The room was clean and fresh. There was a mini fridge but no microwave which cause me to spend more at their restaurant Skippers, as I could NEVER take leftovers. They have a tiny parking lot and I basically felt trapped there as when I left I would lose my parking spot and have to park a block and a half away from my room in a parking lot for the restaurant. The pool was nice and clean. Very spacious and plenty of seating. They provide towels. I would stay here again but I would get a room with a kitchen. There are activities you can buy right there in the marina fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving.

Pros: Really nice decor. Beautiful area in the back of the property, right on the water. Free bicycle, kayak rentals. Cool blue porch lights. Friendly, helpful staff. Cons: Office isn't open 24 hours. No microwave, at least in our room. Had to ask the man in the office to help us with the shower faucet because it did not work properly. A/C blows on your head while running.

Old but clean, reliable and very kind service. This hotel is a traditional old Florida Keys hotel with dated features and thin walls and doors. However, it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, happy with our stay. The best part was Mrs. Sharon at the front desk! She was incredibly kind, friendly and accommodating. Great customer service and a big part of why we would choose to stay here again. Continental breakfast was basic but convenient with outdoor seating. They also have a restaurant next door called Skippers that appeared to be popular and had live music in the evening. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice, spacious, pool towels are provided, and everyone looked like they were having a great time. Very convenient location if you are planning to go scuba diving out of Key Largo. I dove with Rainbow Reef Divers and I was able to walk to the boat in the morning. All in all, it met our needs and we would recommend it to others.

I love that you can use the holiday inn facilities next door because it's a sister property, but this location could use some attention. Dirty room when we arrived, bathroom and sink area in our room was not kept well, peeling molding and wall paint, etc. Check in after ten pm was at the Holiday Inn lobby, but other than being a five minute walk away it was efficient. Free breakfast is light but sufficient. Good overall stay but the property needs attention.

This is truly a 5 star property for the value, the people that work here, and what they offer. I have been to this resort 4 times in the last year. Sharon, Hannah, Daniel, Yohan at the front desk make you feel like VIP. We live in Boca Raton and if you have kids this place is incredible. They offer kids meals at the pool for FREE with an adult meal purchase. There is 4 pools you can use. The maintenance guy, John, always stops by to say hi to the kids… Makes sure all is well… But customer service starts at the front desk… And they are awesome. There is free breakfast in the morning which is a huge savings. As a family of 5, all of this is really important. This is not the Ritz Carlton, the rooms are clean, but the value is amazing. I have yet to find a better place in the upper keys as a Florida state resident. Bert gor, re/max boca raton.

The location of the hotel is great. The pool is OK. Breakfast is OK. Room was clean but badly in need of renovation (see photos).

The hotel was very nice at first. In the room the blinds were hooked but otherwise it was good. The night was unfortunately very bad. It was bad weather and the wind that hit the blinds robbed me and my wife the night. The next morning we said this maladministration at the reception. This, very very unfriendly, that was the most unfriendliest of our entire holiday (18 days ca 13 hotels), just asked if we would have reported that at night (always call at the reception in the future), we negated this. He only said that we were unlucky. We've never seen anything like that. Never again.

A good location and a quick check-in. Room a little small, but sufficient. Found it a bit dark. Parking spaces unfortunately not enough available, all quickly occupied. Pool was good and you had enough lying down. Bath towels were available for free in the lobby. Nice restaurant next door.

Room was absolutely disgusting. Mold around bathtub and floor. Walls and ceiling were dirty, stained, and cracked. Bathroom fan was falling down with clumps of dust and debris blowing out the sides. The floor around the portable refrigerator was moldy with black stain. Hair was present on the floor around the refrigerator and at every corner of the room. Under the bed was scary, a complete nightmare for someone who is hypoallergenic. The box spring was from 1994. I can’t imagine how old the mattress was. There are no blinds just window louvers, however the one side was broken so you can see in from outside. There’s a sticky mat that was used to cover the bathtub. Front desk closes at 10. You have to use the call box to speak with someone from a different hotel. Security showed up and showed us another room. Unfortunately this room had no working lights! We didn’t stay the night. We left. As we were leaving we noticed the elevator permit was 7 months expired. I called the next day to see what the outcome would be, I was told that a manager would call me back. 9 hours later I called again because I haven’t received a call back. I was told that there’s no manager on duty and they’re probably not going to call you back. Customer service horrible! We took pictures of the room but looks like there’s no place to post them on this review. This place is a dive! Do not stay!

The visit to the keys has left a lot to be desired. The hotel old but at least the facilities were not bad. Limited Parking and the restaurant next to the pool expensive and bad. Oh and the worst margarita I've ever tasted, it's like bad sangria with tequila.

We loved it here. Great location, beautiful suites and skippers next door is great. It's a perfect place to relax and the staff is very friendly. We stayed in a suite & loved the space along with the kitchenette. It was the perfect place for our first keys visit. We will definitely be back.

It's located at and excellent location of key largo marina. Awesome place to spend time or plan for activities. We had lovely time. Plan to chcek in before 10 pm else the reception gets closed and one has to collect keys from holiday inn. Breakfast is limited. We had a good time.

Great service, beautiful nature.

Overall, this was a nice place to stay at. The parking is not very good, so sometimes we had to park in the lot for the restaurant down the street. The rooms aren’t huge, but it really wasn’t a problem. The blind type windows were kind of hard to shut but we eventually closed them. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast, while limited, is enough to satisfy your hunger. They had bagels, pastries, oatmeal, muffins, cereal, coffee, hot cocoa, juice, and toppings like cream cheese, jam, and peanut butter. The location is great with anazibg restaurants nearby. The heated pool is clean and it has pool chairs and everything. I wish there were more tables to set stuff on maybe have a desk. Also, the floors in my room were tile, so it got a little chilly on the feet. The lobby also had a little gift shop where you could get souvenirs and personal care items. My stay at Marina Del Mar was one to remember and I would say it’s a pretty nice place to stay in Key Largo.

Delighted! The attention was very good. The place is beautiful I went to celebrate my birthday and pass it super well!

A convenient stop over Key West
We only spent one night in this hotel view pier. We appreciated the good value (for the average area), the convenience of the property (room, parking, pool, breakfast, etc. ) and the view over the pier from the room (particularly pleasant for boats adorned with Christmas lights). Great solution for an intermediate stop to the Keys, but with pub shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
What we liked the least was the breakfast, decidedly poor in variety and quality (but in the area it seems to be normal). In addition to this, the furniture of the room, although functional, was dated.

Very nice hotel. Clean with all necessary amenities and friendly staff. Associated with the holiday inn next door. Only issue was noise from nearby restaurant/bar.

My place Favomito for my vacation in the keys. I go three times a year. Nice view, nice atmosphere. Clean and cozy. I Recimiendo.

Make sure you get a room overlooking the canal where all the boats are docked. If you don't ask for this you will get a room facing the street with no View. The Bar Next Door was a bit loud at night time till about 11 but the music was good. The rooms we're kind of old but they seemed clean enough that one could not complain.

Good place to stay for dive vacations. Rooms are always clean, but not exactly "luxurious". Free breakfast is a little below average (But its free).

This place is clean and the staff have been great. It's a little run down but it is very clean, I can't complain about the conditions. The first day we didn't have hot water in the shower. We told the front desk at 6:00 pm on a Friday and they sent maitenance to our room immediately. The shower was fixed before we got back from dinner. That is better service than we've had at other, more expensive places. I would stay here again.

Good location, check in fast and friendly but room small dark absolutely outdated and totally refurbished, cupboard doors not movable. The worst room I've had for years! Luckily only 1 night!

Very nice location. Very helpful in the office/lobby! Room good. In front of the rooms but a bit dirty. The pool was still heated despite 32 degrees C outside temperature — totally insane. Everything else is good. Nice bars next door!

Correct room, lack of table and chair to take the little breakfast, forced to wait standing with his tray a free place. Swimming pool OK, view of Marina Direct. A well placed hotel.

I liked it very much, very quiet place, warm, perfect home.

Very good experience, stayed over labor day weekend, had a little mess up with the room I reserved over booking b turn out to be a bit small for a party of 5, but Sharon st the front desk was able to accommodate us into a studio at No additional charge. Their customer service was very pleasant. I would definitely come back here and bring a bigger group next time. Thank you Sharon you were you were great!

It was an okay place. Parking was a nightmare with my car being blocked in several times and not being able to move it. Another issue was all the smoking in front if the rooms. The hotel provided ashtrays everywhere which encouraged smoking. The views of the canal were nice and the nearby restaurants were nice as well. I will choose another location next time.

Home and rooms not up to par… But a nice pool and nice view!

This is a very nice resort. Friendly staff, rooms a clean an comfortable. Restaurant attached to the resort grounds. Service is excellent and the menu has something for everyone. Room decor is a little outdated, but if you want something ritzy this is not the place for you. This is Americana at its best!

Rooms are clean but sparse. The staff were not rude but certainly far from friendly. There is VERY little parking. It was pouring rain and we had to park in an "overflow" parking lot at a restaurant and walk about a block to get to our room. The breakfast has good variety for a continental breakfast and the location is right at the marina.

It's a decent place. Hotel and rooms need serious renovation. Super small bathroom. Pet fee a bit high when they have tile floor and it's not even clean to begin with. Things like dusting and cleaning of vents is over looked since years ago, even the rack where they put your clean towels are caked on with thick black dust. Breakfast is super limited and only tables outside in the heat. The hotel does have nice views of the marina. Beds were comfortable. Very limited parking spots.

Stayed one night prior to embarking on bareboat charter. Two double bed room was cool, clean, and comfortable. Fine location and accommodations for quick, overnight stay.

Nice hotel. Friendly staff! Large rooms with small fridge. Great for Scuba stays. If you want quiet rooms, probably don't want to stay on the marina side. Sometimes music is really loud. Didn't seem to bother me since I was Iditarod ready to crash by the end of the night.

The staff at the hotel is rude. We're experiencing issues where at a fairly empty pool, they scoffed and gave us an attitude when we asked if there were more lounge chairs, and the refrigerator at our room isn't working, and they said they'll give us bags of ice. We paid extra for a room with a fridge. This is our second time here having the same issues. Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, my family and I won't be back. This place sucks. The restaurant on the other hand is nice, and that staff is friendly.

I took my wife for Mother's Day dinner. The service was outstanding. The appetizer was brought to us quickly. The main course was delicious and brought to us right away. You will have a great time.

On Friday, March 18, arrived 7pm with most of our 70+ years old 16 member bicycle team. It was like herding cats and check in would have been a goat-rope except for Sharon at the front desk. She was courteous and professional even though a guest was less than understanding, Sharon saved the day. The connected restaurant served good food in an outdoor setting. Relaxed and enjoyed the meal and did not have to worry about driving. The Resort is kind of secluded and off the beaten track. Well worth the stop.

Great location and the room was very clean and spacious. Could use some updating but generally a great experience.

Simple and cheap sums the hotel up, great for one or two nights but no more. We used it to break up up the journey to Key West. Some nice restaurants and bars near by which are worth checking out — Mrs Mack's and the bar next door.

We stayed there on Christmas and it was way overpriced for a very simple 2 queen bed room. The room have a view of the marina and that's all. With the kitchen and ugly glass table. Not worth $235 per night. The breakfast was very basic and nowhere to sit down so we just have to take our breakfast in the room… Over all not worth it.

We didn't get to check-in until about a half hour after the advertised check-in time which was an inconvenience after a long drive. The hotel has a good location on the water but isn't very close (within walking distance) to anything else. Be aware that the hotel also sports a marina/boat dock and that people will be partying on their boats until very late.

Booked one night on line then called to add another, was told I was put into a studio suite so I booked another night in the same room upon arrival was told I was booked into 2 different rooms and a suite was not available. I explained what happened and after waiting they found a room that I could stay in for two nights. The room was very very outdated (which I expected) and not real clean, the surfaces were clean but dust and dirt were around corners of the floor. The room was a good size but the worse part is the "shared balcony" which is the walkway outside of the rooms where they put chairs in front of the sliding doors (which is your view of the water) and your neighbor sits there and makes noise right outside your room all day and night! This layout is the worst I've seen at any hotel, It ruins any chance of privacy when enjoying the view! The only thing that was good is the accessibility to the dive boats. Parking is horrendous, my husband had to wait downstairs in the car for someone to leave to find a spot.

OK place. Very busy weekends. Totally different during weekdays. Plenty to ser & do. Plus Central for All the Keys Can offer large rooms clean & resonable price for area.

The location of the hotel is good, it's also.
The room is very old and cleaned was very sloppy.
No way acceptable for the price.
