It was an old motel but surprisingly comfortable and clean. I would come back.

Quite old and a little rundown, but it has a great homey feeling. Relatively clean, nice sheets and well kempt. I didn't use the pool but it seems nice at first glance.

Half of the outlets don't work. Wifi never worked and the toilet was broken.

Good conditions and clean and the price is really good. Compare to the rest hotels…

Up beat employees with top notch customer service. Really clean and food was incredible. Next to shopping and casinos which is perfect.

One of the best things about this place is it's proximity to Harveys. The decor in the rooms can give you a sense of 1985, while the furniture reafirms the year (1985) it's dated look and feel only adds to the over all charm of the lodge. The continental bfast is decent but a bit awkward being that it's spread out in the managers living room A few times I've stayed there for under $80 but the majority of the times it's closer to $110.

Nice location with good price. Older motel and temperature got unusually warm at night but clean beds and bathroom, free Wi-Fi and simple breakfast. Staff was very welcoming. I'd definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone that is on a budget.

TV signal, while digital, reminded me of the analog era (with bad signal), walls are paper-thin. Office was closed in the evening, so no way to ask for an extra pillow or some help to work the flush out. The swimming pool was drained. If all you care about is the price and the location look no further, else avoid.

Room is a bit outdated, though spacious. Main reason for booking is that there are pet-friendly rooms. Location is close to a beach (less than 10 min walk) and to the heavenly shopping area. There are also a few casinos within walking distance.

Fantastic value for money! Large clean rooms, very friendly staff. Pool is large and clean. The location is fantastic, a short walk to shops, beach and bars. Although close to everything, it's very quiet. Beds are comfortable. For the price we paid we couldn't expect any more…

The rooms are cozy, beds are nice and sqishy, heated pool. The motel is less thn a quarter mile from the lake, and you get free access to the private beach during your stay.

This place might not be the best looking or recently updated but you get what you pay for. The staff is friendly and amazing. The hotel is close to everything I mean everything. Walking distance to the lake and downtown! Definitely not a place for those that just want to stay indoors and never go out. Highly recommend for those that just need a place to sleep after exploring beautiful South lake Tahoe!

We only went there to meet friends, but there were lovely people working there, and it seemed like a really well run basic motel that still had cheapish ($120) rooms for a really packed out holiday night in Tahoe.

Great location. Sits right below the big casinos. You are surrounded by pine trees and just a few blocks from the Lake. With free passes for the beachfront. Great manager. We will be coming back.
