Room was clean and bed was comfy. Room with 2 beds was slightly small but shower was small as well. But overall the room served its purpose for a 2 night stay. We enjoyed the pool area and the front desk clerks were extremely helpful with giving us extra towels. We would stay here again.

I and my wife Sarah found the room clean upon arrival and daily when returned in afternoon. I found our ground floor room along with stand in shower with ADA handrails helpful. I found the front office and room staff friendly and caring asking how our stay is and towels we may need.

The property was perfectly situated and the grounds were Beautiful. The whole staff was so incredibly helpful and nice. Christina at the front desk (I think that was her name) deserves a bonus. She accommodated my request for a room change to the back of the property since I was traveling with my pups. She didn't even hesitate once I explained why I would like to move. She took great care of me and my family all with a smile on her face and a customer service focus in her actions. This was a GREAT visit for us thanks to Motel 6 and the AWESOME Team at this property!

Very good experience, rooms very clean. Staff very nice and attentive. The only thing missing in the room was the coffee maker but they do offer coffee in the office area. We left pleased. Thank you M6

Good price. 3 gas stations right out the driveway. Freeway also right out the drive way. Gave it a 4 star is beause there's no refrigerator inside the room.

ALL aspects were good. The clerk, room, location, housekeeping, site location, cleanliness, other guests. Your advertising on Google maps is the only negative thing, $112 advertised at $70, really? No one will buy that it was a mistake. I will stay again.

I only stayed one night. The accommodation is very "Spartan" for the $140+ nightly rate. Understandably, this property is located just 10 miles SE of Santa Barbara, but one would think that at that rate the hotel could afford more comfortable beds and better quality towels. Other than that the property was safe and the room was clean.

Sheila did an excellent job of greeting our party at the front desk, and she worked hard to make sure that our room was ready on time and just right. She was very good at keeping track of everything going on in the motel, and answered all our questions with a smile. The room was very clean and Kay gave us a friendly goodbye at the desk when we checked out. I wish we could have stayed through the weekend, but the room rates were so expensive that we had to leave and head home early.

The location was very convenient. The room had everything we needed and it was clean and uncluttered. We liked that there was laminate flooring instead of the usual carpeting. The only real minus for the room was the water in the sink never got hot or even warm. We will likely stay at this motel again. Next time we'll ask for a different room, one with more interior walls because the highway traffic is continuous and sometimes loud.

I must say this motel 6, has been my best experience at these establishments. The model looks… Im digging it. The rooms are spit on. Good bob guys. And thank you, for the night over.

I enjoyed my stay at the Carpinteria North Motel 6. The staff in the office were outstanding, couldn't have been friendlier. The room was clean and tidy. I would have rated all 10s except I missed having a hairdryer. Is that amenity not standard? I'll remember next time and bring my own.

I have stayed at many Motel 6's and always was happy with my experience. My son walked in and booked the room and told them I was handicapped and needed a bottom floor. For two days I tried to call the Motel 6 from Nevada to add an additional day and could not get through on the phone lines. I contacted Motel6 online and other motel-find sites requesting help contacting the motel and none of them could get through either. When I arrived, I found the person at the desk very unaccommodating. I was alone with a lot of luggage and she kept directing me to rooms that could not be accessed by a car. I would have had to carry my luggage a great distance. Finally, I was offered the handicapped room. And, that worked out. Except, the phone did not work and I had no Wi-Fi… something I had ordered via one of the online contacts. I was not able to get back to the office until the next day, but a different clerk kindly offered me free Wi-Fi… but it was only for one day… I was told I had to go back to the office to get it for another day… something that was difficult for me to do. The room was very clean but there were cockroaches in the bathroom.

Nicest Motel 6-er I've seen. Much Improved, new upgrades. No hot coffee; is only minus for me. Cold coffee is available for purchase via vending machines however. Great, close distance to the sea.

I stay at your hotel every time I come to visit my son in college in Santa Barbara. I always leave very pleased. This time more than ever. I had gotten up at the equivalent of 1AM CA time and had already taken two flights by the time I got to the hotel before noon. I was absolutely exhausted and in desperate need of a nap. Your manager was extraordinarily sympathetic and responsive. He found me a room that I could occupy immediately. He even gave me an extra blanket and pillow. The staff is always great at this hotel. The value is extraordinarily good compared to the other hotels in the area and all hotels in Santa Barbara. It is very short trip to the beach on Linden which I really enjoy. I could not be more pleased with this hotel and its management. Cliff.

Sheila checked us in and she was absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond to makes sure we were happy with our stay. A true asset to the Motel 6 industry. I hope she gets recognition for her great work. The room was very clean and new. Great stay and would highly recommend.

Great front desk staff Christina was amazing she went above and beyond for us while we stayed there as part of the Thomas fire she made sure we where taken care of being away from home which means a lot when you have to leave your loved ones and go put ur life on the line. So from all of us from Cecil logging we thank you so much Christina.

I stayed here during the Thomas Fire, the worst in California's history. My dog and I were staying there before the mandatory evacuation in Carpinteria and returned just before the mandatory evacuation of Monticeto and Santa Barbara. In both instances, the staff was excellent. They kept guests abreast of everything that was happening, made sure rooms heating and air were working properly since we couldn't open windows since smoke still lingered in the air, and just generally made me feel safe — leaving and returning. And it definitely boosted my confidence when firemen started staying there as well. I figured if they thought it was okay, I was in the right place. But I knew that! This Motel 6 truly followed their motto and 'kept the light on' … Thank you!

Stayed here for a visit to Santa Barbara. It was the cheapest thing we could find, but in retrospect, I would have rather paid more for comfort. It literally felt like I was sleeping on the highway. I could hear the traffic even behind closed doors. Which, as a result, I couldn't sleep at night. Definitely not worth going there.

I left my email so my receipt could be mailed to me but I did not receive it. I left my Visa for the reservation. When I. He led out I paid cash. I was told that the printer was slow so I left my email. Please e mail my receipt. Over all it was good. Better than we expected it would be.

This is a newer upgraded motel 6. Very clean, neat and functional. Great location and best for a vacation spot. Room was nice. Staff was very nice, fast and pleasant. Ice machine actually worked, in fact they had two so good I took three scoops of ice and filled my cooler. Save some money from Santa Barbara only 10 miles away and stay here.

First off, when we got the room, the bed was not done so had to go back to lobby and ask for a different room. No free Wi-Fi? Really? No free or paid breakfast. Lot of ants in the room No shampoo part of toiletries? Seriously? No conditioner, no lotion nothing. Just 1 soap for 2 people. Pathetic. Vending machine — $2 for a coke bottle? Noway! Never would I pick ANY Motel 6 rooms ever.

The person on duty at the time of check in, a woman but I did not get her name, was really great. She was welcoming, warm, informative and patient. Couldn't have represented you better. The accommodations were a little lacking in what I've come to expect at this price point. No A/C. No mini-fridge. No elevator. For an older person with luggage and a third floor room, that last one was a problem. Also on the second day of my stay the room was cleaned but no fresh towels. Had to make do with hand towels after showering. I would have rated the experience much lower, but for the desk clerk.

Just needed someplace reasonable in a beach community for one night so selected Motel 6. We arrived while my wife was suffering vertigo. The night clerk went out of her way to switch us to a first floor room as we couldn't have navigated three flights. She was very compassionate and understanding. This was first ever stay at a Motel 6 and the exceptional service aside we were pleasantly please with the room, perhaps expecting almost third-world accommodations. It was spartan but clean and comfortable.

Motel 6 has made me feel at home. I've been trying to find a place to rent in the Santa Barbara county and staying at both the north and south motel 6, s in Carpinteria. The staff has gone above and beyond to help me when I've needed them and knew to leave me alone when I've appeared frustrated and stressed trying to find a rental in this area. Accommodations are nice and I would recommend staying here just for the customer service. The cleaning staff are great too! Helpful and courteous and non-evasive. Thank you motel 6! I really appreciate your all around support and kindness.

Located right on Highway 101 from insisting on a room away from the street! It is clear to hear traffic noise about this. Otherwise Sauber and very friendly staff. For the price range and the area (Carpinteria is very nice) good accommodation. Wi-Fi costs extra!

I usually get grumpy people at the front desk of motel 6. However last night I had one if the friendliest front desk lady I've seen.

Clean rooms. Easy parking. No elevators. Wi-Fi is paid for. Small tv. Decent programing. A/C is not so good. No barrier between it and Freeway.

The room was clean, the grounds were well taken care of, but the staff made our stay, going way beyond the norm in my experience! I would stay here again and will!

All was well till reach the room, a bit small compared to the photos but I do not gave much importance, staff was very friendly and helped me get a room without problems, in the room was more than happy with the TV and the comfort of the beds, although the cover had a cigarette burn. The bathroom was more or less, I think that already do not get shampoo or maybe it was just my room.

The rooms were clean, and very modern. I had my dogs with me and the stay went perfectly. The service was great. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful when I wanted an early check in time and a specific room since one of my dogs is scared of too much noise.

I was pleasantly surprised. It looks like they refurbished the rooms with laminate flooring and updated the furniture. It was clean although there are no extras, if you don't drink coffee (which they have up front in the office) then you pretty much get nothing. There are no hair dryers or irons in the room. A coffee maker to heat water would have been nice so I could have my tea. Other than that, it was okay.

You know what you're getting with a Motel 6. They're generally always the same. I have to say that the staff in this one was very helpful. There was an issue with my reservation and they took the time to explain things to me. It didn't really change anything, but they were patient, and there were people standing in line behind me. I appreciated that. The motel was clean, and the pool area was nice. The one thing I wish they hadn't changed was the shower area. There is no bathtub, and the shower is very shallow, so you are screwed if you don't want to stand for your washing up. Even a removable shower head would help. Otherwise, it was ok.

I came to meet up with my husband, I came for the weekend but my husband has been staying here for 3 weeks. I had a very pleasant stayed we have a room that faces the pool 1st floor very clean, the staff is very courteous specially Leonor the cleaning lady. The only reason why I did not 5star other guest extremely noisy but overall loved it!

No good motel! No good price! No free Wi-Fi! Too small room size! Dirty pillow cover and blank too.

I stayed for three nights. The room was remodeled nicely, and it was very quiet except highway traffic. Staff was always friendly. I can recommend this place to anyone.

Clean, friendly, convenient close to beach love the city, cop came by felt safe, no fridge oh well I would stay again :).

I made reservations for my husband to stay here for 3 nights. Here are the reasons we will never stay there or recommend it: -The front desk lady turned him away telling him he had a reservation at the other motel 6 even though he handed her the reservation paper with this address. Once going to the other motel 6 he was sent back to this one and the lady finally looked up his reservation on the computer which she hadn't done in the first place and said yes you have a reservation here. But no apology for her laziness or inconvenience she caused him. -Non smoking room that smelled like smoke so bad my husband went on walks to get away from the strong smell in the room -The water at this hotel that we paid for him to stay at shuts the water off from 12-4pm. What hotel does that! -Rooms are in need of repair and are outdated. -Online it says its newly remodeled and when arrived and asked a staff member they said they are planning on remodeling it. False advertising! Over all it was a horrible stay and a waste of money. I am never reserving a room at another motel 6. So disappointed.

I enjoyed my stay here and felt I got a good deal for what I paid. This is a value type motel, one of the cheaper places to stay in the general Santa Barbara area. If you approach it from that angle, it's perfectly reasonable. The rooms facing the freeway have a bit of noise coming in, but it's not unbearable. We asked after the first night, and they happily found us to a room on the ground floor in the back building, and the staff was very accommodating. The property isn't the cleanest on the outside, but it's perfectly acceptable on the inside. The Wi-Fi offered was a bit slow at times, but it was enough to get some browsing and work done. If you aren't the person that needs everything to be perfect, then I strongly recommend this place.
