A great hotel with an awesome vibe. Staff were incredible but a little disappointed that everywhere we went, they had to tell us what they were out of. In room dining was ok…our food was burnt though. The pool was awesome…you meet new friends, have great cocktails! Born and raised in Sac Town so didn’t need to be a tourist but it was fun to get away! Amenities as they should be since it’s a pretty pricey hotel but they do it right!

Great hotel with spacious comfortable rooms and the best beds and pillows. The restaurants on site and in the surrounding complex are awesome as well. The pool is awesome and the service was great. We will definitely be back!

It's a very clean environment. The fine dining of things is excellent. The staff there are very hospitable.

They have the best staff, great food, excellent place & superb service. Such and warm and welcoming place; Provides best and dynamic space for any occasion. Would recommend to any party interested for any event.

Had a nice time for our first visit. Super friendly staff welcomed us, checked gave us a complimentary beverage. Explained all the offerings of restaurants, spa, pool etc. Room is spacious, we were right next to the elevator, no noise what so ever. Ordered room service for our fist night. It came in a reasonable amount of time, hot, all necessary salt and pepper plus ketchup and mustard. Nice bathroom and view. Downside: our room was dusty. They apologized at checkout, said they'd look into it. They were concerned, honestly. It's in a decent location, right next to some shopping/restaurants and Golden One Center. I'll stay here again.

This place is trash. It is being falsely advertised as a four or five star hotel five stars are all I stay at and this place is a dump. It’s got 11 floors and it’s the same as stacking 11 motel sixes on top of one another. Especially the Sawyer hotel downtown Sacramento skip that place and never go there if you want to enjoy yourself go to the tapestry in by Hilton in downtown it is extravagant beautiful over the top and they bend over backwards to help their clients and all customers all the time. Plus there are more amenities and it is much more luxurious the Sawyer is a garbage pile and the staff are terrible I had to threaten legal action with my attorney and also had to threaten calling the state of California Sacramento health department on them… Long story short the this unprofessional manager had no choice but to give me a full refund immediately and my wife and I chose to check out early and went up to Granite Bay and got a real five-star experience. Don’t waste your money people not at the Sawyer. I can’t stress enough how awful the customer services and how disgusted I am with them them.

Great location, very nice, clean rooms but where’s my in room coffee maker?

We had a wonderful stay there and the staff went out of their way to have positive interactions and make the visit extra special, particularly for my 4 yr old granddaughter.

Love it, the pool is so clean and the bathroom is so pretty and has a ring light mirror!

Absolutely amazing! I recommend this hotel for anyone who appreciates stellar services. The bar is awesome as well.

Our room was simply fabulous!
The bell staff were great and the desk staff were amazing.
Jillian at the front desk went above and beyond in ways that are hard to even explain.
And the rooms… QUIET!

Very expensive and "modern art". Everything is square and not comfortable. Small rm. The staff is annoying and rude about wearing a mask even though there are ADA exclusions. No you can't make me wear a mask.

The restaurant echo and rig inside the kimpton has allegations of abuse and sexual harassment of employees. It has also laid off almost all their employees during a pandemic.

Love the decor, cool Boutique style hotel. Amazing view and the balcony is such a plus! Great location to go walking around! The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful!

Hotel lounge on one of the top floors is great on a Saturday night. The lobby bar has some great mimosas. Hotel was good, comfy beds.

Very nice accommodations, quiet, spacious, and a great view.

Bathroom door will not close so if you have guest good luck with everyone seeing you. Also staff is not friendly.

Super cute hotel! Amazing service! The staff literally attends to your every need. We booked through a 3rd party and were not guaranteed our room type but the front desk was able to accommodate us and with no additional charge. That was really appreciated. Absolutely loved the pool vibes, it was super chill, maybe because we were there during the week and not a weekend but I think that was my favorite spot to be. The location is so ideal, walking distance to Old Sac and Downtown.

Very comfortable and the front desk staff are extremely welcoming. Will definitely use this spot as my go to spot for Sacramento.

We stayed one night in the king balcony suite. The views were gorgeous, the staff was friendly, helpful and so sweet to our two dogs! there are no pet restrictions when you stay. They have dog beds, bowls and even food you can use during your stay. The pool has limited free seating so get there early if you can! loved our stay though.

The entire staff was extremely friendly—valet, front desk, room service. LOVE the location and proximity to what the new DoCo area now has to offer. Bed was comfortable— although I like a somewhat firm mattress; my husband wasn’t as fond. On the other hand, pillows were flat and there was no coffee maker. But I was glad that it was one of the few hotels we have stayed in lately that had a fridge stocked with drinks and a drawer full of snacks (for extra fee, obviously). AND they have ALL night room service available (a rare find these days) — which we took full advantage of… More than once. We will definitely stay there again.

I wish I had found this hotel earlier in my work travels to Sac! I’ve stayed here three separate times in the last two months, and will be staying again in the future. This is the best hotel in Sac, by far (and I’ve tried numerous). The staff are all sincerely friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed, including great touches such as all of the upgraded lighting. The front desk remembered I was bringing my family on the latest trip and made them feel special! Gifts for the kids at the front desk, teepee fort in the room! And to celebrate earning IHG Platinum status champagne was delivered to our upgraded room within minutes of our arrival. Not to forget free happy hour drinks every day, relaxing pool and cabanas, Punch Social bowling alley, and breakfast in bed with high quality room service.

Amazing service! Very responsive even though we were there at a very busy time. This hotel had many small touches has made it very comfortable. Like the different lights in the room, the amazing shower, the plentiful plugs in the room, the great smelling soaps, and of course the pool!

Such a treat! This hotel is hip and trendy and the staff is outstanding! A special shout out to Nikki at the front desk who went out of her way to accomodate. I like everything about this place and highly recommend it!

Great hotel. They have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. There are great onsite restaurants and bar. I ate at Echo & Rig and had drinks at Revival. Both places were really good. The rooms are very comfortable and modern. I could text valet to get my car — this was so handy. The staff couldn't do enough for you. They were very helpful. There was even a wine tasting and snacks in the lobby daily. I stayed for 7 nights which gave me the opportunity to see it in more detail — I couldn't fault them (I'm very fussy and picky).

Awesome hotel, super new and swanky. Pool is a bit small and can get crowded but the cabanas are super fun. The restaurant/game room is also so cool. They have a bowling alley, darts, board games, shuffle board, and foosball! So fun!

Cool hotel — great Valet, complimentary wine hour in the lobby (they text you an invite) and gracious, helpful staff. We stayed here for a few nights on a motorcycle trip and had a great time. Restaurant is very good. Close to everything downtown and Liquid Wednesday at Revival is not to be missed. Standard double queen room was a bit underwhelming, for the price, but great beds and nice bathroom. Would stay here again and thanks to staff for accommodating our parking needs which included 3 bikes, SUV and trailer.

Beautiful hotel, staff is a little too eager to close though. At nearly 60 years old I not impressed that my ID is required. After sitting and waiting for service from one of the many staff.

Outstanding! The staff was super friendly, wanting to go out of their way to do anything to make us happy. Very comfortable room. Sleek, posh, modern aesthetic throughout entire hotel. Great location with lots to do nearby. Killer pool with cozy cabanas and Sacramento skyline views.

Great service! The staff is very thoughtful. Decoration and cleanliness on point. Make sure to eat at the Steakhouse located on the 1rst floor. Pool party is free for Hotel’s guests on Sunday (party people! You’ll love it). They served us free wine too.

This is a lovely, new hotel, but it is intended for younger guests. The architecture is modern, with lots of straight lines, angles, and grey colors. Not very warm and comfortable. The interior of the hotel does not reflect the Sacramento area, so you might as well be in Poughkeepsie. They constantly have music playing in the lobby, in the elevator, and the pool area. The heavy bass and strong beats made me feel like I was in a club the entire time. The pool is lovely, but they have few lounge chairs; instead, there are mostly cabanas with couches. This is nice for socializing, but if you want to relax in the sun it is awkward. The staff is extremely friendly and the room was comfortable.

What an awesome place. So much to do. Sad we only stayed one night. Rooms were amazingly beautiful. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we didn’t have to carry any of our bags. Valet service was on spot. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Exceptional hospitality from the staff. Front desk, housekeeping, & valet/porters were all genuinely friendly. Dog friendly at no extra charge so that’s a huge plus. Right on K street mall, back door exits 100 yards from Golden 1 Center. Hot breakfast was average, nothing special but appreciated regardless. Punch Bowl Social has some funky bowling & again great service. We didn’t use the outdoor pool but it’s heated & looked very inviting. Our room was average size, nice furnishings, and extra clean. Bed was comfy with lots of pillows. Windows couldn’t be opened so room was stuffy even with the A/C cranked up. Bluetooth speaker & bath robes in the room is a nice touch.

Front desk — Adrian demonstrated great hospitality and was available to assist with a simple text. For instance, my wife and I forgot our toothpaste and toothbrush and one simple text and a brand new traveler kit at our door. Also, the morning breakfast crew were extremely professional. I had arrived just before the breakfast buffets ending time and they never rushed me one minute to finish up my food. They even allowed for my wife to accompany me 15 minutes after 10. Thank you all. Oh, also, all staff at the premises were very nice and provided a welcoming environment. Keep up the good work!
