Awesome place everything was really clean. Staff was really nice each and everyone made us feel at home. We had a late arrival and still had good service. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to come back next time.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Bayside Inn. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The complimentary kayaks, paddle boards, and Starbucks Coffee were definitely a plus. The staff were wonderful. Rachelle was one of the hardest workers I have ever seen. She kept outside area spectacular. :)

Tried to get fresh towels. Couldn’t! Most hotels have staff that will knock on your door to see if you need towels or your bedding done… not here! Was told we would have to wait a day for service! Over $400.00 a day here! Our first night we had to switch rooms after loading everything in only to find out that the toilet didn’t flush, just one of the fun experiences here. Will not stay here again.

We were there a week ago and had our wedding on the beach. Had the most awesome time. The service we recieced were above and beyond. They were there and took care of every need we had. We stayed in the suite and it. Was clean and perfect. Roomy enough to host all of our guests in the evenings. The amenities offered kept us busy all afternoon in the sun. I would recommend this resort to everyone! Thank you for the great experience. We will be back in 5 years for our anniversary!

What a hidden beauty! Recently stayed here and will definitely be back and recommend this place to family & friends! Staff was superlative! Rooms spotless! Beach and dock area clean, well maintained and beautiful! The view is like paradise!

Wow. Beautiful hidden gem in Key Largo! The inn was a peaceful escape. Price was affordable. Rooms were clean. Lots to do on site with bikes, kayaks, paddle boards, pool, lagoon, ping pong, etc. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back ☀️🌺

Rebecca and Kat are extremely unprofessional. I checked in on 8/31 and paid my bill of $657.66. Today I looked at my checking account and they had charged me again, nearly another $600. When I called to get things straightened out, Kat told me she only saw the initial charge and then said "Yeah, I don't know what to tell you". I had to call my bank and deal with that for an hour while on my last day of vacation because they are both incompetent. Do not stay here unless you want your money stolen and to be treated as a second class citizen. The view from the peasant rooms in the motel sucks too. I hope in the future the owners/managers don't hire idiots to run the place.

The ladies at the desk were super nice and helpful. There were a few housekeeping issues but they were prompt in getting them corrected. Beautiful place for watching sunset right by our pool and pier. And it is located next door to a great restaurant Snook’s.

We stayed here in April and enjoyed ourselves immensely. It's a quaint setting with very clean and comfortable rooms. Only snafu was our reservations. We booked through a third party vendor. Bayside Inn didn't have our reservations upon our arrival. Apparently this is a common problem with third party bookings. I'd be sure to call the hotel to check your reservations when booking through a third party. Kat at the front desk was extremely accommodating and helpful. She was able to get us 2 nights out of the original 3 we had reserved initially. Highly recommend this hotel for it's location, service and setting. Thank you Bayside!

Excellent value for the money, rooms are newly renovated 2 years ago and clean. Tons of amenities and Nooks restaurant that is right next door has amazing food. Don't forget to take a cruise on the Tiki Hut boat!

I don’t think words can describe how wonderful this place was to stay. But I’ll try. For starters we had hotel reservations for a month at another resort but on our flight down they for canceled. (That’s another story) but we lucked up and found this gem. We ended up having to rent 2 rooms, not a huge deal we had 8 people. One in the “main” part of the hotel (2 queen beds, mini fridge and a microwave) and one of the suites facing the water (one king bed in a bedroom, living room with a pull out sofa, nice sized fridge, stove, microwave, dinning room table, and a balcony with seating). The hotel staff was A+. Everyone we talked to was amazing! The guys who take care of the waterfront and pool area are absolutely the best! They didn’t make us feel like they was rushed to get back to work if we had questions about anything! We was treated as family! And that means a lot! The hotel provides kayaks and paddle boards for the guest to use. They have games to play outdoors, a heated pool, they even have fishing poles to use! I am positive I am leaving out something… but just so you don’t think I’m trying to “sell” you on this hotel the only negatives I can see is the stairs to the suite. There is no elevator to this part of the hotel. And after a long day of enjoying everything they have to offer those stairs are a beast! But at the end of the day (or rather end of the vacation totally worth it).

Gorgeous location on the bay! Rooms were clean and comfortable — pool was available as well as kayaks and lawn games — right next door to Snook’s bayside dining.

Great place! everything you need is right there. And also as a dog owner, I know how hard it is to find pet freindly places. But you can have your dog on the beach, at the bar, and at the restaurant. Very nice and I will be back.

We loved it here! The room was beautiful and pet friendly, the pool and beach area was nice, they had kayaks and a couple paddle boards we could take out, fun beach games, a bar and restaurant right on property. We couldn't have been happier. Oh, and a Thai and Sushi place right there too! Everyone was so nice and friendly!

Wonderful, renovated place with great service! Convenient for love birds but also for families with babies! Great location and walking distance to Starbucks, Burger King, Dominos, Walgreens… Special thanks to Travis who makes sure that you have everything what you need! ❤️

Unprofessional front desk staff… cant ever find solutions to problems or complaints. Always running out of towels, coffee, continental breakfast is terrible they served 2 day old Walmart donuts.

It’s a quiet hotel with a great location. Great tiki bar basically on the beach, and a great little private beach area (not much for swimming, but that’s hard to come by here). If you’re looking for a nice quiet get-away, it’s a great spot.

Our entire stay was horrible,. We were moved around 3 rooms in 2 days,. There was no water pressure,. Most of the rooms were unfinished,. The door sills were missing, peeling paint,. The shower trim was talking off,. We are promised a 20-30% discount and we're only given a $25.00 credit… that's far from 25%, on $770 bill. It ruined our vacation,. Save yourself and don't do it. Even to this day, "management" will Not call back.

NEVER EVER do I request refunds, but this place… I had to! Clerk upon arrival was rude and dismissive. Came back later to check in and OMG! So, it’s New Years weekend, rates are outrageous everywhere but this is no better than a Motel 6 and we paid 300+ for a room. There was left over food in our fridge, dirt and “Stuff” on our shower curtain, no phone service and no TV service (well 1 channel). We were thankful that the gen mgr was understanding and we were refunded a portion of the fee. Thank you. No, we will never return to this facility.

Room 108 has black mold above the window, and no hot water. The staff does clean the room, if you want to call it that. There were mosquitoes in the room to the point it was unbearable. I covered myself in bug spray before bed but it didn't seem to work. It was way over priced for a complete dump. I'm not one to complain much, but I told the office about the room. They told me they would get back to me, but never did. They closed the office and left for the night. I had a great time in the keys so the room didn't ruin it for me. I just dreaded going in at night. Great town, but I strongly advise looking at another property before booking this place. Oh and it's priced like a Marriott, but it's worse that a truck stop motel. You don't get what you pay for with this property.

We stayed here from July 26 — July 30. Our family had three different rooms. The Good: The few staff we interacted with were friendly. We had clean towels and sheets. The view off the dock over the bay was nice. The mini fridge worked. Did not find any bugs in the rooms. Right next to Snook's. The Not So Good: The room my husband and I stayed in the door had some gaps between the door itself and the frame. The AC unit was falling off the wall. My mother-in-law's room did not have warm/hot water in the shower. Her towels did not get replaced one day. None of the rooms were necessarily "clean" aka the bottoms of our feet turned black if we walked around without shoes on. There are also no safes in the rooms (not a make or break but there were some things we wanted to leave in the room and not take out on the dive boats with us that we would have liked to put in a room safe). If you lose a key they charge $25 because the keys look like some sort of old school punch card you put in a mainframe computer and you only have a few hours after check out to find any lost keys before they charge you. There is very little parking and a few nights we came back there weren't open spots in the parking lot. Some of the others in the group we were apart of claimed they had mold in their rooms (I didn't see any in ours, just dirt). The beds are hard and not very comfortable. The rooms always felt slightly damp.

This hotel is exactly what you see is what you get. Its affordable and the rooms are simple but have everything you need, also the a/c unit works wonders. The room was clean and the hotel service was very polite. The beach access was awesome a gorgeous view plenty of space to get some sun and a great bar and restaurant right on the beach! We will definitely recommend this inn! Also there was a cute friendly little black cat who always greeted us outside by the lobby she was so friendly and adorable all and all I really enjoyed my stay here!

July 2018 Front desk staff was very friendly. We got a good rate and previously stayed here a few years ago. This time was disappointing. Breakfast was better before (we wanted something for the kids). This time were only coffee, tea and packaged pastries like moon pies, granola bars, pop tarts etc. From 9am. Has a nice grilling area with small beach and you can enjoy the live music from Snooks. Pool very small and pool bathroom often lacked toilet paper. Quite a bit of tra…sh in parking lot and in bushes. Place needs maintenance: ice machine had black (mold? ) around front of it. Same with workout room door frame. Lived several years in Florida, I know it's humid but that's unacceptable. Room 116 shower rod was barely in wall. Room had mosquitoes in it. Check your closet before bedtime for mosquitos. Wifi weak! In room was hardly a connection. Housekeepers were always polite and one even told me that reception had pool towels. Twice I saw a toilet brush on the ground. Once it looked wet and once it was used to prop door open. Only housekeeping had toilet brushes, the room did not. This was not a good look!

A clean room, suitable for what we needed. It could use some updating, but the room and bed was clean and the hotel staff were very friendly. Know that the breakfast pastries offered are simply things like packaged pop tarts, honey buns, or breakfast bars. Not a big deal for us as we ate out, but good to know if you were planning on having breakfast there. Also, pool was nice but rather small. The swimming lagoon was not really a true beach. It sat between two fishing piers, which didn't make swimming in the lagoon appealing at all. But as we were more interested in exploring the keys, we basically needed a clean room to stay in at night when we returned. So this worked for us.

A traditional motel. Great location for sunsets. Very basic rooms. There is a new Sushi-Thai restaurant in site which is really really good. New ownership has cleaned up the place. The other restaurant on site is way overpriced, the food is so-so for what you pay (you are paying for the sunset). However it has a great bar and is on the water.

Bed Bugs, Blood & Band Aids! I normally wouldn't write a bad review, but I want to warn others as we would have never stayed if there were accurate reviews. We paid $167 per night during Memorial weekend. Our room was so bad that I paid an extra $40 per night to upgrade (to room #101). The staff was actually pleasant and I don't feel that the conditions of the hotel are their fault, but rather the owner not funding it properly. There was a spot of blood on the sheets and the curtains were held in place with band aids… and the final deal breaker BED BUGS! I could go on, but digress. This place is condemned and needs to be completely torn down.

This place is the worst place I've have ever stayed. Cable did not work, pool dirty and 4ft deep, manager from hell, fighting, employees calling 911 on each other, continental breakfast is literally debbie snacks.

Great view, restaurants, and the hotel is literally on the beach! Friendly and accommodating staff! The rooms are a bit dated but the rooms are big and spacious. Everything you need is right here! Also, they are near a few restaurants and a few other stores you may need to get toiletries from! Stay at the Bayside Inn!

The location is great and access to the beach is also nice. The rooms are large and the beds were comfortable, but the rooms could use an update. One of my least favorite parts were the tile floors, they were wet almost the entire time due to the humidity. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Do not stay here! Our bathtub in our room had a hole in it and water was seeping into the wall which made mold and the tiles were falling off. Water ran thru wall outside to walkway. Made it slippery and I slipped in it and twisted my back. Let staff know of issue and also that beds weren’t made in the morning and no towels left in room for us. We called to follow up a few days after we left and housekeeper was mad because we told on her so she tried to say we smoked in the room and charge our card 300 dollars! Manager suppose to call back. It took me 45 days to get her on the phone, only to have her say there was no issues with the tub and wouldn’t reimburse us even for one day, changing her story from when I first spoke with her right after we left. I have pictures of it all and have been trying to contact owner, with no luck so far. If you don’t want your vacation ruined, do not stay here! We do a lot of traveling and this was by far the worst customer service and the least professionalism I have ever experienced!

The decor is dated… Paint chipping on walls, etc… Could definitely use an update. Never ran into an issue with cleanliness. The restaurant next door was great… Beautiful sunset views. Front desk staff was friendly… But the day we wanted to check out, the girl that was supposed to open the lobby was late. Showed up with coffee and fast food bag in hand at 9:15. Several people were waiting outside the door for her to arrive. "Breakfast" was supposed to be available from 9-11am, so she likely should have been in well before 9 to get it set up.

This place was amazing! Only came for one night of my spring break but I wish I could of stayed longer. The views were absolutely stunning. This is my first time in Key Largo and will definitely not be my last! Also the sunsets here are never like you’ve seen before.

Don't stay hereWe booked at the Bayside Inn weeks in advance for our
Spring vacation. We did not expect luxury, but the Inn, which advertises "Our sophisticated resort in Key Largo a Key Largo hotel, along with its 56 elegantly appointed rooms and suites, offers the finest in modern comforts for its well-traveled guests" looked like just the quaint, Old Florida feel we were looking for. The room was unbelievably disgusting, it stank, the grimy window had metal shutters on th…e outside and we were told it didn't open (although the top window slammed down, scaring the heck out of us). The "balcony" was actually the outside walkway to rooms, where guests stood smoking. It was Spring Break after Irma, with more than 50% of hotels closed from Irma damage, so we could not find any other accommodations. But clearly could not stay in this filth, where we were afraid to bathe and sleep. There was no room service. As in, nobody came to clean up the room, make bed… The towels (2) were sandpaper. No bath mat, so the towels went on the bathroom floor, which was black with dirt. The sink area was disgusting. Husband said paper wouldn't flush in the toilet, so he surely was afraid to use the toilet. We complained after first day, and on morning of second day when we realized we couldn't go the whole vacation without bathing or using the bathroom, we ended up driving back home in the dark, vacation ruined.

For the price I got it was a decent place to stay. The room was clean, bed clean, and bathroom was clean. The Wi-Fi was terrible, but in this day and age who doesn’t have a data plan and who would be on their phone that much on vacation. The workers were nice and the location was great. If you are looking for an alright place to stay, this is it. Don’t come expecting the Hilton because you are not going to get that. It is what it is.

Cute little motel in the heart of Key Largo. The scenic views are so incredibly beautiful. It is a wonderful place to relax and unwind under beautiful swaying palms. Watch the sun go down from one of the hammocks. The landscape is lush and tropical. You definately know you are living the island life when you stay here.

This place is nothing like the website. If you notice they only have 1 picture of the rooms. There is a reason for that. The bed sank to the floor with no return. There where all kinds of undesirables wondering around in the parking lot. We come to find out these are weekly tenants. Like a crack hotel. I didn’t even want to leave a locked vehicle in the lot. The rooms have a tiny rear window, no majestic view as claimed. We where in the room for 10 minuets and we left for another hotel. The Courtyard by Marriott. I recommend you try there first.

Hotel in the economic part of the area. The reception closes very early. At that point if you didn't book… I don't think we can stop after 20. The Wi-Fi was not working and there was no one to ask at that point. Basic bathroom. The rooms are a bit old fashioned but clean. Ours looked out over the courtyard but the Hotel faces directly to the sea. Great location near the reception the Japanese restaurant… Fresh food delicious and plentiful, decent choice of beers and personal profession and sympathetic.

Bayside Inn is on the cheaper side for this area so you have to know that you won't be walking into a five star hotel. With that said, me giving two stars has nothing to do with the over condition of the place. It has to do with the service and specific conditions. The issues started at arrival with the front desk. We were early and assumed the room wasn't going to be ready but there is a professional way to welcome people and give them a sense that their team will get them in as soon as possible. That didn't happen. Little things matter. Like when my wife and I want a cup of coffee that next morning and there is only one cup and no sugar or creamers. The next day they never did housekeeping. As for the condition of the room, the bathroom light didn't work correctly and fan didn't work at all. Basic maintenance goes a long way. Views from the back of the property are great.

Bayside Inn in Key Largo gets 2 stars from us. One star for the friendliness of the people in the office and another for the wonderful view and sunset from the suite. Unfortunately there not so good with cleanliness. We stayed 5 nights and they didn't change the bedding once. Their idea of room service was to change out the towels. No sweeping, no floor cleaning, no surfaces wiped down, no trash removal, no kitchen dish towels, no new soap in the bath and no tidying up what so ever. There was little TP in the bathroom, bought our own soaps, took the trash out daily and cleaned the floors with the bath towels. When I spoke with management there were only excuses. The pool was nice and clean, Just no TP in the bathrooms, THERE IS NO BEACH! Sadly the beach has had no effort in attempting to keep it up so you won't even walk in the water. We did what we had to and made the best of our stay and enjoyed the views. Don't expect more!

This place was unbelievable. We checked in on November 18, 2017. The room had such an overpowering smell which we found out later the cause but we were forced to stay in the room because they were sold out due to the race (otherwise we would have left completely). I wrote the manager and she came back with out right lies, fortunately we have everything documented as well as witnesses. Now from the oil based deodorant I am still coughing and feeling sick. I am contacting a lawyer and keeping track of the medical bills that are occurring. We were eventually moved to another room which did not smell. It's now been a couple of weeks and the manager still won't give me the supervisors contact information.

Malisimo lose their reputation by 50 dollars. I do not go anymore to that place very bad opinion me and I take them from that place I give them a star because I do not have the option of Dale 0 star already lost but I are not professional.

Great location and views! Rooms are a bit dated and can have some interesting guests, but that’s to be expected at an affordable hotel in this locale. Overall, great location (across the street from Divers Direct and BofA and close to our dive shop) with some pretty epic sunset views. They have a pool and nice restaurant right next door. Room came with a decent sized refrigerator and microwave. Others people in our party had a full kitchen in their room.

Nice. Still getting used to the American way, your room doors leads striaght outside. Why is the lobby never in the same building? Why is your room always on the outside? Gives no sense of security of being in a hotel with hallways to your room. Why is the A-C always on the setting "ice-cold"? The beds were clean and towels too. Where's the TV remote? Why is there only one channel? Overall I slept well. Comfy bed, a bit on the small side as a double bed. Where's that beeping sound coming from? Drove me crazy! Unplugged everything but something kept on beeping? Was it even in our room, I wonder? Great view of the ocean! Bar and resto just next door! I liked my stay in general. Take away that beeping sound and I'd have been satisfied.

This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. It started with the reservation, when we knew we would be able to make it after my husbands back surgery. Grant it this was about a month after Irma so I was not expecting them to be 100%. Once I had the reservation I had to call and email several time to confirm we had the room at the wedding rate. We got that squared away. On the day of check in we got there at 3:30 with check in is at 3:00. We waited 1.5 hours and went back to see if the room was ready and our room still was not ready. We had driven 5.5 hours and I was concerned about my husbands back so I asked if they could change the room they said yes and that it was the handicap room which was perfect for him and his back. So we check in and the bathroom floor had a very slippery substance on it (the black cotton balls and you can see the sheen in the floor) so we went to the office to see if they could have someone clean it, keep in mind this is a handicap room. Mean while I unpacked and started our weekend wedding fun, so I thought. We waited about 45 min and the a lady shows up and said she was going to move us out of the room to clean it and I said we did not want to move we just want the floor cleaned in the bathroom so that my husband did not have any issues getting in and out of the tub. She said no we had to move and I asked her why and she finally came clean and said that our room was "earmarked for a handicap person and clearly we were not handicap".

Simple but clean rooms. Fridge, coffee maker, microwave. TV is fine. Outside area could be a little more attended to but having the little pier to enjoy the bay was very nice.

This hotel was perfect for what we needed for our stay in the Keys. We are a family of 4 that went for a 4 day weekend for diving. I was a bit weary after reading the reviews, but it was nice. Our room was very clean. Maid service was great. The staff was eh, some were pleasant, some were not. We only interacted with them during breakfast really. The free breakfast was pretty lame. But hey, it's free. Not much more than toast and coffee. They have some other stuff, but it's always gone and staff doesn't bother to refill quickly. The pool is really nice. Small, but it was never crowded. There isn't really a beach. More like a beach area with sand and chairs to watch sunset. Nothing you would consider swimming in. That's pretty standard for the Keys too. Parking does get filled up. Be sure to try to book at a time that the hotel doesn't have a wedding booked is what I was told. We did this and always found a spot. I would have given this a higher rating, however these are the worst beds I've ever slept in. The mattress's almost felt like they were straw filled and lumpy. Pillows were great. My husband & I switched beds with our kids and the second bed was just as bad. I would stay again though! We paid only $251 through hotwire for 3 nights at the peak of lobster season!. Perfect for the price!

Location: Excellent. Amenities, Rooms, Staff: Par to sub-par. If you are planning on spending your entire vacation inside a hotel then avoid this one. If you're using it as a place to sleep and store your stuff while out doing things then it's just fine. The Wi-Fi sucks, we ended up tethering our phones to get the laptops working at night. The on-site Sushi place is GREAT. The "beach" is a joke. Didn't bother with the pool (s? never saw the advertised indoor pool but to be fair, didn't go looking for it. ) Some of the staff were super friendly and others seemed ambivalent to annoyed. We are late night folk so never managed to make it over in time for the free breakfast.

I had the pleasure of being a guest at Bayside Inn in Key Largo for about a week and immensely enjoyed my stay. The view from my room i. E. One of the villas in the back was breathtaking. The staff starting with Lori who against my initial decision to change places to stay did an amazing in describing how beautiful the room was while insuring me if I could endure the steps the room would be worth any discomfort of climbing the stairs due to an ankle injury was totally accurate. Each time I called prior to arrival I was met with professionalism and courtesy beyond measure. That was no surprise when I me the exceptional manager Iola (pray I am spelling name correctly), she was delighted when I was telling her about the raving recommendations that Lori had given the hotel and she made sure it lived up to everything that had been described. Whenever I had an issue (which were few to none) she rose to the occasion to ensure that everything was running smoothly. The maids did an excellent job daily cleaning the room and ensured that we were always overstocked with everything we needed. This was the best stay that I have had at any hotel in a very long time and if I could give a greater rating than 5 I would. The maintenance guy Robert was always available and always professional and willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our stay was comfortable.

It was okey. Room was clean, but needed some paint job. Breakfast was very simple, coffee, juice, cereal, milk, bagels, pastry. Beach is small, but sandy. Across the road from dive shop, Walgreens, CVS, Subway, Burger King.

Stay has been great so far. My biggest gripe would have to be the parking. Lots of people go to the "beach" area and take up the guest parking. The rooms are pretty basic but they include a fridge which I liked. Service was good and even asked if I needed anything when they saw I was in the room during cleaning. Nice place, I would come back even if I had to park a little far from the room.

What a great experience! A+! We were able to enjoy the pool next to the ocean until time wanted. All the privacy you can have! The best time in a long time! Highly recommend Bayside Inn Key Largo!

The staff is polite, the room smelled great and was beautiful, the pool was gorgeous, and best of all — the location. Right next to a restaurant/bar (where you get 10% off) where we got the best Key Lime pie EVER, and man do they mix a mean margarita. We went for the scuba, and our 3 shops were all within a mile from this hotel. We walked everywhere. I'll be back for sure. It's not a luxury hotel, but I didn't go to the Keys for that. I went to chill.

Place was a dump. Very dirty, very musty and very rusty. I left the place with the heebie-jeebies. Did not sleep very well, I was by myself and the door to the room did not close all the way. I do not recommend this place, it wasn't even that cheap. Paid way more than what it was worth. Trying to contact the front desk is nearly impossible and you sit on hold for several minutes at a time.

Bayside Inn is a moderately priced motel and you get what you pay for. Cons: The room was very outdated and very dirty, especially the walls and doors. "Breakfast" consists of coffee, cold cereal and a single toaster where guests can make toast or toast bagels. The Wifi is pretty weak. Pros: Decently priced, swimming pool, waterfront. All in all, not a bad place if you're just looking for a place to crash after partying all night, but if you're looking for anything more, you might want to look elsewhere.

As far as I'm concerned they don't have a beach — they have a place on the waterfront with a bit of a sand over concrete. You can't really sunbath there and you definitely can't swim there. However the sunset that you can see from there is absolutely gorgeous. I've found the room well-kept and reasonably clean.

Great motel for the keys. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. The beach was small, but the view fantastic. I enjoyed the hammock strung between the to plan trees. There is bagles with cream cheese for breakfast, also have oatmeal, and some other other standard morning eats available. Tiki bar next door and A sushi restaurant in front. Will return.

The hotel is in a nice area but it's very dirty… there's no private beach like they said, I can't even explain what It was. The office looks very old and they also serve you breakfast there which I didn't even bother to go as soon as I found out… when I check out next morning there was another customer complaining that the housekeeper robbed his cellphones chargers even though he requested no housekeeping in the morning… I am not coming back… don't come here!

It's not a fancy 5-star resort by any means. However its inexpensive (for the area) and I found it adequately clean. During my 3-night stay, the rooms were cleaned daily. I was there for a regatta at the upper keys sailing club, I would do it again. PS, it does have a beach which I found to be very nice.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at hotel and I travel a lot. Not only old and outdated but disgusting. I have NEVER gone to a hotel and not seen the toilet cleaned. I called the front desk and was told I had 2 options could cancel or move to a suite. Well obviously the maids don't clean the rooms so a suite wouldn't make it any better I choose to cancel. Went to front desk and talked to the girl again and she gave me the orbiz phone number and told me to have them call her Now they are backing out and won't refund us and to top it all of the manager was a snot about it and laughed at me. Nasty nasty place.

Management definitely needs the element of professionalism that promotes success. The property has great potential and seems to once have been comparable to paradise. It is definitely evident that the apathetic demeanor of management, has polluted the work ethic of the entire staff, creating a substandard "ghetto like" environment that exacerbates the depreciation the property's former glory. Most of the rooms are pervaded with a hibuncious, pungent odor that denotes uncleaness and the inherent presence of mold. This establishment is an over priced eyesore of the keys, as depravated by lack management in terms of cleanliness, proper decision making ability, misappropriation of finances and inabilityto properly delegate.

Beware! We booked several rooms with our dive group. During our three night stay we had no housekeeping clean our rooms and several rooms had faulty doors that had been kicked in by previous tenets. Upon check out of our prepaid rooms, the desk staff stated I had to pay for all the rooms again! Very sneaky, dishonest and frankly, lazy people here. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Avoid this run-down tourist trap and spend a few extra dollars elsewhere.

This is a great location with a great potential… BUT UNFORTUNATELY staff is terrible… Worst costumer service I had ever experience… Rooms need some care and up grade… But for sure this people needs some urgent staff training! Avoid going to this place…

Location was great. The rooms were fine. The service was ok. It is not a Holiday Inn by any means but ok for the two nights were there.

Great sunset at the beach. Breakfast was OK. Have disturbed only the many mosquitoes and the slightly musty room. But would definitely again come.

This place was disgusting, filthy dirty, the walls and doors had the paint chipped off them and black dirt all over them, none of the closet mirrors had been cleaned in weeks to months, which didn't open away because they were broke, the small kitchen table was dirty along with the microwave, refrigerator, the bathroom was gross, I was shocked, then the "white towels" I opened one up from my shower and not only was it filthy it had several rips and holes in it, I called the manager who didn't care very unprofessional clearly they need new management. For a $135 a night I would think they could afford windex, bleach and some towels from K-mart. I rather sleep in a tent in the dirt its more enjoyable.

First of all the place is lovely. Close to everything. But my room 201 the A/C worked but kept us up all night from the weird load noises it made. Verticals r broken and could not close shut which kept light in. The bed was left without a top sheet. One of the girls at front desk rude and will not reveal her name as of yet. Anyone calling customer, just about a liar is not called for, Would I go back most likely not. Grounds r kept well. Beautiful beach and overlooking the water. Not good for a vacation stay.

Their service is very poor, their maids are unprofessional, the room wasnt that clean, and the only thing I loved about this hotel was the price of are three day visit and to top it off they have a homosexual posing to be a real women and when I asked for a supervisor the homosexual was SO DISRESPECTFUL when he told me he was the supervisor.

Had a great time, room was clean and condfortable, wonderfull sunsets, only problem I had was having to drive to a bigger beach but it was all good in the end.

An absolute dump. Front desk lady rude. Bathroom and room are dated and patched up. Elevator not working. Towels need replacing. Only thing goo goo d about it is the location. Will not stay there again and won't recommend it. Last minute unplanned trip.

I rarely take the time to review the places I go, but this establishment could not go unnoticed or unmentioned. Bayside Motel is nothing more than a fraudulent scheme designed to take advantage of the unknowing tourist hoping for a reasonably-priced and comfortable vacation spot. Without visiting, you may think Bayside would be a good option. Here is why it is not — and why the online advertising will lead you astray. 1. Customer Service: Terrible. We arrived at 7AM asking for the possibility of early check-in, however the front desk attendant informed us a room would not likely be available until 2PM. Although we watched many visitors leave and the housekeeping staff arrive before 10AM. Further, the motel provides no on-sight attendant in the evenings. After approximately 9PM, your key is just left for you in their mailbox — — clear security concerns there. 2. Beach: More like no beach. More like sest pool. After arriving, the motel informed us there isn't even a beach in KEY LARGO, the closest public access beach is over an hour away. Bayside's "beach" consists of gravel and a dinky algae-invested boat ramp. See photo. But hey, there is a great dirty 'ole pool. 3' on one end, 3' on the other. 3. The room, generally: Dirty tile floors, dirty tub, sheets flipped inside out (which made us think housekeeping used the same sheets for two guests, simply flipping instead of replacing), broken lamp, dingy and cracked walls, filthy mini-fridge. 4.

Reception was friendly and eager to help. The rooms are in a very old condition, the hotel has your best years are certainly behind him. Upon arrival, the room was in order, but the ladies of the room service were absolutely not motivated (observation). We stayed for 1 night in transit and to ensure it has fulfilled its purpose. For a longer stay not really recommended.

My wife and I had to head into the Keys for business, and very lucky to have found a room with several events in local areas. Had a great time. Bed seems to be very old, and shower curtain rod falling down in room 101, but otherwise a nice time. Great to sit outside and listen to the band at Snook's next door.

I booked here this weekend for a mini vacation and to be honest I was pretty nervous getting here because of the reviews. I expected the worse! I was so relieved when I walked in because everything was squeaky clean, room looked great, beds comfortable, ac was cold, bathrooms were clean, and the big flat screen TV is a plus! I don't usually write reviews but I felt like I had to in this case. I honestly have not found anything bad or wrong with this hotel. I think the reviews don't do it justice. Great stay so far.

My husband and I stayed here for a week. We were on our honeymoon. This is a list of reasons to NEVER stay at the bay side inn. 1 they charge extra for Wi-Fi, but the signal is so weak you have to stand in the lobby to use it. 2 they didn't change our sheets the entire week. 3 our blinds on the sliding glass door were broken. Everyone could see in our room. So much for privacy. 4 the "beach" is literally the size and look of a boat launch. 5 the people who work here are rude. 6 it is sooooooooooo dirty. Nasty dirty. 7 MAYBE 10 channels on the tv. 8 the closet doors were off track. 9 toilet NEVER wants to flush. 10 all of the lawn chairs are broken. All of them. 11 house keeping sucks at their job. We never had new sheets or new soaps. We have to go and ask for new towels. If you are looking for a cheap room for one or two nights this is where to go. But PLEASE PLEASE do not make the mistake we did if you plan on staying for a while. The bayside inn ruined my honeymoon. The pictures are old. From what it looks like maybe ten years old.

This place is disgusting! My wife and I arrived late and got our key from the late arrival box outside of the office. After walking over linens that were left outside peoples room we arrived at our room. When we first walked in we could see how horrible of a room it was. The room had a humid, musty smell and dingy feel to it. After looking past the smell I started to see the issues, brown stain on the bedding, mold on the ceiling, moisture-chipped paint above the A/C unit, stains on the nightstand, water stains and chipped paint on the furniture, rotted wood on the vanity, and shower connections not installed properly. Usually, I will tough it out for a night, but when their is something that could effect my health (mold), I won't even try it. My wife and I instantly left the room and started searching for another hotel near by and found the Holiday Inn just a bit further up the road which was the SAME PRICE and 100% nicer than this place. Do not get fooled by the pictures, this place is not worth $50 a night.

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS! Need I say more? Upon walking into the room, not only was everything in sight filthy — dirty floors, peeling baseboards and chipping paint, poor lighting, dingy tub with a broken shower rod, torn box spring dangling to the floor — I immediately knew that I wanted to leave. The hotel that I booked only had availability for the next day, so I figured I could tough it out for one night. Wrong. I wake up in the morning to 20-30 bites down my arms, neck, and shoulders. As I got out of bed, I see a bed bug crawl underneath my pillow. This place has left me TRAUMATIZED. DO NOT make the same mistake I did. Stay ANYWHERE but here.

This place is AWFUL! wish I would've seen the reviews before, but you get what you pay for and it was the cheapest (now I know why! ). Besides the rooms being on par with a campground cabin, the only redeeming quality of the hotel is on the water BUT you can't even get in the water from the hotel. There is a dilapidated "pier" with a "do not enter" sign! After wasting our time for one night there, the worst part was that the hotel charged my card for the night after I had already pre-paid on a travel site! It took 3 phone calls and 2 emails to the "manager" before he wrote back saying my refund was issued (which I'm sure I will have to chase down) — NO apology! These people are crooks, pay a few dollars more and enjoy yourself somewhere else.
