Great hotel… great prices.

Seems like it is a great place to hang out if you like drugs and drunk people the parking lot looks like a night club and there are people standing outside making drug deals I came out of my room to see a drunk guy leaning against my 40, 000$ dollar Volkswagen I mean seriously and when I confronted him he got angry and wanted to fight.

The location was very accommodating and the rooms were clean and the room service was timely and polite. The people at the front desk were friendly. Good beds and good service. Worth the price. Tried other motels in Lake city and this is definitely the best.

The room was very clean and nice. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable. No noises from other rooms. Location was awesome and close to restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

It's a good place if your poor and visiting someone at Suwannee Correctional Institute.

Was a little hesitant at first but truly don't judge a book by its cover. First of all the owner (lady) was extremely nice and very helpful. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. If just need a quick place to stay I would definitely say Gateway Inn! Thank you again.

The water pressure in the shower was amazing, but only 5 or 6 streams came out of the chin-height shower head. The toilet from 1970 won't flush everything on the first try. The TV was from the same Era. The dual full size beds (not Queen) were barely tolerable. Doors were difficult to shut. The 1 star is for the water pressure and the mini fridge. Other than that, not worth it even though it was the cheapest hotel listed.

Spent 3 nights recently, due to hurricane Hermine. Accommodations were very comfortable and affordable… GREAT beds, QUIET atmosphere, very caring and courteous staff. Convenient to I-75 and many stores and restaurants. Five Stars in my humble opinion. Would gladly recommend staying at Gateway Inn to any and all.

Clean, best price, excellent amenities, nice staff. This was the best motel in lake city. Not over priced, and cleaner than the "big names". Great location to interstates and every restaurant and shopping lake city has to offer.

It was a disaster. The walls were stained… it smelled of cigarettes like some one smoked 30 packs in there. The only reason I gave it a 2 is due to the people I was visiting. Nothing more… trust me.

Needs an upgrade, beds were hard as hell and no shampoo or conditioners in the bathroom but the staff was nice and for a night of rest off the road it's worth what you'll pay for. We spent $60 with 2 dogs. A/C worked great!

Better than you'd expect for the price. Old but clean. Nothing fancy but what do you expect for less than $60 per night after taxes. We have stayed multiple times and it is fine for a couple nights.

Stayed in March, was only $55 and very clean. Exactly what we were looking for at the time. Mini fridge, microwave, tv. Everything worked, and no bad smells.

I stayed her July 2014. No breakfast, but very clean, quiet, refrig. Microwave and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Price I paid $51 with tax. Staff are friendly enough. Wi-Fi signal is strong and reads 65mps from my device. Microwave is present, no fridge. Shampoo not provided nor is in room coffee. Room is a little worn but clean and neat. Shower has plenty of hot water and adequate pressure (it actually sprays you, none of that light drizzle crap) verdict: run of the mill motel. I've had better for cheaper, I've had worse for more. Nothing wrong with this motel.
