Green Lantern Motel Hotel

Demolition Frost, but at least no bugs in the room. Room itself also not really clean. The first and last time here.

Worst experience of my life! worst customer service! the guy ran my card and gave us the key to our hotel. We get to our hotel and it was a complete DUMP. We walked right back in to the hotel and he would not give us a refund even though we did not sign any paperwork and nowhere did he state there was no refunds. So I get my bank to speak with the front desk and take the transaction off, and without my consent they charged me once more! I would give this place a zero out of ten.

At first impressions this motel is clean and some effort has been made to keep it kept up and look nice. The A/C works as does the TV. The bed though was not comfortable at all, springs in the back etc but I guess considering the price range that may be something you accept. If you actually want to sleep I'd suggest spend a little more if you have that option. Bathrooms are small and very dated, walk in shower only. Basically the bare essentials. We were looking on short notice and booked here online. The windows also werent lockable so dont keep any valuables there if going out for the evening and the room smelled like bleach when we walked in so draw your own conclusion from that.

I found a needle above my shower around the rim of this cheap metal frame when I was walking into the shower. Thank god there was a cap on it. I am not kidding! I am considering taking it down to the indian guy who manages this place and demand a refund but there are no places with vacancies nearby. I should have spent 40 more dollars and booked harrah's because I feel like i'm going to get mugged walking down the street; this inn is located not 2blocks (like the guy said) but 6 blocks. Oh and there are NO LIGHTS, and run down and boarded up motels along the way. This place or any near it IS NOT SAFE. Stay on the main street. I am not making this up! Besides that, only 1 light works in this motel, the shower was built for a midget with the nosle at about 4' 6", as the water sprays out at the speed of light at such a low volume it feels as if i'm standing in a hurricane as the water stings my face. Everything about this place is cheap and I didn't mind until I found a fk ing used needle hiding in the exposed frame of the shower! The shower is one of those detachable ones you see in a mobile home and looks weird in a normal bathroom. And it seems that you can hide stuff in the frame, like your used needle! Oh ya, if you want ice, it's across the street. There are no cups except for this dixi cup and the ice box is tiny as hell, oh you want to use the garbage as an ice container?

Its very nice and clean motel to live in and have great service. I definitely would like to go there again.

If you are short in cash but still want to get away. This is a nice cozy place to stay. Its a couple of mins away from the Harrahs and Harveys. For what I spent I think it was worth it.
