the hotel 20 days ago, again I receive expenses of Publix, place that I never went. The hotel staff made their assortment with my card number. Very little seriousness of reception people are thieves. Very cumbersome all the paperwork that I had to do.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend it.
