This hotel was great! Everything you need was included, iron, ironing board, blow dryer, safe, microwave, fridge, exceptional house keeping and customer service. The bed was comfortable, I slept amazing! I would definitely recommend and will go again and again!

The rooms are okay. TV doesn’t have any channels for kids to watch. No free breakfast-starts at $10 for continental breakfast. Parking is $21/day, whether valet or self. Kind of in a sketchy area. Can’t stream anything to the tv. It’s clean and quiet. Happy hour from 5-7 pm. Not sure if I’d stay here again with my kids. Been up the last 2 hours from 6 am on because my neighbors upstairs have been running sprints across the room. Called front desk and they said they’d call them. Yet it continues. Not the hotel fault but man, just rude people… ask for the 3rd floor if you don’t want to hear footsteps above you. Loud footsteps.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are spacious and nice! A Denny’s restaurant is just right across the street! Over all this was a great place to stay!

Walked into the bathroom and found a huge cockroach in the closet. Also found a pile of dirty towels in the closet. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The white bed skirts on both beds weren’t white anymore. Room smelled like a dirty toilet. Lobby and bar area were very nice but the room was dirty. Staff was nice but doesn’t make up for a stinky filthy room.

Great stay for the Elton John concert, super nice staff.

I had a great experience with check in and a very nice room. It is unfortunate that I cannot recommend this hotel however the smell is very musty. I’m a lifetime platinum member and travel weekly, this smell is not acceptable.

Absolutely fantastic stay! We were on our honeymoon and they really went the extra mile to make it special for us (can't say much about our offer but it's 2-3 things that were above and beyond their standard offer). Also, great breakfast in the morning, although it is 10 dollars a person, it has delicious hot plates and fruits. Not to mention the buttery croissant and cinnamon buns, rooms were clean, modern and spacious. Location is great as it is close to downtown, beaches and SeaWorld. Limited parking.

Its an okay hotel, but not good for families with children. There is a strip club next to the hotel and there are no good restaurants nearby that is walking distance (although there is a Denny's next to the hotel). Front desk staff is okay, borderline not helpful (gave me a feeling of "they're just there doing a job"). Check-in was weird, got there at 3PM, which is their check in time, but was told room is not ready. This is a common complaint from other traveler reviews. I was told it was going to be 30 minutes, but ended up waiting for an hour. I was told I will be called as soon as it's ready, but I had to check in a couple of times because they did not call me. The room had a weird smell especially in the bathroom sink. Breakfast buffet was good, restaurant staff is better than front desk staff. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again.

We came here and made a reservation weeks in advance for our son's graduation from the Marine Corps. We arrived shortly after 3 pm, which was check in time so we could make it to our son's meet and greet tonight at 5. It's now 4:10 and there is a lobby full of people waiting for rooms. The only explanation they have given us is that they didn't get all of the rooms ready in time. They put us on a waiting list and told us they would let us know when a room was ready. No apology. No explanation. No offer to comp anything. We have been driving all day and need to shower and change before going to the dinner from 5-6. Looks like we are going to miss it. Not happy at all and even more unhappy with their non efforts to explain or make right. We would go to another hotel but there are none available tonight. I am so disappointed. ***Edit: We are here again a month later for our other son's graduation. We already made the reservation before the last time we were here, and we had other family than was staying here too, so we kept it and hoped for the best. We went over to check in along with a few other family members. They were all able to go to their rooms right away. We however, were told that we were checking in early and would have to wait (we all had the same check in time). So here we are again, sitting in the lobby and waiting with our luggage. We got here about 2:20, check in is at 3, and we were told they would hopefully have our room ready by 3:30.

Stayed for several days on business. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Also had a fabulous burger and fries for dinner one night. Rooms are clean. Lobby is beautiful. Martin at the front desk became my best friend. Would stay here again. Pool is great for kids. Very well maintained with excellent staff.

I stayed here attending a training conference with a small group. Found the hotel to be quite nice and we'll kept, especially compared to the surrounding area which definitely is not the nicest area of San Diego. My room was clean, large, and nicely updated. The pool and hot tub we're well kept and inviting. The workout facility was better than many hotels, but would be nice to see more strength training related equipment (at least they have dumbbells).

Great place to stay. Surrounding area seems worn down and you should probably not be outside late at night type of place, but the hotel itself has its own enclosure and seemed safe. Hotel rooms were very clean and modern and the entire hotel smells nice! I would definitely stay again.

This eas the worst experience of my life. I regreted sleeping here. The walls are paper thin and the guests in the next room were so noisy. Even after alerting the front desk several times they continues to make noise! They stopped around 2 a. M and then resumed at 6 a. M. After calling to complain to management all they offered me was an apology. Thanks Four Point I really feel better now. Never again! sub par.

Monica at the front desk was extremely accommodating. We had a few issues with the reservation and our room assignment, but she rectified them. The entire staff was delightful and responsive.

I have grown accustomed to complimentary breakfast at hotels, and I was sorry that Four Points did not offer one, but the was reasonably priced dining nearby. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, the hotel was easy to reach from the airport. The staff was friendly.

Service has been great. Close to Old Town and many shops. The room was nice, however, the walls are thin. The noise from outside and the rooms next door was loud.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Location is pretty close to a lot of dining options. The rooms are pretty big and spacious. I paid for the breakfast buffet, pretty basic for $15.

OK please read w/ care. Fantastic location w/ probably the most affordable rates for a clean nice hotel in San Diego with simplicity for getting to and from the airport, SeaWorld, zoo, chain restaurants and Target, without a car. Great pool and access to freeways and beaches but… Big strip club complex & very busy/busty Denny's across the parking lot, kind of seedy, industrial area, but I've felt safe and did I mention the price? Have stayed here 5 times since Sept 2017. Cheaper to fly in, stay here overnight and fly out of SAN than fly out my home airport in Phoenix!

Always great here. Friendly and efficient staff, quiet hotel, nice pillows. Good free coffee in the morning. Better than higher end hotels in Starwood without being fancy or expensive. Perfect alternative to downtown hotels. Short ride to business district.

We stayed a week and enjoyed our stay. The location is a bit shady and paying for parking is something I've never heard of before so I gave it a 4 star. It is central to everything we wanted to see and do so that was a great for us.

3 stars is just average. Wasn't the best stay I've ever had, but also wasn't the worst. The area around the hotel seems a bit dicey (strip club right around the corner). The building itself looked nice and well maintained. The rooms were very basic, but had the essentials.

The hotel is nice and clean. The stuff is friendly and helpful. The cost is fair. The location is ok if you have a car or if you don't mind using taxi/Uber for everywhere you go. There is a shopping area 1/4 mile away, but the walk is not the most enjoyable (but it's ok). We used Uber to go everywhere. In that sense the location is pretty good as there are always Ubers around and this is a good location for the amenities in and around San Diego.

The rooms are clean and well kept, but glasses can sit outside rooms for a day. The staff was friendly and quick to address issues. Good location and easy access to the rest of SD with a few micro breweries and other eateries within walking distance. Kitchen is open for breakfast and dinner, bit does not serve lunch.

Me and my family just stayed a week at this hotel for my birthday. It was one of the greatest hotel experiences I have ever had (we stay at a lot of hotels! ) From the first day we checked in, all throughout the week, and up until we checked out they took great care of us! The woman at the front desk, Monica, talked to my husband at check in and he mentioned we were in town for my birthday, as we got to our room and started getting settled there was a knock on the door and it was a bellman with a bottle of wine and a card wishing me happy birthday and a fun trip with my family and a tray of candy for my girls! It was the nicest thing ever. The whole staff was just amazing! So helpful and willing to help. From the front desk to house keeping! They all went above and beyond! Thank you guys for helping my family have a great vacation! We will definitely be staying here again when we come to town!

Very good service, very friendly people and extremely comfortable rooms. The only flaw I find is the area, there are many homeless people and you don't recommend being out after 6pm.

It is nice place to Ospedarse are very attentive employees and there are very good prices besides that the food is delicious.

The place was very clean. Very friendly service. We had a good night and Christmas there, and we had a very nice experience. Breakfast was included in the hotel.

I went with my cousins to SeaWorld and decided to stay at Four points by Sheraton.

Everything here is excellent! Great service, including the knowledge of Carlos of Marine graduation information. Delicious breakfeast! Rooms were extremely clean. Close to many restaurants… including the infamous In N Out burger. Would recommend to everyone and anyone.

Check in was pretty smooth for the first night of a six night stay. I notice some odor that room had a smoker but was offered a change in rooms. I like a few other reviews notice the strange bathroom set up with a closet colocated; however, the room has a trunk type closet that I used instead. The power connection on night stand and desk light do not seem to work for charging devices. I ended up plugging directly into outlet by the bathroom sink. I get a complimentary bottle…d water and parking daily as part of my reservation plan I selected at a higher rate. I can see that parking can fill fast at night as the next morning parking was full but was not when I came in for the evening by 6:00 pm. The area does seem some what sketchy; especially after dark. The next day I had the daily breakfast buffet also part of my reservation plan that I did enjoy. I came down right as it opened so hot food was fresh and fruit nicely chilled. Coffee was fine. For dinner ate at their restaurant and had the shrimp scampi that was ok as being hot and fresh. I was disappointed with trying to order beer. Beer menu was not current and eventually did not find anything new I wanted to try. I ordered cocktails instead. I have looked into fitness center and seems to be a good spot to get a indoor workout. Overall experience with staff has been excellent. Have not had any bad customer service experience but of course I have to disclose I am early in my stay.

Friendly staff, easy check in. Was assisted with getting our luggage to our room. The hotel is a little bit confusing, for its rather large. Seems like quite a long walk to our room. Rooms were very spacious and nicely decorated. Bed was amazing and bathroom towels were big and plush. Easy location off the freeway. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderfully clean rooms and friendly staff… the manager's name was Angel. So cute. They have free bottled water and nice hotel staff. Had a good stay.

I had a horrible experience. I booked it trying to save a few extra dollars, however the experience turned out to be not worth it. You have to pay $15 per night per vehicle to park, breakfast is $15 per adult and $8 per child. So if you have a family, you are spending more for rooms that are barely put together and not of shareton standard. Also, I have stayed at many hotels and it is a welcome sight when the staff smile and say hello. These employees are extremely rude and unpleasant. Please do yourself a favor and stay in a place that allows you to enjoy your vacation, not deceive you for ever cent.

The hotel itself is decent but the location is in a very sketchy part of town. It's located across the street from a strip club so definitely not a family friendly neighborhood. We only stayed one night and would not stay in this location again.

Great place. Nice updated large rooms, great staff, nice location in relation to all the great stuff to do. My only complaint would be the 15 dollar parking fee but I understand that lots of places do that. Kind of a scam. Over all great experience.

I gave them two stars for the cleanliness and breakfast buffet you can pay additional for. Everything was fine check in, room, atmosphere. It wasn't till about 30 minutes after checking in that I had been double charged and by them doing so it made my account negative. Once I realized what happened I went right up to the front desk and asked the gentleman why I had been double charged as I showed him proof on my iPod of my bank account. Then instead of saying sorry or being any type of apologetic he basically accuses me of being a liar by saying "We didn't double charge you" I said yes you did you can look and see where there are two charges of $735.72 and by you guys doing that you have made my account negative to where if I need to use my debit card tonight I can't. He didn't even care that they made me broke for the rest of the night. All he told me was that he couldn't do anything until his night auditor got there. At the end of all of this my account was fixed the next morning, but on Sunday at check out all they did for all the issues they caused me was comp me one night of parking which was a measly $15. For all of that and the lack of customer service from the front desk I believe you four points Sheraton could've taken one of our night stays off. Just won't be staying here EVER again!

This hotel isn't in the best part of town. There are several XXX spots close by and it is not right by Sea World. I was thoroughly disappointed when I got into my room — it was stuffy, smelly, humid and the AC unit was incredibly loud. The hotel front desk did move me to another room after I complained but the next room was still stuffy. I guess it's just an old building that's not in the best shape. Bottom line — don't expect much from this hotel. On the flip side, it is pretty close to the airport but just not in the most desirable part of the city. You do have to pay $15 a night for parking.

Location was great. Very close to downtown Italy. Room was also comfortable; the bathroom had built in shampoo and conditioner dispensers that I've never seen at any other hotel. It smelled like men's colonge which I didn't mind! We also appreciated the Denny's located right across the street! Will not mind staying there again.

Great location, good value for money.

First I rent a room and the chair smelled like throw up. I told the desk they didn't even refund me just moved me to another room and I was ok with it. Hidden 25 dollar parking and room service fee per day. Then when I went down for "happy hour" From 5-7 I asked for Hennessy from the front desk who said it was included with happy hour. I was charged $64.44 and I don't care about the money but I hate being lied to. For Hennessy 1 shot for $24.00 who charges that much? I'm a business man so I pay I don't care. Also the food I ordered it was burned very disappointing. They aren't even worth 1 star be careful everyone please. I'm still here for 2 more days. The names of the ones working in the bar are Arturo the manager. Bartenders name was Elite. Who ever owns this place is fucked up they don't know how to take care of their customers. Or train there workers on how to take care of customers. That's why this building is not busy in the middle of San Diego I only see 7 cars.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms clean. The only thing I don't like about this hotel is the parking, it costs $15 per day and if you don't arrive early it is very hard to find.

I got a good deal online and was going to book again a few days later, however, now that they are almost a Sheraton 4 Points hotel, the rate has doubled and they charge $10 dollars for parking. While they are under construction, the front desk staff is green or new and struggling. I almost broke my ankle when I walked out of the elevator because, the construction worker left a long piece of carpet laying out. My room was nice, but, their was a hole in the ceiling. One of the electrical side tables did not work and there was a piece of trim above the closet missing. I thought it was unprofessional seeing the workers helping them self to breakfast that is for the guest. Also, when I was backing out, their airport limo driver was in a hurry and almost rear ended me. The hotel is across the street from a homeless camp, two strip clubs and a porn store. Not the best location to stay in.

Despite the construction we were unaware of until we checked in, it was great for the price. Booked online through Hotwire for a steal. Convenient location off the freeway and near the airport.

Totally decent hotel room. A lot of construction going on there and it was a bit of a mess in common areas as a result, but all the amenities were there, the room was clean and comfortable, the shower was good, and the lobby waffles on point.

The Hotel is under construction, that was not disclosed. No pool and it's 98 degrees outside. The front desk is in a conference room. Pallets of construction materials in the parking lot, lot of dust. The worse thing is that the construction crew started hammering a drilling at 6:58 am, and of course that wasn't disclosed as well. Do your self and favor don't stay here!

The staff is very friendly but the hotel is under construction. The water was off for 3 hours in the middle of the day and another night the power was off for 3 hours. They do not tell you these things upon check in. There are no working ice machines during renovations. There are no discounts or any compesation for the inconvenience. The parking is also crowded due to construction traffic and the closed front entrance. The rooms are very clean but I do think they should warn you about the problems during construction. It is very humid this weekend and during the power outage the a/c and elevators are obviously not working.
