Very close to the famous part of Lombard street. It is a steep uphill walk from this hotel to the twisted section of Lombard, but it is close. About a 15 minute walk down to the bay and all the shopping and food options down there. As far as the hotel room itself, the walls are very thin. We had someone on the floor above us stomping for most of the night along with some people partying in a nearby room on the same floor. Made for a tough night's sleep. Our room was very large, but the bathroom sections were small. They do have an elevator and luggage carts which made loading and unloading much easier. They also provide parking which was very nice because trying to find parking in downtown SF is painful.

We stayed here because of the location. When we pulled up we liked the looks of the hotel. Our room was nice and big we had a 2 queen bed room. We had a fridge no microwave. The view was nice. It was about a 10 minute walk to Pier 39. Lots of places to get food within walking distance. The staff was wonderful. Parking is tight but they have covered parking. The breakfast was just your basic hotel breakfast nothing fancy but free. Needless to say we will be staying here again. We felt very safe here with our son.

My friend and I booked king beds (no fridge no microwave we had a cooler) here and checked in early enough to be neighbors. This hotel has doors linking rooms to one another which was a major plus made our trip very memorable. We stayed on the lowest level which had upstairs foot traffic from the stairs. I would advise to request a higher level if u are a light sleeper. Although it did wake me up I was not bothered by it. I liked being able to walk outside directly to the car. Parking* we arrived late on Saturday and parking was very very limited. They have a pile of dirt on good spaces… idk. We moved cones and parked in red.

Excellent location! Room clean and very spacious. Breakfast can be improved. The parking lot is mega economic for the area.

The hotel is well located (near the Fishermans Warf and a bit far from the centre) and has what it takes to stay economically and parking in SF. So we knew these were two adjoining buildings that are only connected from the outside by the reception. We hired the service to take Off for 3 pax, upon arrival we had to pay for a cot or additional we had to sleep three in a bed king-size bed. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable (the bed) and had Wi-Fi, coffee maker and complimentary coffee. If well indicates that it has its own parking, this is charged extra and the capacity is very limited (best to park at dark and go for a walk, to dinner. The breakfast is self service and quite complete: coffee, muffins, cereals, butter, jam, bread and also have a toaster.

Great location for a walking family. We could walk many places to and from here. Clean, friendly and comfy. The building has an odd arrangement and we had a little trouble finding our room.

This place is great because it has overnight parking for 20$ (not free). Luckily I read a review that said they now charges because they were listed as free parking. Rooms are simple, clean and do the job. Shower was teeny, but again for the price a decent deal. Front desk staff were very cordial, and Continental breakfast was (again) simple but did the rock.

The inn was as expected for a place in San Fransisco and built in 1959. The parking was tight but usable for vehicles as big as SUVs and minivans. The rooms don't represent the latest decor, but are fairly large with beds on firm side. The corner shower left a bit too be desired with it's lack of pressure and tight space. There is a small elevator to help get luggage to the higher levels. Plenty of food on the same block and small convenience store a block away. Fisherman's Wharf is well within walking distance. Would start again.

Sleep and go. It is well located. Good Wi-Fi.

Very good location. For two stars hotel he is very good and clean. The breakfast is good. Just what you need for the morning.

Good hotel for the price paid. There was plenty of parking for a decent pay as well. The rooms were clean and the staff was nice.

It is more a big motel than a hotel but the staff are friendly and they make the rooms every day!

A good location at the crossroads between the fisherman's Warth and the Golden Gate Park via the Golden Gate Bridge, then when to the benefits you have to stay measure it is a motel so it is motel benefits and fortunately there are motels For us to see the price of hotels and life in the USA, me and my wife were well accommodated it was very sufficient.

I was there very well. The room was huge. The big bathroom. Breakfast with no shame and no praise. The Wi-Fi not too powerful.

The breakfast room made 10m2 for 200 people. Requires to queue outside in the cold to be able to access a very limited buffet.
The bathroom… just a joke… The sink in the room and the bathtub in the toilet…
Moreover you hear the neighbors talking in the next room and especially the neighbors of the top walking on your head.
Frankly, you have to flee.

The bed is nice, they are pretty quick about cleaning your room. The bathroom is tiny and the lighting is pretty bad in the whole room if you need to put on makeup or something detailed. No refrigerator or microwave. The continental breakfast is just a ton of gluten and some hard boiled eggs. The parking hasn't been an issue so far.

Only thing I had was we had to shovel the water out of shower and put in the toilet cause it would not drain. And room 122 you do not want cause you cant sleep cause the washer hits the wall all night. Staff was great breakfast was good.

Good location, 10 minutes by walk from fisherman's wharf. A little noisy during the night if you stay in a room near the street. Good staff. Poor breakfast: muffins, milk, juice and toasts.

Great cheap place, went for an overnight er… public bath and water closet, but dint have a problem sharing since theirs not many rooms in the place.

Clean large rooms, nice staff, Parking is also available. Breakfast is also in order. The Hotel is in a very good area, from here you can Reach all super.

Simple hotel in an excellent location in Lombard Street. Breakfast is included in the price. Attractions easy to reach, a bus to the Golden Gate Bridge departs just around the corner. Good Wi-Fi.

Very friendly staff who were attentive to my needs. The location is very convenient to the waterfront and walkable to warf and pier 39. Simple but satisfying breakfast provided.

The walls are too thin and not very sound proof. Can hear the traffic noise and also when someone passes by along the corridor. A very basic breakfast spread is provided : toast, yoghurt, juice, muffins, corn flakes. Nothing much to look forward to in the morning.

Booking and checking in was fast and easy! The room was a typical Travelodge room, but what really set this stay heads above other higher rated hotels I have stayed at was the customer service! Lorette at the front desk went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable! She offered a late checkout to my husband and I so that we could spend a little extra time in Chinatown without having to rush back to get our luggage and check out. She further called a personal contact at a taxi cab service so that we could get there and back. We really appreciated the kindness she showed to us and plan to stay here again when visiting!

Great location (a couple of blocks from the piers) and the cheapest price I could find in the area for a July 4th stay. Large room, tons of bathroom counter space, and very comfortable accommodations. The continental breakfast in the morning was very nice as well.

A decent hotel, good location and friendly staff. Around OOW the prices are a bit silly.

I was hosted for 3 days along with my wife, my two daughters and my grandson of 11 months, and we had a very good attention.

Haven't stayed here yet, but by the way their office is ran, I am scared! I booked this hotel for a work associate attending a conference at the Moscone Center. EVERYTHING is booked for the days I need and this is the ONLY place available. I'm so scared to have my associate stay here with the experiences I have had so far via phone and email. The pictures of the rooms BETTER be what they actually look like.

This rates among the worst places I have ever stayed. If you call a bowl of cereal and a mini blueberry biscuit a great start have at it. I had to pay 17.50 for a handicap parking spot on premise. This is a hotel that is worth about 65 dollars a night at best. Not the 300 they extort under the premise of being in the heart of excitement. Go comfort inn across the street, Bring a sleeping bag and stay on the sidewalk, either way you are better off.

Paid for one of the better rooms, and was greeted by a small and dirty room with no view of anything outside the window. If you are looking for a place to crash with five people, expect to pay an extra (unreasonable) fee for the fifth person and double that if you want a cot for that person to sleep on; plus yet another fee for parking.

Talk about a nightmare and waste of money! I've stayed in many motel6's and 2 star places, so my expectations aren't high, but the place should be clean. This place was filthy — bathroom/toilet seats gross, really unsanitary. The seats need to be replaced, they can't even be cleaned properly. Holes in the walls, stains on the floor and chair. Then to top it all off, the manager refused to refund us when we said it's not acceptable and didn't stay there. Ended up staying at Cow Hollow Inn right near by. Price was about the same but the difference was night and day. Don't waste your money or time here. There are better choices in the area.

It's not good at all! The rooms are uncomfortable, the Wi-Fi does not work at all, the room service is barely acceptable, the breakfast has nothing, it's SO SO SO noisy you can listen perfectly what they are talking about in the other rooms and noises too, it has almost not privacy as you can see through the windows from all of the rooms. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Very thin walls. We were watching television at 1030 pm and someone called to complain about the noise. I promise we are not those people that rudely make noise with disregard to neighbors. No bathtub even though I requested one and specifically asked while making the reservation. The rooms were clean but small. In my opinion the rates were high for this hotel. I travel with my two dogs and had to walk half a mile to find any grass for them to potty. I know, typical for the city but I expected if pets were allowed there would be a designated are for pets to relieve themselves. The employees were friendly and helpful. Overall, it just didn't met my expectations.

Cheap + optimally located = a good lodging option.

Good sized rooms. Very clean. Check in was quick and easy, receptionist friendly and helpful. Approximately 15 min walk from ghiardelli square. Only downside is the parking, seems to be very limited. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was clean and comfortable; a real bargain in San Francisco! Parking was extra but reasonably priced. Much better than most other facilities. The continental breakfast was a plus because we didn't have to start our day by hunting down food, and the staff was courteous, efficient and helpful. If you are looking for five star amenities, this isn't the place for you; but if you want a clean place to spend the night in a beautiful city, you can't beat the price.

Most expensive place we stayed on our trip. Made us pay 13.90 to park our car there! noisy, noisy staff. They worked until 11 pm cleaning. Making noise with buckets along the hallways. Breakfast was nothing more than some store bought muffins and coffee. Very nice location, but old hotel! Uncomfortable beds.

Spent 4 nights there. It was very clean, bed was comfortable, the staff were very helpful and friendly and very close to the wharf. I would and have recommended this hotel to my friends! I am hoping to go back to SanFrancisco next year and I diffenttly stay there.

The location for my trip was great. It was easy to get around the city from the hotel room. The room was nothing special. The toilet kept running and I kept having to fix it. Probably won't stay there again.

Stayed for a night. The room was very big, clean and with 1 + 1/2 bathroom. Got it for cheap with AAA discount. Good that I had advance reservation because when I reached there I saw 'No Vacancy' sign. As everybody said I think they have less parking spots compared to the number of rooms. I did get a spot but this was my rough estimate. There are like 15-20 or more small/big hotels on Lombard St. They do have elevators. Within 5 mins of drive to Fisherman's wharf / 2 mins drive to Crookedest st.
