In a beautiful romantic castle, that is a little bit haunted, you can experience the hippest neighbourhood of Denver. Downtown is in walking distance. This hotel is perfect for an intensive weekend trip. Chris, the owner takes very great personal care of his guests, and will reveal the secret of this castle during the evening reception at the bar. I will gladly return when I am in Denver.

We stayed the night on Friday 5/28, in the DaVinci Room. Our room was very spacious, and clean. The stained glass and fireplace were so beautiful. We really loved the breakfast Saturday morning. The service was wonderful. We had a couple of conversations with Chris, the owner. He was so nice and knowledgeable about the history of the house. Overall, it was a great stay, and we'll definitely be back.

It was just ok. The building is beautiful and rich with history, but it was overpriced. Our room had a balcony that was unusable due to construction. We were so disappointed as this was a main reason we chose The Royale room. There are only 3 parking spots on the hotel property. All other guests need to park a block and a half away in a city parking lot that is shared with the homeless. The ice machines were out of order. The rooms do not have thermostats, so when the staff leaves at 7 pm there is not a way to adjust the temperature. The morning that we checked out, we received an email that we would be charged for $55 for 3 pillowcases and a king sheet, as there were blood stains on them. This is ridiculous. I asked them to send pictures of the ruined sheets, but I have yet to receive them. At a total of $800 for 2 nights, we were very dissatisfied with The Patterson Inn. We've had better experiences for less money at other places in Denver.

My daughter and I stayed here over Mother’s Day and it was a wonderful stay. The staff and owner Chris were awesome! The Patterson is beautiful and charming not to mention the history of this Inn is astounding! Loved it!

Staff was amazing throughout our entire stay. From reservation, to ghoulish happenings throughout the evening. A very "personal" experience. We will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff for providing such a great experience. Cheers.

Stayed at the Patterson Inn this past weekend for our anniversary. Drove down from Cheyenne, WY and had a great time. The staff was amazing. Took care of us and was great to talk to the Innkeeper about the history of the house. I believe her name was Erica, my apologies if I got that wrong. Stayed in the Biltmore Suite and learned a little about Mrs. Katherine Patterson. The breakfast was amazing! We are planning another trip very soon to stay in a differant room!

Beautiful hotel, comfy bed, close to food, bars and breweries. Love the historic feel. Staff has been very nice.

The hospitality was amazing. The rooms were beautiful. The fact that the place is haunted put the icing on the cake.

One of the best Inns I have ever stayed in. The place is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. I will be back.

This place is fabulous! Beautiful rooms, amazing history and a warm and welcoming staff. Breakfast was out of this world and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Scott was especially helpful and had lots of information about the house and area. Definitely will stay again!

Had a great time staying there! close to Halloween too! The town was really decorated! Wonderful bed with the best fluffy pillows and comforter! And great breakfasts too! Happy Hour is a great idea, Met some ladies and we all went out to dinner. Very good for a single traveler. Close to everything.

This place is amazing! The rooms are elegant, clean, unique, and mysterious. The breakfast is delicious. I have stayed here 4 times in different rooms and was lucky enough for the ghosts to show up twice. Well worth the money.

We had a great time at the Patterson in. Truly a home away from home. Fresh breakfast in the morning. Wine and warm cookies in the evening. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We never wanted to leave.

My wife and I stayed at the Patterson Inn on our wedding night (May 20, 2018) We stayed in the suite called Prague. This bed and breakfast is so beautiful! The staff is also so helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make sure we were able to stay there given we were going to be arriving many hours after checkin. The next morning we went down and had breakfast. It was freshly prepared for us. It was delish! The homemade granola is out of this world… best in the world. The hotel is so clean and charming. You must plan on staying here!

I can't say enough about The Patterson inn. We make a point to stay here every time we come to Denver. Every room is immaculate and so well done. The staff is above and beyond, and all together, it makes for the perfect experience. Highly recommended.

The place is a castle. I was booked here for a business trip, and boy was I surprised. It was just breakfast and a night's sleep, but I'd come back with my family. The care given from the staff and the attention to detail made the whole experience charming.

We had an amazing time here for Christmas! Michelle was so wonderful making sure we had everything we needed. Each of the staff made sure to make us feel right at home.

It was a fun place to stay within walking distance of many shops and eateries. They were very accommodating and nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and different each day.

Absolutely loved my stay at the Patterson Inn! I was traveling solo and arrived around 1 AM but staff had my keys and check-in info ready on arrival. The next morning I missed breakfast but they still whipped up one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had! The room/bathroom was spotless and bed was a cloud. Would definitely stay here again! Note: Don’t freak yourself out with articles about it being haunted. Turns out I had the whole place to myself that night and didn’t hear a peep!

Great location in walkable neighborhood. The rooms are great and the staff goes out of their way to make the stay wonderful. We have stayed here a couple of times in the past and hope to return soon.

Great walking distance from cafes, coffee, grocery stores. The State Capitol is half a mile away, with the Denver Art Museum, Public Library and other attractions also nearby. Clean rooms, unique hotel with historic feel. Fresh breakfast in the morning with good customer service all around.

Very warm and personal welcome by the staff. This is a special, historic place. Stayed in the Da Vinci suite: very spaceous, elegant, personal terras. About 20 minutes walk from downtown/convention center.

This is the first time we decided to splurge a bit on a hotel, and not disappointed at all. We have never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and the Patterson definitely made it worth while. Gorgeous place, and the Prague room was absolutely breathtaking and I have fallen in love. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Elegant, comfortable, unique and quiet. Prepare for an incredibly romantic and private stay! The area is surrounded by beautiful old houses and great eats. Shops and coffee are close and there's something great in every direction. Gorgeous breakfast service! I adore the clawfoot tub and breathtaking views of downtown.

There is no way you could possibly have a better stay than at the Patterson Inn. We just had the whole place for a wedding and it was PERFECT. The Inn has a warm and open feel. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Big shout out for the bed and pillows! Rates were fair and the staff are terrific in every way. Each staff member is personally interested in the guest and their stay. Very nice. If you like breakfast, this is the place. Patty cooks a breakfast that is over the top excellent. Lots of variety and they are more than willing to help with any dietary restrictions. Not only will well be back, but I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Denver!

Beautiful and historic inn lovingly updated to a truly luxurious B and B. Best I have ever stayed in. Michelle was totally awesome, a quintessential inn manager with a ready smile and beaming personality. She knew so much about the area and radiated love of what she did. All employees were fantastic and breakfast was gourmet and healthy. This is the only place I will ever stay when visiting Denver!

Staff is amazing, room was top notch. Michelle in particular was very accommodating, I did have an issue with my TV which she saw was resolved quickly. It is a bit out of down town, which is both a plus and minus. But it is like staying in a beautiful house as opposed to a hotel, the included breakfast was amazing everyday! If I come back to Denver I would certainly stay here again! I stayed in the Library, room was great, bathroom tub had jacuzzi jets and was great to relax in at night!

Attended a wedding there, my friends rented out a small bar space and courtyard. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The courtyard looked like a scene straight out of a movie. Everyone had an amazing time!

This historic mansion has painstakingly been restored and offers a really interesting view into the past of Denver. It looks like a very interesting place to stay. I visited for Doors Open Denver and would definitely go back to have drinks in the basement or stay in one of the rooms.

This B&B is incredible. Michelle and Susan are so welcoming and they do so much to try and make you feel at home. I particularly loved the breakfasts in the morning (gourmet, healthy, and DELICIOUS). I also loved the happy hour down in their "Pub" from 5-6 in the evening. They served a great Pinot Noir and little snacks. We stayed in the Library Room, which was really spacious and had a giant tub. I felt like I was staying at a luxury spa when I was in there. The location is perfect. You are so close to Capitol Hill and downtown. Also conveniently located to so many restaurants, bars, and a Whole Foods. This is my new favorite spot in Denver and we will be back. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

Beautiful building and a pinnacle of historic Denver. The room was very beautiful and accommodating. We stayed there on Halloween night and I am continually shocked that it is not booked out months in advance. Too many have yet to discover this gem and it must be enjoyed by all, whether you are local or visiting. Parking is provided for you and the location is perfect to check out local sights. I got a coupon through their email list so be sure to subscribe.

My husband surprised me for our wedding anniversary this year by booking a two-night stay over the Labor Day weekend at the Patterson Inn in the Capital Hill area, which is near downtown Denver. What a lovely surprise! This historic building (a National Landmark) is a gem of a building that has been newly refurbished. Our room was clean, tidy, and well appointed. The decor of our room – The Library – was an affectionate nod to the CLUE board game, with its dark wood furniture, bookcase headboard full of classic books, free-standing wardrobe, and nick knacks (a revolver, a knife, and a wrench). Even though I had looked at the photos online, the room was much larger than I had expected. The breakfast, which was included in the cost of the room, was fresh, tasty, filling, and had a European feel. Each day’s menu included fresh fruit; croissants, butter, and jam; a meat and cheese tray; and a freshly made entree. Those entrees included waffles, quiche, and egg strata. Those things plus a choice of teas or coffee and a local newspaper rounded out the breakfast experience. The area where the Inn is located is vibrant with lots of foot and bicycle traffic. Both evenings we walked around the neighborhoods and felt very safe doing so. Several restaurants are nearby (6-8 blocks away) as well as a Whole Foods grocery store and a 7-11 convenience store. Finally, I would be totally remiss if I didn’t mention the staff at the Patterson Inn.

My boyfriend, Raymond, and I had a wonderful night here. The Patterson Inn is very accommodating and quiet for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was delicious and the wine hour was the icing on top :).
