Reviews of Howard Johnson by Wyndham Denver West 3*
Avoid at all costs. MOLD MOLD MOLD Management refuses ALL refunds. Who cares if it is a major health concern! no star review. Wont let me post without at least one. I've contacted Wyndham corporate hoping for a resolution. Broken chairs on balcony, shower wont drain, toilet paper dispenser falling off the wall, door lock not working properly. Several other easily resolved maintenance issue. Do not go here!
I stayed here for 6 days due to a gap between housing. The location is convenient and it's cheap and allows pets. There's also a park with a few lakes and a river behind the hotel, you just have to go through the gate on the east side and follow the walking trail. However, guest service is seriously lacking. Since being here, we've seen: trash not getting taken out on a regular basis, ice machine empty and ice all over the floor, stains on common area carpets and trash all over parking lot, breakfast bar completely wiped out and not getting replenished a full hour before breakfast was supposed to be over, a very noisy a/c, long periods of time where there is no one at the front desk, staff who are improperly trained and can't answer questions or address needs… Honestly I could go on. In all seriousness, if you're just looking for a cheap place to crash with your dog, it'll do. Just dont expect to be wowed and come with a healthy sense of humor and flexibility.
Good price and location. Friendly desk staff. Comfortable bed and pillows. Some fit and trim items appear well used, but everything was functional. I'm guessing smoking-permitted rooms are on the main floor as the area by the elevators smelled like cigarettes, but the floor for my non-smoking room did not.
Room was in bad condition. Headboard had fallen and behind bed. Carpet was not fully installed and bending up at walls. Fire detector had been removed and wires hanging exposed. Room was just one double bed. Microwave and fridge were early 1990's model and tub did not drain well. Room was worth $39.99. Hotel entrance smelled bad. Despite this staff were nice… not their fault that no improvements or updates have been made in 20 years. I would not stay here again and I have low standards.
This place is a drug, criminal and prostitution nightmare! Very dishonest place all the way around. They were very rude, unprofessional, and due to this, I refused to stay here. They refused to refund my money, and the deposit. Do not recommend this place for any functioning member of society!
Howard Johnson used to be Good. This hotel should be updated for the prices presented. Neighborhood looks a bit sketchy. Although it does seems as tho there might be improvements. However you are better off paying for piece of mind at another name brand hotel.
Beds were fine, we slept good. Rooms were clean. No phone or remote control in the room. The alarm clock didnt work. No ice in the whole hotel. Check in took way too long. It's cheap tho.
Not pleased at all, beds are uncomfortable, has to be the smallest room I ever been in. The microwave is vintage for sure. Has to be from the early 1980's (Not even joking) The housekeeping is questionable because the floor doesn't look vaccumed and there is trash from the previous guests behind the fridge. I had to clean the filters before turning on the AC. As with any hotel room I always check these because It's rare that you find these cleaned as often as they should be. These were by far the worst I've seen in a long time. However, on a positive note the lady who checked me in was very pleasant and helpful.
Older building. But it's kept up really good. Love the fact that it has a restaurant attached to it. And behind it is a lake wich you can enjoy. It has a trail you can take walking, running or even bike riding. You can sit out there and read a book in peace and quiet. If you get a room on the edge of the hotel you'll get a balcony. Which you have an awesome view of the mountains. And for more convenience there is a gas station with a diner attached to it accross the street.
I want to do everyone a public service before you book and pay so you don't get blind sided by the time you check-in. So before you check in they will charge you an extra $100 deposit that is refundable when you check out but if you check out too late they charge you an extra $20. Check — in time is @ 3pm but you can check — in @ 1pm the earliest for an extra $20. this place is not 420 friendly which should be after all the money you dish out to stay. This place is pet friendly but no cats, their rate is $25 per dog per day but if you have a long stay they pro rate the pet cost I was under the assumption the price they gave me for me for my 2 dogs was $150 total but it was $150 per dog. Breakfast here is quite sad they have an attached restaurant here but couldn't compromise something with the restaurant to provide a better breakfast, all there is for breakfast here is coffee if you're lucky to get it, orange slices, frosted flakes or raisin bran, waffles, powdered donuts, toast or bagel, apple and orange juice that's it. they don't even have a phone or coffee maker in the rooms, but you do get a fridge and microwave.

Average motel. It should be a bit cheaper.
Well it’s not the Grand Hyatt but it IS CLEAN! It does have large rooms with coffee pot and microwave — also staff is nice, at least when I’ve gone in the last two years about 5-7 times they have always been really great! Place well take cash or card with 100 deposit and it is refundable! I was good here no issues I will stay again cheapest hotel on this side of Denver.
Watch out for this place they will rip off every dime you have. We stayed there for 3 days and the last day the plumbing backed up in the tub and toilet and the rip off manager stole $1000.00 out of my bank account. They said it was for water damage that their plumbing caused. I have never been ripped off like this before and the manager seems to think he can just go into anyone's account and steel their money. This theft has caused me to lose my trailer and almost my job. These people are straight up thieves so stay as far away from this place as you can. They are greedy money hungry people and will do anything for a buck, even rip off their customers.
Do not recommend. I booked a king, when I got here they told the room was no longer available. I said, ok, well 2 Queens would be ideal. He kinda snapped they don't have Queens, their full size. Whatever. THEN, this little *$#@& said it'll be an extra $20. Seriously?! I wasn't happy but whatever, I'm tired and want to relax/sleep. Then he tells me they require a $100 deposit. Again, seriously?! By now I'm losing patience and his attitude visibly changed. Not much but I could see it. So I get to my room, ON THE 4TH FLOOR, go to get some ice and… The ice machine doesn't work. Nor does the one on the third… Or the 2nd… The only one working is in the lobby. Boy, it's a good thing I'm not tired. Called the corporate #, nice, but not overly helpful. I will never, ever, ever (did I mention never? ) Stay with Howard Johnson again. I will also make it my personal mission to warn people about the con job this place runs. If they do end up making it right, I will update, but I'm not hopeful.
So we get to the hotel we check in they require a $100 deposit, they gave way the room that we actually had reserved, and charged an extra $20. When we went to go get some ice all the ice machines are broken you have to go all the way down to the lobby, From the 4th floor, to get ice. We were also told that they serve breakfast but we have to eat it in their dining room we can't take it back to our room. The TV picture is fuzzy our fire alarm churped for at least an hour before anybody fixed it. The phone in the room doesn't work this place is overpriced and a terrible terrible value. Most of the stuff that they do have doesn't work or you have to pay for it and they're prices are high. I wouldn't recommend that my dog sleep here.
It is the worst place with worst costumer service I've ever been. The room is very dirty and smell cigarette. Me and husband booked for 9 days. My husband had headache because of the smell, and we changed our minds and asked paying the cancellation fee to check out early, but they said payments are non refundable after the hotel booked. Unfortunately, there is no this policy in their website. I would not recommend this place.
It's always my pleasure, staying here, at the Howard Johnson Denver West Hotel. I couldn't ask for anything more, than what I already get from this place. And, the Staff here, are very helpful, in any event a Traveling Business Man, like myself, would ever need. Thank you, Wyndham. And, of course, just as any other Hotel, that has been in business for many years, dealing with unexpected travelers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, upgrades to the wear and tear, are and, will be always needed, and, they do the best they can to keep up with it, which is, all a person can ask for, respectively. Have a very nice day, and, God Bless.
This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. When my daughter tried to take a shower the tub was plugged and in trying to unplug it she pulled some of the foulest looking and smelling black gross slime, a drug baggie, and a cigarette butt out of the drain. We put it in the trash can and then took pics. I took the trash can to the front desk where the front desk lady was at first sympathetic and tried to get us a new room but they had nothing available at the moment. She asked me to wait a couple hours and she'd get back to me. Four hours later I still had heard nothing so went back to the front desk where she acted as if I'd been the one at fault, still didn't have a room and told me there was no manager until 2 days later. When I contacted the manager and requested a refund he told me no and then had the audacity to offer me another nights stay at a 10% discount?! I called the corporate office who told me they'd get back to me and to this day 1 month later I've heard absolutely nothing from them or the hotel.
Had an amazing breakfast. The rooms were small but very nice. Was always able to get clean towels and cups.
Nice quiet stay. The rooms have been recently remodeled and look great. Cozy and comfortable and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Best of all they allow dogs!
This hotel is located in a rather sketchy part of West Denver. The outside of the building doesn't look too awful. The inside is a little run-down, and the front desk clerk was a little short with us when we arrived. Our room was downstairs, and smelled quite strange. The room door did not shut all the way, so we had to rely on the latch lock to keep it shut. The bathroom was right inside the door to the right, and the sink was OUTSIDE the bathroom door. And since the room door didn't shut all the way, it was little uncomfortable to sleep in the room. I would not come back to this location again.
I had a bad experience with an Asian person who is at the front desk is racist and gives very bad deal.
I'll give my rating for the 5th floor and not the first. My first night was on the first floor and was a dreadful experience. After my spouse said something to the clearly we where moved to the fifth floor where everything got better. Great view, clean room and an all around great experience from then on.
Don't waste your money! This place has down graded quickly! Bud bugs or what they refer to as BB's were on the bed… bed sheets not washed after last guest, we found a dime under the blanket. Door was broken and they knew about it telling us to use the other two locks on the door. I sliced open my hand and had a nice gash from it. Refused to give back any money but did put us in another room where the toilet and shower were broken. Can't smoke anything on balcony. I will never go back to this overcharged, bug infested, worthless employees motel again!
Stayed 3 nights. Front desk was efficient if not overly friendly. Place is a bit run down and smaller rooms. But right near several highways so easy to get around. We were in town for a concert at Pepsi center and had an awesome time. The restaurant is pretty good as well. Only stopped by once but enjoyed our meal. Ordered 2 appetizers and 3 meals with sodas was just under 40 bucks.
We were there for two nights at a decent rate and when we went to extend for another night they asked us to check out and checkback in later that evening… When we came back they wanted us to pay almost double our original rate… Rip offs…
The staff was nice, the hotel location was convenient. The only reason I have to rank the hotel low is unfortunately I found a bed bug in the morning crawling on the sheet. Hopefully this issue is resolved. I would recommend leaving all your items on the luggage rack to prevent spreading to your home.
Went in for pricing to possibly stay the night. As we walked in the desk clerk walked away… for about 10 minutes! We were getting ready to walk away ourselves when he returned. We asked the price of a room. And he told us that it would be about $130 after taxes. When I pointed out that the Howard Johnson's site advertised the same room for $75 + tax he told me that it was wrong. Then he told me that I would also need a minimum deposit of $100 even if I was paying with a credit card. We went to a Motel 6 in a much nicer neighbor hood and played way less.
For an older motel, we had a good stay. Rooms were clean and it was quiet. Very good continental breakfast with all the basics. Good Vietnamese restaurant on site. I would recommend this to travelers wanting a comfortable, convenient place to stay.
Didn't expect much. Out was cheap and I needed a place to sleep. No ice machines worked, you had to go to the front desk. The room smelled like rotten soy sauce, but I think it was that the furniture was recently stained, as the smell was really strong when you opened the cabinet. Other than that, nothing to write home about. Not bad for a place to just sleep for a night, but I would pay more for something better if I needed an extended stay.
If you just need a place to sleep and money is your main concern this is the place… But the Ritz it ain't! It's clean enough… This is a low budget Hotel. NO FRILLS! No Frills will be found at this Ho Jo's. The rooms are small and old… But clean enough… There is a restaurant in the lobby… There appear to be some long term residents. It's is what it is… Not bad defiantly not great…
Breakfast was very limited and the smell of cigarette is unbearable.
The room was little and the bed was old.
Building A little rundown, room was a bit better than the rest of the building. Flat screen, cable had bad reception, no lounge. Lots of security cameras. Had to sign waver stating we understood there was a fine and temoval from property for smoking marijiuna anywhere on property. You could however smoke cigarettes in the rooms and the building reeked of it! Oh yeah!
Room is very nice. I moved from smoking room to non-smoking room, OMG it's perfect. I like the way staff treat to us. They are very nice and helpful. We will come back for sure.
My sister and I rented a room for a concert at Red Rocks. We just needed a place to crash somewhere close to the amphitheater. Reading a lot of reviews I see bad experiences, that was definitely not the case for us. You get what you pay for, it was definitely a shabby, smelly hotel but it was also $50 a night. I couldn't hear my neighbors, the staff was friendly, check in and out was painless and there's a Pho restaurant in the building — major perk. Sure, it was seedy and gross, but a great deal, 15 mins from red rocks and good enough. That's all I can ask at the rate. Plus a gorgeous view from our window.
Liars and Crooks! I called to cancel the room right after I booked it online. The guy told me it was no problem and said I was all taken care of. 2 days later I see there is a charge from Howard Johnson's on my account. I called them up and they denied that I called them to cancel. I have the call log on my cell phone and told them the exact time I called and they still denied that I called them. They were uncooperative and rude. These people are liars and crooks. I hope Howard Johnson corporate is paying attention to your business practices and your extremely poor reviews and terminates there contract with you and pulls their good name off your sign.
We checked in at 4 pm and we found our room with the door open and totally trashed. They must not have gotten to it yet so that isn't a huge deal. I let the front desk know that and they said apologized and said itd be ready when we returned later in the evening. When we returned they STILL had not cleaned the room. The front desk told us there was nothing they could do because their cleaning staff was gone for the day. They gave us some clean sheets for one bed in a two bed room. I do not recommend staying here unless you want to clean your own room.
I stayed there on 06-18-16. The lady working on Saturday was great. The other 2 guys. One that evening and the one that morning were terrible. They have a problem with giving you extra towels, bathcloths, etc. I asked for a roll of toilet tissue that morning. He didn't even wanna give me that. Its not a bad motel in general but the foreigners that work there are rude. I will never stay there again. To all truck drivers if you need a place to stay don't patronize this place. They don't need our money.
I have read many of the reviews for this hotel and I was a bit sceptical about staying there but it was a very pleasant stay. I stayed in a balcony room, 502. There were no bed bugs as one guest said. The front desk people were very nice and accommodating. The breakfast was displayed nicely and free. The room cost is less then the other hotels in the area. This hotel has many people who live here but that's because Denver is booming and they can't keep up with building enough housing for all the people moving here. This family run hotel is very great for the money and even though it's old they are remodeling and doing a great job. I recommend this hotel to any traveler or business person. It's not a vacation hotel but still close to many sites of interest. I will stay here again and recommend this hotel to all my friends. I felt a lot of the negative reviews were just lies because I experienced nothing of what was written. Great job to My and Man and Jeannie and Tim, they run the front desk and couldn't be nicer.
My wife and I went to Colorado for vacation. I asked my wife about booking a room in a hotel, she requested to book a room in Howard Johnson hotel because This hotel is in Wyndham group. We checked-in this hotel. We do not have anything to mention because it is so perfect. They just remodel and everything in hotel is really well. They have continental breakfast (free). It is simple but it is healthy and taste delicious. For sure. We will come back if we visit Colorado next time.
Staff is nice. They are good people. Never had any problems with the three different rooms my family and I stayed in. I really love this place. Thank you HJ staff.
The room smelled awful. The bed sagged nearly a foot in the middle. Not impressed at all. Worst hotel stay I've had in years. I'll never stay here again. Added one star because the staff was nice. The hotel was terrible, though.
A 3 week stay was long enough to see things most overnight stays miss. Most of the front desk staff were frequently away from the desk and unreachable by hotel phone. When we could find them it was usually a bad experience. One lady, with blue hair, rudely refused to explain or remove a $300 unauthorized charge to my daughter's card that occurred only a few hours before and on her shift. She first screamed at us that she had no idea how to fix it, and last she screamed at us, " Don't worry about how I fixed it! In between all her yelling she continued to refuse to contact management or the owner by slamming the office door among other rude gestures. 2 people ended up leaving late for work before she decided to undo her unauthorized activity! Altogether there are so many issues that this HJ is one of the worst hotels I have visited.
Very comfy beds and pillows. The rooms are small but not bad. The hotel itself is decently nice, but the management is bitchy and rude. I was charged an additional $50 (on top of the $50 safety deposit) and the front desk manager got extremely defensive about it when asked. The next day I was refunded the price of the room (NOT the safety deposit discount) and then charged a SECONDARY charge of $50, and then credited my bank account $1. I never authorized any of these three transactions. My guess is that they refunded me $1 to keep their crime at petty theft instead of grand theft larsony. Sketchy hotel overall. Wouldn't be surprised if they had bed bugs, but my current place of residence has bed bugs, so if they do, it didn't faze me. Overall not worth the time and effort put in to stay there at all. If I could give it 1/3 of a star, I would.
Sleep in your car. A gang operates on the 5th floor. We went to our room on the 5th floor and interrupted a brawl that broke down a door and left a man bloody and unconscious. Dead fish in the fish tank, elevators dont work (and there are no stairs), all washers and dryers leak. Dried blood on the walls. This hotel is LITERALLY straight out of a horror film. Police officer said she comes here weekly. If you want breakfast in the morning you are better off going out back and trying to catch something in the pond.
Gross bed bug invested hotel. I read the reviews and thought well its not a 5 star hotel so I don't expect it to be perfect. We paid $210 for 3 nights. When we got there, the room was TINY and dirty. The sheets hadn't even been washed, the lights and fridge were broken. We complained and they gave us a suite. The suite was also SUPER TINY. We inspected it and found bed bugs in the 2nd room. So we left again and they gave us a 3rd room. The 3rd room had cigarette buds in the trash can in a NON smoking room. There was something gross in the bathtub so this room had clearly not been cleaned and there were dryer sheets in the beds. We complained again (3rd time in about 30minutes). And they assured us the room would be cleaned in the morning but that they were unable to issue us a refund. So we paid over 200 and didnt want to stay but they wouldn't give us a refund. So at 11pm we just decided we needed to go to bed. The next morning we found bedbugs on the comforter. TWO rooms had bed bugs and all 3 rooms were gross and had not been cleaned! And they refuse to give us our money back! Even the manager said the owner is cheap and refuses to fix anything. Never ever staying here again.
VERY IMPORTANT! My husband and my 11 months son and I stayed in room 132 on wed March 2nd and when we woke up Thursday my son was eating and got his spoon stuck under the couch. When we lifted the couch up we found a meth pipe, a scale, a straw and baggies. I left his spoon there got him out and took pictures. I went to front desk to get refunded my money and show them. Nothing was done. I called the cops and made a report. This place should be condemned! How many other rooms are contaminated with methamphetamine. The house keeping is obviously horrible along with front desk and the GM.
DO NOT STAY HERE! … one of the worst experiences of my life. Run by a Chinese family franchise from Howard Johnsons. I booked with my credit card for 3 nights. They charged me for one night. (did not know this). Extremely small smelly room, wet carpet for the price of 81usd/night… go figure. Came back after skiing the next day and found all our belongings in trash bags and they had cleaned the room. Complained to the manager, usual rubbish, he said the room was rented but found out later it was not rented. They lost two plants we had bought in the nursery the day before + some small electronic equipment for my laptop. Cannot understand how they can throw you out when they have your credit card on file… and all our belongings were in the room… Anyway, they charged me 50.00 to clean the room. Was told by the customers there, this is the way the make an easy 50 usd, its a scam. Complained to my credit card company and Howard Johnson corp to solve the problem.
Please do not start at this establishment! We're stayed and our first night they put us on a room that was filthy and have food left in it. It took 3 hours before they have a new room. Once we moved we immediately had issues. Our toilet did not work we contacted them about that. There are bed bugs! The manager jenny is extremely rude and would not in any way accommodate us. The toilet never got fixed and all she said was 'I'm busy come down here and get the plunger yourself " who says that to customers?! We're told her that we have been feeling them from days 1 and that we would have left had we not needed the location. She denied all accounts of our complaints stating "i doing have any complaints from you" we told her to talk to the employees My and Wan Tran. She refused. We told her about the bed bugs and how we told both make employees about them. She again denied this time saying that "they never have had bed bugs" Which we found false as the Jefferson county health department baldies that they have had MULTIPLE reports and proof of bed bugs. I feel Jenny here is not doing her job whatsoever and is not taking the complaints nor the welfare of their guests seriously. I don't see how they are still in business. We got no help, only rudeness, and they repeatedly hung the phone up on not only us, but Expedia when they called to advocate on our behalf. Thank god Expedia has compensated us generously. Howard Johnson will too thank god! So sad!
They closed breakfast early. So, I asked for a single carton of milk as they were still cleaning. They refused. Than they tried to charge me twice for my per deposit. Rooms were kept poorly. And the manager/owner was the individual who denied me the milk and tried stealing a second deposit. I do not recommend this hotel and wish there was a lower rating.
First room I got put in had a huge leak in the bathroom that was right over the toilet. They moved me to a room No lie. It had bedbugs… I got bit all over my arms. Then they moved me to another room with a broken heater. And charged me like ridiculous fees for God knows what. Will never go back within 50 yards of the entrance.
I was absolutely disgusted with this hotel and had it not been raining and late at night I would have seriously found somewhere else to stay. First of all my wife and I walked in and it smelt like cigarette smoke in the front lobby. I asked the lady at the front desk if this was what the whole hotel smelt like and she looked at me like I was an idiot and said that she didn't even smell any smoke but there definitely was. As we walked up to our room, we smelt smoke in the hallways. The single queen room was VERY VERY tiny, the bathroom was right when you walked in the door and then the bed was maybe 6 feet away from the door and that is including the entry way to the bathroom. We ended up transferring to a king bed room which was a lot bigger but it was still gross. The lamp shades were busted up and just had cloth in them and not the light reflectors. My wife took a shower and went to use the blow dryer and it didn't work and actually fell apart. We went down to the front desk to see about getting another one and they wouldn't give us another one and left my wife standing there with wet hair. There were burn marks in the sink in the bathroom and weird looking marks or dents on the bathtub. When we took a shower, the water didn't drain very fast and left us standing in about 5-7 inches of standing water in the tub while we were in the shower.
My friend and I booked a room smoking on. When I got in this hotel, it is so beautiful. Every one is so friendly, I got in my room, it smell very well with smoking-room. Every thing in my room was arranged clearly that I really it. Also the restaurant in this hotel is so delicious. I have to come back again.
I stayed in this hotel 3 days. It is so perfect. The hotel was remodeled last month. Every thing in room is so great. The front desk guys are friendly and help me a lot when I needed their help. I feel comfortable when I stay here. I will be back for sure.
Look people you want a deal? This is a deal way better then some hotels I've been to. Obviously its more long term stay so everything that comes with that if you want immaculate pay more. You want non smoking pay more. You want pristine service pay more. You want a deal this is a fantastic hotel for the price. Those that complained stay in your car next time see how that works for you. As for me I will be a frequent customer here as I travel a lot.
They have taken a deposit of $50 from me. I checked out on October-13 they reverted it back. Again they charged my credit card $50 on October-22. When I contacted them about it the front desk guy told me that 4 pairs of towels were missing from the room we stayed so they charged for it. Seriously after one week they charged me with that but honestly we did not take any towels from the hotel. I was trying to explain it to them but they were so rude and hung up phone on me several times. Worst customer response from the front desk. The rooms are also not that great the ac is old like from 1980's TV is there but no use of it because you will not get any channels on it to watch. This is a gimmick played by hotel to cheat customers shame on you Howard Johnson.
I had planned a vacation to Colorado and the plans changed the night before, so I used Hotwire for the first time to get a good rate on a room. I got a very good rate for the Howard Johnson Denver West. My needs were simple. I just needed a bed to sleep in and a place to keep my luggage. My room was clean, had a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, cable TV, shower, and everything worked fine. It was a pleasant stay and the room had everything I needed plus more. My stay at the Howard Johnson Denver West at 12100 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO was pleasant. I do know that I will use a different method when booking a hotel at the last minute, but the one mistake that was made was not the hotels fault, so I can not blame them. If you do not book a room directly with the hotel, don't be surprised or blame the hotel if things get messed up.
The worst Hotel EVER. My Husband and I checked in October 3rd and It took 30 min for the check in. We got our room keys to the 5th floor and walked into our room and was greeted by a man DEEP CLEANING some nasty stuff off the floor with what smelled like bleach. The man told us 10min… We go back down to the front desk and ask for another room. We get our new room keys and head back to the 5th floor. We walked in to our new room to a nasty smell, stains all over the floor the beds looked like they had just been slept in. NO THANK YOU… The only good thing about this hotel is they were happy to give us a full refund…

I booked on line thinking getting deal at $90 but when arrived thought otherwise. Poor lighting around the place was a not safe looking place. Completely dark on the back side. Was able to go into the emergency exit to get in the place looking for the front entrance with no type of security for the building. Then our room was the worst I have been in. The bathroom facet to was running and could not be turned off. I went to turn on air conditioning and the casing around it fell off wall plus the vents were full of mildew so I did not want to turn on anyway. Then I went to a take shower and shower curtain was taped up and fell down during shower. I almost fell getting out of the tub because the tub is at a higher level than the floor. The phone in the room did not work so my son went to complain in person. I then tried to check for bed bugs but because their seams on the mattress is black that made it almost impossible to tell but they did have extra cover over mattresses. I was told there was $100 deposit for the room when checking in and I did not want to be responsible for the damages. Hotel host came and inspected room with me in pj’s. She did move us to a better room and took pics if my complaints. The new room end up having bathroomon each side. One bathroom had soaked carpet so called to tell them. They were going to move us again but off to another place. It is now 1 in the morning so told her just forget it will not use that bathroom.
