Very happy with the personal service and friendly atmosphere. Everything is clean, direct access to the beach from the resort, restaurant has good food and there is Poolside/beach front drink service. Happy with our decision to spend our 20th anniversary here.

Front desk the employee was amazing. The upgrade was great. The music at the pool was wonderful. Housekeeping was very helpful. Will stay there again. Parking was to much money each day.

Our family of 4 stayed here last weekend for my birthday and it was a TERRIBLE experience. The hotel was sold out with a skeleton crew. Our 4 adult occupancy suite only had enough bedding FOR ONE BED. Nobody could help, nobody took ownership or responsibility and the Manager on Duty had the nerve to laugh and ask if we wanted dirty sheets for our room because that’s all they had. Around midnight, someone knocked on our door & provided two flat sheets, that’s it. And they still charged us full price for this horrible experience. This was our 7th visit to this hotel, but we will NEVER come back due to the terrible new ownership. The Marriott name is being tarnished here.

Stayed at hotel in June 2022. Had to valet my car, as this is the only option. The valet had my car for 3 hours and returned it with a dent in the door. They are denying responsibility and will not show me the videos. The management at the hotel will never return phone calls. If you like your car do not stay here.

I was not impressed what so ever with this hotel! Although the hotel was attractive and for the most part the interior clean, the lack of professionalism and down right rudeness from 90% of the staff was alarming. I joined some of my family members for a short birthday celebration weekend recently and from the moment I arrived to the hotel I personally witnessed the lack of friendliness and to be frank, rudness from the front desk staff, to the management, to the restaurant management and bartenders. I am a extremely friendly out going person with over 20 years of hotel / restaurant experience. I know personally how hard this business can be and how the staff can make or break a customers experience. However, what my family and I experienced while we were at this hotel was nothing short of unacceptable. There were many situations that transpired during our stay, especially with the management in the restaurant. Far to many to get into detail in this review. The biggest issue is for me at this point with all of this is that there has been absolutely no apologies given to us for the situations that occurred from start to finish of our stay. Because of the lack of integrity, lack of professionalism and hospitality, I will never stay at this hotel again unfortunately. My wish is that the staff to include upper managment go through some serious basic hospitality training.

My husband and I chose this location to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel is very clean and nice. It is a bit dated but overall not bad. The beach is very nice and you’re given a bracelet for a free beach chair. Demetrius (not sure I’m spelling that right) and Craig were absolutely phenomenal! They made our anniversary dinner very memorable. They also recommended many things to do and see while we were in town. Honestly the only reason I didn’t give the hotel a 5 star is because of the bed. The bed was one of the worse beds I’ve ever slept on. For the amount they charge the bed should be comfortable with a newer mattress…. We could obviously tell the mattress was very old. If we stay again we will definitely be asking for a room with a newer bed.

We were NOT told the 20.00 resort fee was PER PERSON per day! We also weren't told the $27.00 a day valet charge was mandatory! The restaurant prices are absolutely ridiculous for the standard fare you get. Our deposit for incidentals was 450.00! Outrageous! The Wi-Fi does not work and it's 5.95 a day! We will NEVER stay at a Marriott ever again! I'm going to post my review every single place I can to warn others! As a professional Travel agent, I'm appalled at the charges we were FORCED to pay on our Honeymoon. We couldn't even have a few fancy dinners, forget their Spa unless you're a Millionaire. Totally ruined our Honeymoon that we saved for over a year.

Awesome layout for a smaller resort. Nice pool and wonderfully spread out cabanas, chaise lounges and chairs. If they’re full you can alternatively head to the most glorious beach with direct access and plenty of lounges and umbrellas set up for hotel guests. They had a different singer guitarist each day which filled the space with a cool vibe especially for those that love the songs of the 70’s & 80’s. The staff are all professional and were simply kind and helpful. The mahi mahi fish tacos we ate daily and The frothy beverages poolside were really good. Even the valets were impeccable with their service and had the traffic running smoothly. We definitely plan to come back here again.

This resort blew me away with its luxurious amenities, gigantic balconies (whoa! ), delicious dining and warm hospitality — not to mention the focus on cleanliness and safety. Our room was huge and comfortable, the food was insanely good and the two swimming pools were clean and fun. If you’re into safe and uncrowded getaways in South Florida, this is the property for you!

Terrible service takes too long for everything over an hour waiting on breakfast had to cancel. All the ice machines are out of service! It’s terrible not worth the stay thanks!

The desk staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are nice and clean. The beach is right out back. The only issue I had was the Line cook doesn’t read the written food order, so he cooks your food the way he wants too! But the saving grace the on duty restaurant manager took responsibility and made things right. Thank you Ariel.

The staff were genuinely helpful & really sweet… concierge, bartenders, waitresses, valet. They made my Father’s 77th Birthday weekend extra special & their thoughtfulness was lovely & greatly appreciated. I would definitely go back & recommend this hotel!

We were there for our anniversary once. I had emailed the concierge ahead of time to get some suggestions. During our stay, they gave us the royal treatment! Lovely hotel, awesome services.

Second visit to this wonderful hotel (5/5-5/8). We love this resort for it's great access to the beach and 2 wonderful pools. Always helpful staff but especially James the concierge and Jeff the front desk supervisor who helped us with changing our room. James personally took me over to the desk to make sure we get the same side of the hotel and same room type on any one of the floors available in the event we return a third time. Bar and restaurant are great; we even got a specially made item that had been taken off the menu from the previous year. Thanks to the waiter and restaurant manager for doing this. Valet parking is prompt when time to take your car around town. Plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area but not within walking distance; just a short ride to anywhere. Thanks again and hopefully we're back next year.

Great spot on the beach. Lots of amenities for families to business meetings. Hot tub and pool on site. Restaurant on site that serves happy hour specials. Service is very good but several staff members lack training and the attitude necessary to achieve a five star rating.

Loved my time there the only downside my vacation was not long enough to take in every thing. Great family atmosphere as well as for a couple get away. The staff was very accommodating during my visit. I will be visiting again, however with more days to enjoy of course.

This hotel was very nice! Right on the beach and has 2 nice pools and jacuzzi, restaurant with good drinks. Due to heavy down rain, they set up a kids area which was excellent! Face painting and games. Only downside was rooms were pretty small and valet was pretty pricey.

Overall definitely a great place to stay. The hotel doesn’t have complimentary chairs to use along the beach, you have to pay $40 for two chairs and an umbrella. The beach is beautiful the water is usually nice and cool. The breakfast is very nice and has lots of options. The staff were courteous and helpful.

The accommodations were nice here. I don't think there is a balcony that you can't see the ocean from. There are less dining options than some other areas though. McCoy's downstairs is okay. Also the Seaside grille is walking distance and is also good. Those are the only real options for dining unless the weather is very mild so you can walk far.

My husband and I came to spend the day with my daughter and niece and we ate dinner at their restaurant McCoy’s. I have a very specific and restricting diet that I must adhere to and the staff and chef were amazing to provide me with a wonderful meal. They took the time and care to be sure I could enjoy my meal and my time with my family. I will definitely recommend this particular Marriott and McCoy’s Restaurant to everyone.

The hotel is very reasonably priced for its location. Right on the beach, good restaurant, clean and well maintained. Every member of the staff I encountered was friendly and helpful. I travel frequently for work and pleasure and primarily stay at Marriott branded hotels. Overall I was very happy with my stay and the accommodations. I rated 4 star rather than 5 because they offer Internet TV and it only worked my first night. I couldn’t get any services to load at all. I was here for business, not pleasure so the beach wasn’t on my agenda. I would have liked for the Netflix, HBO or Hulu to have worked.

Very nice room. I opted out of housekeeping and inadvertently didn’t get a new request for room service breakfast. I also had to wait for 45 minutes to get my lunch and was late for a seminar. When I mentioned this at checkout I was given a meal voucher and 1000 extra pound which I greatly appreciated.

My wife and I stayed just this past weekend and the stay was remarkable! We checked into the hotel and that’s when we met Robert Harris, the Assistant Manager. I simply told him that we came over for the weekend to celebrate our 16 year wedding anniversary and next thing I know, he gave us an executive suite and a complimentary bottle of wine was delivered to our room. The entire staff was so nice from the towel guys, waitresses, valet, housekeeping, … I can go on and on. We have been to several Marriotts and this one I can say without a doubt is excellent! Thank you Robert and the entire staff at this Marriott in making this weekend special!

The hotel is very nice, clean, and the staff is excellent and extremely accommodating. The hotel is right on the beach with plenty of room to setup. You can play volleyball with the nets on the beachfront property or hang out at the pools and hot tub area. Haven't had a bad experience here and so far everything has met or exceeded my expectations. The surrounding area also has lots of options for reataurants and water sports.

This hotel has the friendliest staff ever. Everyone I have interacted with — even those who are not "guest-facing" were such great people. Small hotel but very nice, I enjoyed my stay very much. Will be coming back again!

What a pleasure to stay here. We showed up at 11:30 pm on a Saturday night after having to leave another hotel (Hilton disgusting). Everything was ready for us here and the night clerk gave us breakfast for 2 in the morning. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. Beautiful room, beach and ocean views and great food, we will stay here again.

We spent 4 days and 3 nights here and had a beautiful room, absolutely polite and friendly staff, lovely pools and a quiet clean and relaxing beach. Really, the entire time was perfect! We enjoyed drinks and snacks on the small balcony with an ocean view off our room. The area has some great dining as well, which we made good use of.

Great property. The beach was clean. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The club sandwich from the little deli shop in the lobby was very good! Very Very Good! The only reason that I gave 4 stars rather than 5? is that I paid for an Ocean view room… that I did get… but the workers at the courtyard parked and took breaks Rich below my balcony. I didn’t feel comfortable sitting on my patio and felt I needed to keep my curtain sheets drawn. Reduced the experience just a bit. Don’t get me wrong. They weren’t bad guys, they didn’t do anything to make me uncomfortable… I just wanted a bit more privacy.

Great location and beach access in Pompano beach, right out the front of the place. The check-in process was smooth and the clerks always pleasant. There aren't a lot of stores and restaurants (with the exception of the other hotels) within walking distance; it's a relatively quiet area. Room service is available with the option to pick up vs delivery since the restaurant was close. The food was pretty good and large portions. The room was nice, the beds were just okay nothing spectacular. The bathroom was appointed with quality toiletries, hair dryer and a lots of towels. Great water pressure and lots of hot water. There is a cooler and safe in the room as well. The place could use some updating and if you're looking for a spot at the beach this is a great option.

Not the best Marriott we have visited. The beach is awesome and the staff was kind, cheerful, and professional. Had a few issues that I plan to bring to Marriott's attention, but did not let it ruin our 4 day stay. Hopefully they can improve operations and enhance the experience for guests. I will say the corner suite is a great room!

Stayed on the top floor. Beautiful view of the ocean. All the staff members were great and friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate. Bed super comfy. Pool was great, food was great. I wish I could live here.

The rooms were clean and staff was accommodating but we would usually do a morning activity and return to an uncleaned room and had to call the front desk every day to have the room tended to. Valet parking only so have that tip ready every time you use the car! We only used the bar and restaurant once and it was fine. My biggest complaint is that if you’re going as a couple for a romantic long weekend you’re pretty much stuck using the beach as the pool AND spa are over run with kids! There are two pools, one isn’t heated and nobody uses it! The heated pool had 20-25 kids in it carrying on at all times. Even the spa was overrun with kids under 12 which usually there is a rule of 12 and over! My wife and I tried to use it and only got to once in a 4 day stay at like 9 at night! That’s the issue and they need to fix it. I would suggest making one of the pools a kiddie pool and limiting the spa to 12 and over with 15 per hour “adult swim “ time.

Love the Marriott at Pompano Beach! Spent 5 days there this month with friends and family. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food in restaurant and room service was just great. Best of all is the staff — every single person at that hotel was friendly, helpful and always happy to share info or find out how our day was. I recommend this wonderful hotel to everyone who wants to feel comfortable, safe, and pampered!

Best place to go hands down! Smells wonderful! Full of life! The people that work their are the best!, so friendly and professional. If I could have moved in, I would have! Please don't bring kids here, I have 2 and this isn't that place, this is a get away dream land! Walk staight out past bar and pool right on the beautiful beach❤

It was amazing. We had little bit issue but Restaurant manager CHRIS SNOW went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Chris snow was really professional and friendly manager. This hotel was absolutely great from the start the front desk was very accommodating and most of the staff. Specially I WOULD LIKE TO THANKS FOR Restaurant Manager CHRIS SNOW. Beside that I would like to thanks for front desk manager JEFFREY and front desk staff Diego. They made us feel like home.

Marriott finally has a boutique style full service hotel. It's centrally located between Ft Lauderdale & Boca Raton. The property is located on the Ocean but offer a relaxing pool. Not too crowded. Attentive staff. The food menu at the pool should be expanded to include more options. The room was high end with an upscale bathroom. The only thing that bothered me was the cost of Valet Parking (way too high at $27 a day) & Fee for a Chair & Umbrella. It's tacky the way its itemized. Other than that, the stay & experience was first rate.

Pool warm and right on beach. We had a great stay. Wish you didn't have to pay for valet parking (only parking option and $25/day) but other that that everything is good!

This was definitely an outstanding, entertaining social event held at a remarkable location. The hospitality was fantastic! The staff, the crew, the facility, all amenities were just priceless. Would I do it again? Of course. Would I recommend friends? Totally. We plan on doing it again.

We were reminded time after time that we booked under the government rate and many of the amenities didn't come with that rate. I told them that I was a DAV and offered to pay more to get better amenities. The pool was full of trash that looked like food someone was eating near or in the pool. I told a pool attendant who didn't seem to interested to tell someone of authority. The room was nice even though we went out for the day and they didn't come into clean up. We called down around 5pm to let them know we were going out for dinner and would like the room cleaned. Valet was fine. The bar was fine. The beach was the best amenity.

Great experience. Diego at the front desk was the difference maker for me. I am a rewards member, ad he genuinely thanked me for being so. We were given an upgraded room by him. He was very polite, friendly, and professional. The room is amazing, view was exactly how he described. Hotel was great, amenities were great, but for how much room was it is what you would have expected. The product alone gets a 3, because price matched what I expected and nothing more. It was the service with the product that makes me a promoter of this hotel. Diego was the service and is why I would highly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I was here for my honeymoon at the beginning of October and let me just say this, having no experience at a 5-star hotel does not blind me from seeing how elaborate this residency is. The staff was very accommodating with my late arrival after driving straight from NC, the breakfast was hot and fresh, and the room was absolutely amazing. The view form my room of the ocean was not exactly what I had in mind since we were put on the side of the building rather than the back, but it was still beautiful nonetheless.

Friendly staff, but a few issues with the room and overall experience. The shower in our room didn't drain properly (the floor wasn't slanted enough so sand and water took a while to drain post shower) and it smelled quite musty when we first arrived. Staff was quick to send someone up to clean it though. On the beach area staff was difficult to come by. Beach chairs were out, but staff was not in sight. When we started setting up chairs, staff zoomed over on an ATV asking to see vouchers. No problem, but perhaps a centralized booth and sign to ask for chairs could alleviate the issue? Food at the restaurant was decent, but drinks took absolutely forever. They only had one bartender on shift and she was running both the Starbucks portion and making drinks. Would likely have been smoother to have a second person making drinks. Quite often our food was out before our drinks were, and we had ordered drinks 10 minutes before food.

The hotel was nice, but the service and food at the restaurant not so much. Its a beach resort with lots of people spending the day there and it was as if the restaurant wasn't expecting anyone there? It was a holiday weekend too and they appeared to be under staffed and many menu items were unavailable!

Nice hotel and right on the beach! I've been going to this hotel since 2013 and I've noticed things going a little downhill. Things like noticing the shower not being clean and what appears to be mildew in the corners of the shower. Finding a hair on the bed or seeing prints on the patio glass door. Also, the cleaning staff needs to be more mindful of its guests. The cleaning staff will have loud conversations or will yell down the hall. If they continue letting things slip through the cracks, this will no longer be an upscale resort hotel.

Location is really nice. Plenty of good dive locations nearby. You can get anywhere pretty quickly with Lyft. If you ask for water at the front desk, they'll give you a bottle, no questions asked. The drinks at the bar are decent. Definitely wait for happy hour. The food and drink will cost you an arm and a leg; though, service is top-notch.

The room an the property were nice right on the beach but for some reason the hotel lobby had a really bad smell and so did the room. When I told the front desk about it she just said she had allergies and couldn't smell it. I think they lack the ability for attention to details. Even though the rooms look nice, there were many things out of place and there was always trash on the floor in the hallways and by the elevator. Had they paid a little bit more attention to detail I would have gave them four stars. This was the Residence Inn by Marriott on Pompano Beach Florida.

Corner room, nice view. Family friendly meaning kids are going to be around, in both pools, etc. Not exactly quiet due to that. Beach is nice, though there's a rock line that you need to be careful about traversing as you go out into the ocean. Everyone so far has been very helpful, polite, and doing what they can to make our stay pleasant.

The resort is very nice and updated. It's right on the beach. The staff is friendly. My king ocean view room is clean and spacious. The food has been great. I don't care for the parking situation, which is valet only, but I understand that space is limited here on the ocean front.

Today Unfortunately I checked in At @Marriot Pompano Beach. The keys did not work after they changed it 4 times. The room Ac cannot lower the temperature since the 9th floor hallway A. C. Does not Work. I asked to have money returned. Mr Cooper said he could do nothing since 2 hours had passed. This Hotel is not Marriot Owned or Run. Save your self aggravation and go some where else.

Nice property on the beach. Rooms are spacious, clean and modern decor. Great food especially the fish tacos. The fitness room has a terrific view and a nice selection of LifeFitness machines including treadmills, ellipticals, dual-cable machine, free weights stationary and recumbent bike. No complaints here!

Great view, great location, great staff, the guys that get your car were extremely nice and friendly, the down side of this hotel is they charge you 25 dollars to park your car a day, are you kidding me, pus every time you get your car you give the guys a tip, which they deserve, now for having drinks from the bar, two rum & cokes were 38 dollars, please you can bye a bottle for less than that, the food was very over price, and when you eat you could not fine a garbage pal to disposed of your garbage, for the 6 days that we were there 2 time our room was not clean, we had to call the desk to have our room clean, and the time was 7:pm, one time the other was 6:30pm, we have stay a marriotts before, this has to be one of the worst ones I stay at, I was printing out my boarding pass, was talking to a guest, and they were saying that they had spiders in the beds, and please went you are checking out you must check your bill, they charged the other couple 25 dollars for a car they did not have, very very over price for what you get, would not stay there again, saying all that we go to fort lauderdale twice a year, would not ever stay their again, do not no how people rate this hotel so hy, I guess people have money to trow away because thats what you are doing at that resort, and as far as cleaning the rooms its towels&sheets, the only way a can give this 4 stars are for the parking guys, but for the hotel it self two stars,

The hotel was lovely. Right on the beach and the rooms were updated and very comfortable. The staff I interacted with were very friendly and accomodating and it was a very enjoyable experience. The only sore spots were a teenage birthday party at the hotel, and the fire alarm/sirens that went off in the evening (false alarm) and forced us out onto the pool area where the teenage birthday party continued in full force. Other than that, it was a very nice experience and I look forward to staying there again.

The walls in the rooms are paper thin. I spent over an hour this morning listening to the alarm go off in the room on the other side of the bed… starting at 5am. At 9 am the occupant of the room on the other side of us decided to host a business meeting. They're not being intentionally loud, but I can hear every word. The hotel is great otherwise, but if you're looking for a room that's a quiet retreat, just know it could be ruined by one inconsiderate guest.

I have enjoyed several Ritz-Carlton properties in south florida but this resort surpassed every Ritz-Carlton I've visited. The property is perfectly detailed and designed but this Marriott's greatest attribute is it's people. Asia was the young lady that checked me in and seemed very interested in my I was in South FL. I told her I was there to start a new job and when I woke up she had slipped a note under the door wishing me luck on my 1st day andhoping I enjoyed the room. Nikki left a little welcome home gift and bottled water after my 1st day and congratulated me on my new opportunity wishing me a successful future with my new company! If you are a Ritz-Carlton, Marriott or just an appreciative customer you HAVE TO STAY HERE if you're in South FL. I've already booked another 10 days with them in the new month! Room was clean and feels modern. Roomy with a couch and small balcony which has enough space for two chairs and a small table. Hotel is right on the beach which is gorgeous. The beach was not busy (early Dec). Hotel chairs cost extra. Dining options at the hotel are quite pricey and identical menu items on room service were $5 more (+automatic gratuity as usual). Employees are friendly.

It even if was beautiful very expensive.
