Stayed here for 2 nights. Hot water was not hot, just barely warm. They say construction is from 8 to 5 and by 6am you here every single noise they are making. Bathroom shower walls were dirty. Room key talks about putting valuables in safe which there isn't a safe in room. I think for the rates they charge you should at least have a safe… coffee maker and not be woken up at 6am with all that noise. But the very least provide hot water to take a hit shower. I would take my business somewhere else. Rooms are newly remodeled and look ok but that shouldn't take away from you being comfortable. These pictures are from when I walked in the room and after they had '"cleaned it ".

Place was under construction and a bit messy outside. The room was super clean and a wonderful view of the Pacific. Great restaurants in walking distance. Staff was excellent!

Clean, quiet, nicely furnished. They were in the process of renovating while I was there, but never heard any noise. Short walk to beach; if you open the windows, you can hear the waves.

Nice quiet location near the beach. Good waves, fun hikes along the cliffs, 5⭐ for being dog friendly! Small simple rooms comfy bed for a fair price. No complaints all aroubd good experience!

Woke to alot of construction noise at 6:30am both mornings. Room had a great view of the ocean. Desk phone cord cut (looked to be pulled out. ) Breakfast is pitifully just an automatic coffee and juice machine with plastic pastries. Cant wait to see the remodel completed.

They are so respectful loving kind patient and considerate at the front desk housekeeping does amazing job if I were to stay anywhere long-term short-term or just on a visit I hope I get the people that I met here as well as the room that I received that was amazing tows I'll definitely be returning.

Front desk staff was very professional and helpful. Rooms are a bit on the small side but are clean and cozy. Free parking in the middle lot. My room had an awesome view of the ocean. You can walk to the beach in minutes. I greatly enjoyed my stay here.

Nice, close location to the beach. There are several shops but not a lot of options for dining or groceries. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The building has seen better days and is relatively run down (peeling paint, chipped tiles, rust, smells). The Wi-Fi signal is very dependent on where your room is. It seems the northwest corner is not a good location for a signal. The parking lot is not big and fills up fast, especially on the weekend. Coffee and small snack offered in the mornings. Overall, I don't think you can beat the price being so close to the ocean but you do have to give up some comforts.

Talk about amazing location. You are a building and a two lane parking lot away from the ocean. For a great price we had a room with an ocean view. The room was relatively small and decor looked like my brothers bedroom from the 90s, but the window opened wide and being able to see and listen to the ocean throughout the night is priceless. Water pressure in shower was very nice. Besides being on the water, there are shops nearby. The lady at the front desk is extremely sweet and will help point you in the right direction. Honestly, for its incredible view, we would stay here again.

The only thing good with this hotel is the location. A block from the water. Listened to the waves all night. Hotel needs updates. Breakfast coffee and cheap pastries. Bed sheets smell. Room old.

Very disappointed, left my cell phone charger in the room upon checkout. Called within 15 minutes and they said they would send it to me. Never received it, called 4 times over the week and never returned my calls. Not a very honest place to stay, cost me $30 to replace it.

Awful, this man charged us over 400$ for one night. No discount was given for a mistake he made and we were basically left stranded. Will never ever ever go back! Please don't give this man your business ever!

Very sweet, and were nice clean honest place e home away from home Iam going to miss them and so really respect me and my blue nose pitt. Wait not to missed going to a great apartment in Daly City. Thank you again for treating me better them family. Take care.

It's the most economic lodging in Pacifica. Some fixtures are run-down and the bathrooms could be refreshed, but the staff was friendly and overall it was a decent place. We would probably stay here again.

The room rates are def. Not justified. Wi-fi not available in our room. Room smelled awful, bed uncomfortable, front door old and unsafe. Bathroom in a bad condition. Whole building looks old and neglected. Won´t come back!

Yuck, just old crooked building with old rooms and they charge too much for that.

We needed a single night, two rooms, over a busy holiday Friday. This fit the bill fine. It was clean and beds were good, hot water, free Wi-Fi, mini frig, microwave. My room smelled strongly of either a cleaning product, or paint. And then there was no shower head in the shower — very odd — but the water was warm and it felt great — even if it was a bit like showering in a hose. Over all — we were probably in the room for all of about 10 hours. It was what we needed, and it worked well. oh and there is zero view from the south facing part of the hotel — our window opened, but 3ft away was the wall of another building — again — odd, but we were not there for the view, just to sleep, shower, and leave.

Was not my idea to stay here, awful, awful and awful is about as nice as I can be. We stayed there for 2 nights over the last weekend, granted it was Labor Day, but $150/night for a bed that was in my opinion unsleepable is an outrage. Afterall, what you really want in a less expensive hotel, is a decent night's sleep, which was impossible on the sadly outdated, smaller than promised Queen bed. It was very low to the floor with hard lumps and creeping sheets, it was painful to sleep on my side as I have very little padding on my hips. I can overlook the non-view window (the Holiday Inn Express blocks an otherwise normal view) and the outdated, no frills room, but to pay $150/night for a lumpy, old matteress is unacceptable. Guys, do right by your lady, spend the extra $50 bucks on a nicer room next door, you'll be glad you did :).

If you are willing to spend anytime whatsoever in pacifica you are one of two things. 1) Stuck and need a place to sleep asap, or 2) you are completely uninformed about the local and surrounding area. Staying in the Pacifica motor inn is visually like spending the night in Abu Ghraib. There is mold everywhere, it smells musty and you can hear the traffic and flush of your neighbours toilet at all hours of the day/night. It personifies it's city perfectly. Expensive, grotty, flat and boring. That saying, if you're desperate and have $145 burning a hole in your wallet it'll do the job but have low expectations. Please note: if the price of the room has been lower, say about 80/90 dollars I would've been far more lenient in my review but 145 is daylight robbery.

Awesome place right on the beach.

Good value for your money. The coffee shop nearby serves delicious coffee and baked goods.
