We booked a King/1 bedroom suite and was only given a Queen/1 bedroom suite. Apparently, when you call to book a reservation those people are unaware that they do not have King/1 Bedroom Suites to offer. We are staying for 3 nights and the past 2 days they have not left enough towels for the amount of people that we have in our party, we had to ask them for the extra towels. The staff has been pleasant at night and during breakfast. Very friendly staff and they do try their best to accommodate you during your stay. They do not man the phones at the front desk at night though, so if you need anything then it's almost quicker to go to the desk than to call. They may answer the phone or they may not. The whirlpool is not in working order at this time. The breakfast food is just okay. Nothing to rave about. The room is very clean and it has a full kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher. Table is only big enough for 2 people. There are dishes, cups, wine glasses, pots and pans, silverware, stirring spoons, can openers, wine openers, strainer, mixing bowl, measuring cup and measure spoons. They also have a community grill down close to the pool area. The hotel is within close proximity to the JAX airport, however you do not hear the planes in the room. The hotel is about 55mins from Old Town St. Augustine, very nice area to visit.

I look forwarded to staying at any Residence Inn when ever I travel. Stayed at the Residence Inn in Jax and was a little disappointed that there was NO Hot Tub. Looked like they just cemented over the area. Overall the staff was nice and as always the breakfast was on point. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone.

The room we got was good; it was spacious, really comfortable and nice until we realized that there were roaches living in the kitchen area. We immediately left. We like Marriott and were honestly expecting more. The staff was nice though but the hallways smelled really bad and seemed to be dirty.

Did not stay in the hotel but I visited friends who did. The room was beautiful, clean, fresh and modern. Staff was friendly and well groomed. I would definitely try a night or two.

Overall nice. Could use some updating and sprucing up building wise. Staff was exceptional. Breakfast was ok.

Services are OK. Flying ants in the pool but it is hot… Can't really blame them. They charged $2000 to my card as an administrator error… And they had fleas on the carpet but got professional carpet cleaners out to sort that problem… House cleaning is efficient and friendly. Staff are all friendly.

This Residence Inn is very noisy inside. I believe the franchise owner and his family live on the top floor. His/her children use the hotel as their own playground during the day and late into the evening. They slam doors and run through the halls. We use pet friendly Residence Inns when we travel but I recommend avoiding this one.

Ok for an overnight. Hotel is worn and dated. FD staff was terrific and friendly.

Staff is very pleasant, free breakfast, the grounds are clean and the social hours are a plus.

Friendly staff, conveniently located about 2 miles from the airport with a shuttle service beginning at 4am (by request). Comfy beds with solid rooms.

Were visiting from the UK the staff are so friendly would definitely recommend staying here.

The staff is very professional but yet friendly they go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We have a boxer was about 60 pounds and was having a very difficult time finding a place that would allow her to stay. They welcomed her with smiles and a treat and the hotel itself was beautiful the rooms were spacious breakfast was nice and warm and delicious overall a wonderful stay!

Stayed here for several months after Hurricane Matthew tore a hole in the roof of the house. The installations are great, super clean and the staff was amazing. They allow pets, which is always good for us as we have cats and dogs. No, they rooms do not smell at all, their cleaning staff is really good. The small kitchen is always a big plus for long stays, it gets expensive to eat out daily for 4 months in a row. They also have a heated pool and a really nice large grill for guests. The parking lot is a bit small compared to the number of suits.

Definitely not worth the money! Very old hotel with high prices. Bed very old, not very clean and A/C doesn’t go below 74. Ridiculous MARRIOTT as always. High prices and could care less about these guests! Done with MARRIOTT brand!

The hotel over all is nice but there was a couple times ive seen one of the staff members cuming out of my room when my do not disturb sign was clearly up… I Honestly feel some of my liquor was drunk but I couldnt prove it… please watch your things while staying here and the staff as well…

They let us stay here during Irma with four dogs. They were above and beyond accommodating and helpful. The hotel is in great condition and was very clean. Everything seems brand new and having a kitchen with pots and pans was great. The breakfast buffet was excellent and they even kept it open past normal time to help other hurricane refugees. 10 out of 10.

This hotel is convenient and nice. The rooms are pleasant just not user friendly. The door to the bathroom opens to the shower which blocks access to getting in the shower. The shower heads are loose. Internet is slow and TV signals will go out for no reason. They are upgrading so I will have to review on my next trip. Rooms have no is charging ports.

To whom it my concern, We are the Hendrix family aslo people with disabilities and we are in need of the first floor rooms. Piror to leaving on June 3 17 we made a reservation and they couldnt find it once we got to the Residence Inn in Jacksonville Florida We are big people in size we need a king size bed. I always get the government rate as I am Federal police and have been staying at this residence inn for past Five yrs. I was told there were no government rates available. I was also told that I could have a room for 219. Was not gonna happen. After traveling from Washington dc. How can We make this right for me. Detective Sgt. John Hendrix Jr. US Department of Homeland security.

The room was very spacious and clean the beds sleep soooo comfortably and the staff is very professional and helpful. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the area.

Everyone that works here is extremely hospitable and nice. They expect what you may need even before you realize it it seems.

Comfortable. But it's 10:15pm and I've been up and about since 5:00am.
It's a nice 2 room suite with 2 TVs, but the one in the bedroom doesn't work.
I'm not calling them at this time of night to fix it.
But all I want to do is lie down and fall asleep with the news on.
Oh well…

The room had a terrible smell embedded in the carpet or air conditioner. The luggage carts were not available, and the staff said that a guest had them in their rooms and they're was nothing they could do. Please note I stayed there for a week and noticed that they did have two at one point, but the desk staff make no real effort to keep track of them. The area is known to be really bad, and we were accosted by sometime wanting a handout in the Residence Inn parking lot. I would never recommend that anyone stay here.

They are finishing up remodeling. The rooms are spacious and very beautiful. Outlets for your electronics are ample (even on the end table by the sofa). Kind and thoughtful staff.

Great place to stay for shopping or airport access. They were in the middle of renovations when we stayed but was still nice and quiet. All in all no problems.

Gave us a dirty room, moved to new room and it smelled faintly like smoke. Friendly staff, worked to correct any problems.

Staff is unbelievably nice and helpful. The room was clean, well maintained and up to date. I will definitely stay here again.

Very nice friendly people. Great breakfast and dinner. And O' yeah FREE BEER!
