Very clean. Friendly staff.

They remembered us from April. Very friendly and helpful. Shower didn't drain and moved us to another room promptly. Will stay again next time we are in the area. Downside is no pool.

Staff was friendly and inviting. The rooms were modern and fully furnished. My one complaint is that the room wasn't fully cleaned; long, black hair was present in the shower when we arrived.

I highly recommend the Comfort Suites, the staff was friendly and our room was perfect… Bed so comfortable and Pillows were just right. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. It made our stay memorable.

Rooms were clean and comfortable and reasonably priced. Simple breakfast was included. Service was a little lacking as they appeared to be extremely understaffed.

Nice contemporary design on furniture and set up of room, very comfortable and modern.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Good news if you have visited within the last year you know there were issues with their restoration. Their restoration is now finished the rooms are remodelled (very nice), and there are now plenty of spaces and their garage. Best thing about this hotel is that it is one block away from the light rail. So you can save at least $100 is a night staying here and then taking the light rail into downtown San Jose rather than staying in downtown San Jose.

Nice, clean rooms — spacious and comfortable. Friendly staff. The breakfast is ok. The shuttle wasn't working, so the hotel paid for cab fare to the airport. So nice!

The staff are so very kind and considerate. There is no doubt, I will be planning my stay with Comfort Suite San Jose Airport again, they are truly amazing! Thank you Fahad and Hitesh, I truly appreciate all your help!

The customer service is personal and far above expectations. They truly want to make sure you have everything you need and your stay leaves you wanting to come back. Very centraly located — good free parking on site.

Stayed here while in town for business. Rooms were adequate, beds were comfortable enough and the free breakfast was sufficient. Would stay here again.

Nice rooms, very little parking. Maid didn't make up the bed just took out towels and trash. Not a big deal but not what we're paying for.

Bathroom floor had toilet paper rolled up, you know, what happens after you wipe. Tub drain was broken. Dirty sheets in the dresser. Floors not swept. My toiletries disturbed but the bathroom counter had not been cleaned. My bed was not made, microwave and refrigerator had old food stains. Emergency evacuation information underneath wet bar countertop, inside the cupboard. Not sure what was under the night stand, looked like a used condom. I could go on, I took pictures because I didn't think anyone would believe it.

Nice room a bit isolated. Not much around within walking distance. Dinner was from the snack bar…

The tub was dirty, the computer in the business center did not work, printer at front desk was not working could not get a receipt. Worse hotel experience ever!

This is a good budget place. Staff is courteous and helpful. They offer free parking and free Wi-Fi. They have a great location, not far from downtown and not far from silicon valley. The rooms are spacious and have big LED TV with cable. They also have coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge. They however do not provide microwaveable utensils or any utensils. You can pick disposable plates and cups from the dining area at any time. But if you want to use microwave, bring your own stuff. There is no dishwasher in the room. They have a laundry room for guests, usual bring your quarters. If you do not have detergent then they also have a mini convenience shop. 7-11 is at walking distance. They have a fitness centre with 1 oldish treadmill, 1 oldish stepping machine, and 1 weights training station. No dumbbells. No fresh towels. Breakfast is everyday from 6:30-9:30. Same spread … Only sausages and scrambled eggs for hot selection. Cereal, fruit, bread, cupcakes, yoghurt … All budget brands. Whole place has maintenance issues. I don't think anyone cleaned up fitness centre for the 2 weeks I was there. Ice vending machine was broken a couple of days. Bath tubs are dirty, air conditioning filters have not been cleaned ever. Windows have transparent curtains so if you can't sleep with sun out, too bad. Housekeeping is also poor on most days. Overall an ok budget stay but not great.

The room was nicer than I expected it to be: lots of space, comfortable bed, and clean. Breakfast was adequate, wit a waffle maker. The parking garage was small, and if they were booked it would fill up fast. There icemaker broke on the last night of our stay. Wi-Fi was intermittent. If you are looking for a nice room on the cheaper side near the airport, and don't care much about amenities, this is a good place to stay.

Only one accessibility room. It was dirty. Moved to a regular room. It was dirtier. Then moved to a third room. It was dirty also. Still fighting for a refund. Not a usual Comfort Inn experience. I am so disappointed.

One of my friends stayed at this hotel, I did not. However, we picked them up and dropped them off many times. The parking garage was small and difficult to get in and out. My friend reported the breakfast was very basic, but that was expected. Compared to other hotels on the row, the comfort inn did not appear to be the worst.

Clean, quiet, very convenient to airport. Inside free parking. Was excellent for quick overnight before early flight.

Great place. Convenient location. Near airport and on VRT line. Free covered parking. Rooms were clean, modern, quiet, and had hood blackout curtains.

Reasonable price and convenient location. When I stayed there, it was noisy outside in the midnight because of the guys playing music loud in Denny's parking.

From my first phone call to make a reservation, Pritesh Mistry, at the front desk was a delight — helpful, friendly, informative and kind. We stayed here at the beginning and end of a long trip and found the rooms to be well appointed, newly renovated and clean. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was well done, with many choices — hot to cold. We would happily stay at this hotel again.

Receiption was unfriendly. At 15hoo we had to wait 1hour because the room was not clean yet and smelled bad. Very unfriendly main entrance. Only a few towels.
Totally the opposite of the Comfort Suites in Sacramento. Will never stay there again and will discourage others to do so.

Hotel lobby, lift and room not clean. Room was not ready when we arrived. Room smelled bad. Total different to Sacramento Comfort Suites where everything was perfect and clean.

A good hotel for short trips. Nice breakfast. But rooms require renovation.

I reserved online but I didn't know that parking space was limited. The front desk told me they are not responsible for the parking. Smh. I have no where to go but to accept it anyway! I gave 3 stars overall because their wall thermostat couldn't be adjusted to my desired temperature but their room was neat and clean. Room.

Hotel is older but kept up and clean. I felt safe and secure. The free breakfast is great and facilities are nice. Front desk staff service could use some work.

Don't be fooled by its unassuming exterior. The place has very accommodating staff that are eager to meet expectations. The most important thing to me (after security) is cleanliness… and the rooms felt almost brand new. Would stay again.

The worst stay I've ever had… the room we were given was filthy—food caked onto the sink in the kitchenette, trash left in the cabinets, wasn't vacuumed— it was terrible. When confronting the front desk, Ali said there wasn't another room available and that we would receive a refund. We followed up 10+ times after we left over the course of 3 months and Ali kept assuring us it would happen and we never received any refund.

The first room smelled like a wonderful combination of stale cigarette smoke, mildew, and urine. In my opinion there are two Quality Inns near San Jose downtown that are nicer, cheaper, and have better management.

Hotel was being remodeled, so there was a lot of work that needed to be done. Hotel was very quiet, just needed to be updated.

Comfort Suites in San Jose felt reserved with my first impressions, but I found out that it was great as I stayed there for a few days in my trip. It's a simple hotel with nice housekeeping, friendly staff, free service to the airport and somewhat accessible thanks to the nearby VTA station at Gish. It doesn't have much attractions in its nearby area, unfortunately, but the hotel in itself was comfortable enough that it didn't matter. It's definitely no 5-star hotel in the middle of downtown, but that doesn't mean it's dissatisfying.

Parking is a challenge, rooms are clean and big, like the micro and fridge! Overall great value.

On March 5, 2012 we checked into the Comfort Suites San Jose Hotel. We had reservations for Monday through Friday (4 night) as we were in town to visit family. The room was adequate, but we needed to keep a towel over the A/C to stop it from blowing directly on us. The daily complimentary breakfast was so pathetic (the coffee was almost undrinkable) that after the first morning, we walked next door to Denny’s instead. As for parking, as someone else posted, it was terrible with hardly enough parking spaces as well as not being secured. On our last night, we left a wake-up call for 3:00 AM Friday morning, as we had an early flight out of the San Jose Airport. As we planned on getting up so early, we were in bed and asleep by 9:30 PM Thursay night. Suddenly, after 3 uninterrupted nights of sleep, our clock-radio alarm suddenly went off at midnight! We were woken up out of a sound (and much needed) sleep. Being awakened out of a sound sleep and groggy, we tried to fix the alarm, which we DID NOT set, and therefore had no idea how to stop. So we called the front desk to ask what to do to turn the alarm off! The girl at the front desk (who said her name was Anel) thought our situation was very funny. That was NOT the response we needed and we told her so. Her only answer was for us to unplug the clock-radio, to which we told her that we needed a clock in our room so we would know what time it was. She thought that was very funny, too!
