Stayed here two different occasions, proximity to the boardwalk is unbeatable. Very nice owners. Rooms were always stocked with toiletries, tv, mini fridge, disposable cups and plates, microwave, plenty of storage for luggages. Favorite thing was the small bedroom in the back with the cool folding doors and it's own fan and lighting plus a window that shows some pretty purple flowered vines. Had some great memories here, and have been told the same by my elders many years ago.

Marie, Bonnie and I enjoyed this venue. Loads of fun and free parking too. Only ball I found with holes big enough for my fingers was 14 pounds. Think I would have better managed a 10 pound ball. Still, we enjoyed ourselves.

Conveniently located close to beach. But shower wouldn't turn on and had to have maintenance try to fix in middle of the night while my children were sleeping. They used the bath. Wasn't allowed to check in til late afternoon. I requested early check-in on reservation. Polite staff. But rooms need work. Real work by qualified plumbers.

Convenient location and good price in the off season, mid May. Friendly manager, clean room, mini fridge, microwave, 27-32in tv. No iron or hair dryer though. Overall satisfied with our stay.

Close to the beach, The Boardwalk, bowling alley, the wharf and other Santa Cruz Attractions. Not far from shopping and downtown… It is an inexpensive motel, and you get what you pay for, but I have definitely stayed in worse, in town. Not bad.

Great little motel for the price in Sta Cruz. Greatly enjoyed my stay.

Clean large rooms with toiletries. Unfornutely the neighbors were very loud at random times throughout the night and morning. The location is perfect two blocks away from the boardwalk and amusement park.

Bathroom was clean and beds where comfortable. It has a limited amount of parking spaces but it was big enough to fit my van. Free Wi-Fi for one device at the time. Front desk staff are pleasant and talkative, Im sorry I forgot there names. Its with in a perfect walking distance from the warf and boardwalk.

A nice motel to stay for one night. The décor is a bit older but very good in shot. It was very clean. The value for money has been right. Hence four stars.

Saving over $150 from hotels two blocks away is big plus and one block away from the main Arcade. But if you come to say here during party central time. It's not worth your stay. Also the Wi-Fi is non existent here, you will using your cell data.

Nice place to stay. But not very clean. Sticky rugs, and a hair in the shower that was not ours. And there was a lot of toiletries. Like 10 bars of soap.

While the decor may be a little dated, the room and bathroom were very clean and somewhere I was very comfortable staying. The location is second to none and, being on a steep hill, the motel itself has a real character to it. Plenty of parking and no Wi-Fi issues where I was. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location. The room we had was small, and the interior was very old and worn. Queen bed, but holes in the blanket. The internet was very unstable.

Next to the boardwalk and dont have to pay for parking. Owners are very nice. Also walking distance to down town with restaurants and nightlife.

Awesome location. No need to pay for parking as you can walk everywhere. Expect a 50 dollar deposit. Clean and simple. Nice people at the front desk.

Old hotel but for the price and the location it was great. Takes about 3min to get to boardwalk and the beach. The floors are hardwood so the sand was an issue. It was everywhere. But they were nice enough to lend us a broom for our stay. Which was much needed.

Only a block away from the boardwalk! Super convenient. Our room was nice & very clean, but unfortunately it had a VERY strong chemical smell that left my throat burning. We left all the windows open with the fan on & 8 hours later the smell was still just as strong. Won't be staying there again for that reason.

True definition of a crash pad. The place smell pretty bad. Deadlock was broken in the walls were paper thin. The bathroom was dirty in the shower clogged. Located conveniently close to the boardwalk, however, that was about the only good thing going for this place. Bottom line, there probably wouldn't be very many options that wouldn't be a better choice in this place.

It is nice for the price. The hotel rooms aren't mind blowing but they are good enough to stay at and enjoy the boardwalk.

Very close to beach and boardwalk very quiet. Our family enjoyed our stay.

I cant say enough of the this hotel. The owner was so helpful with my messed up online reservation that it made the whole start of my vacation even better. The room was just what we needed an was clean and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance of the boardwalk and between the free parking and and the excellent service I wouldnt stay anywhere else when I come to town. Thank you.
