We had a double queen size bed room. Beds were comfy. We used the hot tub & pool both were great. We took advantage of the 10% room discount when breakfast is at the Breakers next door. The Breakers was fantastic, excellent breakfast!

Outstanding staff! They went above and beyond for our 6 night stay. They are in the middle of renovations and we can’t wait to see the new rooms! The location is perfect, clean large rooms, right on the ocean and easy on off of Highway 1. If we ever make it back to California, this is where we will stay.

Old hotel with a rather confusing floor plan and parking lot. Plusses are proximity to the ocean and short drive to SF. Great food across the street at Rockaways.

Stayed here several times. Close retreat from where I live. Love the restaurant and the views from the plate glass windows. Deep ocean shelf makes for huge waves. Love this place,

We called room service to bring up an item, they never came, so we had to call again. The second time we called, they told us they aren't able to service our need because room service isn't available. Mind you, it was only 6PM and room service ends a 9PM. Also, the service we asked for was simple and wouldn't even take 5 mins. When I asked why did room service end early today, they said they "just can't". They're "too busy".

Located in a beautiful area of Pacifica, right up against the sea wall to the beach. Room was comfortable and hotel is in an area with unique shops within walking distance. The half hour distance from San Francisco is far enough away to enjoy a more rural setting without the heavy traffic and hordes of people, while enjoying beaches and the ocean right outside the hotel. Hotel is currently being renovated so, if construction bothers you, check with hotel for completion date prior to booking. If you want a quieter, serene area to enjoy beach and ocean settings, this is a great destination for you!

Hotel looks dated but don't let that scare you. Rooms are much nicer than expected and the price was phenomenal for it being Valentines Day. Bigger bathrooms would be nice, but it looks like they're doing some major renovations so I'm excited to see what that brings. Definitely wanting to stay here again, it's the perfect mini vacation for bay area residents.

Second stay at this property. It is a bit rundown and the parking area smells terrible. Our room was huge, which was a nice surprise. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, but paper thin walls lead to a very unpleasant experience. We wanted to eat at the restaurant upstairs, but there was an even going on, and the earliest they could get us in was 8:45pm (we went elsewhere). The views from the beach cannot be beat, which is really what you're paying for and why you're staying here. Our second experience was very much like the first. I would not do more than one night here due to lack of sleep from noise, but for an overnight trip to the coast, it's decent.

Nice hotel with great location. Hotel is right on the beach and is near several restaurants. Fantastic hiking tails all around the bluffs and nearby mountains. My wife and two kids enjoyed our stay and plan to come back.

Good hotel comapred to its price with a very beautiful view, it's clean & the room service is very good… but I didn't like that it doesn't have a free breakfast. There is a nice restaurant there that you can visit for breakfast & dinner, but I don't want to spend $30+ everyday just for breakfast for 2 persons.

Beautiful location on the beach. Convenient to excellent restaurants. Older hotel but room was maintained perfectly and very clean! Staff was very helpful!

The location is priceless, the hotel was clean, everything works and relatively updated. The restaurant food and service is good, the view is spectacular, if like the ocean and sunsets. The prices were reasonable and the location worked for my work schedule, even though some locations I traveled to were a little further than I normally like to go, the location made it worth the travel. I will absolutely make an effort to stay here again,

We LOVE this hotel and stay here often. It is near our house but provides the perfect little get away whenever we need it. It is conveniently located close to the City and lots of local restaurants and shops. Not to mention the lovely beach and hiking trails.

Great hotel located on the pacific coast. The rooms are clean and most of them offer at least a partial ocean view. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Plenty and free parking. Nice courtyard and well kept. Lots of places nearby to eat. Ocean is literally in front of the hotel.

We had a partial ocean view, which was actually pretty good. Was disappointed that the breakfast was not included, other than a 10% discount. (obviously I didn't do my homework & assumed that it was included as it is in all the other Best Westerns we're ever stayed) The construction was noisy and annoying, but I guess it will be nice when it's finished. Staff was pleasant enough, & housekeeping was great. Nice room with refrigerator. Would recommend.

The ocean front that is public, is not crowded or uncomfortable. We could see it from our room and fell asleep to it. Took many memories home with us, Not being even close to the ocean. Moonraker is a 4+ restaurant located in the hotel. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner WOW. If you're into trying new tastes with fresh food. We will come back to the Best Western Plus lighthouse Hotel. You will not be disappointed!

Upon check in we were completely confused where the location of our room was, they did not offer to walk us to our room. The room had stains all over the carpet, the mirror was dirty, there was spots of feces on the bathroom wall. The curtain rod was pushed into drywall and not a sturdy wood beam. My husband went to open the curtain and the rod fell and hit him in the head. We went to the restaurant and the waitress hardly checked on us or brought us refills that we requested. Going back to our room, the security guard flirted with me and then was rude to my husband. All in all it was a terrible experience however the bed was soft and comfortable. The View was amazing and the manager reimbursed us $100 for all the difficult things we had to endure. I would not suggest this hotel to anyone unless they replace the carpet and have a better house cleaning Department.

The key for this property is location. If you want to be right on the beach and listen to the waves crash all night long, this is the place. It's been there for as far as I can remember, so the general motif is a bit dated, but the rooms are nice. Make sure to eat at Nick's across the street, they are celebrating 90 years in that location. Breakfast at the breakers is excellent.

Great Location, Great Views. Employees seemed nice. The only thing I didnt like was the curtains smelled like old hippie, smelled like B. O. Other than that Beds were comfortable and hearing the ocean all night was worth it. I'd go back for sure.

Very nice room, right on the beach. Gorgeous views. They need to have room service a little later than 9. Also need to have all the vending machines working.

Good view, nice to listen to the ocean at night. No air conditioning, which wasn't a big deal but if it had been any hotter, it would've been uncomfortable.

The room was big. The Jr suite was nice. There is no balcony access even though they do have balconies. We had a partial view and it was nice, but I would have wanted a full view. It's a little rough around the edges, but does have a very nice feel to it. The proximity to the beach is awesome. Leaving the window open while sleeping will make for great sleep with the sounds of the waves crashing on the beach. Nice speeds on the free Wi-Fi too. I would stay here again.

Was very good. Great rooms, they have a restaurant called Moonraker, excellent food, kinda pricy though. Right on the beach, most of the rooms have beach views excellent hotel for the price!

A really nice Best Western located right on the coast in Pacifica. You can't beat the location, with a beautiful view of the ocean from many of the rooms. We had a King room on the 4th floor with a partial view of the ocean, right over the swimming pool. The room was spacious and modern, looked like it had been remodeled somewhat recently. The bath (toilet/shower) is in a separate room with a door and there are two sinks and a large countertop outside. Very nice for getting ready with more than one person in the room. It was quite, the bed was comfortable, even a small sitting area with a desk. The room was clean and smelled fresh. And best of all is the location, you can walk right outside and down to the beach. We watched surfers and enjoyed the sunset from a cement pier (doesn't go out into the ocean) connected to the hotel. Highly recommend the restaurant (Moonraker) that is connected to the hotel, the food was good and the view as outstanding. Definitely one of the nicest Best Westerns! Positive: Great view and location, rooms are clean, spacious and modern. Nice restaurant attached. Negatives: Sprawling, and a bit confusing, layout (you may have to walk a bit to your room).

Stayed 5 nights in a room overlooking the beach for our honeymoon. The concierge was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. One night we even hiked the cliffs overlooking the ocean. There is a KILLER Americana burger and shake shop next door. We agreed they were the best burgers we've ever had. Also, a great affordable breakfast restaurant near the main office but not part of hotel. Learned the breakfast place only served organic and GMO free, which was a bonus. Around the hotel are kitschy little shops to explore and only a 25 minute drive to downtown San Fran. We really enjoyed our experience and would stay again.

Stayed one week and have no problems at all. I believe for the price it's a nice place to stay.

I was in December 2013 there. The hotel staff spoke English, which I really was approaching. The Service and the hotel room with the indescribably great sea views were just awesome. On my next Trip to the USA, I will definitely be in Pacifica at the Best Western to make a Stop. Just beautiful.

The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was good with many options. Coffee pot was moldy but received new one on request. Pool and spa are heated and we'll kept. I'd go back without hesitation.
