This is my second stay here. My husband’s company has put employees and families up here twice now for our big week of events. They are great with families, have a really nice pool area, great drinks from the bar and tons of space to lounge (even for our large group), beautifully clean rooms, one of the best hotel showers, and staff that go over and above. My back went out the first night I checked in, and I wandered to the front desk at 3am for Advil because I couldn’t sleep. I was in a ton of pain and asked Robbie at the front desk for help getting Advil from the little hotel “market”. He cut the package open for me, also got me water and some fruit, asked to make sure I didn’t have any medical conditions he should be aware of, and was so nice. He went over and above! Someone else at the front desk accommodated our request for a late checkout (1:00pm! ) too. Love this place!

The hotel is conveniently located to Hotel del Coronado, Coronado Island, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo and a lot of delicious restaurants to go dine in. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and the staff are extremely friendly and professional.

Stayed 2 nights, staff is really friendly and nice. Beds are comfy, loved the balcony and I had 2 fridges in my room… really wish the water was free inside the fridge, and wish they had jacuzzi bathtubs. The pool only goes to 4ft so that's a minus, but its super clean and very warm. Hot tub next to pool another plus. Ice machines just down the hall… another minus is only 1 elevator in hotel so you need to wait about about 3 minutes, so not too bad. Overall really safe hotel. Its right on the water and a few blocks from airport. Would return.

Clean and modern this hotel is. It’s walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Very quite and peaceful as well. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.

Shout out to the staff here! Especially with Ms. Shannon Young coming through for me and the Brother with a very thoughtful & warm welcoming. The vibe established has been more than great setting up for a relaxing weekend. As an avid business traveler Ms. Young is above reproach when it comes to hospitality and just being such a genuine soul. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and very helpful! I wanted to send our sincere appreciation for everything and will continue to enjoy our weekend catching up here. After a long drive from North Cal and Bro driving from AZ. Thanks for being you Shannon, and to other staffs hard work.

Easy access to airport. Excellent views.

Not you “typical” courtyard. This hotel boasts waterfront views of San Diego bay. Lays next to a great park with running paths, playgrounds. Easily walkable dining options abound in this neighborhood along with many historic artifacts left behind from when this area was a navy base. Don’t miss this hidden gem when visiting San Diego!

Great check in process. Friendly staff. Excellent martinis in the bar! Food was great as well.

Beautiful and clean hotel! The rooms were spacious and well cared for. We enjoyed having our own balcony and the view of the pool and bay were stunning!
The breakfast at The Lounge was great! A huge selection every morning — including fresh fruit, cereal, toast, even an omelet station. Our waitress Lisa B. Greeted each guest like she knew them personally. All the staff we interacted with were amazing.
The location was fantastic, close to everything! I'd recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family. We'll be back for sure!

Friendly accommodating staff, good sized rooms and bathrooms, great food. Should have a bit more of a wine selection with it being California.

The entire Courtyard staff are very professional and so accommodating. I had three kids ages nine and under, one of the three was very sick and Liz and her entire staff did everything possible to accommodate all of us and make him comfortable. We were able to check into our room early.

What a beautiful hotel! I was there yesterday for an event and space was so elegant. The outdoor space feature the bay and is very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my clients.

Last minute cancellation of our flight left us in a panic. Ended up here. Have to say after spending a week downtown at the Springhill Suites on the water, this was right up there with it. If I was going to do San Diego again, I would stay my first couple of nights in Springhill without a car — do everything down there with Mass Transit. And then rent a car, come stay the rest of the week here, and do all of the things you need to drive to. Yes, rooms were small, but they worked. Laid out perfectly. Grounds are gorgeous… and staff was awesome. Internet was fine — no issues. Rooms were clean.
