Lots of restaurants surrounding it, friendly staff.

My family checked in around midnight 8/8/2020, and was told by the receptionist to park our UHUAL and attached vehicle in the curb or behind the building. Due to tow zone signs, we parked behind the building. My UHAUL was broken into between 2-6am. After questioning the receptionist, Daniel, he admitted to being aware of multiple break ins behind the hotel, yet he still told us to park there. He was not apologetic. My personal information was stolen, and I am now at risk for identity theft.
Not to mention, this hotel smells of recreational drugs throughout the hallways and elevators.
If you are traveling with your family and moving your personal belongings, do not stay here. Apparently theft is common, and the staff has no concern for the safety of paying customers.

Terrible customer service, closet doors were off of the runners. Car got damaged in their parking lot talked to the GM, she said they only kept one day of coverage on their cameras in the parking lot. I know this is not true since I actually work for the Marriott brand. Have three non-caffeinated coffee in my room? I went down to the front desk to get regular coffee, the girl at the front desk said she couldn’t give it to me but she would bring it to my room when I was gone for the day. When I got back that night the coffee was hanging on my door outside in the hall. How does that work? Trying to do social distancing but how sanitary is it to hang someone’s coffee in a public hallway? Joyce the general manager there told me she would have pearl look at the camera footage that night to see if they could spot where someone had hit my car. When I came back last night I talked to pearl about it and she said she didn’t even know how to look at the camera footage, only the GM did or the engineers. It’s very frustrating when you work for a brand and they go out of their way not to be helpful. Also When I checked in last Tuesday I have my employee card and I believe the girls name was Audrey said that they did not except employee discounts so that I would not be able to use my employee discount to stay at the Fairfield. This needs to be resolved.

Love this place. Second time here very pleased.

First night here I slept wonderfully, got up this morning and enjoyed their complimentary breakfast of biscuits and gravy my fave, flavorful scrambled eggs, flavorful salsa, cheese, sausage… they also have different breads available, bagels, cream cheese, jelly, butter, lots of coffee, yogurt! I'm sure theres more but thats just what widened my eyes! lol theres a keurig, microwave, and mini fridge in the room im staying in. There are recommendations for places and events nearby on the paper you get when you check in. This is truly a wonderful experience.

Was ok. The pool area was dirty and the pool itself needed skimming quite badly. The hot tub was about the same temp as the pool. You have to get pool towels at the front desk and they're not much bigger than dish towels. There were several places around the halls where the drywall was cut to access something and left unfinished. Found a few bugs in the bathroom. The shower drain was really slow to drain. The beds themselves were comfortable and there were enough pillows. There are plenty of fast food places within walking distance. The staff seemed friendly.

Best place ever in Fairfield. The service was great. Staff was nice. The rooms were amazing. Like a Vegas style set up. Clean. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good tasting. The style was amazing. 10 out of 10. Will be making this place a regular stay from now on.

Hotel was very nice. Room was clean and nice bad. Continental breakfast was great. Close to the freeway and near restaurants. Highly recommend.

Hotel was pretty good. Same feel as other Fairfield locations. The location was close to some good quick eats, gas stations, and breakfast chains. The continental breakfast was decent and staff friendly. There's a pool, hot tub (with great jets) and a small gym. Addition of free weights is nice. Also noticed a jets feature in my room tub but was really loud so I was afraid to run it. Overall, good hotel to stay at.

The decor of the room was nice and modern, the cleanliness was OK, but not great. The toilet seat was not attached properly. The check-in was quick, but not very friendly. We didn't have time to use the pool, otherwise the amenities were average. Typical hotel breakfast. Nothing fancy here, but it was convenient for a quick overnight stay.

For those wanting to visit Napa on a budget, a 20 minute drive away saves you a ton of cash. Good room and great accommodations, though my only problem would be the beds. If you are more comfortable on anything softer than a board over some springs, you might not have as good a sleep as you want.

Nice location and clean rooms. We enjoyed their pool also. Family of five and we enjoyed our stay. It is also close (with in 10 minutes) to the jelly Belly Factory and six flags.

Excellent Place to stay. Hotel staff are very friendly and Accommodating. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Plus, Complementary breakfast was amazing. Definitely, We will be back again. Thank you for the good services.

Very mixed feelings about this hotel. Our room was okay and clean and the breakfast was adequate. But, the rest of the hotel was not as well kept. The floor of the elevator had something sticky on it for two days before it was cleaned. The carpet outside of the elevator on our floor had something on it — not sure if it was grass or what — that was there on Friday night when we checked in and it was still there when we left on Monday morning and had been tracked into a larger area. Apparently the carpet hadn't been vacuumed at all during that time. There is only one ice machine on the first floor, servicing all three floors. A hassle to use the elevator and go up and down every time you want ice. The spa was closed when we checked in on Friday and they said it was low on chlorine. We asked the girl at the front desk on Saturday when they expected to have it open and she said she had no idea when the pool guy would be there. My husband asked to talk to the manager/owner and was told he would contact us. We checked out on Monday morning and still had not heard from him. She said we could use it if we wanted but know that the chlorine level wasn't where it should be — not exactly good advice! Their reservation system was down when we checked in on Friday and they took a photocopy of my driver's license and credit card. I didn't feel comfortable having that info copied. The staff at the front desk are semi-friendly but not really service oriented.

Bed was comfortable. Room was a nice size. BUT we could hear every crying baby and every late night conversation in the rooms around us. Had to run the A/C and freeze ourselves just to drown out the noise. Hallways looked run down. If you can bear with hearing everyone around you in the room, then the comfy bed may be worth it. AND it's NOT a 45 min drive to San Francisco. Do not let the inexperienced people fool you. It's up to a HOUR and 15 MIN drive when you factor in traffic to get to downtown San Francisco. Nighttime there's construction, so there's no good time of day to say it's a 45 min drive unless you squeeze getting back to the hotel between rush hour and when construction starts putting out their cones. For us, it was not worth the extra $ per night to waste several hours of our vacation each day stuck in heavy traffic.

The service was average and the room was as well. They were having a dog show so there were a lot of dogs in the Hotel this weekend. You couldn't hear them or see them unless one or two was walking through the lobby. I would stay here again. It's good for the price.

Great location near Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and the Jelly Belly Factory. Service and breakfast good. Rooms are a little older and not as updated as Marriott Springhill suites that I stayed in the night before.

Nice rooms. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Many places to eat near by.

Decent place and decent staff. Parking gets full fast and spaces are tight. Rooms are decent and clean. Close to multiiple freeways and convenient places of business around the area. Staff reluctant to grant late checkout despite it being a perk of their "frequent flyer" program, only gave 30 mins.

Sheets were dirty and the hotel is quite old. The gym facilities were outdated and poorly maintained. I would not recommend this hotel.

This place seems to be understaffed and does not focus on making sure the guest are ultimately happy. The room was okay but this was a lackluster customer service.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. There is a small pool and hot tub outside and so far our stay has been quiet. The bed and sofa in the room could be a little more comfortable but it's not too bad. The shower is nice and has very good water pressure, the massage setting on that thing isn't messing around.

I enjoyed this hotel very much. It is conveniently located. The staff is great. The continental breakfast in the morning was perfect. I would stay here again definitely.

Very nice place and service. Modern style Interiors very well maintained. We took 2 dogs there with no extra charge and no problem at all. Plentty food for break fast That I could call more than continental break fast. They are showing that Price does not have to sacrify Service. Thanks for all.

Reasonable rates, clean well appointed rooms, courteous staff, great breakfast, fitness center, heated pool and they accept pets with no additional deposit. Cant ask for much more than that.

Clean, affordable, modern. This places internet absolutely sucks, constant outages screwing with my work. I work late at night online and it’s been down 3 times tonight. Other than that the rooms are spacious and comfortable enough. When the internet works it’s around 18megs down, so at least it’s fast ish.

Has been a good place for an overnight near Napa many times for my family. Fair rates. Indoor pool and spa. Free breakfast. Just far enough from from freeway you can't hear it. Lot of gas and fast food options. On other side of freeway is a costco several grocery stores and a few high quality sit down resturants.

It's good, clean and affordable hotel. Free Wi-Fi and Breakfast are always good to have. Staff was courteous. Only thing that everyone might not like is the fact that it is not at a happening location. Gets quite after evening. I was ok with that. Overall it was a good experience.

Good service as always. I didn't give 5 stars because the temperature of hot shower isn't really hot or even warm. It gets as cool as room temperature. They need to fix boiler system?

Not a bad place at all, but the front desk support is very awkward and not very personable. Also, the Wi-Fi doesn't let you browse normal websites, we were only able to use YouTube and basic Google searches. When I called the front desk, the lady told me she would check things out & then the call ended on her side. Not pleasurable support, but not a bad room by any means. The $100 hold in itself is worth avoiding this hotel. Good hotels only keep the card on file in case something happens, these guys literally hold $100 (why $100? ) and it takes 3-days for the hold to release on credit cards, and 10 days to release on debit cards. If the front desk robots were more feiendly I wouldn't mind, but they just look at you like a zombie with no emotion at all.

We bought the kings room with free Wi-Fi, ect but there's no Wi-Fi, none of the internet works in our room which we paid for Wi-Fi. They won't fix it nor will the lady downstairs try fixing it. She keeps lying to us instead of trying to help us. The drawl handle is broken and the bathroom door is loose about to fall off. There's no manager so if you need help with your room, they won't help you. Don't book this hotel or you won't get help if there's a problem with your room.

Very clean, quiet, & good breakfast, but room design wasn't friendly, amminities should be properly functioning, & courteousness can be improved.

It's clean but that's the only good thing I can say about it. The front desk staff are impossible to find, the beds and pillows are the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on and the internet they promise hasn't worked in 2 days. I've stayed in many of this chain before and have never been this disappointed. It got a 2 star just for being clean from the lobby to the room. I will never say at this location again.

Amazing! Huge life saver! So my mother and I were coming home frome a girls weekend in san Francisco and we hit traffic hard trying to get out of the city, 4 hours and we moved like 20 miles. Well after it started clearing up our low tire pressure light came on and it wouldn't turn off even after putting in air, its like 9 when we decided to stay the night at a hotel. We saw this Marriott and decided to stay the night, they had 1 room left which was a suite an instead of paying 200 dollars the guy gave us an amazing deal. The room was clean, the beds were so comfy, and there was a Jacuzzi tub in the room which was awesome. We had great service and an awesome breakfast and a fabulous time.

Hotel is very safe, the bedrooms and beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is the same every day not very good.

Where to begin: though I am a platinum member and afforded upgrades none apparently were to be had. Hot water was really really warm, not hot. B-fast was substandard for Super 8 let alone a Marriott property. Lesson learned here. Never again.

Nice location overlooking the marina the room was very clean and up-to-date with a nice TV the hotel staff was always friendly and very hospitable.

I've been to numerous Marriott Hotels and this is probably one of the cleanest hotels that I've ever seen. We only stayed one night since there was a mistake made by the Merriort reservation person. We were going to be going and visiting friends in Santa Rosa and we wanted a hotel closer to Santa Rosa but the lady made our reservation at this hotel which was an hour and 27 minutes away. The staff was very friendly and they let me cancel my last two nights staying there and we ended up staying with a relative in Santa Rosa even though there was no space.

Fairly good location with ample facilities for business trip, The property have a lot of eateries around and hotel staff is highly proficient and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable, good location near the interstate and you get 3 dollars discount at the pizza restaurant next door if you show your Keycard.

Room 302, stains all over the carpet, terrible customer service. I’ve stayed at la Quinta 200 times in the past 2 years and only have had bad experiences at 4 of them. I communicated immediately to the front desk that I couldn’t connect to the internet. She asked me to bring my device down. She got me connected to a few sites but most I couldn’t connect, said the issue was with my laptop. I connected to everything on my flight in and to my mifi device in the room. Last time this happened was in Appleton Wisconsin and the lady there contacted their carrier and resolved the issue at the desk. After I relayed to the lady here, she said their IT guy was just here and fixed the problem. Oh so they had a problem. I was booked for four days but will be checking out early and moving to another hotel.

I have stayed at a lot of Fairfield Inn's because it is usually a nice experience and a safe bet on a decent hotel. Tonight I am staying at Fairfield Inn in Fairfield, CA and it is by far the worst Fairfield Inn that I have stayed in. The room smells funny, there is a lot of noise that you hear, and their is a wierd paint blotch. The shower has no pressure, is a wierd walk in shower and the shower curtain is not long enough to keep water from going on the ground.

Room was nice, clean, and very quiet. We ended up in an ADA room which made showering a unique experience, and the tub/shower drained very slow. You ended up standing in water within a minute or two. Other than the room was great, staff was nice and prompt. When we arrived the refrigerator was broken but was quickly replaced. It was a good stay at a nice hotel.

A reasonably priced option about 30 minutes from downtown Napa. Also a convenient drive to Sacramento, Sonoma and Calistoga. Remodeled recent to our stay.

The location is very easy to get to from the freeway. When my family and I enter to the room, it was very nice and inviting. The only problem I had with the room was; my father and I wasn't able to take a hot shower. My father is very picking and he is also 90 yrs. I contacted the front desk and explain the hot water issue but nothing was done about therefore dad and I had to take a wash off using the sink that had hot water on. When we check out from the room. I explained to the front desk that the shower wasn't working. He and I just found out, from the housekeeper that the cold and hot button was place wrong from a remodeling. So if you wanted hot water then use the cold, if you want the cold than your the hot position button. With the information, it would nit work in our favor. Therefore I wish they made a correct.

Everyone working here is friendly and nice. The hotel is clean inviting. Our room is very spacious and comfortable. I love that there is a Keurig in the room. I would like a dark coffee option, they only offer medium roast (but it is a good quality coffee). The breakfast is really good. They have mini waffles, I think they are better than the regular size ones. Great variety of healthy choices. "We love the indoor pool" The hotel is in a great location with plenty of restaurants within a short walk. They have a great indoor pool that is only 4 feet deep, perfect for my little ones to play safely. And it stays open late. My family and I will definitely be coming back.

The location is right by a mini golf course, so being bored isn't an option. The rooms are simple and cozy, and provide a homelike feeling. The service is nice as well. The pool is indoors and it's clean. And I always look forward to breakfast! I would recommend this place to a friend, 5 stars! :)

The pool is very dirty. The price was outrageous! Usually have good luck with this chain but 1 bad experience sometimes makes the difference. Front desk employees not very concerned. The 3rd floor smells of Indian food. With this said, the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

It smelled clean, everything smelled pretty new and the look was very pleasant and chic, I felt like at home. Two complains thought, it seems like fridge was not checked, found food inside, and bathtub was not clean it had too many hairs inside, just keep an eye on the cleaning make sure it's completed properly. Everything else was good, no other complains as those little things won't stop me from coming back. I liked this place. Thank you.

My stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fairfield Napa Valley Area was wonderful. It's in a quiet location, but not too far from the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful in finding my way around the area. The rooms were well furnished and the property had plenty of amenities. I would definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

This hotel is taking advantage of the evacuees from the Oroville watershed. They give discounts to some in our party. They would not give the discounts for some nights for some individuals. They were giving higher rates to other patrons that we spoke to. One in our party called corporate and they didn't seem to care at all. They would not help.

Don't always believe the pics and reviews you see online for this hotel was considerably overrated. The photos allude to a modern, clean facade with fancy colors. It's actually a typical La Quinta with purple accents. The second floor smelled like curry and the bathroom light fixture was moldy and missing a cover. The beds looked real comfy but the pillow were sub par. The rooms did have a small fridge and microwave which was useful. There were other established hotels in the immediate vicinity that I would consider first.

The hotel is very cozy and quaint the staff is very nice and helpful had a nice stay here and not overly expensive either which was a blessing. I will be back for another stay!

My credit card was stolen and the people used it at this location to rent a room for 5 days. They were able to use my stolen information because the people here DON'T verify the credit card matches the ID! Every other hotel — even Motel 6 checks the credit card with the ID. Now they are refusing to be helpful because they know they did wrong! I am extremely angry and disappointed that someone was able to do this because the workers do not want to do their job. So beware la quinta fairfield will let anyone rent a room with anyone's credit card without checking proof of identification! only getting a star because I have to leave a rating in order to post.

We always stay at La Quinta even when we travel. This is a location that we may not visit again. Negatives: The king pillow top beds are quite firm, the pillows are overstuffed, the walls are thin (you hear a lot), Limited number of towels / handtowels / washcloths for a 3 night stay, Small parking lot, Thermostat didn't work properly, Wood floor in elevator (literally plywood), One ice machine for the whole building, Positives: Great location, Easy access to food, Frig / microwave in room, Good water pressure, Hot water is plentiful, Variety of TV channels, Lots of outlets, Updated decor (in room / lobby), Brightside breakfast. Decide for yourself if this is a location for you, for us it wasn't the best but was wasn't the worst either.

Decently close to Napa and Sonoma if you are unable to get a room there. Friendly staff, clean hotel.

We stayed for five nights. Everything from day one was great. They were undergoing renovations but it did not affect the service. Every one of the employees that we had to ask where something was at or what was this or how, were very knowledgeable and helpful. If you're visiting the San Francisco area it's worth the drive to feel comfortable and secure. After all, vacations or getaways shouldn't be stressful and they went the extra mile to make my trip stress — free!

The 1st night was great. The 2nd night the hotel had quite a few other guests and unfortunately we could hear the guests on the sides and above us.

Nice remodeled rooms for the price. Friendly staff close to Wine Country. Conveniently located in the very small town of Drive-thruville, CA. Beautiful area! Will definitely stay again. Thanks to all the staff! (:

Seems the hotel is in the middle of a renovation. The upgraded room was excellent. Super clean and spacious. They said to expect noise in the morning from renovations but it was no bother. Pillows were not great and could not find a soda or ice machine but that will probably come with the renovation. With the newly remodeled room it was one of the better La Quinta stays I have had.

Overall we were very pleased with our stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay. Yes the rooms are a tad out-dated (TVS are old) but the rooms were clean, and large. The location was perfect for a 20 minute drive to beautiful Napa, CA. Was close to many restaurants and activities in Fairfield, CA. Close to Jelly Belly Factory, Scandia ect. They served a very large spread for breakfast and kept it well stocked. My favorite part breakfast was served all the way until 11am, leaving plenty of time to sleep in and still get breakfast.

I would definitely stay here again. Clean rooms, great price (in our case, $78 incl. Tax for two people, with a King bed, sofa chair, desk), free Wi-Fi, pool, complementary breakfast. Close enough to the freeway to be convenient, yet far enough to be quiet.

Very nice Motel with a terrific breakfast. Everything was clean and the room was quite big. The street noise could hardly be heard with an open window and the AC worked well. Be aware: they have different rates depending in if you make a reservation online or just walk in. We walked in, but had looked up the prices before. They wanted $ 90 instead of $ 79, so I just made the reservation on my phone while standing in the lobby, then we got the online price of $ 79. The online prices differ from day to day (depending on the number of free rooms), but I think they usually should be lower than the walk-in price.

This place is pretty nice. The breakfast is the best I've had being at a motel. Hot tub wasn't as hot as I'd like but it was nice. Nice and quite. Would definitely stay here again.

Took a gamble when stranded in a rainstorm. Clean and straightforward hotel. Would stay here again if in a bind.
