Decent and clean rooms. Allows pets no charge! Pillows are cotton, but ok. Our only issues were the price, which does not match the hotel… especially when u consider the highway noise all night. There was also a party down the walkway that was really loud and didn't end until 4:30am so I may be grumpy. To be fair we did stay on a Saturday night. I would've given this place 3 stars, but they allow pets at no charge so that deserves arm extra star.

With the exception of one or two, the staff here just plain doesn't care their jobs. They don't apologize for mistakes or make an effort to make the guests more comfortable. I checked in at 1:30 AM, ready to go to bed. I get my room key and am directed to my room where I unlocked and then attempted to open a room that was already occupied. This poor guest who was sleeping was awoken by me just slamming the door into the lock. I got the woman from the front desk who then walked to the room and disturbed the person again and when the person expressed understandable anger, the staff member turned to me and said "that was rude. " No apology for me or for them. Two of the lights in the room wouldn't turn on until I switched them to new outlets. I asked the desk for shaving cream and was given expired packages of dried, old lotion substitute. I asked for a spare phone charger and they couldn't even help with that (i get that one is ehh but they could have taken collateral or something while I used the one they have. ) I asked the cleaners for extra shampoo in my room, they didn't leave any. However, they did leave the plate of obviously discarded breakfast platter with cereal and plates. I placed it outside of my room after they cleaned it at 12 pm. It is currently 7:30pm and it is still there, walked past by I don't know how many staff and cleaners. Two keys have locked me out of my room even though I carefully kept them away from my phone.

My family along with 4 other families stayed here last Saturday night and while spending time at the pool with our kids the front desk clerk kept trying to kick us out of the pool. He was super rude and it was a frustrating experience. We booked here because it was close to the event we were attending and it had a pool. When he tried to tell us he was getting noise complaints prior to 8pm, I had no sympathy. Sorry, but when it’s a Saturday night before 10pm and our kids weren’t being loud, running around, or doing anything else that was disruptive I take offense to that excuse for him not wanting to do his job. I’ve stayed at La Quinta locations many times, it was the first time at this location. I definitely won’t be staying there again. The staff is the face of the company and this wasn’t a good face. Not worth the “good deal”. Spend more and stay somewhere more friendly.

It has very nice flowers at the entrance place Trankilo to rest.

Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet area. The buildings exterior is a bit dated but the rooms are updated and comfortable. This is my go-to spot and never disappointed.

The Inn has external stairs/external elevators to get to the rooms so its not a good idea to come and stay during the winter. The rooms surround the outdoor pool area. The downside is that weather determines access to the pool. Also if the people at the pool are loud everyone hears it. The Inn has one luggage cart so if its busy you may have to wait. Other than that the rooms are stylish, nice, clean, and the price is good. No issues there.

It's not a luxury motel but that's not expected at this price point. While the exterior looks rather dated, the rooms were actually recently renovated and quite nice. Certainly the nicest $60 room I've stayed in. The breakfast was typical as it had muffins, fruit, waffles, cereal, yogurt, etc. Available. There was orange juice, apple juice, milk, and coffee available as well. The staff was friendly and even let me take over the lobby TV so I could watch March madness without waking up my wife and kids trying to watch the games in my room.

We stayed a night here before heading to the slope. However I70 is probably always as busy as that night. Their thin wall simply cannot block the sound from 18 wheelers. The breakfast only had some bread, hard boiled egg, and coffee. We wished to have some protein that morning. I wouldn’t stay here next time.

Even though I have not stayed here yet. I did request a walk through of one of the rooms with the living room. Only because I will be staying there this week. And I wanted to see it before I kept my reservations. The room was clean and smelled good from the minute I walked in it smelled good. The front desk person was so nice and helpful. It was quite. Now I will rate again once I stay but so far it got 5 ⭐ the outside is a little out dated but that's nothing bad! UPDATE: I stayed here for a week in the suits. While the house I'm buying is getting fixed my only problem was I was told I can only book for a week. Which means my house still isn't done and I had to check out. But other then that the free breakfast was nice! Breakfast girl was friendly and nice. Judy would have to be my favorite front desk person from the min I booked until I checked out. I loved my room housekeeping was nice I felt safe. I didn't have no problems at this hotel and best believe I'm be back! I will remain giving it 5 ⭐. THE only problem I had was I didn't have Hot Water much in the shower but soon as I told them they were on it! Love how they have dog areas and dog bags to pick up after your pets. And they also have Cribs at no charge! And they bring it to your room. Nothing fancy but for free it's nice! Like I said me and my dog's will definitely be back. Felt safe and welcomed the whole time I was there!

Pretty basic hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Only reason I didn't give it five stars was because it was pretty noisy. We heard sounds of our neighbors walking around and closing doors often. You are also right next to the highway which is convenient but a little noisy. They do allow pets which is great! You are also right next to a Denny's, good times and a convenience store.

Wonderful wonderful. I feel important and pampered. I love this La Quinta more than any other I've stayed at. The staff treats you like you're the most important person who's ever stayed there! Very attentive and friendly. Rooms are so clean! Take your first step in to your room and smell deeply. You'll know what I mean! Still the just affordable in the area and so comfy and cozy, it's ur home away from home. I'd be happy to put up any of my loved ones and I'd stay again. Also, they allow pets if y'all didn't know. Good breakfast too!

Wonderful staff, quick maintenance, room clean and quiet even though it has outside entrances and we were on the second floor. Would recommend it as it's a good location close to everything but not in the middle of Denver. Comfy beds (with an in room recliner) clean sheets. Big bathroom mirrors and abundant light.

I left a phone charger in the room and got a call letting us know. We swung by to pick it up and because of some miscommunication among the staff it could not be located. I figured it was my fault and no big deal. Not the first time I had to replace a phone charge. Got it in the mail along with a Kendra Scott earring my wife lost. We are so happy. Great customer service.

Love it I stay here almost every visit. The beds are comfy the rooms are Homeish and welcoming. Good location as well, the Gentleman Jack who checked me into my booking was super friendly and awesome!

It was a nice enough place that had a decent breakfast in the morning too. It was pretty hard to find, so use Google maps to get to it. They treated all our family and our dog well and the overall cleanliness was good too. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was the outdoor pool was closed and Expedia told me it was an indoor pool. If you were planning on staying here for more than a couple nights I recommend the Extra suite, which comes with a microwave and fridge.

I have stayed here a few times, and generally really enjoyed it. This time I had more down time and realized they have really limited TV channel selection and limited hot water, especially for the back of the hotel. One thing that's great about this hotel on nice days is that all the rooms open to outdoors.

The room is gross. We got here at 1am on a Friday night and called the front desk first thing Saturday morning when we noticed that our shower was full of mold. We left for the day, then came back. Our room smelled like bleach so I naturally went to check it. They didn’t get all of the mold. I’ve taken pictures. It’s Saturday night so I’m going to be sending this to the health department first thing Monday.

My wife and I are having a wonderful time here. When we told Karina at the front desk we were on vacation for our anniversary she was so excited for us. She put us in a room on the top floor with a beautiful view of the mountains. It made us feel so special! The room is clean, spacious and nicely furnished. My wife likes The large bathroom with ample counter space and the angle mirrors. The mattress is very comfortable and the sheets are soft. The building is close to the highway, but it is tucked behind some trees so it feels very private. There are several dining options right next door. Couldn't be happier with the service, the amenities and the location!

The check in staff was very helpful. They had great suggestions of where to eat and visit. The free breakfast in the morning is good, there's waffles as big as your plate and other great things to eat.

I love this location it's so peaceful in the views are beautiful the old staff was really friendly but the new manager or supervisor is pretty short and can be really rude. I stay at this location all the time and one day when I was in the area I pulled over in the parking lot to look at a map of Mount Olivet Cemetery so I could locate the grave plot of a loved one I lost recently in a terrible accident. Not long after I parked a maid and the manager came up to my car window inquiring as to what I was doing and and asked if I was staying at the hotel that day when I told them I wasn't but frequently did purchase rooms there they asked me to leave anyway. I'd only been there for about 10 minutes and and was very offended but promptly removed myself from the premises.

Nice place for a good price and they have a good breakfast. Rooms are clean and up to date. Good customer service.

All unpacked and styles in. Getting ready to take a shower and see tp wrapper and swept up dirt behind the bathroom door. OK, not nice. Continue on, and turn down bed to find the sheets had not been changed! Called front desk (this 9:30pm BTW) and guy is so apologetic. Offers me new room next door. I'm tired, I decline and say, just bring. E clean sheets I'll change it myself. He does. I do. Next day I leave for my meeting, come back to room (rented for one week), towels and dirty sheets are gon, we coffee present. No sweeping/cleaning done. So disappointed in this chain.

Some remodeling had taken ace. Friendly staff. Rooms opening to the west or towards the pool were quiet. Rooms with door opening east or north, a bit more highway noise.

This hotel has the most amazing staff! Their front desk staff goes above & beyond to make sure their guests are taken care of! Consuelo & Felicity were awesome when we had a problem with another location! They truly saved my vacation with my grandsons. I'm very grateful to them!

Convenient for staying near family. Rooms were clean. Little on higher price side for what you get, but overall location was our big selling point. Couple restaurants and grocery stores within 2 minute drive. The landscaping is great here with the trees/flowers around the pool.

Rooms are ok but my Mini Aussie had been attacked by a pit bull in there parking lot just a couple of months ago. A lot of people watched this brutal attack, including hoysekeepinh and not a single employee came over or even stopped by my room to check or even ask if he was ok!

STAY AWAY! Used booking. Com to get room for a week. Clerk (Aimee) said we had no reservation. Then chose to yell at us when we showed her confirmation number in our email. "WHY DON'T I HAVE IT THEN,! she actually yelled at us. A customer who reserved a room for a week. When I asked why she's yelling at us? She began to rant and rave that we must've cancelled our reservation. Or she'd have it. Really? Reservations are Never Wrong? Right? Quite obvious they'd given my room to someone else. And had no others. Hey it happens I wasn't upset, and after our greeting from Aimee I had No desire to stay. Instead of just saying there had been a mistake, and that no rooms were available. She chose to yell at, and blame us. A 1st, in 40+ years of traveling. We all have our moments, but if you chose to work in hotels. Don't be rude or yell at clients, over a reservation issue. Why be rude and disrespectful? My experience and other reviews tell me, This hotel is plenty busy, and some staff won't hesitate to be loud and rude, with clients, and DON'T CARE if you go somewhere else. Had to pay $160 cancellation fee to booking. Com on top of all else. For a room I never saw. And had No Reason to cancel. There are Much Nicer & Newer hotels in the area for the same rates. And I'm Sure, none of them will treat you like Aimee treated us. We went down the street and were treated like guests who mattered at the Holiday Inn Express, Golden, CO.

The service was great, and everything was mostly as expected. The only reason why it wasn't 5 stars, was because the shower tile needed a little more care. (Bleach & grout)

Usually hit this place for an overnight because it's the cheapest place close to Golden and not in Denver. It's also between Denver and the front range, too. Free breakfast is your typical cheap bagels and cereal, but who cares? It's free… just what you need to get you going in the morning. Prices are right, the motel is clean and safe. What else more can you ask for?

The room was clean and comfortable. The service was very good. They were helpful with our questions about the area and recommended places to see and eat.

Stayed in several La Quinta locations. No hot tub here, just an outdoor heated pool (other guests had their dogs pool side). The king bed was basically shot and not comfortable. I chose this hotel because of location and the name brand. I expected La Quinta's quality. The only reason I gave 3 stars is the front desk clerk was very friendly and offered to keep the pool open later than 10pm.

Very convenient to the Golden area. The outside looks a bit worn but don't let that scare you. The interior is well done, the staff is friendly, and everything is clean. Most importantly, the mattress is one of the most comfortable I've slept on. I will stay here on future trips to the area.

Room was clean, unfortunately we were facing the noisy highway. Breakfast was lacking meat/eggs but had waffles. No outlets next to bed was weird and inconvenient. Shower leaked a bit. Mini fridge/microwave was neat.

I was extremely unhappy to see a $250 incidental fee charged to my CC when I returned home from my stay. I called to investigate and talked to the manager, Amanda, who stated it "smelled like weed" and refused to refund. This was a fabricated story to take advantage of young travelers. Be cautious and also check your CC when you leave to make sure you have not gotten got!

This hotel is a really good value for what you get. It's clean and cost-effective, and the employees generally want to make your stay one of the better.

Staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was really good. One of the towels were dirty but I think it was a honest mistake. Overall great hotel for the price.

Nice room for the price. Staff was very friendly, even had a follow up call after an hour of being settled in our room. Only complaint was the hot water was a little tricky at times, but was manageable.

I know it's a first world problem but for someone who lives in hotels 80% of the year having a fridge in the room is a big deal. They lied to me about getting one for me. What kind of a hotel in the 21st century doesn't have a fridge in every room? But they could afford 4 people standing behind the counter yuckin it up trying to justify their existence.

The hotel decided to do some water maintenance work without telling us until after we checked in. The water was out all day, and then when it finally did get turned on, there wasn't any hot water. Is it too much to ask for the ability to take a shower after a long busy day? What a rip off. Not worth the money.

Im 6'3" the shower is really short. The highway noise is horrible. Beds are just ok.

No one at the front desk when we arrived. Had to wait along with other newly-arrived guests. Room was freezing. Bathroom light fixture had falllen onto the bathroom floor; wrong size circular compact fluorescent bulb in fixture. We called front desk to fix it, but no one ever came. We taped the wrong-sized bulb into the electrical connection with a spare band aid my husband had, so we could get some light in the bathroom. But then we could see the dirty grout around the tub! Water would not get hot in bathroom sink. Ugh. This place is a one-nighter.

Out of all the locations in the denver area this was one of the best. Just far enough away from the city to head to the mountains or into the city. The views are awesome and the breakfast and staff were top notch. Newly updated rooms and lots of great area to walk and see the views. There is tons of shopping and food just around the corner.

Clean room, comfortable bed, no microwave, no refrigerator, loud air conditioner that could have done a better job cooling the room. Small bathroom, no exhaust fan. I'm 5'11" and the shower head was at nose level. Also, the bathroom ceiling is around a foot to a foot and a half above my head.

Pictures are completely deceiving. Rooms are old and dirty and the smell is awful. Bathroom was filthy and gross. Highway traffic is obnoxious. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $20/nt and stay elsewhere.

This hotel has MOLD. I stayed there ab 9 mo ago and felt fine. This time around I changed rooms but still had no confort. The manager was really nice and gave a full refund, even tried helping me w finding another hotel. The staff have always been great. I wish I could give it more stars for the above, however mold will kill you.
