We had a wonderful lunch overlooking their beautiful golf course. Service was fast and friendly. Food was delicious. My BLTA was so large I could hardly bite into it! Only complaint is we paid $6 a piece for ice tea. Next time I’ll have water. I was pushing my mom in a wheelchair and a super nice security guard walked with us to show me where the ramp was. I wouldn’t have found it without him. Thank you. Really nice atmosphere and will come again.

Lovely as always. Service is still top-notch, even during this craziness. Social distancing and masks are required but that didn’t inhibit our enjoyment of the facilities in any way. Brunch was yummy and pool was fabulous! Only thing we didn’t do was play golf but that’s easy to do another day since membership makes it so great to play there!

Had our office holiday party there, expansive place but staff was friendly and stationed along the property to direct you. Room was nice and spacious; we had a buffet meal and food was not as hot as I would have liked but they may have been our fault as program before dinner was a little long.

We had an amazing staycation experience here — the adult pool was private and relaxing. The staff was incredible. The room was well appointed and the views around the grounds were stunning!

Great place for family gatherings. We come here a lot and the service and food is exceptional. I got the kobe quesadillas, side salad, the hamburger, chichen tenders, poke salad, and chicken sandwich.

The Veranda Restaurant at this Inn was amazing! The view from the outside patio out to the golf course was so gorgeous! Emily D. Was an excellent server. She frequently checked to insure we were satisfied & had everything we needed. The food (breakfast) was delicious! The customer service & food — WOW! We will be back again… & again… & AGAIN!

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. I would give more stars but here is why. I’ll start with the positives, the golf course they had and we played was stunning! Amazing views, lush green grass, everything was manicured. Simply amazing loved it! The spa again was amazing! Private pool and jacuzzi all day, our masseuses were awesome! So relaxing in the outside massage tables hearing the fountains, the fresh air. Amazing. But however, as mentioned before we told them it was our honeymoon and not even a congratulation or thank you for spending your honeymoon with us nothing at all. The bed was as hard as a rock and the pillows never kept their shape nor were they supportive. The ac at best got to 72 degrees, then upon check out nearly charged us $600 for a room upgrade that we never got nor asked for, and just lots of wrong charges what weren’t ours or that was wrong. Thankfully we looked over the receipt before we paid and they did take them off which we are grateful for. They were so quick to charge our cards as well. Tried to charge the full amount before we even got to our room. The manager Sharon and Ryan who helped us check out were very helpful, apologetic and resolved everything for us right away.

Top notch service and impeccable fine dining. A must for a meal aficionado. Their cocktails were amazing or so I was told by my wife and my wife's friend. We tried their steak, raw tuna and raw beef, all surprisingly delicious. The desserts were exceptional which complimented the meals perfectly.

Amazing resort! Spent 3 nights there with my family for a San Diego summer vacation. Service was exceptional, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the views were beautiful. Didn't get a chance to try the spa but the boys had fun golfing. It was so relaxing we spent most of our trip at the hotel, swimming, and exploring with the little one.

The Rancho Bernardo inn is beautiful. My wife and I are celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary. Check in is at 4:00pm. My wife and I have a 6:00pm reservation at the Veranda and we're planning on relaxing in our room beforehand. It was 4:40 pm when we got our room. They were at full capacity, and the room was on hold while the room was inspected for housekeeping. The front desk did give me a $50 resort credit and four drink credit for the inconvenience. So I do applaud the front desk in rectifying the situation. However it still put a little damper on our night and that is why I rated a four star rating in lieu of the five. While I wasn't happy, I believe this is an isolated incident and in the future will try booking a room at inn again.

Excellent hotel. Have stayed multiple times over the year. Staff are very friendly. Facilities are nice. Restaurants are good. Views are magnificent. I felt like home here whenever I visit this hotel! Will stay again.

5 star Fantastic venue for golfing, weddings, parties etc. I’ve done them all here and being in San Diego for over 45 years this place is one of my top 3! Great staff and beautiful grounds! Love RBI.

Couldn't have picked a more perfect place for our wedding! This venue and it's staff are truly AMAZING! Courtney was amazing and worked with us to select our wedding location and budget, Adrian took great care of us from the time we had our first meeting, tasting and all the way through the week following the wedding and Carmen took great care of us during our rehearsal dinner! This team is PHENOMENAL! and the venue… WOW… breathtaking doesn't begin to describe this property. We couldn't be happier! THANK YOU RBI!

Great for breakfast on the patio on a warm day. But bring the BIG credit card. This place is expensive. Service was top notch.

The Spa at the Rancho Bernardo Inn is lovely. The therapists and technicians are very professional and kind. Our spa appointments were for late afternoon, so we spent the majority of the day by the exclusive spa pool. The spa pool is exclusively for spa guests and is a heated saline pool. Even though the treatments were just about sold out on the day we visited, it was not hard to get pool chairs. Food and drinks can be ordered by the pool and the staff was quite attentive and helpful. My only gripe was that there was a loud and rude group of women in their late 30s/early 40s celebrating a birthday and none of the staff approached them to inform them of the spa protocol or asked for them to respect the other guests. The relaxation room became a photo session and chit chat corner. The quiet pool area became the party zone. The locker room was completely taken over and the ladies would 'hold' the showers for the other ladies. It definitely took away from the experience for the rest of us.

My wife and I were fortunate to have a couples massage for our anniversary recently. What a wonderful, relaxing experience. The spa grounds are so peaceful and pleasant. All went like closkwork! We had 80 minute massages and we were both extremely pleased. Nicole was my masseuse and she was great. Somehow she knew just what I needed! The treat of the day, though, was Arlene who checked us out. She was so thoughtful, caring and a bit funny! Thanks Rancho Bernardo Inn for the five star treatment you always give us! We highly recommend the spa to everyone!

Very nice hotel and facility. The restaurants on site are nice and have a good selection of seafood. This is a great place to come and relax or attend a conference. The only thing we had a less then great experience was with the room service. The food that came via room service was definitely not the quality of that in the restaurant. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful.

Very unique place to stay. Resort is compiled of a bunch of different buildings for guests to stay at. Poolside rooms have a beautiful view. Rooms are clean. Amenities are fine. Restaurant is beautiful. Breakfast buffet is decent.

We ate at the outdoor restaurant on a Taco Tuesday. Not you ordinary tacos. Delivered to your table an full of meat. There is a buffet of fixings to top the tacos. The atmosphere was clean with a wonderful view and the service was efficient but a little slow. Overall a great experience.

This place is like a second home to me. My family has been going. To this resort at least once a year since I was a baby and we have never had a bad expirence. Staff is absolutely incredible and the rooms are amazing! The food is always great and the cafe is the best! The spa and spa pool is to die for. I highly recommend the grilled cheese at the spa if you ever get a chance to try it!

I just came here for dinner but it's a beautiful resort hotel located a bit east of the 15 freeway. There are several high end restaurants to dine at on the property, often times with live music playing in the evening. The food and ambiance was great. I think the day time would be beautiful as the back area overlooks a lake. Service was a bit slow as the waiters seemed to be rushing around to too many tables. Will have to try again to see if it is consistent.

I stayed at the Rancho Bernardo Inn for a 3 day work event. Overall it is a great property for events. There are plenty of large meeting venues around the property. There is also a golf course, full service spa, and nice pool. Excellent options for when you have downtime after the event is over Overall the property is great and I'd recommend everyone take a look at it for your next event.

The only serious choice for business professionals around RB and Poway — to stay, for breakfast/lunch or a large dinner, or that drink after work by the open air fireplace. Weekend brunch is also the best around. Priced worthy of its many fine offerings.

Really nice get away. This weekend was a little noisy but mostly very relaxing. Rooms were nice maybe could use a bit of updating but not bad. Really enjoyed the surrounding areas such as wine tasting at Bernardo Winery and the beer tour at Stone Brewery. Their food and ambiance were fantastic!

Beautiful decor and holiday decorations throughout premises. Great amenities. Tasty drinks and food at the restaurants. Our room was cleaned to perfection daily and I certainly appreciated the complimentary bottled waters each day.

I enjoy observing people and how they interact. It is part of my work. Your staff was outstanding. There is an amazingly kind woman who works at your lovely coffee shop. She knows almost every patron by name. She smiles and talks with them all. She was joy! I enjoyed chatting with her. Little things are big things in our experience of one another as humans. Beautiful scenery, golf course and a very quiet place.

I came here for a conference and was absolutely blown away by this resort. The ground was beautiful and the tasteful decoration added to the luxury atmosphere. The ginger bread house (during the holiday season) was stunning and smelled so good. The staffs were friendly and professional. I feel like a VIP here.

Lovely grounds, excellent service, perfect for events. I am not a golfer and cannot speak about that but a long weekend retreat would be woderful here. I stayed in the Fountains building, quiet, even though somewhat dated interior. I ate at the Veranda and food was excellent. Especially the scallops. Loved the open fire on the terrace aND the fireplaces in the hallways.

For the most part the inn was very nice. The staff was super friendly, the room was very nice, and room service was fast… My only complaints were that kids were playing in the pool area outside of our room after midnight (very loudly), the mattress was way too firm, and I would have loved to have a bath tub in the room. Obviously the bath tub isn't all that important, and while I would like to say the mattress is objectively too firm, I do recognize that it's really a personal preference thing… I also know that the hotel can't always do something about noise, but I would certainly think the family pool should be closed by at LEAST midnight. I can usually sleep through anything, but this kept my wife up until almost 1am. All in all, I think we will definitely be trying them again in the future, but we were a bit disappointed in those few things… and we certainly don't want a room next to the family pool again.

What an amazing experience. Two weeks and we were treated like a King and a Queen. Amazing people, amazing weather, amazing pools and a room good for playing reindeer games.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was AMAZING! We had sparkling cider (because we don't drink) and chocolate stawberries brought to our room as a surprise! Everything was clean. We had a massage at the spa that was really great as well! Then we were surprised by a reserved cabana pool side! The food was some of the best we've had at the pool and at the Avant resturant we had fish and bone-in ribeye that were to die for. Definitely will be returning!

The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very nice, but it's starting to feel old and could perhaps benefit from a remodel. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the TV is a good size. But the bathroom felt dated and the toilet wasn't flushing properly, and we had to have maintenance come look at it. And as we were checking out we heard another hotel guest complaining about their toilet. Sounds like there could be plumbing problems. It's a very nice hotel but it's starting to feel a little less luxury then perhaps it once did.

My Company was here for an annual meeting. The staff was warm and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful. Our attendees enjoyed the overall experience! Christie from Cafe G went above and beyond when all our attendees were lined up for check in. She made trays of cut up cookies and drinks that were offered to everyone in line. Thank you so much for all you did.

We went to the spa there. It was amazing! With our spa package we got lunch and access to the pool, Jacuzzi, and sauna. It was so wonderful. I had an amazing massage, had lunch by the pool, a few drinks, and a swim. The price was great for everything we had access to.

Overall, this place makes nice first impression. However, I found the customer service and amenities really lacking. For example, the shower head was not working properly. It was set at the strongest setting possible, and there was no way to adjust the flow of water. Additionally, the head itself was leaking and "fixed" with a plumber's tape. The water never got above tepid level at most. Another example was the breakfast menu. Even though the card started that menus would be collected so long as they were hung on the doors by 2 am, and even though we hang our card precisely at midnight, the card was never collected. In my opinion, these issues really reflect on the hotel.

Attended a wedding at this beautiful hotel, but we did not stay as a guest. Very professional and friendly staff. They recovered lots of items left behind at the wedding and promptly returned them, including money. If it is within your budget to stay here, I would easily recommend it.

Ate at Veranda Fireside, which has a great outdoor patio. Food is great except the chocolate cake was surprisingly dry and flavorless. I would recommend the guacamole and chips as an appetizer, and the lavender lemonade is so refreshing! Would also recommend the burger, the salads, and the warm cookie for dessert — think fancy pizookie.

I live near the Inn so my son and I walked over for dessert and to sit outside on the Veranda Lounge. The atmosphere is very nice with a view of the golf course and a musician playing the guitar and singing. The decaf coffee had a good flavor and we had a skillet chocolate peanut butter brownie with vinilla ice cream which was large enough to share. Service was a little slow but not enough to detract from the evening. Overall a good enough experience that we reserved a table for 8 for taco Tuesday the following week.

From a pure customer service stand point RB Inn is fantastic! I love organizations that work seemliness within the group. This was evident when my wife and I decided to do a Spa Package deal at the resort that included a poolside meal. Both the attendants at the spa and pool were expecting us and let us know that everything would be taken care of which made the experience relaxing and peaceful! My massage was average and overall overpriced but the pool was phenomenal! The server "Taco" was amazing at the pool and I will be going back to kick it pool side again in the future for sure!

Resorts know they have you. Overcharge for food and drink. For San Diego they have meager craft beer choices. There is a funk in their rooms. The property is beautiful, the service is great as well. Upon arrival, service sucked. Our room was ready late, around 5:30. We asked why didn't they notify us, no real answer. We could have hung out in downtown San Diego instead of there. I would have expected a free round of drinks. Driving range ball dispenser is old. Pro shop people were great. Granada Cafe people were great. Veranda has great views. Bottom line I wouldn't come back. My wife was here for a workshop. Next time we'd stay nearby at a more recently renovated hotel.

This was a nice, calm relaxing way to spend a weekend. Staff is very helpful, and the bar has a nice friendly vibe. Our room was spotless, and had everything you need. Pool area had fresh towels. Would not hesitate to go back there. Checking in and out was easy.

Great place to relax. My wife and I have been here a few times now and we love it. Great golf, great spa, and the restaurants are really good too. Get a spa treatment and you get access to the spa pool and all the spa facilities for the day, so I highly recommend that if it's within your budget.

I visited Rancho Bernardo Inn for a charity golf tournament and banquet dinner. Their service is top notch both on the golf and dining sides. The facility is well kept with very comfortable accommodations. The golf course is a challenging, enjoyable layout and is in great shape. It's always a treat to go to RBI.

I was doing a job there for an event. The venue was nice but since I was doing work I wasn't​ able to enjoy myself. The place I was working at was quite amazing though and they were setting up something wow fantastic itself.

An enjoyable evening of food and drinks. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the taco Tuesday specialty, The staff was friendly and attentive. The view of the greens and the sunset made for a wonderful end of the day.

The views were amazing. The golf courses were in incredible shape and the fountains were absolutely breathtaking. The staff seemed very friendly and all of the guests seemed to be enjoying themselves. I also play Pokemon GO and this was a great place to play. A lot of rare pokemon were spawning near the Venus Fountain.

A well-deserved 5 stars. The staff is phenomenal and the resort is very kid-friendly. A room that opened up to the pool was nice. It's impeccably kept and breakfast at the restaurant was great food and comparable prices to the local restaurants nearby. The family pool was the spot to be for our kids. Everyone was really chill and the kids in the area could be kids… I appreciated that. The area, the courses, landscape and waterfeatures all complementary to the overall vibe. I would recommend the Rancho Bernardo Inn to a friend, for sure.

Attended a baby shower in the Catalina event room. The facilities were beautiful and tasteful. The catering was delicious and the staff was attentive and professional. Would consider having a wedding reception at this location. The grounds are beautiful and if it wasn't raining I could imagine countless locations for photo opportunities.
