Beautiful beach resort, in Pompano Beach. Quiet family friendly pool, beach cabanas and jet ski rentals!

Lack of cleanliness of the rooms, carpets, air conditioners with infernal noises … the room has been cleaned at 17 hours … they only make the bed and clean the bathroom and nothing else. They do not replace anything from the bathroom.

I stayed in room 808. The room had old furniture. The hotel lobby was upgraded and it stopped there! The room was run down and fixed up with a bad spackle job. Lighting in the room was poor and the couch/sofa bed was so worn that the dip in the couch was so noticeable it looked like the couch was smiling. I didnt have washclothes and had to call down for that. I simply asked for the housekeeper to vacuum my room and leave soap inside of the 9a-5p window that the front desk gives and no one came! The prices are exaggerated… there's an 18% gratuity + the cost of using your card added to whatever you buy at the restaurant (cheeseburger with fries ended up being $21.25) and $32.00/night parking not included in the cost of the stay is ridiculous. The free breakfast at maximum is cheaply done… there's not even a waffle maker station. I'm a RN and make ok money and im not frugal by far. I'm not one to complain or write reviews but I was really disappointed. The upside is it is very kid/family friendly and my daughter really enjoyed herself and didn't want to leave… but shes 4 and string cheese excites her. I understand we are living in a time of inflation but there inflation and then there's being taken advantage of because you have trying to get away form it all for a bit!

Finding random charges. So far up to almost 800! Bank is alerted and I’m from a family of lawyers so they will have to pay attention very soon! They even charged me daily for parking and I didn’t have a car! I am lodging formal complaint and seeking damages in a city of law. They say I am not the only one and they are hard core investigating.

The staff here was by far the best I have encountered in my travels. All staff were kind, greeted you, said have a good day, etc. Even in passing, in an elevator, etc. The front desk was so helpful and provided tons of options for things to do and places to eat. The outdoor atmosphere was beautiful, gorgeous wooden tables, lighting set a nice relaxing mood. Absolutely loved there was a washer/dryer in our room! So important when staying beachside!

We found this gem at the 1st of summer and have came back 4 times since. The atmosphere is great for romantic getaways, family trip, or girls trip. Rooms are big and have full size refrigerator, washer and dryer, and dishwasher. this is one of my favorite Marriott hotels in South Florida.

Pool was very nice! The valet is as great and the employees were all super friendly and helpful!

On May 1, 2021! We went to a Wedding next door at the Marriott and then went to check in at the Residence Inn. We had paid in full on April 24 th so should be no problem, We left the car with the valet and tried to check in. The clerk said we did not have anything under our name. My husband asked if they had any Rooms and they said all booked.
Thank God we are local so drove home. When we were home I called them back at i
12 🤣am and the night manager found our reservation and said it was cancelled around 7:46 pm while we were at the wedding. The night manager turned it over to the day shift. Angela the Manager called me Sunday and told me she thought they never got paid and could not do anything. I have the receipt so the credit card company is now disputing. What is disturbing is that desk clerk said we had no reservation, 2 hours later they found it and said cancelled, then on Sunday was told they never were paid by the travel agent. Really?

Very nice front desk personnel and the room is great I couldn't ask for a better hotel and it's on the beach walk out you door and your on the and the pool is very nice although I didn't know I had to pay 27 dollars a day for parking but the hotel Is great.

The perfect location on the beach and surrounded by streets of activities. The room was great fully equipped and the staff is awesome.

The staff could be rude at times, one of the staff lied when asked for cream for coffee and said they were out and then turned around 10 minutes later and said she was just too busy at the time to get it and then went and got some. The lobby smelled like trash several of the days. Enough to make me sick to my stomach. The boxed breakfast were horrible and inconsistent. They would often forget to put certain items in them like butter for the bagel or yogurt in one of the boxes when the other two had it. Seems like they were carelessly thrown together. Room cards were hard to use. Had to get them reactivated or completely new ones every day! Valet parking is mandatory at $27 a day and does not tell you this until you arrive. Then they don’t even have enough valets so when it was busy you would have to wait awhile to get your car.

This Hotel went way above what I expected. Everyone so friendly & very helpful. Our room was huge with a beautiful kitchen (surprise us) just was looking for a mini fridge & microwave. We have children. Bathroom was amazing & also huge with washer/ dryer. We couldnt be more happy. Pool & hot tub was a hit with us all. Also YES YES YES it's right on the beach…

Hidden expenses. They do not disclose that they charge you $28 dollars per day for parking until you check in. You have no option but to pay it because there is no on street parking nor is there free lots anywhere near the hotel. Property was not kept clean. I did ask them to make some exceptions as we were not able to use most of the perks the hotel had. The beach closed, fitness and all food areas closed plus we left the property 6 of the 7 days for the majority of the day. I did not get any response from management at all. The desk person said they would talk to the manager. I was getting daily texts from them until I pushed the parking issue again and then I never received a text again.
Garbage dumpster is one of the first things you see upon arrival and each time you go outside to the desk to get your car. It was overflowing from the first day throughout our 7 day stay. There was trash on the grounds in the pool and hot tub area. The large windows in our room had hand and face prints on them and our bathroom toilet area walls were pretty gross.
The AC in our room had to be adjusted every day because it would not hold the room temp and it would get really humid in the room making the tile slippery.
I would not say my stay was awful it was ok but it was very very expensive and I was expecting a lot more for the money.

Terrible service we stay 4 days nobody clean hour room. It was bugs in hour room room wan. T ready till 6 p. M.

Homophobic staff. We waited for 1 1/2 hours for food at the restaurant while six other straight couples and their families were served. When I went in to complain to the manager, I was shocked at how filthy the lobby was, broken doors, stained ceiling and out of order restrooms. We cancelled our reservation which was a challenge with the inept front desk personnel and luckily found a room at Ft. Lauderdale Courtyard.

A very friendly and informative staff. The room was very adequately equipped, very clean and quiet. We have plans of returning there.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights. We had to call multiple times for towels to be brought to the room, the pool was not cleaned the next day when we came out. It had dirt and sand in the bottom from the previous night, took forever to get some bar service and it was not nearly as nice as the pictures. Very poor views from each room unless you have a actual front view of the ocean. The partial view you can barley see from. I stay at a lot of resorts and this one is one I won’t be returning too.

The room provided is unsafe for occupancy. I advised the front desk that the door was broken. A tech was sent and unable to fix. The front desk was unable to provide another room or a solution. Theyve tried to keep me hostage and refused to refund my credit card. Ive never stayed in a place that would allow this to happen and have no other choice but to leave.
After seeing others reviews and complaints from this page its seems they are in the business of giving people a hard time.

I HIGHLY recommend this hotel! Staff is friendly, great rooms, awesome hotel bar (shout-out to CECE), BEAUTIFUL scenery, nice pool area, and fantastic breakfast choices which is a different variety per day.

I’m currently staying at the hotel. Staff gets 5 stars. Hotel 5 stars. It’s family friendly and business friendly. I’ve had an awesome experience here. My kids love it here. Acouple tips the poolside chairs go quick like 6:45 am quick the good thing is you have the beach with cabanas. You also have jet ski rentals on the beach and the light house isn’t to far to walk. I want to thank the staff from valet to front desk to the GM for this wonderful experience.

Beautiful hotel with a beautiful view! The room is very large and comfortable with an ocean view. Pool very clean and many areas to relax and enjoy the weather! Everyone at the hotel was so welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend anyone coming to Pompano to stay here.

Hotel on the beach, friendly employees, valet parking, the rooms are spacious with full kitchen, dishwasher, large fridge and the best thing is the washer and dryer in the bathroom, I did not pay extra to take my clean and dry clothes back home.

We came for Our 16th Wedding Anniversary. We had a wonderful time great staff all in all very Good job Residence Inn by Marriott Fort Lauderdale Pompano Bch! I can’t give you 5 Stars like I wanted and the only reason is you don’t have storage for your clothes. Nice Remodel but that has to be the only thing that We think should have been in the rooms. Thank you for a wonderful time and yes I would stay here again and tell a few FRIENDS!
