So many amenities and a short drive to downtown Daytona Beach! Oceanside is a terrific beach-side condo complex and everyone has been beyond friendly and helpful, especially during renovation. The contractors working on the improvements to the interior of the building are installing upgraded wireless internet, and are kind and considerate while they are working. The front desk staff has gone above and beyond ensuring my stay has been satisfactory, and Lori has been especially helpful in making the space feel like home. One example is when I locked my keys in the room she escorted me to the door to ensure I was able to get it, and on other occasions she has had excellent communication, resolving a few minor misunderstandings (on my part) as I’ve gotten acclimated to the property. Very happy with the view from my condo, and can literally be on the beach in under 5 minutes, and at the end of a long day or on the weekends I’ve enjoyed relaxing in the family pool and meeting other residents and guests. Officer Diaz is around the property and it’s great to have professional on-site security (as well as on-site laundry for families). I’d highly recommend Oceanside to anyone seeking clean accommodations in a comfortable setting. I enjoy walking to the gas station across the street and having access to both an above ground and underground parking structure, attached to the building!

We came to Daytona for a quick girls trip and oceanside inn did not disappoint. The view was great and we loved the tiki bar! Don, who runs the tiki bar, definitely made our trip! He was so friendly and as three young girls, he made us feel safe. If you come, make sure to give Don a fat tip! 🤪

We were led to believe it was a condo. It was really a hotel room with a microwave. The view was terrific though.

I have stayed here more than 3 times, I would definitely recommend this hotel for others to check out, I would like to thank the 3 staff that stood out and made me & my family stay feel like home, thank you Manager Brendan, and wonderful staff Ms. Kae & Hyacinth for everything you guys have done, outstanding customer services ♥️, This Is hotel is the ONLY hotel we book when we visit Daytona, the view from our room each time is AMAZING.

We read the reviews after booking with a group. We were very apprehensive. We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and the cleanliness. Even the common areas were being cleaned continuously. Our room was updated, clean, and comfortable. We are very pleased.

Direct access to beautiful beach, warm outdoor shower to rinse off, nice warm pool, no fuss service. Room and towels were decent. Free breakfast (cereal, toast) and all day coffee. Covered parking. Place seemed run down though, didn't look as clean or bright as in the pictures. They say non smoking but clearly that wasn't enforced very well.

Rooms were decent. Bathroom was a good size. I like the view, the setup of the room was nice. I like that it came with a mini kitchen area. The pool was amazing, elevators were always packed. Right on the beach so it's perfect for a stroll anytime. Poolside bar. Will return.

I don't write reviews but felt this necessary. Customer service good, Carl at front desk very helpful. Everything needs updating. Everything. Poor breakfast, German cockroches, soiled and dated room furniture, and dirty hallway and room carpet. Budget oceanfront.

DO NOT go there. The staff are extremely mean specially the guys at the front desk. The hotel is old. Old AC with loud sounds at night. The door lock doesn't work with the given cards. We had to go up and down several time to change the cards to open the door (on two separate occasions). They claim that there is a breakfast, where in fact there is only bread with oil spread (not even butter), jam and some cereal. I tried to call my wife from the lobby and after several attempts I went up and asked her why she is not picking the phone? We found out that the phone wasn't connected at all! It was one of my worst vacations ever!

We stayed here passing through on our way to the keys. Overall, it's a nice hotel. The decor is a little dated, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. We booked through a 3rd party website and got a discount on an ocean view room, which I highly recommend. Watching the sun rise over the ocean was really cool. It also has beach access right out the back door. Keep in mind that because of this, the lobby and elevator floors are almost always wet. It wasn't a safety issue, just mentioning it. It's just outside of easy walking distance to the boardwalk, so we grabbed a lyft. The biggest downside we had was that the continental breakfast was simply hot bread. All they had was bread for toast, frozen waffles, and cold cereal. In the end, we had a pleasant stay and will likely be back.

This hotel has it's good and bad. We needed a room on short notice and with some special event in town this is the only hotel we could find that was not outrageous. It was a pretty cheap deal and the pictures online looked like it was nice. The housekeeping staff is amazing and super nice. The hotel could use some updating which is fine but they are trying to cut corners and not repairing things like they should. We got two rooms and both rooms had holes in the tubs that were lightly patched up and looked pretty rough. The rooms are clean and a good size but it could use some updating on the decorations. The ice machines worked the whole time and we usually always have ice machine problems anywhere we stay. The pool was nice and even though it says no food or drink by the pool it's not monitored. We always bring food and drinks to the pool and most hotels we go to that have ticki bars don't allow coolers but this place doesn't make you keep coolers in the room so that was a big plus.

Hotel is very outdated and need of upgrades on everything. The beds are terrible. I "slept" maybe 4 hours each night and woke up with my back and neck killing me. Most of the staff was nice but there was not enough parking in any of the options and we had to drive back and forth for 30 mins before we found a "spot" in the grass down the road. Man at the desk said "I don't know what to tell you" when we told him there was nowhere to park. When we finally got to our room our keys didn't work anymore. The elevators feel like they are going to fall to the ground. The walls are paper thin. TV is small and glitchy when when there's no storm or anything. You can see the ocean and there wasn't bugs. I'll give it that.

Rooms are spacious! They have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Decent size bathroom. Hotel offers a bar on the pool, as well lobby bar. Free breakfast. Not the worst place. Had no complaints with the room at all. Great water pressure and a/c was fine. Hotel lobby did smell funny and hotel amenities could use some maintenance.

I wouldn't say I had the worst experience of my life at this hotel, but I wouldn't recommend it. The hallways smell weird, not sure what it is. On the day before I was supposed to leave the housekeeper came barging in our room. Not even the slightest knock. Said that she read the board wrong? My thing is I pay for a hotel room to feel like home and when im at home I dont have to worry about someone barging in on me. Attention to detail should be a quality in all of your employees. I complained but all I got was a "sorry". Also the hotel is under construction and just an overall eyesore. The rooms are ugly and the colors are unappealing.

Tubs have leaks, when you step in them you can hear the water moving underneath the tub. Floor is slightly wet by the mini kitchen sink. We told hotel staff and they moved our room, but that tub had the same issue… but, Hotel staff is very nice. When you stay you get free movie rentals from lobby, just make sure you return it before you check out so you don't get charged for it. DVD player provided in room. Great ocean view in rooms. If the tubs weren't full of water which is unsafe, I would be rating this higher.

Lobby smells off and the first room was dirty still. We changed rooms and the staff was unapologetic. The next room was clean, but the bed was on the floor and set on two twin box springs pushed together. The blanket is also an old foam blanket set between two sheets. The phones weren't working and there seems to be a staffing issue. So far, one of the worst I've stayed in, but no bedbugs so that's a plus. The view is also pretty good since we can see both the ocean, pool, and a better looking hotel.

Stayed here for jeep beach week April 2018. I am not one to complain but this is the worst place I have ever stayed at. As soon as you walk into Hotel it smelled musty, mold. The bedrooms are worse, you could barely breath, actually pretty scary. The elevators were old and dirty I took stairs; walked 7 flights. This is not a place you should take a newborn or anyone with pulmonary problems. I slept one night in the bedroom, second night slept in my car in the parking garage, then drove home that evening – Basically, cut my stay short. I wish I could post pictures because I took a few of rusty AC, ceiling chipping. I now read reviews and rating.

I had various problems aside from the hotel itself while staying here, but some of the hotel staff made it worse. Forget trying to talk to someone on the phone. The front desk almost never answers and several times gave me the run around when I called them asking about why I was charged an extra night when I checked out at 430 AM. Otherwise, the staff was fairly nice. The hotel itself is in need of a lot of work. The showers/tub especially are old and even have broken bottoms. The carpets really need to be washed, not just vaccuumed, because the bottoms on my feet would be black from walking on them. I also had really noisy neighbors both nights and the walls are super thin. There's not much in the way of restaurants really close by (at least a 10 min walk in either direction). It's a cheap hotel, so you get what you pay for. I suppose if you only wanted to stay for a night or two it's not horrible, but they don't provide a shuttle service anywhere (including the airport).

The hotel staff was very helpful with my group. The rooms are clean and all the appliances work. The view from the window to the ocean is very nice. The only problem I've seen is some doors don't close without being forced.

NO BALCONY, it's the only one without balcony. Hotel smelled horrible, room key didn't work had to keep running down to get new one, Windows were dirty, continental breakfast! WHAT A JOKE, SUPPOSEDLY HAD ROOM SERVICE but take some time make some eggs. Coffee counter is discusting looks like it hadn't been cleaned in forever. Never again will I stay here. Plus staff was always very helpful. Room was big.

Not a bad place. It's a party hotel from what I saw. Rooms were nice but not sound proof. Nice staff. Terrible breakfast, don't bother with it. It's cheap though so it's worth it.

Three stars for the view and how close they are to the water. Rooms where a bit outdated but clean. The view from our room was very nice, the only negative is that there are no balcony's. Breakfast is not served by the hotel and it seems like who ever serves/makes it does not care about the quality of the food. Overall the hotel was nice, lot's of parking, good location, and a fair price.

Hot tub doesn't work, tiki bar is only opened on weekends. No room service. If you need extra blankets or anything you have to go down stairs to get. Price is good and the views are great.

Rooms are decent size but walls are quite thin. There were bugs crawling in the bathroom and bedroom but luckily none in the bed. Boyfriend even flipped it over to check and it was perfect and comfortable. Outlets barely attached to the wall though so needs some maintenance.

It's in a great location with the ocean right behind it. The rooms are okay. It have free Wi-Fi, and prices aren't that bad, the breakfast is average. But overall, it's not a bad place to stay.

Smelled of urine, no such thing as continental breakfast! "Continental breakfast" consisted of the following: raisin bread, wheat bread, and Lego my ego frozen waffles. (No I'm not exaggerating) coffee was disgusting no cream instead they served the powder creamer, and regular sugar. Pool was not heated. Towels were stained, bed was broken. (it was leaning) sheets were stained. TV was small. We paid for the ocean view, instead we got a corner view of these two guys.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city centre and is clean and well-suited for short tripping.

Great location! Doesn't have a balcony, but still has Oceanview from room. Room was clean. The bed was a king size, but springs were worn out; so it dipped in the middle. Otherwise pretty good spot to chill for an affordable getaway. My wife and I brought portable stove tops and a conventional oven to account for no kitchen in the room.

Don't stay here. The popcorn was falling off the ceiling, the power outlets didn't work, the phone didn't work, there was tons of precipitation in the windows which blocked the oceanfront view that I paid extra for. There was an older gentlemen at the front desk when I checked in. He had very white hair and he seemed very angry with me for some reason… I was just trying to check in. Then when I tried to upgrade my room they couldn't even get into the computer system. I've asked for a receipt several times and they won't send one too me. It's been almost a week now. You're better off paying the extra money to stay at the hilton down the road.

For 110 dollar the night seen on the seas and breakfast is not bad lack a little cleanliness and a good room refresh.

It is an older motel, but it is clean and well-kept. The staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. It is right on the beach and close to the boardwalk, so it is in a very nice location.

This hotel was nice the rooms was great and I love that it's on the beach. Nice views. The hall ways have a little oder but nothing some air freshener can't fix.

I purchased a package for a stay in Orlando and a 2 night stay in Daytona from Resort Tours and Accommodations. Imagine my surprise to find the Orlando resort was wonderful then to drive to Daytona to the Oceanside Inn. There are only 2 nice things I can say about Oceanside Inn. 1. The staff, what there were, was nice. 2. We were on the beach. There was a live cockroach in the bed, the room was dirty, and it smelled bad. We relocated to another room only to find the same sans cockroach along with run down/broken furniture. The hotel is located in a less than desirable area on the A1A. For a few dollars more I could have stayed at the Hilton. Oceanside cost 40.00 for taxes, resort fees, and something called tourism fee. Shame on Resort Tours and Accommodations. This was deceitful and false.

I don't know if I'm late for breakfast… but in two rooms I didn't find fruit. He's poor. However they have optional menu. Of food processing.

Staff was nice and rooms were very affordable. We stayed in a king beach view room and it was equipped with some very convenient additions such as cutting boards and knives, silverware, glassware and a DVD player. Although we didn't use any of their DVDs they had a decent selection of movies to choose from with no additional charges I believe. The hotel was still recovering from damages from hurricane irma and the pool wasn't open but it all seems like a beautiful set up when it's not under repair. The room was spacious, but their was a really bad smell from the blanket we used that smelled like it wasn't clean at all. The furniture and room seems worn down and in need of some remodeling. The bed was VERY firm. Over all we had a good experience there and would stay there again (maybe after they have time to fix up their hurricane damages and such) they have beach access with a shower to clean up and although they were closed when we walked through they look as if they offer in house food and a bar as well.

It's a shame that an already spectacular area has a hotel with such mediocre service.

DO NOT STAY HERE NEGATIVE The roof of the entrance looked like it was about to fall on top of you. The hotel smelt like there were dogs running around. The elevators had cardboard in it, needs to be serviced. The hallways were dark and dingy The carpet was old and dirty The ac in the room was loud and did not maintain an average temp. The TV had no sound The phone in the room did not work Breakfast was toast and coffee The lobby had a dirty smell The toilet or bathtub had a leak POSITIVE Location was nice since I was so upset of the quality of the hotel I went for a walk. This hotel needs to be closed for renovation. This is not up to standard or quality for people to be paying to stay regardless of how " affordable" it is. There should be a general level of cleanliness. I will never stay here again. I stayed 1 night and that was way too much.

Stayed here 8 days, 7 nights. We enjoyed our stay here. Staff was friendly and catered to our needs. Seems like there is so much potential to the facility; not being used to full capabilities. The security guy held the place down very well at night. Sent the losers packing. I would consider staying here again on a future trip to DB Florida.

I read mixed reviews about the hotel. But, they also said that you guys had friendly staff. However, what I found was not only you do not have friendly staff, but also, the people working there, just does not care. When we arrived, the person at the counter looked busy so we stepped two feet away and waited. To our surprised, a fed up guest walked right by us to complain about her key no working and she was taking care before us by your staff member, without apologies. Upon leaving, the guess, a woman, said to us in a sarcastic way "good look on your stay, this place sucks! ". Upon checking in, we noticed the elevator was dirty, with stains of not being cleaned for days. I understand people walks in with their feet wet, but there is no excuse for the dirty floor. The place smelled old and musty. Breakfast next day was a disappointment. Only stale waffles, cereal, some bread, coffee, and the juice was colored water. What a nerve. Nothing looked fresh. The pockets of butter, read, "vegetable oil. " Plain disgusting. No what you expect at a hotel/resort. On Sunday, our room was left untouched, besides three towels we requested. No credits or apologies. We were told that nobody from housekeeping was available and told us we could go to the front desk and get more towels. I told your manager on our checkout about our mishaps and he not only did not apologize but made us feel like he thought it was all a lie.

I was really nervous about staying here after reading some of the reviews. We had a very nice stay. Room was clean, beautiful view. Great pool. Bargain for the price. Place could use some updating, but definitely great place on the Beach with comfortable beds. Covered parking too. Breakfast was the only disappointment with just cereal, toast, and waffles.

Absolutely fantastic! Love all the securiy measures taken — gated, fobs to access garage, pool area, building etc, security guards overseeing the pool, gate to garage and other areas. We have 3 small children so this was so important to us. The security guards were all very polite, always greeted us with smiling faces, but made sure rules were followed and property was respected. The rules were a bit stricter or rather particular than we've experienced at other places but are also part of what keeps it so well maintained, and peaceful. All the other owners and vacationers were respectful and quiet, and our unit was fabulous! Very nice and clean. The balconies and views we're great! Do wish it we're farther south, a bit too close to the boardwalk for my taste but otherwise was great! Highly recommend!

I had a beautiful time at this hotel because the hotel is right on the beach and I had an ocean front room with a wall of windows facing the gorgeous ocean. The room was huge and had a living room, table, microwave and fridge. The hotel is old and furnished as such. The carpets are worn, the decor and furniture is very old (like the 70s) the whole place needs a remodel. But honestly it was fine and very enjoyable. Nice to have a laundry room with wet clothes/suits from the beach. Breakfast should not be considered breakfast at all. It is cereal in tiny bowls. Always had pool towels. Some of the staff are friendly and helpful, some shouldn't be in the service industry.

After reading the reviews I was EXTREMELY nervous, but went through with our stay. Let me just tell you, the negative reviews are complete exaggerations? Was it a 5 star VIP experience? Probably not, but for $79 we got exactly what we needed. The rooms were amazing and well sized. The facilities were cleaned. The only complaint was that the elevator seemed a LITTLE outdated.

This place is disgusting. My first morning here I woke up bitten all over my face shoulder and chest. Come to find out my son found a bug on my bed. The front wasn't able to do anything. Third night found another one alive and another died. My sister found on in her bed on another floor. Then the hotel smells like moldy and grooms and you smell weed everywhere the smell was so strong it made me sick and my children can smell it. They told us the can't switch rooms because a the infestation that we can leave we have children. The elevator broke down too you had to wait for the other one. Don't waste your money this is health department issue someone must inspect this place.

While the staff were polite and helpful, the facilities that were advertised online were not available upon arrival. The majority of the space was under construction, so the fitness center and the restaurant were both closed. Parking was convenient, and the room itself was very nice.

Had room on 8th floor. Long black hairs on towels and in sheets upon arrival. Dirt everywhere. Urine stain on bed sheets. The whole building smelled like cigarette smoke despite the no smoking signs everywhere. Very humid and moldy smelling as well. One wall in the room was entirely windows, great except for the fact that the blinds had so many slats missing it was pointless. Shower got water everywhere and had no shelving. Shower head would not support itself and sprayed the wall more than you. Light bulbs in room were mostly burned out. Woke up from nap one day to find worker looking in window — no warning from hotel staff. They advertise a fitness room, it had one stationary bike that was broken. Continental breakfast they advertise consists of frozen waffles and instant oatmeal you have to make in Styrofoam cups. Breakfast room very dirty and sticky. If you are looking for hotel with bed, shower, and beach access, you have found it. Otherwise, it was awful.

Absolutely horrible the property is terribly missed managed dirty bug infested no where to park your car there's not a possibility of anyone that ever had stayed here would make a good remark the front desk clerk Steve told me that every good remark on Google is set up by the owner the owner has different people right good remarks it's completely out of line and the fabrication believe me stay away from this property take the night auditor's word for it this place is dangerous he said.

THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! Stay away! Absolutely filthy and the photos posted are lies. The parking lot is across the street and down the road a bit, unpaved, no security and several cars were broken into this past Saturday night. No assistance from the management on the matter. Black mold in the bathroom… I could go on and on. Run.

Horrible hotel. Don't waste ur money! It was dirty, smelly, unsafe, and the hotel staff needs major training on customer service to say the least. All of the pictures online are lies! 35 cars were broken into on Saturday night on their property and their staff didn't seem to care what was going on. The general manager was no where to be found. Be ware! Stay away from this roach motel!

I just got home from a 1 night stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, I did not do research before I made my reservation. This place is horrible and very unsafe! My car along with 35 others was vandalized, windows smashed and everything on Friday night. The hotel did nothing and they even charged me for the nights stay. It is in terrible condition. This is not the 1st time cars have been vandalized I just found out this happened last week to over 35 cars! Something is going on and I don't understand how this hotel can continue to exist. I plan on contacting everyone including local news stations first thing in the morning. It is a complete nightmare, stay away! If you don't believe me, check other reviews. I will never stay anywhere without doing my research. Huge mistake on my part, huge, expensive lesson learned. Shame on whoever owns and manages this horrible place! They should be held criminally negligent!

Just recently stayed here for a week for spring break, while the NCA NDA was going on with a few friends. We was a little worry about staying here due to the recently reviews, but it wasn't that bad, we all enjoyed our stay. The only bad thing was the breakfast, we woke up for absolutely crap. The parking garage was being built so for us to park across the street it wasn't a big deal its right across the street. Nothings really close to anything unless you want to drive. I would stay again. Housekeepers are really nice!

Rooms are nice and clean. Resort is nice. Has a nice pool and a tiki bar hat serves good food and drinks. The area is nice. Close to everything.

I just spent my Senior Spring Break at Oceanside Inn in Daytona. I was extremely skeptical prior to our visit because of the awful reviews I read online. Yes, if you are expecting a 5+ star hotel that looks like its never even been used, you will be disappointed, but it was more than okay for our stay. It was clean, I slept comfortably, it didn't smell like smoke like I read somewhere. It's perfectly fine. We went for the spring break college experience and we got it! Our hotel was full of college kids and we had a good time! If you are a family looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway, I wouldn't suggest it in the Spring Break season. Just thought the hotel deserved a nice review because all the bad ones scared me and I was more than happy with my stay. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We are regulars after our 1st stay. Fell in love with roof top grassy terrace. All rooms are condo's so some more updated than others. Glad parking deck finished.

If you are looking to dodge traffic because the free parking is down the street, use the "free" Wi-Fi at midnight because that's the only time it works, sleep in an uncomfortable old bed, have people working outside your window on scaffolding the entire time, swim in a freezing pool because the heater element is broken, eat the worst continental breakfast ever, pay hidden fees, workout on the three machines they have in the fitness room from 1980, having to use the nasty employee elevator because the guest one was broken the entire visit, having to request your room to be cleaned and smelling a funk through the whole place… then this hotel is perfect for you!

Decent quality room. It was clean but had a faint smell of smoke. No service complaints. The building is also a little dated.

Came here because I won a trip. They let me stay in a privately owned room because we were only here 3 days. My paperwork said check in is between 10 and 3, but I was told the room wasn't guaranteed until 4. Went in and it smelled like mothballs and old (whatever you can imagine it smelled like — as if the door hadn't been open in years). No room service for privately owned rooms, even if someone else is staying there. First night, toilet overflowed at 2:30am. No booklet in the room with numbers to call maintence or the front desk. It's on the beach, but definitely NOT one of the best places I have stayed in. Don't know how much it costs since I stayed here for free, but you should probably go somewhere else. There were no plates when I went down for the breakfast 45 minutes before it was over. Asked the front desk person if there were anymore and I was shortly told "no. " Also, we had to throw our entire body weight into the door to get it to open every time. Upon leaving the first time, I noticed that the door does not completely shut at the bottom, which probably is what makes it hard to open and close — warped moulding around the doors. This is my first night, thank god we are only here one more. Pretty sure that every positive review on here was set up by ownership. In every response to negative reviews, someone offers to be contacted privately to resolve issues, but leaves no contact information.

Everything! I was a little nervous because of the recent reviews I read, but nothing to fear. I spend a night with my kids and my husband and nothing to complain about. They offer a unlimited DVD rental. The room and bathroom was clean. The view expectacular. If they could clean the windows more often you could appreciate it better. But overall awesome experience. Booking another one next month. I stayed at room 707 this past weekend.

We love to stay in ocean side inn, very nice service and friendly. My family's and I go every summer we enjoyed our vacation, The hotel is very nice and clean. We will go again and again. See you next summer 2016. Ms. Amy.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The room was cozy, bigger than I was expecting, and included a sizable mini-fridge, kitchen sink, cabinet with glasses, plates, and utensils, a toaster, coffee-maker, and a hutch. I only stayed for three days but I was able to unpack the dry and refrigerated food I brought and it felt homey. The bed was large, comfortable, and clean. The whole hotel was clean and welcoming — yes it seems a little old, definitely not a new mint condition hotel, but I rather liked the atmosphere. Everything was clean and functional! (I noticed many reviews talk about the dirty windows. The windows on this hotel look different than others — I assume it's because they are tinted to mitigate heat from the sun, or perhaps are made from a material that can better withstand storm winds. The windows are NOT dirty or rusty (at least my 6th floor windows were not. ) They are just made from a material that looks odd from the outside. ) I would recommend this hotel, and if I ever come back to Daytona Beach I definitely plan on looking for a room here.

The hotel looks like nothing in the pictures. Pool is disgusting and breakfast is the worst I ever seen and tasted in my life. The place located right on the beach, however the area is very getto. DO NOT go there. Also, bathroom is very old. I'm staying here right now and I can't wait to check out tomorrow. Hope that helps!

Just checked in today! Came 2 years ago, it was perfect then perfect now! Love the rooms & all the space! Amazing hotel. If you're looking for a perfect view so you can walk out on the beach when u walk out the door! It's perfect.

I stayed here one year ago in the large penthouse and it was fabulous! Beautiful view and clean spacious room. We had such a great time that I called in December of last year to book the same room. Then planned a family trip for me and all my sisters whom live in different areas of the U. S. To meet and stay in this room. When we checked in tonight they gave me the key for the smaller penthouse which my family and I would never fit into. There is only one bed! We are so disappointed because we have looked forward to this trip since December. They let us have the large penthouse for two nights but told me it is booked for the other three nights. I was told to talk to the manager in the morning. I am really hoping we can clear up this problem otherwise will be looking for another hotel. Will update after talking to the manager. Keep your fingers crossed. Bragged to my entire family about this wonderful room and what a disappointment it will be if we don't get to spend our entire vacation there. Will keep you updated and hopefully can change the number of stars given.

If zero stars was available thats what I would rate this place. First off the web site is fake as they come this place is nothing like it shows on the site. On first arriving at oceanside inn the place is very dirty, smells horrible, the windows on the hotel was do dirty they looked stained, the restaurant was never open, nor the bar, all of the front desk clerks (with the exception of one young lady) was very rude, we was suppose to have ocean front but of course there was none available on our arrival. When we got to our room after walking a block and crossing the busy street to park with 3 little children our room had a horrible smell. The housekeeping was horrendous, there was a sign that said housekeeping does not clean until like the 3 or 4th day of ur stay, which was fine I had no problem with that because I didnt not want them in my room when I wasnt there anyway. But on our 4th day of stay while we was out of the room the housekeeper came in and cleaned and of course there was a problem when we got back. The housekeeper had knocked my wifes ring off the end table and vacuumed it, she did not report it, she placed it back on the table as if she done nothing. The manager was notified who did come to our room and explained what happened after we call for a police report. (bc we thought the diamond had been stolen.

This hotel was nothing like the description said (of course). My first impression at arrival was disappointing, very dirty and rusted windows, I'm assuming they haven't hired window cleaners since opening this hotel, and parking for this place is across the street in a field, no proper parking spaces, the main level is pretty descent until you go to your room. The carpetting is very old and has a stentch of mold. The rooms are musty (I had to open my room window) I was scared for what the bed looked like under the sheets, may I mention the sheets were filled with strands of hair from God knows where and it's basically like hospital sheets. It had filthy walls, looked like blood splatted on the door border. Very unsanitary! Also carpet was stained so bad, I didn't even want to walk barefoot! The view is pretty good but again the window was just so filthy. At night, we went to the pool area, and the water looked foggy. The breakfast could be way better and especially the juices! Very watered down and had a weird taste to it. This hotel has potential to being beautiful, but they obviously don't want to invest money nor time to this place. I should've gotten a refund or paid much less, I've stayed at much better Motels! I would not recommend this place, but see for yourself.

Zero stars! I flew down from North Dakota to have my wedding and reception at this location and wish that I had never even looked at this hotel online! Roach bodies in the towels and beds! Rooms are cheap and run down and look like the bad side of town. Breakfast is old bread and waffles. Mold in the reception room. The woman who sets up group rates and reserves rooms does not even know what rooms the hotel even has so you check in thinking that you got one room and find that that room does not even exist! How stupid?! All my guest had bad experiences from their rooms to the days it took to even get a hold of someone to book a room. Don't waste your time with this hotel! You will just be wasting your money.

The location is good but that is about all this place has going for it. My now wife and I were married here and would advise strongly against it. We booked this place before the current event planner was hired and during our first conversation she said "I don't do wedding. " Things we were told would be available where not and she did not seem to care one bit. The biggest surprise was when we showed up the day before the wedding she told us they did not have enough tables for us, so they just added more chairs. She did not care that we had assigned people to tables. The reservation desk messed up our wedding party and guest hotel stays having them check out early or not having rooms for them. Also numerous people had to switch rooms because the AC was not working and other issues with their rooms. The banquet rooms AC quite working about 30 minutes into our 5 hour reception. Come to find out this happens quite often, which is also why they had a huge fan to put in the room. Again no really seemed to care about this either.

We were on 9th floor, with a beautiful view of the beach. Very clean. The staff were friendly and when we needed anything, they were prompt. Loved it! The free breakfast was an added bonus.

Upon entering our room, we noticed the carpet was VERY sticky. That was just the beginning, only 1 lamp worked in the room, the battery on the safe was dead, the beds were AWFUL and there was an unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. I notified the front desk about the lighting and the safe as those were the most important issues. The safe was finally fixed ON THE LAST DAY of our stay, lighting was just left alone. Upon speaking with the manager, he was very uninterested. We declined housekeeping services due to the fact that we could not lock our valuables in the safe, so we were running to the desk for fresh towels as needed. Upon checkout, I once again expressed how displeased we were and the manager offered to move us to a new room. AT CHECKOUT! This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and I most certainly would NOT recommend it to anyone.

We are Orlando residents and frequently take our children to Daytona for little mini vacations over the weekends. So, we have stayed at several hotels in Daytona Beach. At the price level, Oceanside Inn has been, by far, our favorite hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite right by the pool. The staff was very friendly and we loved the little band that played alongside the pool.

I was very apprehensive about staying at this hotel after reading the reviews on here. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I got into my room. I rented an Oceanfront room: it was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful view. Yes, the furniture is a little outdated. Who cares. It's a beach hotel. Apparently all these other vacationers have never rented a beach hotel before because the room was pretty on target. The bed was AMAZINGLY comfortable. I slept great. The breakfast is nothing special, just some cereal and pastries. I think for the price paid on the room who cares if breakfast isn't great. I will be returning to this hotel on my future visits to daytona. The price is too good not to.

I got this place through Priceline as a 2.5 star Hotel. I travel a lot and typically do not get anything below 2.5 star (ie. Holiday Inn Express, Hayat Palace, Fairfields, etc) This was worst than 1 star hotel in my opinion. Nothing like the 2.5 star hotels I have gotten in the past. It is old, poorly maintained, dirty carpets and falling apart. The staff were nice, but the hotel is old, dirty, the parking structure is condemned by the city and closed, since it is falling apart, chunks of concrete had fallen off of. I was asked to take the car a block away to park in a dirt field which had tall grass growing in it, by the night manager at 12:00 AM Once I got to my room, before I insert the key, I noticed the door was left unlocked and was crack open! I went down and the manager said, the maid must have not locked it! We walked back and he said everything is fine. The furniture in the room had stains on them. The bathroom seat was broken. The bed was clean and no bed bugs, thanks God! It must be owned by very cheap people who do not want to spend a penny on it! The breakfast was kept to very minimum and I passed on it. Had I not paid by Priceline, and Had I gotten there earlier than 12:00 AM, I would not have checked in there. They also took another $7.83 for resort fee! What a resort this place is! Yuks, I got out, as soon as I could in the morning! I travel a lot and I typically do not like to bad mouth any business, but this place really got me!
