We had a situation with our original hotel and Alex was able to help us get a great room with a view. The hotel & staff were friendly and the bartenders were comical. We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is close to restaurants, shops and bars.

Sunset views second to none! Well appointed rooms, friendly staff, water sports onsite. Stayed on our way to Key West, and also on the return trip.

The place is beautiful, the good was good but u need more than 1 chef. It took forever to get our food.

We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be back. Our only complaint is that the food is way overpriced, takes forever to get and not good at all. 60$ for 2 very tiny pizzas and nachos that were gross.

Loved every minute of our stay. Beds were super comfy. Large bathroom. View from our balcony was amazing. Coffee on the balcony each morning waiting for the day to begin. Free gourmet breakfast each morning at their restaurant. Dinner was also delicious. Overall, this was one of the best few vacation days.

Loved the location. Staff great but need major overhaul to update. Tiles off pool. Outdated colors. We are platinum and the points for this place do not add up. The residence inn in Lauderdale on the inter coastal was a great property and worth ever point. Disappointed.

We had wonderful stay. The view from room was incredible. We also enjoyed beautiful pool, beach and breathing sunsets.

Highly recommended. Spacious suites with well equipped kitchens and comfortable living room areas as well as ample balcony space. Beach, pool and amenities are family friendly but also good for older guests. Definitely will stay again.

If you’re into motels that only I’ve seen in movies with drugs and prostitution, this is the place for you. Disgusting, dirty, and trashy. Stayed 11 hours (not by choice) and immediately checked out. If you want quality and a great experience go down the road to @playalargo you will not be disappointed.

MY HONEYMOON STAY Love this resort I truly do. August I was here for my honeymoon. The room view was great but had ants all over the place in the room. Also, we were promised drinks, etc and that didnt happen. Tv didn't work in the room and I made a complaint about these issues while I was there and the maintenance guy came and couldn't fix the problem and we were stuck with the problems sadly. Great place and I genuinely love this beautiful resort but I was saddened that they didn't keep there word and help with my room problems. It was my honeymoon and was hoping to see tlmy request was cared for but that didn't happen. This has been my second year in a row coming to this resort. Again, beautiful resort with a great layout. I'm sure they didn't mean for that to happen sonl don't a low my review to deter you from this resort.

The staff are super helpful and friendly, and the rooms are very clean. The hotel in general is very well kept. But the private on site beach has a lot of seaweed and does not compare to a regular beach. Also, breakfast and parking is paid separately, which I do not believe should be separate for the price of the stay. There is barely anything included with the price that you pay.

This place is amazing. During the day, or at night, the atmosphere is great. The hotel staff is very helpful. The cute from my vacant room was almost perfect. The only complaint is the water pressure in the shower was so low. Even after asking the front desk for help, it still was barely useful. Our showers took way too long. Still, you should come here, I will be coming again often!

Awesome location on the water. Nice little private beach area. You can book all kinds of activities and rent jet skis right there on the water. Parasailing was amazing. Everyone seemed nice. Cute gift shop, hammocks to relax in, walking distance to two decent places to eat/drink. Parking area was a little tight under the building, but we eventually found better spots. The big issue was the cleaning, it was no where near up to par for the Marriott name. Clean towels and wash rags wouldn’t be left even though the used ones were on the floor like they say to do. Stayed for 4 nights and they never left new water bottles. Seems as if they took out the trash, made the bed and left. Even when we first arrived, it didn’t smell fresh and clean at all, smelled like some sour bleach mop. Our room smelled terrible most of the time.

We had a great experience at this resort! We stayed in room 401, very spacious and a great view! Parking can be a bit challenging but don’t let that deter you from staying here. The front desk, restaurant and bar staff were super friendly and the service was good. Pool was a delightfully refreshing temperature unlike pools we visited at other resorts. The shape allowed you to have separate areas so the adults could kinda hang out by the bar and kids tended to play at the other end. The beach is very nice with plenty of loungers. While the water is mostly grass bottom, there are paths of sand that let you wonder out into the water to about waste deep and it is very clear. The floating decks are a nice touch. Really enjoyed the on site wave runners. The bay is a perfect size for playing while keeping a comfortable distance from everyone else. Finally, there isn’t a bad seat in the place for watching a spectacular key’s sunset! I highly recommend this resort for families and couples!

We had a terrific three-night stay. Had breakfast at Gus' Grille each morning and were VERY happy that they had gluten-free options. The GF bread was delicious. Our waiter, Greg, was very attentive and we were most grateful for the fantastic service. The entire grounds were very clean and well maintained. Our only complaint was that at the pool, another guest had his Bluetooth speaker blaring music OVER the Sirius station that was already playing on the resort's speaker system. Talk about obnoxious. That just shouldn't be allowed. We finally had to leave the pool altogether, which was highly upsetting to our special needs son, who only wanted to be at the pool. In spite of the self-proclaimed house DJ, we hope to visit this beautiful resort again.

Overall it was a great experience. When we called for room service we ordered 2 bowls of oatmeal and coffee and we were told it would take anywhere up to 30 minutes but it took 45 minutes and arrived just warm so my guess is that it was ready in time but no one was available to bring it up. A woman at the pool bar ordered food on a Thursday afternoon and thought she would get it in about 20 minutes but it arrived in about 45 minutes so be prepared for slower food service. They made great drinks at the pool bar that you can enjoy while waiting at least. The beds in 417 were really high so for a short person like my wife (5'3" with fake hips), she had to either pull herself up or get a running start to get in the bed haha. We noticed a step stool in the hall the next day and asked if we could have it which they smiled and said of course. The pool and beach area is very nice. It stays open till 11 which is a plus since a lot of places we stay have their pool shut down early. It had plenty of kids there but not so many that it would drive people crazy that visit without kids. If you get a room overlooking the bay and pool area you won't be disappointed with the view.

My best friends and I took a weekend girl trip to this resort and we had a fantastic time. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was very clean and decorated in a pretty beach theme. There were no issues what so ever. The on site restaurant was pleasant and the food was okay (granted I ordered a hamburger). The check in and check out process was easy and pleasant and room service was great! The staff were very friendly and the fact that that the pool area was open until 11 pm was a big hit for us. Parking was somewhat of a challenge in the lot, there was plenty of open spots available outside. The parking is not free, they do charge daily. But most resorts seem to be doing that these days. We will be visiting again, that's for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay this weekend, thanks to all the staff for making our time at the Bay side resort a pleasure. Check in was a breeze, thanks to Walter and JoAnn. Breakfast at the grill was good. Enjoyed the marina for easy access to my boat during our stay. The pool area should have wait staff, sat by the pool all day on Sunday and never had anyone offer me anything.

Great place. Ocean view. Nice accommodations and staff. Steve greeted us at the front door with homemade cookies and friendly banter. Nice staff employee of many years. Had a great night for first time in Key Largo.

A very cool place. We were here first half of May. Warm weather and nice atmosphere at the beach. Great beach bar. Free chairs and towels. Excellent swing bring your snorkeling gear. Although the resort doesn't have lots of places to eat the ones that are here are good and provide value for money. Goo parking below the build.

Extremely dirty carpet and rooms. I couldn’t believe the toilets had urine rings around it… gross and when I called the manager Greg threatened to call the cops on me in front of my two small kids. Needless to say Ive spent my mother’s day getaway calming my kids down explaining mommy isn’t going to jail. The resort is beautiful too bad the room is so outdated and disgusting. Not worth the money at all and the front desk is horrendous so good luck if you get the vomit infested and urine filled room we got.

Just stopped in at Gus' Grill for dinner. Outstanding. Staff is helpful and nice. Food is the best we had all week in the Keys, except Monday when we also ate at Gus'.

Property is great however question commitment to guests: wife called and Staff indicated 1-could not make a room switch from undesirable Bathroom-closet config (only low bar in closet and dresses on floor) 2 — didn’t know config of other rooms in hotel 3 — denied we were given obvious accessibility room because not on their list even though didn’t come see room 4-informed even that we were booked for Wed-Sun (4 nights) could not make room change over to other rooms because being held for Fri-Sat (2 nights). For such a nice property this Bath-Closet situation is deplorable.

Our family loves this resort. Have been here 5 times in past 3 years. It has everything you need: beautiful beach, pool, water sports, restaurant. Rooms are always clean and staff is very friendly and accommodating. Melissa and her team are the best. We will be back again.

Absolutely not in line with what anyone expects from a hotel in this chain. It is in the middle of nowhere and inside there is nothing… Pool too small and super crowded, fake beach with a few umbrellas, pool bar and just the bare minimum, ridiculous indoor restaurant… In short, but much to improve.

This was our first year staying at the Marriott. Our room was an amazing space for our family. Plenty of room with the living room area and kitchen. We all enjoyed the many spaces to hang out on the grounds. The pool/beach area is VERY well maintained. It is great that it closes and allows time to be cleaned and set up for the next day. The hammocks and "cage-seating" (as we called it) were very cool. Although it is evident that many people were staying there (spring break time), we always kind of felt that we had the place to ourselves when it came to sitting outside watching the sun rise or walking around at night. The spa was beautiful and we had amazing massage therapists. My only complaint was the number of times the bartenders charged us for the wrong things. It was quickly remedied but notable. Pay attention to your bill. The location is close to restaurants that we were able to walk to for dinner. Not only did those have great food, they had wonderful live music. We truly loved our time there and would come back without hesitation.

We are SPG Platinum for life members and sadly this resort was a bit of a disappointment. We were upgraded to a beach view room for which we were very thankful as had we been on the other side of the hotel the busy road would have been very noisy. First impressions were initially good as the outside of the property is well maintained but the rooms really did let the experience down. Whilst the beds were very comfortable the rest of the room is dated, smelled badly of mould and was in very poor repair. The floor grout in the bathroom was a grimy black and the bottom of the shower curtain had pink mould/bacteria up at least a foot from the bottom. Not the standard of cleaning I would expect from a cheap motel let alone a Marriott! One redeeming feature, we did enjoy the restaurant on the property which was expensive but not much more so than other adjacent restaurants. The food and service was excellent!

The rooms were clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was amazing, the sunsets were truly astonishing. Usually around 7 (little earlier or later) an employee comes around and lights the tiki torches which gives a nice vibe to the place. The location itself is close to a highway but you can not hear the cars if you're in the back of the resort. The pool and spa were relaxing and the beach was small but kept very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful!

The worst part of this vacation is having to go home. The service was TOP NOTCH! The restaurant manager at Guss’s Grill (Zach Williams) was on his game. I watched him work every area of the hotel to make sure every customer was satisfied with their food. The food there was FANTASTIC! No need to leave the resort. The drinks at the poolside bar was reasonably priced and really good. The staff in the hotel was the best my family and I experienced (& we vacation twice a year). There is absolutely no doubt in our minds… we will be back next year!

What an amazing vacation. The atmosphere was very chill and laid back. Food was good. The resort has a few good options, but choices were limited. Self parking made it easy to get in and out to explore the Keys. We did a lot of meals outside of the resort… lots of great local restaurants. Room was OK. Clean and acceptable, but could use some updating. The view was amazing (see picture). For these views, make sure you stay in the main building, to the left. If you stay in the right side of the resort you could be staring at the back of a restaurant. Poolside beach and bar were awesome. See the pics.

We stayed here for 5 nights in mid January. Great room with a beautiful view and wrap around balcony. The room was very clean and had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Very nice pool and hot tub. There were always plenty of loungers around the pool or on the beach. Happy hour at Breezers was a plus. It was too windy for diving or snorkeling so we spent a lot of time at the resort. Definitely would recommend it.

My family and I stayed here for 3 nights before Christmas and we loved it! We had breakfast each morning at the restaurant and we loved all of it! My brother enjoyed the mimosa's and I loved the fresh fruit selection and salmon. Also while at breakfast, you have a great view of the ocean! You can sit inside or out to enjoy and start your day. The beach was nice and had plenty of room to lay out in or out of the sun. My brother and I got some other visitors to join us in volleyball and had a great time! My nieces enjoyed the pool during the day and we tried out the hot tub later in the evenings. Our room had 2 bedrooms, one with a king and tons of room and another with with 2 queens. We had a kitchen with a tall bar top with nice bar stools and a small table and living room. Our balcony had 2 sitting areas with an amazing view of the resort's pool and the beautiful ocean. The sunsets here were breathtaking! Can't wait to visit again!

It's"Okay" is a good way to describe this place. When you are here, you're in Key Largo, and that's the best thing about the place. *Due to the hotel relying on renting out jetskis, swimming isn't allowed 50'' past the shore. *Plenty of great spots to watch the sunset. *Attracts plenty of friendly people, who were a blast to play volleyball with.

Just say NO! So disappointed in grounds, service and facility. At check-in we were upgraded to a suite, so we thought AWESOME! Then the fun started. No hot water, dirty floors, toilet didn't flush and water pressure was non-existent! The plumber was in tbe room more than we were. All this for just $320.00+ a night! The bedding was a bright spot as it was comfortable. Don't let the pictures on the web site fool you. Left early, and won't be back.

My son got married here last night on the beach. It was a wonderful ceremony at a gorgeous venue! The drinks and hors d'oeuvre following the ceremony were delicious. The dinner was amazing and the staff was attentive and friendly. Everyone commented on how elegant and beautiful everything was. We recommend this resort to anyone who is looking for an intimate and elegant wedding!

This resort has a really nice beach and pool area. The room and the view were gorgeous. Updated bathroom and comfortable bed. The bed was unusually high and I had to jump into it. Unfortunately there wasnt a luggage rack, which I thought was odd. This should already be included in the room.

I stayed at this Marriott location for a weekend. The bay views from the room were fantastic and the rooms were very clean and neat. It comes equipped with a safe, keurig, and mini fridge (though tricky to find). The pool was super nice and kept at a great temperature. It was nice having other amenities such as a restaurant, bar, and water rentals available on site. Would recommend!

Great clean place to stay and relax. Joeann saved our Honeymoon. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We will definitely stay there again! One of the nicest hotels in the area.

This was more like a motel with pool, bar, and restaurant. The rooms were outdated and furniture oversized. They didn't give the "resort" feel but more like I needed to check for bed bugs. The poolside bar was crowded and slow with only one bartender. The beach was like small rocket sand instead of the fluffy sand you would expect at a beach. Oh, and the beach is super small. The restaurant food was okay at best and overpriced. We paid for an ocean view and had to lean over the rail of our room to see it over the pool and trees. The best part was the rooftop of the restaurant with a beautiful view and bar and wedding food. The staff was nice and friendly.

Beautiful hotel with very clean rooms. Food and drinks at bar were reasonably priced and delicious. The lobby passed out free bottled water. The pool and beach were very clean. Only about an hour drive to the Miami airport ($120 lyft ride). Went for a 30 person wedding and the ceremony on the beach and the cocktail hour and reception on the 3rd floor of the restaurant in the resort were beautiful with very good food and cocktails with beautiful views of the water. Would definitely stay again. Would reccommend for small weddings.

Just stayed here for a weekend with my family and really enjoyed my time here but, I have only one major complaint, there was little ants scattered throughout our room. I killed 5-6 ants on the TV stand in my first 30 minutes in the hotel on our first day. That next day there was probably 10 ants I could see crawling around on our vanity before we took our things off. There was also some ants that wound come out of the lock on the front foot of the room. Like I said, I really enjoyed this hotel. The location was amazing and there was tons to do but rooms need to be cleaned and debugged.

Great rooms, beyond comfortable beds, beautiful grounds, nice pool, nice little beach and exceptional service though out. We were treated like royalty by everyone which made us feel very special yet we are average people looking for a much needed vacation. As for Gus’s Grille on the premises, everyone in that place is warm, friendly, and attentive making it right for all who step in. Best of all the food is great too. But I need to mention a few who went over the top with their services they were Christina the hotel concierge who helped in retrieving my wife’s lost wallet in Homestead with all her identification. And of course the fabulous Olivia who oversees Food and Beverage at Gus’s Grille for going that extra mile to make it all perfect. Thank you! We will never forget you.

Everybody here is very nice. The pool is great for kids, hot tub is nice and hot. Really nice place to bring the family. Kids can have a good time and so can you. 4 stars for the stay. I think we'd come back. Lacked a star cause the food could be better or at least priced for what you get. It's a resort and it will certainly please most everyone. We had a great time. The iguanas are cool… Go to monkey jungle for a day and check out some surrounding state parks. Eat off the resort and your trip will be awesome.

Pay this price for an old-fashioned room with a single small window overlooking the noisy highway and with 2 beds, just unacceptable! Very poor value for money compared to other hotels tested stay in the Keys.

Stayed here overnight to attend a friends wedding. Beautiful location, great pool with easy access to the water. Wish the lobby had free coffee, instead it's $2.50 from a machine in the lobby.

We just returned home from a great getaway at the this hotel. Just loved this hidden treasure so close to home yet you feel like thousands of miles away. The rooms tasteful done with very comfortable beds, beautiful pool and beach on the bay. Loved all the amenities, hammocks, tiki bar etc. More importantly every day we were treated like family by "KIM "at the pool area tiki bar, she was always so pleasant and very informant about things that our 7 year grandson would love to do in the area. You can tell a lot about a person just watching how they treat children not just ours and Kim is a definite asset to the Marriott family for so many reasons. Love this place, a paradise not too far from the main land. Two bars to choose from Breezer's up stairs and Flippers by the pool. The dive shop offers parasailing, jet skis, and fishing trips, and an awesome spa for total relaxation.

Very quiet, be sure book good hotel, overlooking the sea. The rooms were large and clean. Parking fee $15 per day. Unfortunately it is necessary at the check in $100 a day in advance pay. That is automatically deducted from your credit card. To get the money at the check out again. The breakfast is okay, but also very expensive. In the vicinity there are enough possibilities somewhat less expensive food go to. The beach was clean, but the concerns were that unfortunately not clean. We were there 7 days and have recovered us well. Children are also very welcome.

This a nice spot for sure. Been here multiple times. Service is great. There's a restaurant on the property but also a few others within a couple miles. The massage I got the first time I went was great. Very relaxing. Jet ski rental on property. Parasailing rental real close by.

Very nice outdoor area at night. Lots of activities like bags or corn hole depending on where your from. Ping pong, fire sculpture and more. Only downside is drinks are pretty pricey.

If you are looking for a relaxed, informal, atmosphere combined with typical Marriott good service, consider this resort. Rooms have good size balcony and pleasant views. Small fridge, queen beds and decent bathrooms. Parking is ample. Drinks at the Tiki bars are perfecto. We are having a great time!

Okley the bartender was welcoming and attentive. Grounds were very opulent, but okley was the reason we stayed around to drink.

My husband and I stayed here for our one-year wedding anniversary. Nice place. Ventilation in rooms is lacking so our allergies with mold were bad. Nice pool, although we were more interested in the beach. Liked having a restaurant on the grounds, although service wasn't the best. We ate breakfast there twice and when the servers found out we were splitting a meal, their discontent showed in their service. Easy check in and check out. No problems while we were there. Like having the jetski rentals on site, too.

This is our second time staying here and we love it. Both times the manager has given us free upgrades to canal-view rooms at check-in. This time, there was a huge party going in the room next-door. I think the hotel security was sent, but before that, they let us change rooms free of charge. That's great service!

We loved our stay at the Key Largo Bay Marriott Beach Resort. The staff is amazing! Joline and Luz at the front desk went out of there way to make our stay fantastic. The whole place is clean and well organized. Housekeeping eagerly met the needs of my son who has some respiratory issues. The beds are incredibly comfortable. I recommend paying a little extra and getting an ocean view room with a balcony. The view is breathtaking. The whole place is beautiful. The man made beach is small but very nice. I loved the hammocks and beach chairs. You can take a snorkeling or fishing excursion right from the property. The location of the hotel is great. Parasailing is within walking distance. Dolphins Plus is an easy 10 minute drive and an expensive but amazing experience. However, the resort is so nice that you won’t feel like you have to leave every day of your stay. The pool area is quite nice and warm towels are waiting for you when you finish your swim. I read many reviews before choosing to stay at this resort. The one thing that seemed consistent was that some people seemed dissatisfied with Gus’s Grill, which is the restaurant on the property. I think the big concern was the price. My comment about that is that yes, it is a bit pricey. However, I thought it was pretty typical for a resort restaurant. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and ate there almost everyday of our stay. It had everything you could imagine including an omelet station and fresh fruit.

Fantastic hotel! My family never goes back to the same place or hotel twice, but we might want to go back to this one! This place had all the amenities you could need and they have an incredibly relaxing sand beach area (man made, but honestly nicer than Miami Beach for my family because it wasn't such a long walk and an effort to go to). We could sit and relax with a drink in our hands in very relaxing beach chairs and watch a thunderstorm off in the distance. I very much recommend this hotel. They have shuffle board, a great pool, good workout room, very friendly hotel concierges, and a nice bar for alcoholic or nonalcoholic drinks.

Wonderful resort! Well kept and very clean. Excellent staff that is friendly and courteous. Restaurants as well as room service are fantastic. Very comfortable rooms.

Oh May Goodness. Our stay was like a 2nd Honey Moon. What a beautiful resort! The rooms and staff couldn't of been more pleasing. The restaurants were fantastic with a magnificent view everywhere. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Our only regrets were that we couldn't stay longer. I can't wait to go back.

Mediocre to poor Marriott. 9$ drinks and skip the lobster bisque. Unless you like all the yellow and grey bits. Food is sub par and accommodations are on the low end. Comfy bed with aging furnishes and turn carpets. Nice pool and grounds. Save 80$ and stay at a lesser known hotel. Spent weeks here on company dime. 4 stars are coming from the double wide vacationers. love the hammock.

Had a fantastic week there. Wish we could have stayed longer. Quiet and friendly just what we wanted.

I am so in love with this hotel! Have recently stayed twice with my partner, and it makes us feel right at home. Love the personnel, and "bay view" room. Beyond belief how cozy the rooms are, and how crazy in love we are with this hotel. By the way "Hobo's'" is a must go, for the best food. It's only a few blocks up the road. ;) Enjoy your stay.

The staff, rooms, pool and beach were wonderful. Everyone was helpful and friendly with suggestions and help. The dive shop personnel and trips were superb and the boatmen were a true asset. Special thanks to Danielle, Anna, Brian and Bob. You were wonderful. Our only two complaints were that the drinks were highly overpriced and extremely weak. A toddler could not get drunk off of one. And the iguanas were a little too aggressive for our tastes. When they attack to get your food, it tends to be a bit upsetting.

We went down to this hotel for a wedding over the weekend. The wedding was great but the staff and management at the hotel are clueless. I have never taken the time to put in a negative review anywhere but this one had to go up. When we got there we were told our room was not ready yet (it was about 2pm) and that they did not guarantee the room to be ready till after 3pm. We explained that we had the wedding at 4:30 and that we need to get ready. The girl at the front desk was very rude and did not care. My wife ended up having to go to her friends room to start getting ready and I decide to cool off by the tikki bar so problem solved. We get a call about an hour later stating our room is ready. Things were looking up! I got to the front desk and checked in. I walked up to the room with all the luggage and the key did not work. So I trekked back down and explained they situation. They apologized and made me another key. This key did not work either. Trying to keep calm I went back laughing and said try again. They apologized and said they gave me the wrong room and sent me up to another one. I told myself this has to work and again carrying my luggage with me. Surprise the key did not work! Now I was upset! I got down there and spoke to the manager Sam. The employee that gave me the wrong key multiple times was now hiding. Sam said he was on my side and he understood what was going on. Sam then made me a key and apologized.
