Prices are the best in the area. Location is by the freeway and food. The staff are friendly and the rooms are more up to date than other nearby hotels. However, there is no microwave or fridge. Beds arent great. There's a smoke smell even in non smoking rooms.

I travel for work and work nights as an ICU nurse. I'm always looking for inexpensive housing because I'm not really on vacation. I stayed in north Fairfield, Ca. And can't say enough good things about the staff who work there. Accommodating, professional and thoughtful of my needs. The room was clean and bug free — you'd be surprised how many aren't! Thanks!

Although the lady attendant when I checked in, Nia was very nice and accommodating… the gentleman (I use the term lightly) who worked the day shift was the absolute worse. Although I put in for a late checkout (12:00) the house keeper knocked on my door early. When I expressed to her I had a late checkout, within 5 min. I was called by the "gentleman" and told to GET OUT NOW! I got out of bed dressed and went to the office to OFFICIALLY check out. When I requested a receipt, he balked. I had to demand it 3 times as he explained why I didn't need the printout. Finally he gave me a printout and surprise… I was not given my senior citizen discount! and he refused to correct the error! i am so disappointed in your chain as I planned to use your motels as I traveled to the east coast and was met with even more disrespectful treatment! you were my default motel! unfortunately, I can't say i'll ever stay with you again!

When I arrived after driving all day, I was very tired. I had already reserved a room before arrival. After 35 minutes of check-in process in the midnight hour, I was told that I couldn't be checked in because the systems were down. After another 20 minutes, I was told that the only way I could possibly check in is with cash. It blew me away that after all this time, this is the first time it was mentioned that I could check in with cash. I didn't think cash was accepted to prevent fraudulent activity. I was asked if I wanted smoking or non-smoking to which I replied NON-SMOKING. When I went to my room it was definitely a smoking room. I had to walk back to the office with all of my bags and request a new room. When I arrived in the new room it smelled very clean, but the first thing I saw was a cockroach. This was a huge detriment to my ability to relax. I tried sleeping, but the bed was the most uncomfortable that I'd ever been on. Someone started playing really loud music at 2 or 3 in the morning. I really didn't get any sleep that night.

Filled with very trashy people who I'm guessing live full time at the hotel. Upon checking in there was already an issue, the room I reserved hadn't been cleaned so they had to give me another room. That room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, however it wreaked of cigarettes. I was moved to another room which was decent, but later on that night was subjected to listening to a screaming match between some of the residents. Do not stay here if you want a nice, peaceful stay or if you don't enjoy the regulars staring awkwardly. Wish I had another option instead of this place for the night.

We have been traveling for a year around the US and this was our first stay at Motel 6. The room had been remodeled, which was nice, but there were no actual drawers, no Do Not Disturb signs, and no fridge or access to a microwave. These have been pretty standard at most hotels we have stayed at. The room was pretty clean. Our biggest concern was the neighborhood and some of the other guests. It had a motel feel to it with people that seemed to live there making deals out of their room and in the parking lot. There were a few homeless people just hanging out in the parking lot as well. It just didn't feel very safe. The price was lower than most in the area, but still too high for a Motel 6… and with no gym, breakfast, fridge, or microwave. We only chose it because of your lack of pet fees, which is excellent.

The lady whole checked us in was so sweet and funny. The telephone representative was helpful finding us a motel since all hotels amd motels in the area was booked. We drove 40 miles to ensure we had a place to stay that night. Wonderful experience.

I could Believe that there where no vacancies available all over Fairfield or that all desk clerks where sleeping and not attending the front desk, but found Motel 6 and was very happy, goodnight rest and shower that’s all. Very quiet.

Shower looked like a dorm room shower; the soap rack fell off the minute I set my shampoo off it. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything around you. The only saving grace was the staff member who checked me in; she was very nice and helpful. Otherwise not worth the money. $40 top.

This is one of the nicest Motel 6 properties I've stayed at. I came in late after a long drive, only stayed 1 night but I was impressed. The room was very clean, was in good shape and the entire property felt very well cared for. I had some trouble with my reservation but the front desk woman was polite and helpful. When I spoke with the manager she quickly resolved my booking issue. I will definitely stay here again!

One fix… All we asked at 9:15 at night before we went to bed. Sink clogged with top ramen and cigarette ashes. I called the front desk for assistance and get a mouthy girl named Cameo. I refused to deal after a few minutes as her response is we don't have maintenance, you can move. I told her I'm not moving in the middle of the night as we are dressed for bed and our dogs (one recovering from knee surgery) is in bed… that's too much of a hassle. I asked to speak to the other guy… she put me on hold. After awhile I just walked to the front desk and asked what can be done. Same response. She then told her coworker refund them. Fine. Partial is fine and we will deal for the night. What I wasn't told was they "processed" the refund and checked us out. I told her that is not was I asked (check out) and you have not refunded me as I pd thru a 3rd party. She then responded… too late, you have 10 min or I'll call PD on you. I said no, I'll just rebook and deal with this tomorrow. She then said I won't check you in and will call PD. Obviously I was getting nowhere. So we left. I contacted management and corporate and don't feel like anything will be done. As a whole careful if you plan to stay. Rooms reek of pot and I'm sure drug deals are going on behind closed doors. The management definitely puts a blind eye to all that goes on at night.

This was one of the better Motel 6' we have stayed at. The room was clean and well maintained and the beds were comfortable. It was also nice and quiet and we enjoyed our stay.

If this hotel 6 had a negative integer scale I would use it. We were traveling from out of state and remembered the commercial about “Leaving the Light on” and needed a place to sleep for a few hours. First off, the front of the building looked nice but the front desk staff was very rude and uninviting. Secondly, we were put in a room on the backside of the hotel which was very scary. There were several rooms with dogs barking all night. There were also at least 2 cars parked directly in front of our side of the building that continued to bark for close to 3 of the six hours that we were there. Being that I couldn’t sleep, I was able to witness numerous drug deals happening from the bottom floor that included at least 2 rooms and utilized the parking lot as their store front. The room smelled of marijuana which permitted my clothing and the bathrooms were filthy. Our beds were also dirty, and smelled of marijuana. I understand that “you get what you pay for” but this was ridiculous. The drug dealing continued in the morning as I walked to the front office to check out… in plain sight with no hesitation, as I was also solicited. I did not feel safe in this location and slept with my weapon next to the bed.

Girl at front desk (dani) was great! She was very friendly, made me feel comfortable. She was also very helpful when I called. I work in customer service and love when I receive great customer service! She was great.

Nice, cozy room. I enjoyed the night's stay. Didn't have to turn on the heater and room stayed nice and comfortable all night. It was quiet. Location is good too. Price was affordable and reasonable at $70. I'm local so i'll probably do it again. Next time i'll probably bring a guest. Most importantly, I lost my room key and one phone call to the office and it was easily voided and replaced with a new one. Thanks.

AUNQ is close to the shops and restaurants is a quiet place. The rooms are small but clean. If I recommend it. They also treat you with kindness.

Friendly check in person at the front desk. Easy location to get in and out of off the freeway. Newer building and clean rooms. You shouldn't charge for internet access though. And you need higher wattage lighting in the rooms for doing paperwork or working on the computer. I'll stay again if work takes my your direction.

Easy to check in. Friendly customer service. Dirty blankets pillows and sheets. Its definitely Fairfield Motel. Always check where my head lays. Can't even sleep knowing how dirty the bed is. Its pretty disgusting. I mean one spot literally looks like a dirty BuTT Print. Like do they wash there bedding at all?! If I get sick from this well. Let's just hope they do better for future guests. No longer coming here. Ever.

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into the room. I’ll be completely honest I was not expecting the room to be as clean as it was. Entering the room you can smell the freshness and cleanliness, everything was well placed. The room was small, but for the price I won’t complain. Tv worked, which made my boyfriend happy since he wanted to watch his game. Our stay was great. I found it to be calm considering how it’s by the highway. Upon arriving and leaving the staff was super nice, I have no complaints whatsoever.

It was a bit too loud for me. It's very rare I even stay in motels, but just wanted to step away from home. The surrounding guests were a bit to vocal for me. Dogs barking. So I cut my stay very short. There was a roach that crawled across the floor. I killed it, but I was kind of done after that. I examined it to make sure, and sure enough, it was a roach critter. So I definitely recommend rooms be fumigated. The room I got was a non smoking room, but because the window was open, and folks were smoking outside, the smoke was very strong when I walked in. I won't return anytime soon. The front desk ladies were sweethearts despite the short stay.

We had a very pleasant stay at Motel 6. Dani at the front desk was extremely helpful and personable! She answered all my questions and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Very happy with kind employees and simple rooms at a modest price. Just what we needed for our stay! Thank you Motel 6!

Location was perfect for what we needed to do in town. Easy in/out access. Plenty of parking. Clean room. However, I wished I knew not to expect clothes hangers, alarm clock, hair dryer, shampoo or coffee maker in the room. We missed having them…

I thought I had already filled this out, but here you go! The office staff at check-in was awesome! Then, I went to my room, and there stands a pretty large black male, in my "soon-to-be-room" door open, charging his phone, and smoking a cigarette. I went to the office and asked for a different room. I should have left your site, but I didn't. I will tell you this… I have traveled with motel 6 for over ten years doing business, love your improvements in the rooms, but I will never stay at a Motel 6 again! When I checked out, I let the manager know what had happened, assuming someone had let her know… OF COURSE NOT.

I believe the receptionist name was Laura, she made me feel very welcome during my stay. Although when I asked for my sheets to be changed because I'm a germophobe, she strongly declined. I felt disappointed as a guest because it was a simple and personal request. Overall the stay was exceptional and close to everything I needed.

It was awful everything about it. Our things were stolen, When we left to get a bite to eat. The hotel agent assign the room & gave keys to another guest. I have left you messages to discuss the issue regarding the mistake in which your agent has done. We check in early on Monday September 18 th 2017 for 1 night stay for my sisters viewing & funeral. When we arrived at 2:15 pm. Your agent for the shift 7-2 pm or 2-10 pm was kind enough to let us check in early. You refuse to provide name of the agent when I asked for the spelling (Reena) Fiji When went to our room to put our things in put our suitcase on the bed, hung our clothes, then left to get a bite to eat. When we returned at 4:30 pm to the room & parked our room ; the was open the door was cracked. We jumped out of car to see two men laying on the bed. I asked them why they were in the room didn't you see it was occupied? There was a suitcase on the bed and clothes hanging? The man responded we didn't think to go to office. The obvious and appropriate would be to get another room. Since my suitcase was not unpacked yet when we left because we were coming right back. However when we got to the room my suitcase was unzip and on the floor by the desk. My moms jewelry were in the zip pocket of the inside to secure it, however when we loaded to the car I checked why it was unzip and sure enough the inside zipper pocket was also unzip & my jewelry pouch was gone.

My first time in a Motel 6. My room was fine, clean, lumpy bed, but a bit dismal where I'm located in the middle hallway. I wish there were a layer white semi-privacy curtains to let in light instead of just heavy drapes. I like the fact it's centrally located near shops and off the freeway.

The night stafff was unsympathetic about the cleanliness of the bathroom. I called the front desk because the toilet seat was dirty with dried yellow spots and clogged. When I asked if I could have someone clean it and unclog it I was told I could go pick up a plunger from the front desk. The newly updated decor was nice. Mounted tvs without a working remote was frustrating. Getting relaxed in bed grab the remote just to get back up and try and find the buttons to turn it on and change channels. I have definitely had better experiences at other Motel 6's.

This location is beginning to lose its security… one person parked in a handicap space (without a permit) and continued to pound on a guest's door at intervals {why have parking permits if they are not enforced}. Also, another non-guest had to be physically escorted off of the property because she could not find someone she was looking and was bothering other guests in her attempts to find them.

It seems that pricing is extended to the geographic or regional locations. Motel 6 is basic, and a lot of times the cost is beyond what is offered in comparison to others. And, other motels may offer more amenities with lower pricing. So, the 'light' on is not so bright. That is, when you're trying to get an affordable rate for the basics.

I was very disappointed when I entered the room. It was a hot night. No refrigerator or microwave in the room that I stayed. My linens were changed on the six day of my stay. Environment very noisy. The towels were yellow. When I called the front desk in regards to why there is no refrigerator in the room. Their respond was you have to pay $15.00 extra for a room that has refrigerator. I hope there will be some sort of improvement.

For the price, comparatively, it's not a great bargain. Wi-Fi isn't free as in almost every other hotel out there now. If you add that in with the cost of a breakfast that is also included in most places, you come almost up to the price many other name brand hotels charge. The difference in quality in the room, though, is very different. The room was plain and very minimalist. The pillows were sub par. The bath towels small and scratchy. Sounds could easily be heard from outside. The amenities in the room, and on the property, are barely at the acceptable level. Although very nice to have a pool, there were no towels and I had to go to the front desk to get a set to use. I understand that what I have pointed out that I find deficient, saves the hotel chain a considerable amount of operating expenses. I don't see that translated in the price charged. When I compare quality to value, I think it will be a long while before I stay at a Motel 6 again.

This was a last minute booking for me and I was pleased with my experience. The only reason I didn't go for 5 stars, was the bed not being the most comfortable, but it definitely did the trick for a few days. Loved that there was a pool and very conveniently located. Also, the room was super clean and bright. The team was exceptionally friendly at the front desk!

"Lori, " who works in the office has always given 175% when it comes to customer service! I love her ability to multi task. I witnessed her checking in in a guest while taking multiple phone calls. The TOPPER was Lori was also helping the Manager do her job! Lori never missed a beat, Always happy and smiling. She's a gem! The room staff were very attentive and friendly too!

Avoid this motel like the plague. Although the Motel 6 website states that the motel accepts credit cards, and requires a credit card to reserve a room, when I showed up they had no credit card reader and no method of paying for the room by credit card. They told me to go find an ATM (in a strange city) and the manager on duty refused to leave the gym next door to attempt to fix the problem. I spent over an hour in the lobby waiting for some blockhead to fix the credit card reader, which he couldn't do, and the problem still wasn't fixed the next day. On the plus side, if you need the Fairfield police, you can probably find them in the motel's parking lot, interacting with the hotel's customers.

The Motel 6 in Fairfield is very petty and management is unbearable! I was visiting a colleague of mine who is vital to growing sales not just domestically but hopefully golably in the coming future. While I very upfront about the grassroots status of my new born venture, it is no reason to treat me or anyone who is not causing a disturbance or breaking any laws poorly. My colleague stepped out for a meeting with another client he is marketing and said he'd be back in an hour or so. Neither of us thought that would be a problem for our project so I stayed to watch ESPN and update a upcoming campaign we were hoping to launch soon. Management knocks on the door and clams I can't be there if the person who rented the room isn't there! I have never heard of such a dumb and ridiculous rule in my entire time of traveling! I question the reason for him even coming to do anything other than ask if we needed any type of service, to begin with! Second it was 10 am and the guest policy states guest are allowed (til 8pm or some other adolescent nonsense) at that time and nowhere did it specify that the Registered Traveler had to be there. I didn't want to make a scene so I complied. But take head avoid this motel 6 at all cost!

Recently, I went down to the front office of the Fairfield Motel 6 to extend my stay. I was told no, that they are unable to extend my stay and that I have too much stuff in the room. I asked why they were unable to accomodate my request. She said based on past experience and also because they say I have too much stuff in my room. Past experiences? That wasn't talked about the remainder of the converstation (ie bull. ) I explained that I am not the only person in the room, as they can see, there are two other people, one adult and one child. They were going to turn me away without so much as letting me remove some of my things to conform to their standards. Which brought me to the other issue, their policy. I questioned their policy and asked, "As a consumer, how would I know what is too much an what are you basing it on? " I was met with a blank stare and the repeated phrase, "Our policy… " Because it would have been extremely inconvient to move hotels as well as I simply did not want to move (again), I persisted in my questioning and remained cool, calm, and collected. I even invited them to look at my room and tell me what to remove. Their answer was still "no" but they would look at the room. It's wasn't until I answered the next set of questions that they allowed me to extend my stay. Those questions that changed their policy-mind were, "How many day's are you going to extend your stay? " "Three to four", was my response. "Are you paying upfront for all three days?

If I could give this place only half a star I would. The only good thing about it was that it had locks on the door. When I walked in this place was NOT clean. Their was random hair on the toilet, floor, in the bathtub and obviously was not mine because I just walked in. The comforter was dirty, the pillow cases had black powder on them for some reason? The bath tub had a crack in it and would sink in when you would step on it, scary. The bed was unnnnnncomfortable And made my back hurt in the morning. Glad I only had to stay one night here.

My room was fine for one person. Door knobs, sink level, toilet bowel, and shower head were all low setting! As if either I grew or room shrunken! I had to bend to take shower… lol, worst than all, there were no shampoo! They expect us to wash our head with body soap. The manager said that I could not find a room at 65 anywhere so It was implied to shut up and put up! I said I do not mind to pay a dollar more but at least have a shampoo. Next is that I became a human thermostat! All night I had to get up and adjust the knob on the heater! Guys, pay more, get more…

Horrible customer service, not pet friendly at all! stayed 9 days with 2 clean quiet cats and was rudely informed by the housekeeping chick that I had to kennel both cats every day (when exactly? ) in order for her to clean (cleaning, meaning emptying the garbage and exchanging towels, no made bed nothing) I told her my cats (and all cats) hide when housekeeping enters and are never a problem at other hotels — I am not traumatizing my animals every day for that pathetic cleaning attempt. Manager shows up demanding entrance for safety issues and theatrically feigns shock from the horrific cat smell (after a 9 day stay? yeah right, I'm sure that's a setup for a bogus cleaning fee, I'm taking photos and requesting a walk through when I leave tomo) manager asks why I have refused service, I explain and then says 'make sure you leave tomorrow" oh really? so the most ghetto criminal elements, prostitutes and the cockroaches I saw in my bathroom are welcome here, but we draw the line at cats? AVOID-Go to the other Motel 6 in Fairfield.

This place is durty no frige no microwve. An is durty. For$89.00 n so noise peaple yeling all nigth. Check your room before you pay!

Motel 6 does not cater to handicaps, entrance doors needs to be insulated, you could feel the cold wind blowing in that makes the room very very cold. And they do not put a handicap in a room that is near a handicap parking and the room we were put into the ac/heater was in the way for a wheelchair to get through making it impossible for a wheelchair person to get in, you have to get out of your wheelchair to get into the room. So wheelchair folks beware of this inconvenience.

This was the most horrible motel 6 experience I've ever had. The people at the front desk are unhelpful, unfriendly, argumentative, and not concerned with customer experience in the least. Besides the staff, the rooms themselves are old, smell of cigarettes and are in desperate need of refurbishment. Flies are everywhere on this property, probably related to the trash all about the property and parking lot. There are no amenities at this motel 6: no fresh sheets, no iron, no microwave, no fridge, no shampoo, etc. Anything you might expect in a motel, they don't have it here. This is particularly odd when you consider almost every other Motel 6 has had every one of these amenities available in the room or at the front desk. The internet is NOT FREE. How can that be? If Starbucks can have free internet when I buy a $2 coffee how come this motel 6 can't have free internet when I spend $80 on a room? Once you do pay (on a daily basis with no weekly option, BTW) the internet is SLOW like molasses. It takes 10 minutes to download a song! What?!? This motel is unsafe in every sense of the word, people yell at night, have loud arguments/conversions in the 'hallways' outside the rooms. Obvious solicitation of prostitution (and everything that comes with it) occurred on the property every night that I stayed there. There is NO security present at this property, not even a security camera. Transients ask you for spare change as you leave your room and walk to your car.

Stayed here for the State Board test and the staff is really nice. Motel room is kind of plain, but what do you expect for the price. Some weird people staying a couple of rooms down, but I will give it 4 stars.

We have been traveling across the country, so this is the seventh hotel we've stayed at in the past week. The rooms here have no fridge, no microwave, not even a coffee maker. Also, there is no free breakfast at this hotel and you have to PAY to use the internet. The place feels very unsafe and the other hotel guests wander about at night yelling right outside the door. There are other places to stay where the amenities are better and the price isn't that much different. After one sleepless night, we are leaving this hotel for good. Creepy place.

This was by far the worst bloody hotel Ive ever stayed in. There was no pillow covers on the pillows and they smelt of stale sweat. There was barely any towels. I heard at least two domestic disputes in the night and there was one right as I checked in. One guy had his Tv turned on full blast and I got no sleep because I didn't use the pillows. Please sleep in your car instead of staying at this dump, overall horrible nightmare experience.
