A good and clean Hotel… staff are kind and Helpful… breakfast is smashing lots of quick bits to be had and coffee to go… idea for a quick trip to San Francisco or for connection flights … stayed here be for flying home to UK after a USA Road trip… bang tidy and ended my trip on a high … thanks to the staff and service… free shuttle to the airport and a lobby computer to print boarding passes big plus…

Price was very affordable for a Sunday night last minute. Rooms have always been very clean and comfortable. Front desk employees are always knowledgeable and very kind. Easy fast check out. And they didn't even harass me for checking out late. I had a long night so I didn't fall asleep until after 4am. I slept until noon. Only had one call from front deck. And he was pleasantly professional when he asked if I was staying another day or would be checking out soon. So San Francisco frequent flyer.

We stayed one night, for the convenience of being near airport to catch flight the following day. We did not have reservations but were given a room for a great price. The appetizers and drinks in the bar were good and the breakfast was good. The staff was very friendly — especially in the bar/restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. If you plan on visiting Pier 39, I recommend a hotel closer to the pier, since traffic can be heavy and parking near the pier can be hard to find. I will certainly stay at Best Western in the future, we've always had a good experience with that hotel chain.

Convenient airport location. Good shuttle service. Decent decor and clean rooms. Outdoor pool so not much useful in spring or colder days. Shuttle service is convenient. Standard breakfast in the morning. Very few food options around.

To everyone who is reading the reviews and ignoring the comments about parking, or thinking it won't be that bad: yes, it is that bad. The hotel runs out of spaces by 6pm or so every night. Our first night we had to execute a 15 point parallel park into a small space next to the dumpster, the only one left available. The following two nights we changed our plans so that we would be arriving back to the hotel by 6pm every night to be able to get a parking space, which needless to say put a bit of a damper on our vacation. The worst part is that the hotel charges $8 for parking. If a hotel charges for a service, I feel as though they should ensure that service is available to use. Parking aside, the hotel was a decent place to stay. Bed was a bit stiff, room was clean, breakfast was decent. But the parking situation alone is worth not staying here again. Seriously, pay attention to the parking comments, I wish I had. UPDATE: after reading this review and asking me for comments after our stay, the manager reversed the parking charges and apologized for the parking situation, saying that they were "busy". For the record, we stayed on a weekend, but it was not a holiday and was in the middle of April.

Location is great for easy access to any freeway. Parking is impossible at night so get your spot no later than dinner. The room was comfortable and had the basics. There was no great view from the second floor where I stayed, but this is a very tall building, and I'm sure the floors above had great views. They have a pool outside, but for my visit it was not in season. The staff was very friendly, and when I came in late one night, offered to give me their own parking spot. Even got a small batch of laundry in before I left in the guest laundry which was nice to travel with clean clothes. Overall I was happy with the stay, and would definitely consider again.

Good hotel for the price. Food was good and service from the employees was 90% good I would give it 5 stars if not for the room smelled so bad when we arrived had to go buy an air freshener. Overall would come again. Oh and the wokers all looked sad and depressed. They need to smile and be more friendly.

Staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The beds were nice and comfortable. Even though it is close to the freeway, it was not loud. The room was clean and well maintained. Definitely staying here when I need a place in the South San Francisco area.

This was a beautiful suite, even though in a somewhat noisy location. Close to the airport and many other great places. Their breakfast was very good. Varied every morning (slightly). There's plenty of room at the breakfast area. Rooms were very clean. Bathrooms were clean and spacious. Overall, great value.

Worst hotel. Manager left me a voicemail saying threats. He claims I took a pillow, they have 4 white pillows in every room. When I left, there were still 4 white pillows in the room. The cameras can prove I walked in with my own pillow. Staff doesn't respond when you call for room Service or housekeeping or any other services. Drunks all over the hotel running around. Small laundry room. Pool is dirty. Most vending machines don't work. No cart to take bags up to the 8th floor. All around bad experience here.

I had a really great experience here at this hotel with my wife. The rooms were clean the staff was very nice and helpful. They accommodated to all the needs we had. I have to say the selection they had at breakfast was great and tasted unbelievable I'll be staying here more often on my trips up north.

We enjoyed our visit at Best Western in South San Francisco. The service was Excellent. There were two down falls: Parking for customers staying there was very bad at night. The Bathroom commode is very low for anyone over 6 feet tall and Inconvenience. The room was very nice. Breakfast was excellent.

Impeccable customer service! The sweet receptionist (i really wish I remembered her name) upgraded us for my birthday! Breakfast was always amazing and fresh. And I got engaged here! We will be back.

Even though this is a non smoking hotel, The first night we stayed around midnight after we fell asleep, we were subject to many hours of second hand smoke. It was coming from the adjacent room which where There was an adjoining door. The door was shut but smoke was coming into our room. Yes the hotel changed our room after catching the person smoking but it was too late. We both became very ill and I ended up in the emergency room 4 days later. We were only comped our $8 parking fee. I only get to vacation every 6 years and this ruined my vacation and stay in San Francisco. The bad part is we made it clear that we needed a non smoking room and the lady that was caught smoking had been caught smoking in her room there before. I have a mechanical heart valve and can’t be subject to any type of smoke. Why did they put a lady who was caught smoking in the hotel before next to us. Why weren’t we comped anything when we complained? All they did was offer to call 911 when I told them I was very ill from the smoke? Kinda hard to go back after having my vacation ruined by this hotel.

Good stay. Staff was really friendly and professional; quick problem solving service and great attitude except for breakfast. Didn't find anything that I liked from their breakfast and it seemed very difficult for the staff to deal with the amount of people gathered in a relatively small area. Besides that room was alright; hotel just a few mins from SF by car.

Good place and very clean, breakfasts are delicious, the interior is super.

A bit far from the centre but quiet and well maintained. The staff are thoughtful and very friendly. If you don't want to queue for breakfast wake up early. Paid parking. Great Wi-Fi. There is fitness room and laundry available. The room is well furnished.

Excellent hotel in San Francisco, I agreed with a popular saying good, nice and cheap. I stayed two different times with my family in ten days and was absolutely satisfied.

Shaun you were a wonderful help… always smiling and happy. The room was good, we would stay again. Unfortunately what let the stay down was a very rude older lady behind they counter when we were due to check out. We asked if we could leave our baggage for awhile. She rudely replied "we probably have no room". No name badge, no uniform, no smiles, no desire to ask how our stay was, held attitude! I hope this was a one off and no one else experiences this rude ladies behaviour.

We stayed at this hotel on an overnight layover in San Francisco and we're very very pleased with the cleanliness the comfort and the care that we received. We ate in there restaurant and the service we received was amazing. They was short-staffed but our server attended to our needs and took great care of us. We were most pleased. We would definitely stay here again if we ever have another layover in San Francisco.

This property is awesome. The staff is SO helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Just a quick jump on the freeway to downtown and all the excitement of San Francisco. Great breakfast buffet and nice bar for evening cocktail. The price can't be beat for the quality and service. The staff is again, amazing.

Amazing hotel with beautiful and clean rooms. My bed had 8 comfy pillows. Staff is professional and super helpful. Airport shuttle helps save money in transportation.

Nice, big, clean rooms. Huge flat screen, large breakfast area with good selection. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Allowed me a late check-out. Very pleasant experience.

We were allowed to deposit our luggage a week before our stay. Very flexible.

Comfortable bedding with no bugs and nice bathroom. Complimentary breakfast isn't very tasty, but there's good variety and acceptable for a non-luxury hotel. Internet is free and the speed isn't fast but it's fine for normal use. Overall, nothing to complain about and it fulfills expectations.

I stayed here for a quick overnight between flights. The room was clean, the internet fast, and the breakfast free. When I went to breakfast, the restaurant manager told me my room was not eligible for free breakfast, which seemed strange because their own website advertises free breakfast and my reservation had it on the printout. A quick chat with the front desk cleared it up. Also, the free airport shuttle was quick and convenient.

Location of the hotel was conveniently located close to the airport. We booked the suite and it was we'll worth it, plenty of room. Our other friend booked a regular room and it was very spacious. Free breakfast every morning was a nice touch as well. Staff was friendly and courteous.

I needed a hotel near the San Francisco airport for an early flight. I picked Best Western because we have stayed at other Best Westerns and were satisfied and because they had a shuttle. It was a lovely property — especially for an airport hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. Didn't get to have the breakfast, because I left so early 5:30am — but if it was anything like the rest of the hotel, I'm sure it was great. They shuttle service was very prompt and delivered us quickly to the airport.

Wonderful lounge happy hour. Delicious dinner and extensive breakfast buffet. Comfortable room and pleasant staff. Wish it wasn't raining because the pool looked welcoming.

The rooms have recently been remodeled and are very nice. Most importantly is that the rooms are clean and the staff is very professional. Location of the hotel is close to the airport and to Hgy 101"with easy access to San Francisco. The free breakfast in the morning has a large variety of foods.

Location is nice, a good 10-15mins away from the airport, so if you need a nice rest after your flight, this is a good spot. Room is nice and clean. Only problem we saw is the room has a weird smell.

Fantastic hotel in South San Francisco! This was a great place for us to stay as tourists in the city. We were able to save quite a bit by staying outside of downtown. It only took us 10 minutes to drive into town and parking was a breeze with the ParkWhiz app. This hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

The cost was crazy but hotel rooms in this area are all expensive. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. We reluctantly decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. We weren't sure if the food would be very good and we were tired. We were very surprised that our meals both nights, and the light breakfast in the morning, were very fresh and will seasoned. Our chicken and steak dishes were cooked perfectly and both were moist and tender.

Beautiful hotel with an excellent staff who treats you well. Breakfast is your typical continental with a good selection. Nice layout so you don't feel like your eating with others. Extremely clean, which is very important. I walk out of hotels that aren't. This hotel does not disappoint in any way!

Everything is fine, but the price is still quite high. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are full and good. The rooms on the airport side are quiet.

Great hotel if your option is to stay close to the airport. Restaurant has an excelent pasta and the service is great. Parking space is charged a $7 rate per night which I thought a little bit absurd, but at the end, hotel staff is so nice that you are not even mad for paying it. My room was very spacious, bed very comgortable and A/C working well. Shower has too little water pressure though. Will definetly come back next time I need to sleep in SFO airport.

Perfect night! The bed and pillows were so comfy. Clean room, friendly staff, well maintained property, great location, decent breakfast. What more could I ask for.

The front desk staff are very nice and accommodating. Rooms and the amenities in the rooms were all clean. Breakfast was good and tables were kept clean from messes and spills by only one gentleman and he did a great job of it! Park in the very back, lots of spaces were open every night while the front of the lot was jam packed. The fitness room was hot and had old machines.

Location is excellent (close to airport). Rooms are fine, comfortable/cozy. Booked a queen bed, but got room with two doubles. Needed a crib for the little one, but the provided unit was old school — — the bars are close together and the little one got her legs caught. Housekeeping was able to round up some "bumper pads" that worked like a charm. On premises restaurant was very good, both for dinner (had the seafood sampler, which was outstanding in cream sauce and with rice) and breakfast.

Had the pleasure of staying here for 5 nights last week. What a helpful and friendly staff! Especially the gentleman with the glasses and the lady that helped me utilize the gym option and printed me extra room keys. Great freeway access. I stay at Best Western Hotels throughout the northwest on a weekly basis (I'm based in Idaho) and would definitely put this hotel near the top of my list! Be careful though, they have a very tempting snack bar stocked in rooms that makes dieting difficult.

GOOD: The shuttle from SFO to the hotel is convenient. The complimentary breakfast is decent. They have free apples in the lobby. Rooms are clean. Good complimentary Wi-Fi and lounge area. Good freeway access. BAD: The in-room refrigerator is noisy and turns on/off at all hours through the night. You can hear the television from neighboring rooms.
