Lots of ants in my room. Breakfast room was filthy and candy/melted ice cream on stairs.
opened bed to find dirty sheets, went and helped myself to clean sheets from store room.

The best thing about the hotel is it's roof top one get to see the whole of city view and Arabian sea. I was overwhelmed with the staff as they showed a great gesture towards us. The food was delicious. There were no points to complain about.

The hotel is the best hotel I ever stayed in. It was like you go for and back to the hotel and you get the homely services. The hospitality is best I ever experienced.

The location of the hotel is great, the rooms are spacious and luxurious. The exterior of the hotel is under some renovation, The most enchanting feature is the Cloud 9 Restaurant which gives the view of the Arabian sea on one side and the City on the other side. Value for Money.

Can't believe a good apartment like hotel located in the heart of the city just walking distance from the Tajmahal hotel and gateway of India at an unbelievable price. Parking is a bit issue … but can be manageable.

Byfar the most modern hotel we stayed at in India. The front entrance was under construction, so we couldn't find it at first. It was a little frustrating that we spend 100$ CAD to stay here and there wasn't even a front entrance… if we had known we might have ended up staying somewhere else. The rooftop patio was absolutely gorgeous though and the bed was the most comfy in anywhere we had stayed. There was even a shower curtain, which was the first place in all of India that we stayed that had one.

Hotel rooms are really good. But since a major construction was going on the entry to the hotel was quite bad to give a bad impression of the hotel. But the rooms are real good and the view is amazing.

Place is good. Spacious. Good ambiance and services is good. Bit costly as is placed next to Taz.

Good option to stay in reasonable rate… I liked the open terrace breakfast with amazing view of Mumbai!

Amazing boat club here. Watching boat race is huge amount of amusement and fun. The event held is wind surfing. The boats surge ahead on wind force, is truly a majestic sight. Events for the Major competitions like the Asian Games and the Common Wealth Competition were held here. Huge participation by all competitors. Entry for members only.

A good hotel in colaba with comfortable beds and clean rooms. The rooftop was a great place to sit and chill.

Visited here with my family and stayed there for 3 nights. We stayed 3 in a room. The room, beddings and bathroom was very neat, clean and spotless. The hotel stafd was very nice, prompt, courteous and helpful. The room service was quick. The breakfast buffet was simple and tasty. The breakfast items were very good. Daily few different items were changed. Toiletries can be much better. Overall very good experience and a definite recommendation.

Nice place to stay with good location, rooms are specious with all standard amenities in the room, the hospitality was at its best, definitely recommend the hotel.

Not Good for Europeans or western country people. But good for Gulf Country people. Apart from rooms Gulf Country tourists might getting something extra from Godwin Staff.

It was nice experience at hotel godwin. They are providing nice hospitality services. Cleanliness is the best thing I liked.

Pros — The suite was amazing — super spacious and modern, and includes a bluetooth massage chair. — The breakfast is served on the rooftop patio — really gorgeous! Cons — There were living, crawling ants in my bed when I arrived. — The front desk kept questioning my friends and I if we were sharing rooms or not, even though we kept telling them we had paid for our own separate rooms. I feel like some trust could be given to your guests rather than defaulting to mistrust. Also the police came to question my friends because they had a Pakistani passport which is absolutely ridiculous.

Ok standard. Service is basic. Had staff who seems to be untrained. Location is good. Food OK.

It was a fine hotel. Not amazing but good. Really great location though in Colaba.

Utmost unprofessional staff ans so are their behaviour. Go there only coz of the ambience at their rooftop cafe. Food was decent.

Bad, bad, bad. Rooms untidy. Only one small lift. Staff unresponsive. House keeping manager not effective in overseeing cleanliness and meeting guests requests, e. G. It took over an hour to secure towels and a hair dryer. It's embarrassing when the entire staff comes out seeking tips upon a guest's departure when the very same staff are ineffective. The renovations have deteriorated, wallpaper is peeling. Plus aircon is fixed at 16 degrees! Not recommended!

All the staff member are very good in nature and always ready to help. They put some extra arrangement on arrival day it was really surprising. The Rooms are neat and clean. Thanks alot to all of them making my stay wonderful.

Bad hotel in terms of behaviour, room quality, cleanliness etc. Lift doesn’t work properly. Rude behaviour from staff. Lack of maintenance. Congested floors. Broken amenities in room. They use normal filtered water inside Bislery water jar. Really terrible. Location is good. That’s enough, nothing else. Poor standard hotel. Old property.

The Hotel is nearby causeway market, so location wise, 5 points out of 5. Rooms were pretty clean and tidy, with some good facilities provided like fridge etc in Deluxe room. Overall an awesome experience.

Our family totalling 11 members stayed for 3 night/ 4 days during this month from 11.5.2017 to 14.5.2017. This hotel & location both are very good, staffs are polite and professional, rooms are big and cleaned, complimentary buffet breakfast is very good, roof top dine is awesome. They give equal importance to internet/third party booking and direct hotel booking guests. I will suggest this hotel, as this is also value for money.

First 3 days I enjoyed a lot but after that there service got down day by day. Overall good but not best.

Actually haven't stayed at this hotel but every time we are in Mumbai we always visit for an Indian meal — the most amazing Indian food served on a beautiful roof top restaurant and terrace.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Godwin and would definitely stay again. Great location, safe neighborhood and easy walk to the waterfront, Taj Palace Hotel, Gateway, shopping and restaurants. Stayed in 8th floor room, basic but clean with a wall of windows and gorgeous view. Room included two twin beds, a safe and a blow dryer. The roof top restaurant and bar was the perfect place to be in the evenings with beautiful sunsets, good food and service. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel welcome all the time…

It is good place because of the great location and Arabic food is available behind the hotels also the market and Indian gat is close only five minutes walking and save place.

I was staying next store at the 2 star Garden Hotel and Godwin hosts their creakfast which is quite a variety of Indian fare, delicious and pleasant.

A bit passed its 'use by' date. Staff were helpful, Location quite good.

STayed here in April 2009. Very impressed and great value for the price.
