My family and I spent a week here. Our stay was wonderful room was spacious. Hot breakfast was a great option to have in the morning (sausage eggs bacon pancakes toast waffles cereal fruit coffee juice cappuccino). Pool is on the small side but deep 6ft which was pretty cool. Customer service was awesome! Everyone was helpful and kind which is always nice. Very clean and well kept. And bonus it's location is great, short drive to everything vacationing families might need. Would definitely stay again!

Got stuck in Orlando due to flight being delayed and has No place to go, this place is fabulous and I’d stay again.

Its a good place. Clean. Sucks cuz pool and gym closed due to the virus. Rooms are adequate clean comfortable. King size bed is awesome.

Very well maintained, clean rooms, accommodating staff, and sheets, and array of breakfast items. Area is safe and has alot of restaurants and retail. Thanks Viviana for superior housekeeping, Laura at the frontdesk, the dutiful kitchen manager, and Lisa, the GM, for your appreciation of my patronage — this is how you treat consistent guests! So glad they maintained their shuttle service and breakfast options during the pandemic. Service did not lack during a crisis.

I've never had to cancel a reservation before my experience here. It started off poorly: the associate at the front desk did not greet us and was unwelcoming. All the rooms were not ready even though it was only a half hour before check-in — we received one of our three rooms. It reeked of smoke. When I went to the front desk to request a change — no apology. We received a new room — turned down the air and left for lunch. When we returned we realized the AC never turned on and the room was still the same warm and humid temperature. I went to the front desk — no apology. The humidity throughout the hotel was high, the hallways smelled and were very dark. Phones in the room were not 'hotel phones' — just regular wireless — no way to call down to the front desk with a problem. Besides being placed in the room that smelled (why was this not communicated to the front desk not to place someone in it? ) — the worst factor was the lack of empathy and hospitality from their staff.

I very, very rarely give a one star review — but, I just have to with this one. We ended up switching hotels because our experience was so terrible. I read through previous reviews and I feel like I am reading about another hotel — this was NOT a good experience. Our problems with the hotel: 1. Dirty, with literal writing on the walls (in pencil) 2. Air conditioning units did not work 3. Smoke smell in non-smoking rooms 4. Weird, large bins filled with trash and dirty linens in the middle of the hallway that we had to move to get around 5. Rude front desk staff who did not seem surprised at all when we wanted to switch hotels and who literally never looked us in the eye 6. Old phones that had no way to contact the front desk 7. Dark, dark hallways — super creepy 8. Elevator jumped as it was moving We decided that all of this within thirty minutes of checking in was enough to go someplace else.

The stay was decent. Good location near the airport. The staff was super nice and responded to my maintenance issue within minutes. They even let us keep our bags there after checkout while we went shopping before our late flight. No complaints to be had.

Clean and comfortable beds that helps you relax and unwind and sleep through the night. Great staff with a welcoming smile and attitude. Nice indoor pool and gym with a morning breakfast to get you started on the way.

Close to the airport and a shuttle to/from the airport is available. The room was larger than a regular hotel room and felt spacious. The bed was OK, but the pillows were too soft. There is a small coffee pot and a mini fridge in the room. The continental breakfast provided has many items to choose from. There is also a very small store in the lobby for snacks and drinks. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Amy checked us in, gave us some restaurant coupons for nearby places, and helped set up a shuttle ride to Port Canaveral for our cruise.

Stayed here before our flight on a Friday night. The hotel is easily accessible and close to the airport. The price is great too. The rooms were very nice and clean. I like the updated decor. The beds were very comfortable. I really like this hotel. The staff was friendly and even called me because I left an item in my room. I thought that was great and honest. The only issue is parking is very limited. They have a very small parking lot and we had to park across the street at a chili's restaurant. We drove around the back side of the hotel and couldn't turn around so I had to back all the way to the front. But in all this was a very nice hotel and clean. I would stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel and the prices for rooms is pretty good. The hotel does need a little bit of remodeling though. Our bathroom had some deterioration but other than that the room was nice and clean. The room where the hot tub is had mold on the floor and the door was rusting out at the bottom. Other than that this hotel is worth a try.

Great location. Hotel is located by many places to eat and shopping areas. There's a movie theater in walking distance as well. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. There's a hot tub and fitness center as well as a ticket purchase center for attractions in the area.

We stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham for the last day of our trip. We were not disappointed. Hotel was modern, clean and comfortable with extremely easy access to the airport. Price was reasonable and amenities what you would expect from a hotel near the airport-in a good way. Complimentary breakfast was very nice touch considering the other hotels we had stayed at in the area and the prices for much less service and quality. Very pleased.

Great place for traveling through! Very accessible to many restaurants and pharmacy. Clean but a little run down. Free shuttle to Orlando airport and great free breakfast buffet.

Took a quick 2 day trip this hotel was very clean, bed was comfortable slept well. Room was clean and spacious very quiet. Pool and hot tub was very relaxing. Breakfast has several options. Will definitely come back.

Great location right by the airport. Super close to a bunch of restaurants. The only thing bad is the room walls are thin. I could hear the people in the room next to me through the adjoining doors talking well past 3am. Other than that it was great.

Close to airport. Got the deluxe King room with hot tub. One of the best hot tubs I've gotten. Room was nice. Beds and pillows comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Price was a little on the high side for weekday night but not too bad. Nice and close to resteraunts and bars.

The room was exceptionally spotless. We love Wingate hotels, I would rate them 10 out of 10. The Orlando airport runs a shuttle service and also has some food available for early departure on outgoing fligjts. The food was better than all otherplaces we have stayed in. There is even cappuccino service after hours. I can't think of enough good to comment on the Wingate hotels. If there was a down side it would be the coffee. I didn't care for the coffee.

So far the rooms are very neat n clean. Staff needs to be better. The housekeeping staff doesn't know much English. Great location.

Location was great, quick 20 minute drive to Universal Studios. The parking was very limited in front and no side parking I am uncertain about behind it. The rooms, free breakfast, cleanliness well over standard. The best explanation of the hotel would be a budget Marriot.

It got off to a rocky start, but the hotel staff did fix all their mistakes.
First, They gave us a room thst other people were already in, then they moved us to a room that had a huge noise and vibration in it.
Then they moved us to yet another room and we finally got some sleep after the street traffic noise calmed down.
The Breakfast was ok, but someone forgot to turn on the warmers and the eggs and sausage were ice cold.
It was disappointing for a Wyndham but
I gave them 4 stars because the staff was very nice. They said no supervisors or managers work on Sundays so they had to fix the problems as best they could and they did try to fix most of it.
Personally I would not go there again, but it was clean and the staff was pleasant.

The location is in an up-and-coming development and next to the airport, even so it was still very quiet and relaxing. The room was very nice, we had two Queens which were freshly laundered and very comfortable. The hotel offered a nice breakfast and had instant coffee at all times for free from starbucks. The only negatives were the small gym and the strange parking set up, but overall given the location, cleanliness and friendliness of he staff, this is still a top notch nightly or weekly stay for business.

Okay so it's not a 5 star hotel… however, we had just gotten off a Disney cruise and shuttled back to orlando. Don't live anywhere near it and was very worried when I saw check in time was 4 pm, as we got off the ship at 8 am, and were back in Orlando before 9. I call the hotel at 9 and ask if we can check in early expecting for them to say 2 or 3 o'clock at the earliest. The receptionist told us to come on in… AT 9 AM. I ended up calling the receptionist for just about everything, she was so kind, patient and informative. The room was clean and The air conditioner was going. The housekeeping staff brought us an extra blanket and towels as soon as they saw us headed to the room. The friendliness and willingness to give outstanding customer service really was awesome!

My family (including a two-year old) just returned from a 6-night stay at this hotel for our Disney vacation and had an excellent experience. Our interaction with all of the staff was friendly and helpful. I had spoken with Amy multiple times prior to our stay and she was extremely patient and accommodating. The public areas and our room were always clean. The breakfast was always fresh, delicious and constantly stocked. I would highly recommend this hotel. Our two-year old also really enjoyed watching the airplanes out our hotel room window.

I was on a flight from Houston to Newark and in transit at Orlando. Due to severe weather at Newark our flight from Orlando was cancelled and had to break for the night. Wingate being near to the Airport was providing free shuttle both ways and free continental breakfast. I called up the hotel and the lady said go to bay A4 and I am sending the shuttle. Believe me before I reached the pick up point the shuttle was waiting for us. What a great service. Further if you happen to be offloaded with your spouse on a vacation… you get frustrated. Once I saw the room… all frustration vanished. The hotel offers an indoor jacuzzi too. The breakfast was superb. I was thinking why didn't I asked the airline to book me on the flight after two days. When ever I come to Orlando next I will stay at this resort. For me it was value for money.

My friend and I were looking for a hotel near the airport at a reasonable price. Initially we tried to book on one of those search sites that pulls everything. When we tried to book it said no room was available. I suggested looking on airbnb and voila a room at the Wingate was available and at 30+ dollars less than what we would have paid on that other site. We ended up with a king suit that had a jacuzzi tub and stand up shower, a good size TV and the lights in the place are definitely for those who require a bright area to get their makeup right haha! The bed was comfortable enough and the pillows are a bit squishy. Plenty of room for 2 plus size friends with lots of space between.

We stayed at this hotel about a month ago. We had a package that needed to be mailed to our house because we couldn't fit it in our suitcases and the front desk offered to have it sent for us. They charged our credit card to have it mailed but we have yet to recieve a receipt, a tracking number, or the package itself. I have been trying to get any information out of them for 3 weeks. The front desk is so unprofessional everytime I call and ask for a manager. The manager herself Lisa, won't return my calls and when we do speak she tells me she will call me in an hour or two with the information but she never does. So now we are out $150 with no explanation of what happened to our package or even if it was sent out in the first place. I don't even know where to go from here. I am so upset and very disappointed in the lack of professionalism from this hotel. Obviously we will never stay here again and all of our family and friends who vacation to Orlando a lot will not stay at a Windgate hotel either. They are liars and crooks and should not be supported.

The worse hotel ever! The front desk staff Roxanne will try and steal your money! I paid cash and she charged me the whole price of my nights I stayed as well as the 20.00 fee! I caught it and immediately informed her of it. She tried to say she made a mistake but she didn't! She was caught! I filed a complaint and my money better be back in my account or my bank will go after her for my money! She is a thief! Don't stay here and don't give your credit card to her! She should not be working with the public! BEWARE OF ROXANNE!

Great deal for 1 night stay in the in-room hot tub hotel room (normally high-price). Breakfast was included. Great staff. Free shuttle rides to and from the airport. Thin walls unfortunately. Mostly clean rooms.

My fiancé and I stayed at this particular location on our way back home from vacation and checked in around 2 AM after an extremely long day at Disney World. On the way down we had stayed at another Wingate by Wyndham in Atlanta and enjoyed it so we expected a similar experience from this location. Our first impression was that the parking lot was too small, being that it was a holiday (July 4th) it was understandable that they would be busier than usual. It was frustrating, however, that they were so busy that we had to park across the road at a Chili's and carry our luggage back to the hotel. When we checked in, the woman working at the front desk informed us that the type of room we requested was no longer available but that she would upgrade us free of charge. We were both excited and curious to see what this upgrade entailed but we were severely disappointed when we got into our room. I'm not sure what their definition of an "upgrade" means, because this room seemed like a definite downgrade. They put us in a handicapped room, so everything was really low to the ground. The shower was cramped due to the presence of a built in medical bench, and because there was no barrier between the shower floor and the bathroom floor (other than a shower curtain), water got all over the floor when either of us showered. In addition, there was no fan in the bathroom.

Highly recommend! Nice people. Missed our flight end they gave us half rate to come back! Clean.
