Oakwood at Broadstone Gardens at Cherry Creek Apartment

I have been here since December of 2017. This is a really nice community to call home. The management team wants to see it's residents happy and works hard to make this a pleasant place to live. Corporate cares about this community and invests in it's success. The maintenance is top notch-responsive, experienced and just plain good at what they do and happy to help the community. The community is in a great neighborhood location and is family and pet friendly. And the neighbors are nice! Thanks much to Jessica, Chiana, Mike and Payton (and the rest of the team) for making the community a nice "home".

The best apartment shopping/move-in experience I have ever had. Jessica and Payton were swift and concise in getting all my paperwork approved and the move-in process started. On top of that they accommodated my last minute needs of having to move in that same weekend on a Sunday. Even though the leasing center is closed on Sundays they made sure to have someone available so I could move in. Not to mention I absolutely love my unit here, top of the line appliances and great floorplans at an unbeatable price for the location! I am thrilled with my new home.

DO NOT RENT this place. Nothing works here. I’ve been here for more than two month now and pool has not worked even a day (! ) It’s freezing cold and still hasn’t been fixed. It’s mid summer already and the biggest amenity is not available. I have a young child and we cannot use the pool because it’s freezing. You still pay for it tho :) I heard from neighbors that it’s been broken since December 2017 (! ) wow. Also, hot tub was broken for the past 2 month (if not more? ) and they just replaced the heater — now it’s incredibly hot and you literally cannot get in. Cannot use it anyways! My child almost got burns from it. Is in this a safety issue here? What is wrong with this place? Why can’t just all be done right? That’s why do yourself a favor and do not rent here. They have one grilling area with two grills. One of the grills doesn’t work. Other one is half broken — you need to use your own lighter to turn it on. Wow. Also, there is no trash can in the grilling area (! ) how is that even possible? Btw — you can tell that grills haven’t been cleaned for years… so filthy, yuck. Common areas are dirty. The club room by the pool is the filthiest of all of them. My sink/ disposal has broken down already 4 times. I’m predicting it will break down again in the next week or so. They keep fixing it but wouldn’t replace. Very disappointed with this place.

Highly recommend living here! The building and amenities are top-notch, reasonable price for the area, safe neighborhood, and excellent management staff. They are always cheerful and ready to help out.

After living at Gardens at Cherry creek for 2+ years now, I do feel I needed to change my initial 5 star review. The management/sales team (Jennifer & Quiana) are extremely friendly, proactive, quick to respond & helpful. We appreciate them tremendously. BUT there are issues with the building that would've deter me from moving here had I known ahead of time. The "year round heated pool" was a huge selling point for us. Unfortunately throughout the winter the hot tub was broken and or closed down for months at a time. Now in June, not only is the pool filled with bugs, pollen & debris, we actually found cigarette butts in the filter basket yesterday. The heater has been broken for months & the pool is uncomfortably cold. The hot tub does not work at all. While hoping this is resolved soon, this issue has been present for Months and we are now finding ourselves in summer months of 90+ degree heat, unable to comfortably use one of the main facilities. Disappointing to say the least. We hope the Connor Group will be more proactive in hearing the complaints of residents and finding a solution to this problem immediately.

Update: Thank you for the copy and paste response Justin G. In order to find a solution, a call or email to me from the staff would be the most effective, not a response to a Google review. Cons: Terrible management company, pool and hot tub have not worked this entire year, lack communication, they do not notify you when packages arrive to the main office, need to ask multiple times to get a maintenance request completed, utility bill is expensive and you are required to pay $45/month for valet trash. Pros: Garage parking and location Luxury apartments are a dime a dozen in Denver; look elsewhere and you’ll be able to find a management company that will provide all the services they promise. Since The Connor group has taken over this property the amenities and services have severely lacked and the price to live here has increased. Very disappointing!

I just moved to an apartment here and thought I’d write a review out of appreciation and being happy overall. I just moved from or of state and Brooke made the process to easy to manage and really was a main reason I chose the apartment complex. Additionally she really respected my requests out of what I wanted in an apartment and helped me find the right one. The planting is beautiful and it’s dog friendly! It’s also in one of the most convenient locations in Cherry Creek!

My experience from the beginning has been excellent. The team in the office is awesome. During my move, they bent over backwards to help me. Jenifer was especially helpful during that time. Maintenance staff is also great. I haven't had any real issues yet, but any questions or small favors I ask, Mike has been extremely helpful. Great place to live!

My husband and I moved from Houston, Texas over three years ago and have lived here the whole time, the management and staff has changed over many times. Its an okay place to live, there are definitely some things that could be improved, so we are seeing how the new management tackles these projects. I would suggest coming to the property and walking around, see if its a fit for you. The apartment complex location is perfect, walk-able to Cherry creek bars and restaurants also very close to the hiking/biking trail. The amenities of the complex are great, the gym equipment is all higher end but are starting to show wear. There is a rooftop deck, a patio deck with grills and a large seating area. There is a pool house, pool, hot tub, ping pong table and lots of televisions and seating areas around the complex. This place is also VERY dog friendly, there are impromptu play dates and always cookies in the lobby for when they get back from walks.

After moving from the NYC Metro, The Gardens at Cherry Creek is a breath of fresh air. Literally and figuratively. Jessica made the original move-in paperwork very easy. She was VERY quick with follow-up and she's a darn good salesperson to boot. Qiana has made the actual move-in process upon arrival and afterwards seamless. She's been an excellent resource and I'm comfortable reaching out to her about any quirks or small needs that I may request. Brooke has been super helpful on a number of occasions too. The team works hard to ensure that everyone is comfortable and warmly accepts any feedback or constructive criticism, which is appreciated when you know it's a new management team and you may have suggestions from what worked in past buildings. I love my floor plan and layout. Tons of room for an affordable price. The parking is very good and I'm looking forward to better weather to take advantage of the roof deck and pool/hot tub. :)

The new management the Connor group is so much better than the old group. The staff cares about me. Jessica the property manager is great and the leasing office always takes care of any requests promptly. The maintenance staff is top notch. The location is perfect — everything is convent and cherry creek north is just a quick walk. Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

After living here for over a month I can proudly say I am happy with the location. The leasing office made it a breeze completing all the paperwork making it easier on me with my cross country move. Brooke will go above and beyond along with the rest of the staff in building. Do yourself a favor and join our wonderful community here at gardens at cherry creek.

So here's the irony — I would rather pay more and be Happy than pay less and not be. Crazy Huh? But therein lies the truth. I was living at a well known apartment complex in Lowry for 2yrs — And overall the service started off acceptable — You see in Denver, some of these places act like they are doing you the favor by allowing you to live there, no incentives, no negotiating, no specials on the rent… just take it or leave it, and every year the rates keep getting ridiculously higher. And I took it all right until I couldn't anymore — I had seen the gardens before when it was owned and operated by another company where I received a frigid reception… This time the Gardens of Cherry Creek, now owned and operated by the Connor Group, had Jessica, who moved to Denver from Austin, with her smile, southern charm and pragmatic and sincere approach to everything. She was able to work with me and my budget for what I could afford. She was able to work with me in terms of when and how I needed to move since I was doing it almost completely on my own. I can't tell you enough how unique and quirky my place is… and while I know it's an apartment, I actually look forward to coming home. A Few Tips… 1) I would suggest like me… try and get the mountain view… Simply breathtaking to wake up to that. You are walking distance to a ton of stuff. 2) Opt for Garage parking during winter months.

I love living here! The management and staff are extremely friendly, there are countless useful amenities, and I feel a very strong sense of community here. It is also very pet friendly, which is a big plus. Lastly, the location is perfect (centrally located in Denver) so it is easy to get to wherever I want to go. Amazing place to live.

I love this beautiful and extremely pet friendly community. They even just put in a dog park. We enjoy taking our dogs on a walk and seeing all the other dogs. There are a lot of trails and recreational activities nearby. I think there have been a lot of improvements with the new management including adding new flooring in the halls. It is a wonderful, family friendly place to live. The units are very spacious and comfortably laid out. I would recommend the property to families, singles, younger, and older renters.

I have lived here for a few months and I really love the location. It's central to everything and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you ever have any issues they are right on it. Parking is great and my neighbors are all very friendly. Theses apartments are spacious and the new owners just put in new floors, landscape and much nicer paint job on the outside. Great job guys!

We have been living here a little over a month now and love it! We were relocating from Kansas City and basically had a day of looking for places to live in Denver. Brooke made the transition and move-in process very easy for us and was very communicative during the process. All maintenance issues have been taken care of very quickly by Mike. The ongoing upgrades to the buildings are looking great!

We love living here! We’ve been here for over a year and have had an overall great experience. Parking is safe and underground and storage space is offered on site as well in the underground parking area so you don’t need to store items off site. The pool is open year round and always heated, the community rooms are gorgeous, the lobby also feature a small kids corner which is great to get out of the house and escape to on cold days (with kids). There is an amazing espresso machine in he lobby available 24/7! I could go on! On top of the amenities, the leasing office and maintenance staff are professional, prompt and personable. Brooke (at the front desk) is amazing, she is so sweet and knowledgeable. We can always count on her getting back to us regarding an issue or question almost immediately.

I moved into the Gardens at Cherry Creek about a week ago, and it's amazing! My boyfriend and I relocated from Kansas City to Denver and Brooke (leasing manager) made the entire process a breeze, she was very communicative and worked with us to get the space we wanted within out budget. The underground parking is a huge plus for the winter months, and the location is close to everything you could ever need. We had one small maintenance issue on move-in day, and we had a maintenance person fixing it within an hour. I am super impressed with the management and the property overall, very happy to be here!

My daughter and I are current residents at the Gardens at Cherry Creek, and we really enjoy living here. Our 2-bedroom apartment is spacious and modern, boasting high end finishes that certainly make our space feel luxurious. The amenities are awesome — we especially love the rooftop garden, the year-round pool, and the community common areas. My daughter loves that there's even a kids area she can play in. The location is perfect and allows us to walk to some of our favorite Cherry Creek restaurants and stores. The staff is also great, and they're kind, responsive, and courteous. Highly recommend!

We moved to Gardens at Cherry Creek in August, during a change in management — Still the application, move-in and paper work went smoothly. We are very pleased with this apartment building and all it has to offer. My husband and I live in a one bedroom with a flex space. Honestly, this does not feel like a one bedroom, because of the spacious and modern architecture. The finishes are of very good quality, equipped with marble-like counter tops and modern sliding doors, to preserve space. The building offers a very nice swimming pool with a hot tub and well looked after outdoor furniture. The barbecue area is equipped with good quality grill and nice furniture, always very neat and clean. The gym is spacious, has new equipment and is always clean. It's always pleasant to go grab a great coffee in the lobby and being greeted by the friendly, helpful staff. The area is perfect for anyone, it offers great restaurants and fantastic hiking trails — I would recommend this apartment complex for anyone.

My wife and I are current residents in a 1-bedroom floor plan, which has a flex area used as a study — This 1-bedroom has more than enough space for both of us to do our own thing. The property has a great location — Within a relaxing 15 minute walk of the Cherry Creek mall and the beautiful 3rd Avenue shopping district, one could not live closer to the buzz, but yet far enough to experience the zen feeling of family and safety in a residential area. Great facilities which includes a year round pool and a fantastic heated spa tub to unwind after a long day; or if you don't want to get wet, there is a zen garden on the roof overlooking the mountains. The leasing office has a very nice coffee machine which is open to residents free of charge; which makes delicious lattes; there is also a range of teas available. The gym is very well equipped, but the complex is also right across the street from a 24 hour fitness, should you need more space to exercise. BBQ area is very neat. The staff is always friendly and willing to help. I'll highly recommend this property to anyone!

My wife and I have lived here for about 6 weeks and we couldn't be happier and we absolutely love our apartment. The facility is well maintained and very comfortable. Brooke, Amy and the entire staff are very friendly and accessible and are ready to help however necessary. I would not hesitate to recommend The Gardens of Cherry Creek to anyone looking for a good place to live.

Zak and I moved here with our little puppy and everyone is always so helpful and caring. We have never had a problem with anything while living here! Such an amazing place to live in a great location!

Lived here almost two years, great clean apartments with awesome leasing office, especially Brooke. Lots of amenities, great value, and nice area.

The reason I put 5 stars is because we have had no long term issues here and we love the amenities as well as the apartment layout. I read the reviews before moving in and since then the apartment has had a management change and they new management has been great. They are very kind and have dropped everything when I have asked for help. Any issues we have had have been fixed quickly and made a priority. The location is great and surrounded by a neighborhood, so it is quite and plenty of street parking just outside for guests. My wife and I have fully enjoyed living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a caring management and modern living.

Moved here from Southern California a year ago and this place was quite the property with updated furniture, finishings, appliances and fun amenities. The price we paid back home to what we get here is night and day. They even allowed my startup to work in the business center for a few weeks till we found our new office. Sabina, Michael and the rest of the property management team are a delight. If you are looking for a place where entrepreneurs, young professionals, young families and social individuals live… Broadstone Gardens of Cherry Creek is the place.

A year later, my comments are still true. Thanks so much to Chandra, Sabina, Michael and Charles for making my home life easy and fun! Just a quick note to share a few thoughts about living at the Broadstone Gardens in Cherry Creek. I love it, the managers Chandra and Sabina are awesome, they actually care about me and the other residents. They are quick to fix something when it breaks, are always happy and cheerful and have begun an amazing social program with events once or twice a month. When I moved here a year and half ago this was not the case, management was non-caring, everything took what seemed like months to fix and they let the property go to hell. With Chandra's leadership the property is looking better than ever and I for one am grateful. Please, please, please Chandra keep up the good work here at the Broadstone Gardens!

So I have lived here for almost a year now and I love it here. The office team is amazing and they are always available to help. I haven't had any issues with my apartment and I always feel safe at home. After a long day at work, I just want to come home to a quiet area with few issues and this is the place. My neighbors are nice and quiet and I don't hear anything major inside my apartment. The community has package lockers so I am able to get my packages at any time throughout the day or night. The office team is great about throwing resident events and making it feel like a community. They have had bingo night, breakfast events, beer swaps, and even offsite events. My floorplan is amazing and I have tons of room and love the built in shelves and mushroom locker. Unlike some of the other posts my doors sliding doors stay open and close and add an added benefit of choosing whether I want an open or closed floorplan. If I had to pick one negative thing about the community that I would change it would be the Valet Waste — being so close to the trash chute it is very easy to take the trash out. Parking is super nice in the garage and being from the south and coming here to deal with the snow the temperature controlled ramp into the garage made it awesome since no snow built up. The location is nice too. Close enough to get on Colorado Blvd, but also close to a park to walk and take the dogs out.

I moved in about 2 weeks ago and haven't had AC yet. Been around 86-87 degrees in the apartment since the first day. The manager is very nice and so is maintenence unfortunately being nice doesn't get the AC to work. This is the only problem I have had so far and if it wasn't for this AC problem, would have rated this building much higher. It seems that it will be fixed tom" phrase keeps coming up and I have hardly slept in 2 weeks. I can't understand how leaving your tenants in 86-87 degree temps is acceptable. It's hardly a livable condition. This is an issue that should have been fixed before allowing my roommate and myself to move in. Cmon broadstone gardens youre better than that. Sincerely, Pissed off.

One of the biggest pros to this apartment complex is the location. You can easily walk to Cherry Creek for food/drinks and can bike to Washington Park/downtown within 20 min or so. It's a little loud if you are outside due to Colorado and Alameda but not horrible, I cannot hear it at all within the apartment. As far as the apartment itself, I really like the modern feel. Haven't had any issues with appliances or something not working correctly. The common areas also have a very modern/downtown feel that I like and have always been kept clean. The workout room is fairly small but people are rarely in it and it has everything you need. I do like the benefit of the cardio room for exercises like box jumps, jumping rope, etc. I wish they had more community events. I've lived here a few months and I rarely see anyone and people don't seem to be that social. At my last apartment complex they had monthly events and I think this place should as well. My biggest issue are all of the "hidden" charges that I've never had to deal with at an apartment complex before. There are a lot of "common area" gas, electric, water, etc. You even have to pay for valet trash even if you don't use it which is completely stupid. The "valet trash" is them taking it from your door and walking down the hall to put it the trash room. So whatever you think you are going to pay a month, make sure you add to that because it's not going to be the final price.
